This is not atomic swap.

This is a centralized service (changelly and shapeshift) that do the exchange. Some of those services even use exchange accounts such as binance.

If you have your seed, just go to Electrum.org, insert your seed and you will be able to have your bitcoins again.

I took a look at https://block.io/security and the whole thing looks very insecure.... The keys are stored in many online servers... Just use another wallet. Electrum desktop is a good choice.

No. It is not safe and this topic has been discussed over and over again.

There are far too many risks, too many weak points you are not considering in your setup, and it is not as safe as a hardware wallet.
Even using live is stick and  tails it is still a hot wallet if it was generated in a computer which had internet connection before or after or during the seed generation.

Maybe someone will never hack you and you will be fine. But will you risk your saving there? You shouldn't. Specially if you have a hardware wallet. You can just set fees for 1 sat byte and transfer all your brc to a safer wallet for less than 0.20usd. you should.

But if someone has btc in a wallet a then he buys a ledger, he should never try to use the same seed.

This defeats the whole purpose of using a hardware wallet. Because you are using a seed generated in an online device.

What makes hardware wallets relevant is because it allows you to create a seed in offline environment. This is what makes it cold storage

Someone on twitter asked something interesting: People could DDoS the lightning network with such a service. Need to think a way to prevent that.


There are even more interesting things that could happen inside such a platform. Merchants over the world could use that chat app to receive payments as well, not only messages.

You might not be a scammer. However, what you are saying is highly risk and everyone involved in probably lose money.

This is not things should be done. Have you hired people to audit your company (if you have one), proving that you own all those things you claim?

You are still talking about a nearly dead project like Waves, which is losing value day by day. Probably one the worst platforms to host a new project today, because it is *probably* dying soon.

Just avoid updating any firmware until some time passed and they fixed the bugs. With every software or hardware..

The problem I see is that users would have to pay to be able to chat (to open the channel) .

Also, once the channel is closed, messages would be lost, as far as I understand the lightning network. The messages wouldn't be on chain.
