So I really have to thank Theymos for creating this amazing forum, cause it attracts the people of the BTC community who are amazing people...
This forum was created by satoshi nakamoto himself! You can check it here: Welcome to the new Bitcoin forum! This forum is amazing indeed. And being created by satoshi makes it even more amazing, imo. Theymos is certainly doing a great job, as this is still the best place to talk about bitcoin, and he is the one responsible for this!

You have control on the inputs, really? Do you know a more trusted smartphone wallet with this feature, by chance?
For the hardware wallet, you can also use an old smartphone without a working sim, to sign the transactions.
Yes, there is a somewhat hidden function in coinomi which allow you to choose an input as non-spendable , so you can choose which to spend (by marking all others as non spendable). Electrum mobile allows you to choose the input too . Electrum android does not allow coin control.

Users are suggesting that you may have somehow created another wallet. To be sure you are using the right wallet Go to view > show console
ismine("12frz1zeVY4yHB4rNpPzBFkfnFqUEGTDBu")
To be sure that address belongs to your wallet.

1. Quanto tempo leva para baixar toda blockchain do Bitcoin hoje? Sao 250gb. Quero ver a resposta. Ganhou um merit por fazer uma boa pergunta.

What do you need to download? I think it is the other way around. Uninstall everything you can, and keep it as light as possible

Abdel_1080 Sorry for your loss. It is going to be hard to track this hacker for various reasons. It can be done, but hardly anyone here can help you. What we can do is tell you how to keep your bitcoins safe and get informed, because you are totally misinformed about how bitcoin works, how to store it, how to use exchanges, the risks involved... you are doing it all wrong. 1 - First of all, you should right now add 2FA (2 factor authentication) in your gmail and kraken accounts. I reccommend that you use Authy (not google authentication). If you had 2fa enabled into any of those accounts, your coins would be safe now. You can read about this here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3178131.0;all2 - Never keep large amounts of funds in exchanges. Such a high amount, 25k EUR, should be in a hardware wallet. Go ahead now and buy a Ledger Nano or a Trezor. Only from the official websites. ledger.com or trezor.io. Your coins were in the exchange, under their private keys. So the coins were really not yours, but Kraken's, as they were the custodial service. Bitcoin was not designed to be used like this. You should be holding your coins private keys. 3 - Try to find the blockchain transaction to the hacker's wallet, not only his cryptonator ID. His cryptonator ID is good, but we need his blockchain address as well, or the blockchain transaction. My personal advice: If you want to ever buy bitcoin again, buy a small value and send it to your hardware wallet. Try to understand how bitcoin works, and then you buy more.

If this is really the case, shouldn't it be worded as "most traded cryptocurrency" rather than "most widely used cryptocurrency"? Because as far as I know, though Tether is being widely traded for sure, not only for BTC, but for other alts, but I'm pretty sure Tether is very rarely being used as a method of payment and as a store of value, which actually people use bitcoin for. There's a quite significant difference between "most widely used" and "most widely traded". It really depends on user intent.
People just see as bitcoin as a quick money scheme... The guy who wrote this probably is thinking that the only use of bitcoin is for trading. Bitcoin is a mean of payment, as we can see in this forum for example. I doubt that there are many people working for USDT. It is possible and it would be interesting, ofc, but it is not common. Additionally, USDT uses bitcoin or ethereum blockchain. So, if you are using USDT for payments or trading, you are using the bitcoin network.

Doesn't coinpayments lock the rate for like 6 hours? 15 minutes sounds very short especially if the transaction has to confirm within that timespan.
Now I'm even more confused. If 15 mins is short, then why they even mark this as something worth noticing on their site? And, if 15 mins is a lot - then where the 6 hours came from? What's the deal with this time difference in hours?.. The user who talked about 6 hours doesn't know what he is talking about. He is probably talking about something else. We are talking about market prices, which change every second. There is no sense in making a fixed value for hours. They just mark 15 minutes on their sites for operational reasons, problably. You won't be making money in those 15 minutes. If there is big price change, they will refund you and won't make the exchange. They are not going to pay a price very different from with anything happen in those 15minutes.

I think Coinomi is a good mobile wallet. There are no multicurrency wallets which are open source. All of them are closed source. This Google vulnerability was in their desktop wallet, which is pretty new. The case you mentioned was a few weeks after the release... But the mobile is one of the oldest in the market, and there are no vulnerabilities known. I use it for more than 2 years, never had any problems... Of course nobody should put his life savings in a mobile wallet (like the guy you mentioned)... Actually, nobody should put their life savings in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency... I think that if you are storing only small amounts of bitcoin or other crypto, you can go on coinomi. It is easy to use, has QR code function, allow full control over inputs, fees, full segwit, etc etc... But trusting life savings in a mobile wallet? Just get a hardware wallet.

I am not a developer, but don't you think that choosing this kind of script by its price may be insecure? If you want to make money on a project like this, you cannot get things for free.

Guess I'll just have to take a hit on this one. :/ And there we go. This is exactly what exchanges which implement KYC with no warning are counting on. Privacy conscious users abandoning their coin(s). I would try to use photoshop on any document and send it to KYC. I know it is not right. However, those exchanges are not right either. Suddenly enforcing KYC is a theft.

They are volatile because they are highly speculative.
Additionally, the lack of regulations allow big players (such as miners and exchanges, which hold a lot of btc) to manipulate the market freely without any legal consequences, doing things that are illegal, such as insider trading.
It is also important to note that many cryptocurrencies have a very low marketcap ,so a few millions of dollars can pump the price like 20-100% , maybe even more depending on the situation.

Diversifying in cryptocurrencies is not really diversifying, as altcoins are all tied to bitcoin price. If bitcoin fall, all of them will fall. I just talked about this a few days ago: It makes no sense to "diversify" in assets which are totally correlated. As mentioned above, you will only increase your risk and volatility. One thing you can be sure. BItcoin volatility is much lower. So, if you want to be protected, the best is 100% BTC. as you can see above, all alts are falling 30% or more, while bitcoin "only" -20%.

Why do you say that? I haven't looked at campaign/bounty requirements lately--are new campaigns requiring merits now? Last I checked (and that was quite a while ago), there were only a few managers who were putting merit requirements on applicants. That would be pretty sweet if that were the case, even though I'm sure a high-ranked, bought account would have no problem buying merits from somebody. We all know that happens.
Usually managers do not require many earned merits.... However, I am saying that those accounts are not valuable based on the account prices: I have this in stock gentleman's;
Sr member I have currently (2 In Stock) - $60
Hero Member 1 (1 In stock) $80
Legendary memeber (1 in stock) $110
He is selling legendary account for my weekly incomes in signature campaign. or he is trying to scam someone and he is not even selling, or those spammers account are very cheap. I doubt a spammer account could get into any good campaing now (except for the yobit cryptotalk campaign.)

This is an old phising attempt..... It is a malware that replace your clipboard with the attackers address. This is nothing new, and also one can easily avoid it. Just look at the address you copied and pasted. A simple double check is enough to avoid this attack. Everyone should always double check the address you are transferring your coins.

Tagging an account seller is basically worthless. This user mentioned above has an avatar "Account Seller", promoting his "service". The real thing is to tag the accounts that are being sold. Much harder to track, but the only way it could be effective... After the introduction of the merit system those sold accounts are much less valuable, which is a good thing.
