101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 23, 2023, 05:51:19 PM

What is going on! now Mohamed Salah is rumored to be the next target for the saudi league team. I can't believe that the Saudi league teams are endlessly hunting for European football stars and this time it is Mohamed Salah who will be Al-Hilal's next target. At the moment there is still no information regarding salary per season, but what is certain is that his salary will be on par with Benzema or Kante. It's a crazy investment for the Saudi league team, they don't stop to provide a comfortable place for European star players to compete in the Saudi league next season. Will Liverpool be willing to let Mohamed Salah go? What do you think?

I heavily doubt that there is any substance to that rumor to be honest. All those transfers to clubs in the United states or now in Saudi Arabia are usually only interesting for players with big names that are already way past their prime and that want to make some huge money one last time.
Mohamed Salah is definitely not in that stage of his career yet. He is still in his prime and playing for a club that always has a chance to win every title.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 23, 2023, 05:37:49 PM
After what Dortmund did last season, i don't have any hope in them to stop the dominance of Bayern munich in the bundesliga, Dortmund is a football club that are comfortable with not winning, Bayern were bad last season, but still won the bundesliga because Dortmund gave it to them. They have now sold Bellingham to Real madrid, so their team is now much weaker than it was last season, because of this i don't think Dortmund has any chance for the bundesliga next season. Bayern's dominance will continue, until another team that's not Dortmund improves and stops it.

I definitely agree that the chances of Borussia Dortmund to Finale break the dominance of Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga were as high as never in the last decade or so and i doubt that the get another chance this big in the next few years. This year Bayern was very weak for their standards and i doubt that this will happen again in the next few seasons again.
I also think that maybe RB Leipzig may be the best candidate to Finale dethrone Bayern.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: June 23, 2023, 08:54:22 AM
Is of no doubt the market has already turned green and ETH surpasses 1.9k, though I was having this feeling to enter the market now that we have full confidence that we are no longer going dip. But I am a bit confused if this could be a bear trap, what do you think of the market is there any good analyst to give accurate results on what would happen next or to know if this is a bear trap.

I am also not sure what i should think about the whole crypto market and it's current movements. Bitcoin and Ethereum have recovered pretty well in the last few days and now they are basically at the same level as before the big SEC events have happened. At the same time the most other crypto projects are still significantly lower than before the dump. I don't really think that this is already the start of a big recovery or of a bull run. For that we first need a few weeks or months of stability.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 23, 2023, 08:34:11 AM

We are very lucky that he rejected the astronomical offers from the Saudi Arabian league and came to the Fenerbahçe team, which I am a fan of. We needed a striker like Dzeko. We could have had serious problems in this region, especially after Valencia, who had a very productive season, left the team, but I'm sure Dzeko will fill it more than enough. Thank you for choosing us over the Saudis Smiley

I am actually surprised that Edin Dzeko has chosen to join Fenerbace Istanbul instead of a club in the saudi league. In the past big players that were already way past their prime either went to a club in the United States or to a turkish club. Now since two or three years, there are also the clubs from Saudi arabia that are trying to get those players to play for them and recently those Saudi clubs were very successful.
They pay a way higher salary than turkish clubs and the sports perspective is also not that great in Turkey.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or not? BTC investors need to rethink their strategy as on: June 22, 2023, 02:31:54 PM

With these changes taking place, investors may need to reconsider their strategies, considering the extent to which these factors can affect price movements and their profits. Risk evaluation and portfolio management are becoming increasingly important aspects in this dynamic market condition.

I would say that there is no general "right" answer, if trading hodling bitcoin is the best strategy for someone. It all depends on the goals that an investor wants to achieve and of course also how much time you have to keep track of the market movements, the rumors and the news and also social Media. If you don't want to invest a lot of time, then buying and hodling is the best strategy in my opinion. If you want maximum possible profits, then you need to trade actively, but then you can also lose money more easily.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 22, 2023, 02:21:47 PM

Dortmund always stays afloat because they not only sell but also buy young and promising players, they buy players with great potential and help them to open up. Of course Dortmund benefit from this, but I also see that they are not focusing on the fact that selling a few players will affect their results, because the main team stays and brings new players to their usual level. It's not only Dortmund that does this, and if this model works for them, then they will use it.

That is definitely true. As far as i know Borussia Dortmund is a club that is financially very healthy nowadays. They don't have debts like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and also most english Clubs. The only Club that is healthier in terms of financials is Bayern Munich.
So in terms of finances Dortmund is doing the right thing in buying young and promising players and then sell them for huge money if they are developing great.
The problem is, that you will never become a absolute top club that way. For that you need to keep your best players.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 22, 2023, 10:07:30 AM

Ilkay Gündoga is a good investment even tbough he is old, better than Messi they were trying to push back to the club that will end up been sold because of their financial status. Still better than nothing bringing anything at all, they already have good young players in the club to help struggle for the leagues they all qualified for, what they need now is to strike a balance between the squad that will be starting and the ones that will be bench, it's very necessary to help ease pressure in matches and I hope Real Madrid doesn't end up buying Haaland though, it will be the end for Barcelona in Spain but I have doubt if Manchester City are ready for that discussion.

I also think that Ilkay Gündogan is a great transfer of FC Barcelona. He does not cost any transfer fee and i am also quite sure that his salary demands are very reasonable in comparison to those of Lionel Messi for example and everyone knows that Barca is in a very bad situation financially.
Also i think we should not underestimate Gündogan as a player. He was the captain of the best football team in the world in the last few years. This alone teils a lot.

I Want to Trade My House for Some Bitcoins - An Innovative Idea or Unnecessary Risk?

Hello, Bitcointalk community!

Today, I bring an intriguing proposal for all of you: I am considering trading my house for some bitcoins. Yes, you read that correctly! I am exploring an innovative idea that challenges the traditional methods of real estate trading. But is this proposal a can't-miss opportunity or an unnecessary risk?

The idea is simple: instead of selling my house for traditional cash, I am interested in receiving bitcoins as payment. After all, cryptocurrencies have been gaining prominence in the financial world, and many believe that their value will only increase. Could this be the perfect opportunity to diversify my portfolio and benefit from the growth potential of digital currencies.

First of all i would recommend that you sould definitely keep your house instead of selling it. An own house is probably the most important investment that you can make for the future because then you never have to pay rent again. This is especially important when you are older and don't work anymore.
If you really want to sell your house though no matter what for whatever reason then why not just sell it for normal FIAT and then trade this mondy for BTC afterwards.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: June 21, 2023, 05:41:32 PM
2024/25 will be my first bull run and I have been patiently buying and holding for over a year now.
Just wondering for those who were in the last bull run what it was like and how fast prices pump during the peak bull times?
Any advice on how to prepare when it comes to being ready to take profit?

Well first of all i am surprised that you are so sure that there will be a bullrun coming in 2024/25. I know the BTC halving had good effects on the prices the last few times it happened but that does not automatically mean that it will happen in the same way again.
Usually a bull run starts with rising prices of bitcoin itself this will go on for quite a while until the pump stops. Then the big altcoins are starting their run and even after that the small altcoins also begin to pump.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 21, 2023, 05:35:22 PM
Newcastle did a bid of 50m euro to Milan for Sandro Tonali, 23 years old.

We are going for 3 billion spent this summer from Premier League.

Those are really crazy numbers if the premier League would really spend 3 billion euros for transfers this summer. A lot of that money comes from sheikhs and other super rich club owners though that are buying football clubs for fun and as their personal toy this is not a good development in my opinion.
Also the premier League is definitely the most aggressively marketed football League in the world. Things like the boxing day are Highlights for fans but very annoying for the players and coaches.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 21, 2023, 09:20:36 AM

I'm also in doubt about Real Madrid, as much as it is the greatest winner in the history of the Champions League, it is also Mbappé's favorite destination, but I think that this is not something reciprocal because the friction caused between them in 2022 ends up causing this is the last option Parisians would want to do business with, in my opinion.

My bets are between Chelsea, which has already shown itself willing to pay the 150 million euros demanded by PSG, or Manchester United, which may soon be managed by a billionaire from Qatar, the country whose government owns the French club... making trading much easier.

Mbappe is currently the football player i  europe with the highest salary by far and i am sure that if he would be willing to stay at PSG then he would get even more money if he would sign a new contract. But he has no interest in doing so, which teils me, that money is not his number one priority now. He wants to join a club where he has very good chances to win the Champions League and i don't think that he will have those at Chelsea or Manchester United.
So he would need to join ManCity, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto YouTubers who promote crypto asset's. on: June 21, 2023, 09:13:25 AM
YouTubers those who promote assets if you know please share their channel's and contact details?

I don't have a list of crypto youtubers for you but if you do a quick search on Youtube, then you will find dozens of different crypto youtube channels within seconds. That being said, i would be very careful and i would not just follow the advices of those channels blindly. The projects that they are promoting have either paid them to do that or they have given them access to the seed or private sale which means they will dump on you as soon as they can.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't anyone created a crypto currency name Merit yet? on: June 20, 2023, 08:28:09 PM
Lately i been looking into altcoins more and more since I have got some more money in my life and want to make more investments then only in BTC.
One thing I was wondering is why nobody yet have created a crypto currency under the name "Merit" yet. Smiley
it's many smart people on this forum with a lot of knowledge about things like this and I think it could be a good currency to create. Smiley

Well first of all i think that the name Merit is actually a pretty good one, not only because of the role of merit in this forum but also because the word is associated with very positive things in general. The thing is though that a good and catchy name alone is just not enough because then you only have another useless meme coin that is dead again within a few days. So you really need a good concept for your token too in order to create organic demand. That is the hard thing.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 20, 2023, 05:42:38 PM
Bayern Munich also has got a very good player from Dortmund , sad that he moved there.
But lets see what Dortmund will make on transfers and what kind of new players are coming.

Even though my symathies towards Bayern Munich are definitely higher than the one for Borussia dortmund i am also not really happy with that transfer. First of all i think it will definitely weaken Dortmund quite a bit because Guerrero definitely was one of their best players. At the same time though i think that he will have a very hard time to get into the starting Eleven of Bayern. I just don't think that he is stronger than any of the current Bayern players. He is very versatile though.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: June 20, 2023, 05:35:40 PM
These are like general advice but do you some specific signs that newbies can spot in scam projects early. What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ?

I think first of all it is important to mention, that even if you do your own research as thoroughly as possible, then there is still a chance, that you will become a victim of a scam. So only invest money into crypto that you can afford to lose completely.
My second recommendation would be to never invest into meme-coins. 99.9% of them are scams or dead within a few hours or days.
Also don't believe the follower numbers on Twitter. Followers can be bought or boosted with airdrops for example.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 20, 2023, 08:06:39 AM
The DFB Cup matches were drawn at the weekend. Bayern München will play against Preussen Münster who have just been promoted to Liga 3. Dortmund will play against Schott Mainz from League 5 and Leipzig will play against Wehen Wiesebaden. Wehen Wiesbaden have just been promoted to Liga 2. The first round matches will take place from 11-14 August 2023.

Obviously both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are the big favorites in these matches. Still Preussen Münster could definitely be a difficult opponent for Bayern. They have advanced to the third Bundesliga which means they are all full time football professionals and those matches are usually the very first "real" matches of a season when the big clubs maybe are still looking to find new players or the right system and so on. A lot of upsets have already happened in the DFB cup.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 18, 2023, 03:51:01 PM

Dortmund management must change their attitude if they want to bring the Bundesliga title in the coming seasons because if they continue to sell star players, it is possible that Dortmund will fast for the title for the next 5 seasons.  10 years is quite a long time but Dortmund have always failed to break Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga.

Well it is pretty easy to say "change your attitude" but in reality i think it is very very hard for Dortmund to close the gap to Bayern Munich or to even overtake them. The sad truth is that Dortmund is very far away from Bayern Munich both in terms of financials and also in terms of International standing and prestige. Dortmund is not considered a top ten club in the world that is the reason why they can not get the very best players. They buy young and promising ones most of the time. If those are doing very well then they will leave the BVB again for a better club.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2023, 08:43:30 AM
Crazy how Arsenal really want to sign Declan Rice, I think it's too much if they need to spend more than 100 Million Euros because according to Arsenal big transfers [1] those players aren't show good performance like when they were in their previous clubs.

Nicolas Pepe, Aubameyang, Ben White and Alexandre Lacazette, they're failed transfers.

I would also agree that a club should never pay significantly more money as a transfer fee for a player than his current market value. Declan Rice hasca value of 80 Million € at the moment as far as i know, so it would be really stupid in my opinion if Arsenal would make another offer with even more money than those 100 M€ or so that they have already offered for him.
FC Chelsea was even worse, they have paid over 100 M€ for Fernandez in the winter.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 4 Altcoins to look at in 2023 on: June 18, 2023, 08:35:49 AM
It will be very important as usual to make good selections of our coins and while Bitcoin is looking very bullish right now, holding some Altcoins is very important because in a bull run, Altcoins are frequently outperforming Bitcoin because of new technology and innovation.

What's your Altcoin to look at in 2023?

From the 4 projects that you have described in your post, i don't any, except from a little Ethereum that i need to pay gas fees obviously but i can agree that avalanche, chainlink and of course also Ethereum are solid projects. I just don't know if they are that hot anymore. There are so many new blockchains out there now that are all offering smart contracts, low fees and fast transactions. Also i  would never buy Dogecoin to be honest. It is just a useless meme coin.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 17, 2023, 05:12:10 PM
It looks like Julian Nagelsmann is not the typical manager who will easily accept offers from any club, because so far the clubs he has been linked with are big clubs, which financially will be able to support his every decision in buying players and so on but none of them has become a place. he next career after Bayern Munich

Personally i am not sure, if Julian Nagelsmann is still without a team because he is so picky or because he simply did not really have any serious offers yet. As far as i know he was linked with FC Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain so far and  both of those Clubs have chosen a different coach now. I think that Nagelsmann is a good coach but i am not sure if he is really one the best coaches in the world. His first stay at one of the best Clubs in the world was not really a big success.
