921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 15, 2022, 11:27:45 AM
Barcelona have played very poorly in some matches.  But I hope Barcelona will do better in future matches.  But Barcelona players are trying to play better than before.  So now the matches they don't win, they have to suffer. I think Barcelona is a strong team.  They have good quality players. And the goal keeper they have is very good in almost every match.

I also think that FC Barcelona has definitely improved in comparison to last season. Just take Ousmane Dembele for example. In the last few years he always left the impression that he does not care at all if he plays or not or if Barca wins or not, but in this season he really seems extremely motivated and he also shows great performances now. Of course the transfer of Lewandowski also greatly improved their quality in the offense because Lewandowski simply is the best number 9 of the world still in my opinion.
Still it seems like they won't make it to the knockout stage of the Champions League, which is a huge blow and i guess no one would have expected that a few weeks ago.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest Heavily ALT now on: October 15, 2022, 11:22:01 AM
I have noticed that every cycle there are giant ALT coins. In the following cycle, the New top 10 is coming. As per the current condition, please be vigilant to invest in BTC.
Most Alts vanish in a bear market, the main reason is no fundamentals.

While it is true that the top 10 in terms of marketcap looks completely different now than 5 years ago or so i would not agree that it completely changes every bear/bull cycle. If i would had to bet now then i would say that projects like Ethereum, BNB and Solana will probably still be in the top 10 in 2 years from now. Solana could also fall out because there are other layer 1 solutions coming up with Radix and Aptos for example that could dethrone Solana in terms of transaction speed and low transfer costs.
I also don't think that any of those projects that are in the top 20 or even top 50 at the moment will vanish in a bear market because nowadays the crypto market is so mature already that all those top 50 projects are at least multi-million dollar projects.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 14, 2022, 08:47:14 PM
Schalke 04 : Hoffenheim  0:3
ohhhhhh  schalke ! ! does schalke want to return to the 2.bundesliga right away this season ? the team plays really horrible football.
today i had even bet on a 1-1 draw. but the team from hoffenheim was clearly cleverer today and deserved to win.

Yeah sadly this was another very bad performance of Schalke 04 today. Everyone that follows the bundesliga a little bit knows that Schalke has very high debts and therefore could not really invest serious money into new players after the last season even though they managed to get back into the first Bundesliga. They could not hold important players like Ko Itakura who is playing for Gladbach now.
So i guess it was to be expected that Schalke would have a very difficult season, but i also did not think that they would play such bad football to be honest. I would not be surprised if they would sack their coach this evening or in the following days. If they want to stay in the Bundesliga something needs to change soon.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another example is how greed destroy crypto investors. on: October 14, 2022, 08:41:11 PM
A few days back I bought a token from Launchpad. After they Launch on Pancakeswap I made 1.5X and sold. I was happy with that. But unfortunately, the token price grow double every day, then I bought again at the higher price. I thought this was a chance to multiply my portfolio again. Even though it grow 5x but O didn't sell that due to greedy behavior. Eventually, the project rug was pulled and skipped with all the funds. That means I lost everything even including my initial investment. This is how greed destroys us and scammer takes the advantage.

First of all sorry for your loss OP. I just hope that you did not lose any money that you need for you daily life, in the end i think the most important thing that you need to remember as a crypto investor is that you should never ever invest money into cryptos that you need, because there always is the chance that you lose all of your invested money as it just happened to you.
Also i would say that greed is the main factor why we are all here in the crypto space. We all heard stories of those guys that bought cryptos for 10$ like 5 years ago and that are now millionaires and we are dreaming about achieving the same event though we know the chances are like 1 in a million so i would not be to hard to yourself.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 14, 2022, 10:38:59 AM
Well, Barcelona still has a chance of getting out of the group. Now, however, not everything depends on Barcelona and we have to rely on Inter, but theoretically Inter should not lose, and Barcelona will try to win. Therefore, leaving the group from the 2nd place is still quite real.

Hmm for me the chances of Barcelona advancing to the knockout stage now are slim to none to be honest. If i am not mistaken then Barcelona would need to win both of their matches against Pilzen and Bayern Munich while Inter is not allowed to get more than 3 points out of the next two games and given the fact that Inter is also still playing against Pilzen. Also Inter is playing at home against Pilzen which is another advantage for them, so i heavily doubt that Inter will not win that game and if they do that then there is nothing that Barcelona can do anymore to overtake them as they have lost the direct comparison with Inter.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next meme coin to buy in 2022 on: October 14, 2022, 10:31:53 AM
The crypto space is expanding with incredible speed and introduces new and new tokens every month, if not every day.
Today we will be talking about the largest cryptocurrency group – meme coins.
Read on to find out what meme tokens are and what’s their role in the crypto market.
As others in this thread have already said this Thread was created to lure people into clicking the link and therefore creating more traffic for your website and i have no problem with that. I think though that you should have chosen another topic to write about because honestly if a website or a exchange or whatever gives the advice to buy meme-coins (now or even in general) that would be a big reason for me to not visit that website or that exchange anymore because in the end meme-coin are useless shit-coins that are just taking away attention and liquidity from real projects and i sincerely hope that the time of meme-coins is over.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: October 13, 2022, 09:48:38 PM
I don't know how long Omonia can resist, but Manchester United are playing well so far... Although halfway through the first half, they've taken 12 shots... I think that in the second half Omonia will not be able to withstand such an attack... Maybe Man U can show a good level today... Hope for some goals from them...

Well Manchester United won it in the end with 1-0 and a very late goal in the extra time. I did not watch that match but only looking at the result that is a very disappointing performance of Manchester United because they played with a lot of their usual starting players and to be honest i have never heard of Omonia Nikosia before this Europa League season.
Looking at the stats of the game though it becomes obvious that ManU was extremely dominant in this game and also had a lot of chances to score. So in the end this win is more than deserved for Manchester.
Also Freiburg won again today with 4-0 at Nantes. 4 Wins out of 4 games very impressive.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 13, 2022, 09:42:05 PM
Hi everyone. I'd like to get your take on this since I'm not really sure what am I missing here.
Although one would anticipate that the price of ETH should increase given that the supply has decreased by over 5,500 since last Saturday, for some reason, ETH prices haven't exactly seen the coresponding price boost despite lowered supply.

Well to be honest i also have a hard time to understand why the longterm trend of ETH is downwards in the last few months even though you should think that it would be the other way around because now Ethereum is deflationary and you would think that the FOMO should now kick in slowly but surely. I would guess that the fact that it becomes deflationary was already priced in during the last bullrun when it became public that ETH would switch to PoS and that it would become deflationary with that move. Now that fact is very old news already and not a lot of people are buying because of that fact anymore.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 13, 2022, 11:50:45 AM
Barcelona will be out as I doubt Viktoria Plzen the only surprise result is going to make against Inter Milan and if Inter wins against them it is no doubt then that Barcelona will go to the Europa League which is not that bad thing.
It is not bad because the quality of Barcelona is clearly higher than almost all the teams that are fighting in the Europa League this year and they can have a golden chance to lift a trophy despite this trophy to be second in importance compared to Champions League it remains still a prestigious title.

I also think that the chances for FC Barcelona to still make it into the knockout stage of the Champions League are 1% at max. I doubt though that the players and also the officials are also seeing it as "not a bad thing" that they have to go to the Europa League now probably. I don't know the exact numbers at the top of my head but you earn way less money in the Europa League then in the Champions League and Barca desperately needs every € that they can get because they have such ridiculously high debts.
Also i watched the interview with Xavi after that game yesterday and he really is a sore loser. You need to accept that when you did not win 3 matches in a row that it is not only bad luck.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 13, 2022, 11:45:17 AM
New trends are coming and you need to learn and adapt to them fast, I believe metaverse have a very good future ahead of us, be careful when choosing your next metaverse projects and make sure the teams are not here to toy with investors and end up not delivering anything.
Founders and Developers of the projects must be talented no matter how much money they have or how much ambitions they got.

I am not sure anymore if the whole Metaverse topic will really be the next big thing for the blockchain space. It is hard to tell at the moment because we are in a pretty heavy bear market now for several months and therefore most of the projects no matter what type of crypto project they are has suffered heavy losses. So far for me that whole metaverse thing is just one of the big hype topics of 2020 and 2021 along with Defi, play 2 earn and NFT's. Defi i think is by far the biggest and most important invention of that list. All the other topics will definitely also be still here in a few years but i doubt that one of them will the dominating topic for the whole scene.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 12, 2022, 10:17:38 PM
What a crazy night in UCL we just had! Majestic game between Barca and Inter as this game was so great to watch and if you have asked me after 1st half if we might see more goals , I would've said maybe 1 more but instead we have 5 more goals in 2nd half....amazing football on Camp Nou.

I sadly could not watch that game live so i am still waiting for the highlights to be uploaded on youtube. Even though Lewandowski made a very late goal for Barca to make that game a draw it really looks like FC Barcelona will miss the knockout stage of the Champions League for the second time in a row. I would guess that no one saw that coming like 4 weeks ago when Barcelona had a great start into the spanish League and also in the Champions League, but things can change so quickly in football.
This result of Barca vs Inter also means that Bayern Munich is now already safe in the knockout stage even though there performance against Pilzen was not good in the second half.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: October 12, 2022, 10:06:47 PM
It looks like Elon Musk is going to proceed with the $44B deal to buy Twitter as he has originally planned. The recent news of Elon Musk changing its mind again had a short pump in DOGE's price. If the deal goes through, that would mean Elon Musk will become the new owner of one of the world's most popular social media platforms. Knowing that the billionaire is a huge fan of Dogecoin, it's possible he will integrate the cryptocurrency into the platform for micropayments (micro-tipping).

I really hope that this time Elon Musk will be successful with buying twitter, because i just would like it to be a platform for real free speech where every opinion can be expressed (as long as it is not against the law of course) even if it is not the opinion of the mainstream. I only believe it though once it is really a done deal because his first attempt of buying twitter was kind of a weird drama.
If he is successful then it is a possibility that Dogecoin could be accepted as a payment at twitter. I also think that this would have impact on it's price but probably not as much as it had when Musk mentioned it the first time.
If this happens i just hope that it won't kick off a new shit-coin wave like we had a few months ago.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 12, 2022, 10:44:45 AM
It is very nice that Union Berlin is at the top of the Bundesliga, but I don't think that will last very long. Normally they don't even belong to the best 5 teams at home in Germany. Bayern Munich need some time to repair the damage as they are a few points behind. You shouldn't be surprised when Dortmund waltzes over Union Berlin. It would be nice for German football if we get a different champion, but the bad start of Bayern Munich must have been just an incident, right? I hope they have come to realize that when they also gave away a 0-2 lead at Borussia Dortmund.

I definitely agree that Union Berlin will probably not be at the top, or even within the top 5, of the Bundesliga table for much longer. They had an absolutely great start into the season and with a great defense and some luck they managed to win most of their tight games, but they always have to show their 100% performance in order to be able to do that and i don't think that you can do that for a few months in a row.
I doubt though that Dortmund will completely destroy Union this sunday though simply because Borussia Dortmund is also just not that strong. Yes they managed to achieve a draw against Bayern last week but in the end that was pretty lucky because the goal happened in the very last second and in the end it was still just a draw and they were playing at home.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone who buys Coins from the Top50 will stay poor on: October 12, 2022, 10:40:04 AM
Anyone who ever got rich in crypto bought cheap projects early before they were multiple billions worth.
Next project to kill Chainlink and IC for ecample is ModeFi. And you can make x1000.

Well so in the end your thread title is just a bait to make people look into your ModeFi shilling thread. I don't have a problem with that because the crypto space has always been the wild west in regards of scamming, shilling and so on but i doubt that such threads will convince any reader to invest into that project. I don't know about ModeFi so maybe it even is a great Project, but there are so many new crypto projects out there, it is almost impossible to keep track of them all.
Also i disagree with your statement that you will stay poor if you invest into top 50 coins. I even think that a bear market like now is a good chance to get some of those big coins and when we are back in a bull market even those big projects could do another x10 from here on.
Of course there probably won't be a x100 or even a x1000 anymore but at least the risk is relatively low in comparison to an investment in new projects.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 12, 2022, 10:34:59 AM
Another match is available in Group C between Barcelona and Inter Milan, where Barcelona must also secure full points, What is your opinion on this?

I think this will be a very tight match today. At the beginning of the season everyone at FC Barcelona was very enthusiastic because they definitely played better footbal than last season and were also able to produce some really good results in their first matches both in the spanish League and also in the Champions League. Then in the match against Bayern Munich in the CL Barca also showed a pretty good performance in my opinion but they just were not efficient enough with their chances and therefore they have lost this match, which was the first big negative result this season.
Afterwards they have lost the match against Inter too and now Barca is already under a lot of pressure, because if they don't win today, it will probably be the next season where they have to play in the Europa League after the winter break and Barca desperately needs the money from the CL because of their extremely high debts.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the best time to buy Old Coin? on: October 11, 2022, 08:02:10 PM
This is important especially at this point in the market because we are so low already with the prices of cryptocurrencies however the old saying is if we go down 80 nothing is stopping us from going down another 80 so we want to identify the best times to be buying altcoins for those longer-term swing trades.

I always have a hard time to buy Ethereum for 4000$ for example when i know that lot of people have bought it for below 1000$ a few years ago. That is the reason why for me a bear market, even though i hate that we are in a bear market at the moment because my portfolio worth is almost 0 now, is always a good chance to buy into projects that are already big and established.
I personally have bought Cosmos (Atom) a few weeks ago for around 10$ per coin. I could have gotten it for 6$ also a few months before but then i was to unsure if we would not totally crash because that was when the Terra hack happened. That being said i am still happy with my buy because it is almost impossible to hit the perfect time. If you hodl enough i think you can do nothing wrong if you buy now.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 11, 2022, 10:21:33 AM
There is some unconfirmed rumor about Real Madrid wants to have Erling Haaland from Man City as the replacement for Karim Benzema in 2024. Seems unlikely for now since I doubt Man City would part away with Haaland based on how much he has done and the money will be a huge issue cause Haaland is highly sought after his performance in the Premier League.
But then again still carries some merit as they planning this in 2024 season, a replacement for Karim Benzema at that time is understandable.

If Real Madrid is planning with Karim Benzema as their number one central striker until the end of the 23/24 season then i think this is a huge sign of trust from the club towards the player because in the summer of 2024 Benzema will be 36 years old already. Of course his last season wsa probably one of his strongest ones in the last 10 years or so but still the age also has an effect on him. He is definitely not as fast as he was a few years ago.
Regarding a potential Haaland transfer to Real: I heavily doubt that this will happen. Haaland has a contract until 2027 with ManCity and in 2024 he still has 3 years of contract left then, which means Real would have to pay a huge transfer fee of probably 150 M€+ if Haaland continues to perform. Also the salary demands of Haaland are pretty outrageous too. He gets more than 1 Million € per WEEK at ManCity at the moment.
Also it is still a long way to go until 2024 and everything can happen until then. Haaland can get injured or completely lose his form.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: October 11, 2022, 10:10:45 AM
I came across a post where an advise was ditch out
for newbies like myself not to get involved in new projects,
due to the risk that follows.

I would say there is no general answer if an investment in brand new projects is good for you or not because it always depends on what you want to achieve with your investment. If you want to go relatively safe then i think you should not invest into new projects because in the end the risk here to lose all of your funds is just way higher here in comparison to an investment into Bitcoin or the big altcoins.
That being said there are definitely good new projects out there and i would say that those projects that are launching now in the bear market probably have a way higher average quality then the new projects that are launching during a bullrun because in a bull we have like dozens of new meme-coins (shit-coins) every day that just want to make easy and quick money.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 09, 2022, 03:25:10 PM
It will be easy I think because seeing the opponents they will face are Stutgart and Hertha who are currently struggling at the bottom of the table is clearly an advantage for Union and Freiburg.
Even if they play away but the favorites in this match remain for them I think even though in the odds for Union Berlin clearly lost to Stutgart but this is something good because with odds 2.90 for Union and 2.42 for Freiburg it is definitely something that I feel is easy.

I don't think that the matches for Freiburg and Union Berlin will be that easy to day. Looking only at the squads of the teams that are playing to day i would say that Hertha Berlin and Stuttgart definitely have players that are at least as strong as the ones from Freiburg and Union Berlin. The big difference is that Freiburg and Union are just in a very good shape at the moment and therefore they also have a lot of confidence, while it is the other way around with the players of Hertha and Stuttgart. That does not mean though that it can easily happen that both Freiburg and Union will lose today. If Stuttgart or Hertha get a good start into the game then they can definitley win today.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 09, 2022, 03:22:16 PM
We are now in a era where scam devs don't care about anonymity anymore,  now they aren't willing to hide their faces, they will come out in the open, throw you some videos on YouTube and still run away with your money, if you are a newbie you need to have the following in mind when researching projects.

I agree with the points that you have made but i don't know if there was a recent event where a publicly known team has scammed it's investors and ran away with the money. In the end the truth is that you can never be 100% sure if the project that you want to invest in is legit or not. The only thing that you can do is to research the project and the people behind it as thoroughly as possible and even then you can become the victim of a scam with all your funds lost. All you can do is minimize the risk of getting victim of a scam but a rest risk will always remain.
Those scammers that really gave away their real name and showed their face will have a very hard time to hide from the authorities though i would guess.
