1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 20, 2022, 12:34:41 AM
An amzing result for darmstadt team, they managed to beat hamburger 2 1 they had an excelent first half where they scored two goals and they were really dominant, hamburger team was not able to get back on the scoresheet until late in the game and it wasn't enough, with this win darmstadt team is on the first position with 12 points after four consecutive wins, its impressive since they lost the first game of the season.

I could not watch that game live, but when i read about the result i was pretty surprised. I really thought that Hamburg would win this one because they played at home, or that they would at least get a draw but they had to suffer another defeat. Now they already have 2 losses after only 5 games again. After Schalke and Werder Bremen managed to immediately go up to the first Bundesliga again in the last season the HSV is now the only really big club left in the second Bundesliga and they really need to get their stuff together now, to not lose contact with the first places already right at the beginning of the season.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Meme coins going to make it to the next bull market? on: August 20, 2022, 12:27:29 AM
At some point most of us have interacted or discussed the pump that Meme coins had over the last bull cycle, even some of us held some and got some profits on the way. The thing is that nowadays there are thousands of meme coins and shitty projects that try to grab a bag, but, even most newbies at the market are aware of it.
That being said, this week I have seen multiple sources covering the uptrend from DOGE and SHIB, I find it interesting how these projects may have a possibility to surge again and claim a space as a 'useful' token for the future projects. What are your thoughts about this?

My view on meme coins is pretty negative overall to be honest. I really think that the whole meme-coin hype that was going on a year ago or so was really harmful for the whole crypto space and also one of the reasons why we are in such a bear market now. Back in the day during the heigt of the meme-coin hype there were literally hundreds of new meme coins appearing each and every day. Of course 99,9% of them are already dead again.
Dogecoin was the first of it's type and Shiba Inu was able to secure as the top second generation meme-coin so i would guess that those two projects will still be there in the future, but i would still not invest into one of them. There are just so many better projects out there with a real use case where you can invest. You don't have to pick meme-coins.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 19, 2022, 08:44:12 AM
Casemiro is 30, He needs the money United will give him before he gets weak . He has won everything in club football and he has no point to prove again, He is only coming to make money. I don't see him coming to united with the expectation of many people thinking he will prosper just the way he did in Madrid. I hope he adapt quickly to the team style of play.

Yeah i also having a hard time to find other reasons for Casemiro to go from Real Madrid to Manchester united at the moment, so the only reason that remains could be that he gets a higher salary at Manchester United then at Real. From a sporting point of view this transfer makes absolutely no sense for Casemiro in my opinion. He is playing for the current Champions League winner and he is playing a very important role there. If he moves to Manchester United then he goes to a club that is in big trouble at the moment and that has lost their first two games of the season. In addition to that ManU won't even play in the CL this season.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Shiba on: August 19, 2022, 08:40:16 AM
We all find it hard to move on from a project that did incredibly well, many are still buying Shiba inu today because they believe it can do another 1000% gain in future but the reality is I don't see how anymore, don't get me wrong, Shiba will still be a profitable investment but what I have learnt so far about making the biggest gain in crypto is becoming one of the earliest investors, before the project get popular you should be in, that's when you should be expecting 100x - 300x.

Your statement is definitely true and that is also the reason why it is so hard or even almost impossible to make those 100x of your initial investment. Now in hindsight it may seem clear to everyone that BNB or Ethereum are huge projects with huge marketcaps but a few years ago that was certainly not clear at all and people that have invested into ETH and BNB back then definitely took risk doing so. In the end they made the right choice and should be rich people by now.
With Shiba Inu the same is true but with other parameters because everything went down way faster. The early investors definitely made a huge amount of money, but that time is definitely over now and Shiba Inu is just a useless meme-coin so i don't think it will organically grow in the future.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 18, 2022, 11:21:48 PM
Manchester United are so desperate to get new players, a lot of names have been linked to Manchester United and I heard the deal for Rabiot has been called off and Casemiro emerging as the preferred alternative which to me is very unlikely to happen. Casemiro seems happy at Real Madrid and is not looking to switch club now besides I don't see what Manchester United will bring to the table that will be enough to convince him to join them.

I agree with you here. I also don't see the transfer of Casemiro to Manchester United happening at all. I mean why would Casemiro want to go from Real Madrid to Manchester United at the moment. As far as i know he plays a very important role at Real Madrid and he won everything with them in the last season and they were already successful again in the european super cup this season too. He has a realistic chance to win the Champions League again with Real Madrid this season while at Manchester United he would not even have the chance to play in the Champions League at all. I guess reporters are just throwing around names at the moment.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap Rankings on: August 18, 2022, 11:16:01 PM
It is clear that CoinMarketCap lists crypto's in descending order based on market cap.  But could anyone tell me why after the first 200 listed (at this time #200's market cap is about 239 Million), #201 through about #215 MC's are back in the Billions?  In fact the MC of #201 through about #280 are above the MC of #200.

I think coinmarkecap has a few requirements towards projects before they get their proper listing within the top 200, the marketcap alone is not enough. I think they need to be listed on at least 2 or 3 different centralized exchanges in order to get a listing within the top 200. People already named Kadena and Hex as examples for big projects that have big market caps but are not listed within the top 200. Radix is another one. At the moment it is ranked at around 3300 even though the real marketcap of this project would put it around rank 80 at the moment. At coingecko Radix is ranked at 83. Sometimes coinmarketcaps rules are a bit confusing.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 18, 2022, 10:52:59 AM
13 days left, He very much loves his mother that possible will follow what his mother said. Before the premier league session begins, Ronaldo did training in his home, Lisbon. even if it's not very visible, this shows us he loves his homeland. But for sure MU didn't want to leave he go for free, and sure not many like they bought because it's hard to sell the old player. So instead of being a thorn in the flesh, better to leave him to go with a bit of money, I think.

I think by now it should be obvious that the best decision for everyone involved would be that Manchester United would Cristiano Ronaldo let go. Just look at their horrible performances in the first two games of the premier league. Manchester United is at the bottom of the table at the moment and i think one big factor for that are all the rumors and news about Cristiano Ronaldo desperately wanting to leave ManU that are coming out each and every day. Even if Manchester will not get a big transfer fee for him, they still will benefit greatly in terms of financials because they can save a lot of money because the salary of CR7 was 30M€ AFTER taxes, whcih means they save at least 50 M€ per year.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: August 18, 2022, 10:46:04 AM
Scott Redler, chief strategist officer at T3 Trading Group, argues that the price of Ethereum (ETH) is on course to hit the $2,100 level. If Redler is correct, his bullish price target means that the second largest cryptocurrency is on track to spike by another 10%.
The technical analyst is confident that the second largest cryptocurrency may march higher after it recently cleared the $1,792 level. Holding above that pivotal price point could subsequently open the door to the $2,100 level. In addition, Redler believes that Bitcoin is on its way to reclaiming the $26,000 level. Ethereum recently experienced a significant relief rally in the run-up to the highly anticipated Merge event. Goerli, the last of the three testnets, successfully transitioned to proof of stake earlier today, which was the final test before the Ethereum mainnet finally merges with the Beacon Chain in September. Leading cryptocurrencies also benefited from cooler-than-expected inflation data, together with U.S. stock and bond prices.

I have never heard of Scott Redler before and i don't really care about what all those crypto influencers, analysts, researchers or whatever are saying because in the end they are only doing it to benefit themself. To the predictions that this guy made: I think those predictions definitely look realistic. I mean we are in the crypto market and everything can happen here. So to say that Ethereum will hit 2100$ again after it's ATH was above 4000$ is not a really bold statement and i think that everyone in the crypto space is sure that it will happen again in the near or midterm future. The same thing is true for his prediction about the bitcoin price.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 17, 2022, 07:12:38 PM
I'd say it's such a great the deal for West Ham for that amount and given what Kehrer will bring to the team, he's had quite an mpressive spell at PSG, and he's played at the highest level possible in terms of club side football. He should be able to settle easily into the squad. I know the English Premier League is a completely different ball game from French Ligue and the requirements needed from him will be enormous.

I totally agree here. That is a transfer that absolutely makes sense in my opinion and i also think that Thilo Kehrer is a very good player that can help any team. He is only 25 years old so he has at least 7 more years where he can play at the highest level if no major injuries are happening and even at Paris Saint Germain he played quite a lot of matches even though Paris has an all star squad. He also plays in the german national team pretty regularly which is also quite a feat. There were maybe other transfers that were bigger in terms of media attention this year like the transfers of Lewandowski or Mane but this one is also a good one.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 17, 2022, 11:25:08 AM
I expected Manchester United to be the most active when the transfer window opened this summer but they have been slow in their dealings and have failed to secure quite a number of targets so far, could it be that they lack funds to pull deals through or they are just taking their time cause the Manchester United I know from a young age are known as the big spenders. The club is failing, they need to do something about this and secure their season before it gets worse.

I just googled a bit and found out that Manchester United has debts of more than 580 Million €, which was quite a surprise to me, because i thought that English clubs should be financially healthy because of the extremely high TV money they get each and every season. Tottenham and Liverpool also have pretty high debts, that is kinda crazy to me.
Another factor why Manchester United has a hard time to get new players is the fact that they will not play in the champions League in the coming season and that is a big red flag for most of the top players in europe and that is also the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo still desperately wants to leave the club.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be open to any possibility on: August 17, 2022, 11:21:44 AM
Imagine me creating a topic in 2017 asking if doge coin can hit 0.70$ some day the answer would have been NO from almost everyone, what I have learnt from crypto projects is no matter how stupid a coin looks and you need to get out because its not doing fine always leave a bit behind, I sold all my doge coin 120k before 2021 bull market and left only 1067 Doge coin in my wallet, learn from my mistake.

I definitely agree that everything is possible in the crypto world. I would guess that no one would have imagined like 12 years ago that someday bitcoin will be worth 20k or 30k per coin, but that is also the big problem of course. In hindsight everything makes sense and now you think, why did i not buy 1k bitocin back in 2012 or why did i not keep my Dogecoin until they were at 0,70$, but of course that is not realistic. People that bought a serious amount of crypto 10 years ago took a huge risk and of course they are now heavily rewarded for it and are rich now, but the chances for that were very slim.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 16, 2022, 08:09:35 PM
Who do you think will come back stronger? I mean it is a very big gap during this summer break, and we see teams get better and better during the season from race to race, so if they are that good on improving (of course there are improvements on the line before anyway) that means we may end up seeing something awesome. I guess Mercedes and Toto are believing that with these new stuff, they are going to get rid of that bouncing and they will have a chance to race with full power, so far they haven't because the more power they used, the more they bounced and lost speed, and that held them back, anyone thinks they could make a big huge comeback?

I definitely think, that it is possible that Mercedes can right for race wins again after the summer break. I mean if we take a look at the races in this season so far then the development of the Mercedes has been very positive. At the beginning they had extreme problems with porpoising and that's why they just did not have the speed to be competitive in the first few races. After a few weeks though they definitely made improvements to the car and now the porpoising is almost gone and Mercedes was at the podium consecutive times now in the last races before the break.
It is too late o fight for a championship now, but i think Mercedes can definitely win a few races.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of privacy coin is not looking good on: August 16, 2022, 08:03:49 PM
I have few privacy coins in my wallet and the future regulation and the hatred from government on privacy coin making me feel like I've made the wrong choice, what do you think? Is this something to worry about? Or not

I definitely agree with you, that at the moment the focus in the crypto space is definitely not on the privacy coins. At the moment everyone is still talking about Defi, NFT's, metaverse, play to earn and whatever had a big hype wave in the last year or so. The next big thing that can be interesting in the crypto market can be Web3.0 so i think that privacy coins will stay out of the focus of most crypto investors for at least a little longer. Every trend has it's time and the big privacy coins like Monero and Dash are still here, but the big hype around them was around 2017 or 2018 if i remember correctly. That does not mean though that if we enter a bull market again, that you can not make big gains with the privacy coins that you are holding now.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 16, 2022, 10:44:25 AM
Actually when Messi transfered to Paris sent Garmain, this time Barcelona really crisised a huge amount of financial problems. But now Barcelona already balanced more than €150M for transfer market. They already contracted Robert lewandoski, Raphina and kounde . Now Barcelona FC the top most favourite team in the la Liga Spain as like  real Madrid FC .

The funny thing is that Barcelona is still in very serious financial trouble but they just don't seem to care. They have 1,3 Billion € of debts, that is why they had to sell parts of their TV-rights, shares of their own TV channel and even parts of their marketing and mechandise brands. Those sells brought Barca around 600 Million € if the reports are correct, but instead of using that money to pay back debts they just took it and bought Lewandowski, Raphinha and Kounde. They they had to sell shares of their TV channel again just in order to be able to register those players.
The Barca officials are really acting completely irresponsible in my opinion.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Billions burning rate on: August 16, 2022, 10:37:49 AM
What do you think about Shiba inu billions of tokens getting burned from time to time? How do you think this will affect the price in the few years to come? Do you think believe that Shiba could kill two zeros in the next bull market? .

Well in general i always like projects that are burning tokens from time to time because this means that the supply becomes lower and therefore the token becomes inflationary which is usually always good for the price of the tokens. In regards to the burn of SHIB: Burning Billions of tokens sounds like a huge number at the first glance maybe but if you look at their maximum supply then you will see that a billion token is way less than 1%, even less than 1  per thousand, so the effects of burning a billion SHIB tokens are close to none in my opinion. In addition to that, SHIB is just a useless meme-coin and without a use case burning tokens also won't do anything.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 14, 2022, 11:19:53 PM
Bayern Munich are also on their way to another easy win. At halftime it took a little longer for them to appear, but in the end they went into halftime with 2-0 and now it is still 2-0 after 64 minutes. Had actually expected a few goals in the 2nd half, but they have not yet materialized. Maybe they will come, Bayern Munich is a team that can easily score 2 times in 10 minutes. Mainz - Union Berlin was a very boring match and the 0-0 final score is therefore no surprise as far as I am concerned.

The second halftime was really not that exciting to watch as Bayern seemed to be happy with their 2-0 lead and Wolfsburg was probably also quite satisfied that they only were 0-2 behind at that point. A lot of people were probably expecting that Wolfsburg would receive 4 or more goals from Bayern just like Frankfurt and RB Leipzig did. Even though Bayern did not score that many goals today they still looked very dominating to me for the largest part of the game. Only in the first 15 minutes or so Wolfsburg was able to keep up.
Overall Bayern looked definitely the strongest so far out of all the clubs that are favorites for the Bundesliga title. If Bayern can keep this level then there is nothing that Leipzig or Dortmund can do.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 14, 2022, 03:51:22 PM
Carlo Ancelottis career as a coach is coming to an end. Real Madrid will be his last team as coach. He will finish at the age of 65. Currently, his contract runs until 2024. An extension is very hopeless. Real Madrid is the best team and where better to end his career than at the best club. You can see from his statements in the TV that he has changed and become calmer like before. He is a professional and his successes are great: 4x the Champions League and 2x world club coach of the year.

Carlo Ancelotti is definitely a great coach and also one of the most successful ones of all times. For me he is the total opposite of Pep Guardiola. When Guardiola comes to a club, then he is changing up everything in order to make the team play football the way that he thinks is the best way and he is also demanding a lot from every player.
Carlo Ancelotti on the other hand is more of a good mediator that always manages to make the players totally trust him and to also give 100% for him in the important games. That is also the reason, why Ancelotti was so successful at Real madrid in the last season. He has a lot of good and experienced players there, that he only needs to keep happy.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will get more demand on: August 14, 2022, 03:45:01 PM
The latest rumour going around about the Ethereum merge is a dump after, you are wrong if you are one of them, Ethereum going proof of stake and fixing the high gas fee have automatically turn this project into a GOLD, every whales will want to stake and enjoy the rewards, even if a dump happens after the so called fork it won't last.

As far as i know Ethereum will become deflationary once the merge has happened or sometime after that, this will make the existing Ethereum coins automatically even rarer and this should also be a driving force for the price in my opinion. I think that the price pump for Ethereum already happened after the news became public, that the merge now has an official date, so i don't really think, that there will be more big price pumps of Ethereum in the near future.
I am also not sure if people that have left the Ethereum network for the binance smart chain, solana or wherever they are now will come back to Ethereum once the fees are lower again, because in the end BSC and Solana just work as well as ETH and they already have low fees.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 13, 2022, 10:59:28 PM
Leverkusen 1-2 Augsburg

Leverkusen did not win the second match after the defeat in the first match. Leverkusen lost 2-1 against Augsburg. But Leverkusen's dominance in today's match was palpable. They made 24 total shots, while Augsburg made just 6. On the other hand the ball possession Leverkusen 68% and Augsburg only 32%. There is no doubt that Leverkusen played well, but they should be more tactical. Instead of playing only attacking tactics, efforts should be made to strengthen the attacks.

I kinda feel bad for Leverkusen i have to admit, even though i am not a Leverkusen supporter. I mean they already were pretty unlucky last weekend against Dortmund where they would have definitely deserved a draw their because they were at least as strong as Dortmund, but they suffered an unlucky defeat because they just did not make any of their chances. Today it was pretty much the same again, they were totally dominating the game again but they just were not able to score the needed goals in order to win. I just hope that everyone in Leverkusen stays calm now and that the coach gets enough time. I like the way that Leverkusen is playing overall.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge date confirmed, any price action predictions after merge? on: August 13, 2022, 10:55:35 PM
Earlier this week, Ethereum successfully completed its final testnet merge known as Goerli, which is the last step towards the long awaited merge and eth 2.0
With all the supposed benefits this brings, what do you guys think Eth’s price action will do taking into account overall market  conditions?

We have already seen the first impact of this news in terms of the price of ETH when the price went up from 1700$ to now almost 2000$ per ETH very fast. At the moment it seems like the price is consolidating slightly below the 2000$ mark, which is a big psychological barrier. I don't know if we will see more price pumps of ETH like this one, because the impact of that news is already gone now obviously.
If the merge will successfully happen on the date that they have announced and if afterwards everything works as planned also brings the benefits that every user of Ethereum is waiting for, like lower gas fees, then i think the overall trend for ETH is definitely upwards.
