1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 14, 2022, 11:16:14 AM
I haven't seen Lewandowski showing this much bad performance since the beginning of the season. Actually he was really trying but he was so bad at finishing. Especially one of his attempts was an absolute goal chance but the ball went right above the upper goal post. Pedri also had a very clear opportunity but he targeted the goal post after a great give and go. Bayern Munich were as usual. The first goal helped them start playing better and the second one came very quickly. Barcelona are still very unlucky against them but I hope they will win the game in Camp Nou.

I watched most of the matches from Lewandowski in the last few years as i watched most Bayern matches and i have to say that it is not that unusual that Lewandowski is wasting a few of those very big chances in a match, as this has happened many times before in his career. He is so good with positioning and anticipation that he usually gets a lot of chances to score and most of the time he makes at least one of those chances count.
Yesterday though it was different. The shot that you mentioned should have been a goal i agree, but his other chances were not that big. Pedri's chance was way bigger though in my opinion and i think Lewandowski would have made that one.
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHW Core to push on with Ethereum PoW fork 24 hours after Merge on: September 14, 2022, 11:09:34 AM
Along with the transition of Ethereum to POS, miners lose their profitable business. Accordingly, they resist this and the only solution for them in this situation will be a fork that will allow them to continue to receive profit from mining. But it can be assumed that it will not be as profitable as ETH mining.

Well i can totally understand that those big mining companies that are mainly in China are not very happy that Ethereum will switch to PoS soon as they have invested Millions of Dollars into their mining farms and most of them are using ASIC's to mine Ethereum which means they can not just switch to mining Bitcoin as it is using a different algorithm.
That being said, it is known for some years now that ETH will become proof of stake so those companies had a few years to prepare for that moment that will come now in a few days.
I doubt that their ETHW fork will be really profitable. It is just a desperate move in my opinion, but we will see.

Bayern has proven it again that the can do it over and again even without Lewa. Since the second leg of the semi finals of 2014/15 champions league till date Barcelona has not been able to take their revenge on Bayern with their worst concede been during the 2019/20 quarter finals. where they lost 2 -8 at home. Currently It's 76' and Bayern is already leading by 2 goals

Well Bayern won it in the end and i have to say that Bayern was pretty lucky today to win this game. FC Barcelona was the better team in the first half with 2 or 3 clear chances and they also could have gotten a penalty. In the second half Barca also had the first big chance but Raphinha did not score. After that Bayern dominated the next 15 minutes or so which was enough for them to score 2 goals.
For me this was also a match between a club that acts responsibly with their financials for decades now and still has more than 100 M€ sitting on the bank against a club that has more than 1 Billion € of debts but still keeps buying new players which is absolutely irresponsible for me. So in the end i am happy that Bayern won.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SWEATCOIN on: September 13, 2022, 09:02:59 PM
what did you guys see about sweatcoin hype
will this last forever?Huh

I heavily doubt that this hype will go on for more than a few days before it slowly dies off again. I also noticed that sweat has a very large trading volume on Kucoin and because of that i did a little search what this project is and what i have found is nothing special that would justify that kind of hype in my opinion. I also read in their whitepaper that users of their app that is also running since a few months now or so can exchange their earned sweatcoin from the app into real SWEAT that are now traded with a 1 to 1 ration. I have not found info yet if this has already happened but i would guess that once the users get those free SWEAT the price will heavily dump because we all know that 95% of the users of those app are just airdrop hunters and botters that are farming those sweatcoins for profit.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 13, 2022, 01:15:42 PM
Today there will be a match schedule which of course everyone is waiting for, whether Liverpool vs Ajax or the more prestigious Barcelona vs Bayern Munich. After all, Bayern Munich hype is quite high. The two last met last year and Barcelona lost badly. This is an opportunity to turn things around if today Xavi will maximize his full squad. I don't think Bayern Munich is easy to beat. Because this club is one of the most difficult clubs to beat.

There are definitely some interesting matches happening this evening. Liverpool vs. Ajax is interesting because Liverpool is already under quite a lot of pressure because they lost their first match with 1-4 against Napoli and if they are not victorious today again i think it will begin to become uncomfortable for Klopp slowly but surely.
The match Bayern Munich vs. FC Barcelona is probably one of the most prestigious matches that can happen in the world of football. Barca this year is definitely stronger than the squad of last year so it will be a very close match in my opinion. Bayern also some trouble at the moment because they had  3 draws in a row now in the Bundesliga.

RBR deserved the win but what a joke from FIA with the safety car and the virtual safety car

The last laps of the race yesterday were really pretty weird to watch and of course also pretty underwhelming in terms of excitement and racing. That being said i think it is pretty easy to blame the FIA now for that decision, but just imagine how big the criticism for them would have been if they would restarted the race in a hurry and to early and then a major accident would have happened. They chose the safe alternative and even though it was not exciting, i don't think they deserve all that blame that they get now.
Also it is really not like Leclerc was cheated out of a win or something as Verstappen completely dominated the race and deserved that victory yesterday, as you already said.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This makes sense or not? on: September 12, 2022, 02:45:10 PM
Hi Fam, I am new to crypto investment and crypto mining, I have a plan in mind with this upcoming merge, just tell me if it's bad or not, I plan to sell all my bags after the merge because I believe there will be a massive sell off, and I will buy back at a lower price, is this making sense or not.

Well i can't really tell you for sure if your plan is a good one or not because, just like the rest of the people in here, i can not look into the future to see what will happen to the price of Ethereum once the merge happened. I can give you my best guess though. The first price movement already happened because of the merge when the news became public that it will happen sooner than most people expected which means in a few days now. Back then the price shot up to almost 2000$ per Ether.
Now ETH is running sideways again for the last few weeks. I think the merge itself will not have a big immediate impact on the price. I don't think there will be a instant massive sell off.

There is lot of penalties which mixed grid, but in such track like Monza, especially when it's just 5 position penalty for Verstappen. Well deserved pole for Leclerc, especially because he won it himself and not after penalty of Verstappen. Solid performance of De Vries, he outqualified GOATifi in his first ever qualification.

Yeah this weekend is pretty confusing with all the starting grid penalties for so many different drivers. I am kinda surprised that Verstappen gets yet another penalty even though he already had one last weekend. I don't really understand why Red Bull was not replacing that part also during the last weekend to just get 1 penalty on 1 weekend instead of 2 in a row now.
Still position 7 for Verstappen is still OK for him i would say. He can easily finish the race on the podium this way and his lead in the championship is already so big that I don't think Leclerc can do everything about that anymore. So Verstappen just needs to finish every race and he is fine.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 11, 2022, 11:33:32 AM
hello I have seen the best profits to be made are in projects like shiba inu before it became huge or currently on BSC and ETH chain on new projects.
There have been People who with the help of bnb chain even turned 50$ into 150k$ in a months time.

You need to be aware that even though it is true that stuff like that happened in the crypto space before were people became rich in a very short amount of time even though their initial investment was very little, this is not happening often and you need to be very lucky to invest in one of those projects before they become big. There are hundreds of new tokens created each and every week and probably less than 1 out of 100 will become big. So the chances of losing your investment completely are way higher obviously than making a x100 or even more out of your initial investment. So don't expect to get rich in the crypto space. The majority of the people are not that successful.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 10, 2022, 11:22:07 PM
Unfortunate 92nd min penalty for Stuttgart means Bayern drew 3rd league game in a row. It was a 50-50 penalty as I'd say the decision was correct and VAR helped but I've seen plays like that not being awarded a foul at all. De Ligt messed it up and stepped on the attacker's ankles while he shot it off target. Very unfortunate.

Definitely unfortunate for Bayern Munich and also De Ligt personally, but i would not blame him to much for that foul. He wanted to block the shot of the attacker and then even after the shot he slightly stepped on the foot of the attacker so very very unfortunate but not really a stupid or uneccessary foul by De Ligt.
To only get 1 point after being still ahead after 90 minutes is very unlucky of course but Bayern just did not play well today.
The funny thing is that Freiburg could move ahead 3 points now of Bayern and Dortmund if they win against Gladbach tomorrow. That will be pretty hard though. Union Berlin could also become the new leader of the table.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana a good investment in this 2022? on: September 10, 2022, 11:17:57 PM
Some analysts predict solana will soar in 2022, will it actually happen? considering the crypto inflation.

Some analysts say Solana will pump like crazy soon, some analysts say it will stay relatively stable in the near and mid term future and other analysts finally say that Solana will go down in terms of the price. To be honest i really would not give those analysts to much credit. Especially if they are just crypto influencers because 99% of them are not neutral, they just want to shill their own bag. In most cases they get access to investments into the seed or private round of a new project, which means they get the tokens way cheaper than normal people once the token becomes tradeable and for that they need to shill this project obviously.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 10, 2022, 03:43:11 PM
Lol, who would have thought that Stuttgart would hold Bayern Munich to a draw and even, it wasn't 0-0 and 1-1 but Stuttgart could score 2 goals against Bayern Munich and at the same time end the match with a score of 2-2.

Man Bayern is really not performing well for there standards in the Bundesliga in the last couple of weeks. I mean their first draw against Gladbach was still completely unlucky for them because in that game they had enough clear chances to score at least 5 or even more goals but they just were not efficient enough.
Today was different though as Bayern only had like 3 or 4 good chances and they made 2 goals out of that so the efficiency of Bayern was totally ok today. They just were not as dominant today as they are usually. Even though the draw was pretty lucky for Stuttgart because they scored the second goal in the extra time, it is still a result that is absolutely ok.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 10, 2022, 03:35:49 PM

I don't think that Terra Luna Classic will continue to rise in price i mean in the end it is an abandoned project. I also don't really know what has caused the recent pump of Terra classic but it really had some incredibly high volume on the exchanges. One reason for that high volume is that most trading bots that are offered by Kucoin and Binance were running on a Terra Classic/stablecoin pair because the votality was high and the volume was also incredibly high which is always good for bots.
Now the new Terra Luna started to pump yesterday and i heavily doubt that both Terra versions will pump at the same time. I think Terra Classic will go down again in the next days and weeks.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 09, 2022, 10:06:02 PM
Manchester City were favorites for the Champions League title in the last two seasons. Their performances were quite stable and their squad was quite strong. Yet they are hopeful. Manchester City's fortunes have always been on the Champions League platform. Manchester City has a strong squad this season as well. And they are in very good form. Even then we cannot guarantee that Manchester City will do well in the Champions League. But hopefully, we will see Manchester City in the final this season.

The problem with the Champions League is that just because you have the strongest team and are showing the strongest performances over the whole season does not automatically mean that you are also winning the trophy. As you already said Manchester City was the big favorite to win the Champions League in the last two years already but they just could not get the job done. Especially last season was very unlucky for them. They totally dominated Real Madrid and should have already been 2 or 3 goals in front before the big comeback of Real happened in the over time of the game. In the end you also need luck to win the CL trophy.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Queen Elizabeth and Cryptocurrency on: September 09, 2022, 10:02:42 PM
The longest-reigning British monarch Queen Elizabeth died at the age of 96 in Balmoral Castle. She was born in 1926. During her lifetime money is not at all an issue for her. Being the Queen of the Royal Family of the World could've impacted the market if she have made some statement relative to cryptocurrency. Once she received a blockchain journal and this made discussions of the Royal Family holding bitcoin.
After her death, the same is being used as an opportunity and meme coin creators have made 40+ tokens on the ethereum and Binance Smart Chain. Few of which are

I doubt that the Queen had any connections to the crypto currency world at all. Just because she once recieved a blockchain journal does not mean a thing. She was probably doing hundreds of public happenings each year for 70 years now so she probably received journals, flyers and so on from probably everything that exist on this planet by now.

Also i think that it is pretty tasteless of people to create sh*t-coins now just in order to make some quick profit with the death of the queen, because that is the only reason why those tokens are created. I hope that no one buys that kind of tokens that would be ethically incorrect.

Ferrari will use special colors for the home GP, remembering an anniversary.
I Like It.

I also think that these paint job with the yellow numbers and letters looks great. They should keep this for the rest of the season. I mean it would totally fit to the yellow logo of Ferrari. Regarding the race itself i expect Red Bull to be the strongest team again. Monza is a course where you need cars that have a high top speed and Red Bull is great at that this season. Ferrari is also good at that so if they manage to make no stupid mistakes this weekend then maybe they can battle Verstappen and Red Bull for the win this time.
Mercedes on the other hand should be weaker this weekend as their car is better for tracks with fast corners and not so long straights.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 09, 2022, 10:27:34 AM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.

That is definitely possible. To turn 100$ into 7000$ means a x70 of your initial investment. That is quite a huge number of course but still it is possible. In order to achieve returns like that you have to take a pretty huge risk though in my opinion because you won't get a x70 of your investment on altcoin projects that are already big and established like Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos and so on. You have to pick a new and upcoming project for that. This also means of course that the risk of of a loss of your investment even all of your investment is very much possible. There are so many new projects out there that it is very hard to pick the right one.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2022, 09:16:00 PM
Last season Leipzig beat Dortmund with two wins 2-1 and 1-4, but for this season's match Leipzig will play Dortmund with their new coach. To be honest I personally would doubt Leipzig this match and I have no hesitation in betting for Dortmund to win, apart from the new coach Leipzig's performance so far this season has not been good. So yes, even though Leipzig will play at home, it doesn't look like Leipzig can beat Dortmund. On the other hand, Dortmund will certainly avenge their defeat last season, because losing two matches last season was really bad for Dortmund so at this moment Dortmund will certainly win the match as a way to take revenge.

I won't place a bet on this match because i am just not sure what will happen but i have to say that if i would have to place a bet i would go with a win of RB Leipzig and there are several reasons for that. First of all the obvious effect that most changes of coaches have. That was the same when Tedesco came to Leipzig last year. They started winning then and played the best second half of the season of any Bundesliga team.
Secondly i think that all the performances of Dortmund so far in this Bundesliga season were pretty weak. Their last game in the Champions League was their best by far but in the Bundesliga they were extremely lucky to have so many points now. They could have easily 6 points less now.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't be buying Eth until the merge is completed things are running fine on: September 08, 2022, 09:12:54 PM
Is this ideal or let me use the word most suitable, I plan not to buy Ethereum until the merge is complete because..

I am also not quite sure what to expect from Ethereum, not only in the near future but also in the long term one. I am not that deep into all the coding stuff and therefore i am no expert in what that merge really will bring execpt from the fact that Ethereum will no longer be a proof of work coin but a proof of stake coin then. I do think though that many users may have exaggerated expectations to that merge and what it will mean in regards to transfer fees on the ETH chain.
I can imagine that some people could sell off their ETH if they realise that the merge did not have the impact on the transfer fees that they would have expected.
On the other hand ETH is so big now that i think it is almost impossible that it will lose relevance and that it won't be a top 5 coin in a few years anymore or something like that.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: September 08, 2022, 10:19:22 AM
I was so right about Liverpool about a bad performance with Napoli and they had no answer to Napoli last night and I'm afraid they will have small chances to get out of groups. Maybe for some fans of Liverpool this will sound harsh but it's just the truth about how current team of Liverpool are playing on the pitch. Also , what is Klopp doing ? He lost a bit of his passion it seems.

I think that Klopp is one of the best coaches in the world of football because he is able to really improve the performance of every team that he is coaching. Those teams are then performing stronger then the squads actually are. In my opinion he is able to do this because he is just such a nice dude that gets along so well with everyone and he is a great communicator. This means that his players are really giving 100% for him in every match. This was the case at Borussia Dortmund where a team of no-names was able to win the Bundesliga title two times in a row and reach the final of the Champions League.
Now it is the same with Liverpool. He made a mediocre Premier League to a club win the league and even the Champions League.
If a team always has to give 100% in order to be successful though there is only a very small margin for things that can go wrong before the team stops being successful, which is now the case at the moment.
