321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 05:02:23 PM
Given the performances I've seen from Chelsea players in the last few matches, I don't think Chelsea will be able to take any home advantage against Real Madrid. The Madrid team is very strong and organized. In the first leg match against Chelsea, we only saw Real Madrid's dominance. Chelsea's performance was very poor. Madrid won this match by 2-0 margin. And the important thing is that Chelsea managed only 7 shots in this match. Chelsea will not be able to break down Madrid's defense if this poor attacking performance continues. I decided to bet Madrid to win the second leg.

For me the chances of FC Chelsea to advance into the next round are just as slim, or even non-existent, as the one of Bayern Munich tomorrow. While FC Chelsea is "only" 2 goals behind against Real Madrid for me the performances of Chelsea in the last few games were even weaker than the ones of Bayern Munich. Real totally dominated them in the first leg and could have scored even more goals, while Bayern Munich was at least at the same level with ManCity until they conceded the second goal, after that they completely fell apart.
That being said, this is football and if Chelsea is able to go into the halftime break with a 1-0 lead then everything is possible again because even Real will get nervous when they are in the 80th minute with a 1-0 for Chelsea.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ppl are rushing towards the ever evolving arbitrum block chain on: April 18, 2023, 04:58:13 PM
Dex has brought a drastic change in the world of crypto. It has played a significant role in uplifting the crypto economy by developing trust among users. By ensuring security and safety It has almost replaced cex. If the  Dex exchange continue, crypto will emerge as the most powerful economic tool in the world in the coming years. FTX victims and many other who deposited their money in hope of return and got nothing from cex platform in different projects are case in point. But there is always ray of hope in the darkness and this time we have oscar swap with its unique version of dex. oscar is based on Arbitrum that ensures less fee and high speed transactions. It is the fusion of all the emerging systems like Dex and arbitrum in crypto to produce better results.

At the moment Arbitrum is definitely the hottest ethereum layer 2 solution out there. They are still having a lot of attention at the moment because of that huge airdrop that they did that brought tens of thousands users tokens worth 1000$ or more. Then a few days ago i have read a statement somewhere that the TVL on the Arbitrum chain was higher than the TVL of Ethereum itself. This is absolutely makes sense to me, because now that the market is making stronger movements again the fees on the native ethereum chain are already up at 60 gwei again, which is just way to high. A uniswap trade costs 25$ at the moment.

Since being handled by Tuchel, Bayern Munich's condition has not been stable. Yes I think the Bavarian's chances in the Champions League are getting tougher because they are 3-0 behind Manchester City.

Similar conditions also occur in the domestic league, they are surprisingly also eliminated in the DFB Pokal. Now Bayern only has a chance in the Bundesliga, but if you look at the standings table, Tuchel needs to work hard to maintain his top position. The draw that was obtained against Hoffenheim is certainly not something to be proud of, because the gap with Dortmund who is in second place is only two points left.

The performance of Bayern Munich was not stable before Thomas Tuchel became their new coach too. That was the main reason, why Julian Nagelsmann was fired. Of course now it seems like that change does not have any effect, but Thomas Tuchel is the last one to blame for that. In such a short amount of time he just can not really learn a new system or playstyle to the team. He has to work with what was there before. Even though Bayern Munich showed a pretty weak performance on Saturday against Hoffenheim it still feels like Borussia Dortmund was the big loser of this past matchday because they received the equalizer so late.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 16, 2023, 02:05:57 PM
The problem about Chslea for both players, Gavi and Osimhen is both players are attractive targets for many other teams but regarding Gavi, I don't think if Barcelona will lose this player easily because they have an 18-year-old player who can have a shining future and Osimhen can have much better options than Chelsea.

It seems like Osimhen will be the most wanted player in the transfer period that will come after this season. A lot of the biggest clubs will be interested to sign him. The last weeks made pretty obvious, that Bayern Munich for example really needs a world class number 9 again after Robert Lewandowski went to Barca. Thomas Tuchel is already looking for great strikers that could join Bayern for the next season and Osimhen is probably his personal favorite together with Kolo Muani from Frankfurt.  I don't know if Real Madrid is also wanting to sign Osimhen this summer, because Benzema still has a contract for one more year and i doubt that Benzema or Osimhen would be happy to sit on the bench.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: April 16, 2023, 01:59:07 PM
I hear a lot of voices saying that BTC's price will go through the roof when the monetary system goes down.
I've heard predictions of BTC going 4x in 2024. Others say 33x in years to come.
Is there any estimated guess on how high Ethereum can go?

I am not really a crypto expert but if you ask me then i would say that in terms of future growth potential, then i think that ETH has still more room to grow than Bitcoin. The reason for my opinion is quite simple. Bitcoin already did a x30000 or even more since it's very early days. Ethereum on the other also already did around a x7000 based on it's ico price. So there is still a factor of 4 between them at the moment.
That fact alone though does not necessarily mean though that ETH will really grow more in the future than BTC because Bitcoin still is and probably always will be the big lead indicator for the whole crypto space. So it is also possible in my opinion that BTC will outperform most of the altcoins in the future. It is really hard to tell.

Stuttgart - Dortmund was a pretty surprising game considering the ending. Who could have thought that Dortmund wouldn't make use of a huge advantage like that?

For a neutral spectator i would say that the match between Vfb Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund today was probably one of the most exciting one to watch in the last few years. I agree with you, that probably no one thought during the half time break, that Stuttgart would have any chance to come back into this game because they were two goals behind and even had one player less on the field already. The team of Stuttgart showed some great morale and passion though in the second half and in the end i think the draw as a totally deserved result. Dortmund was better in the first half and Stuttgart in the second one.
Of course Dortmund should have never let Stuttgart back into the game, that was completely their fault and also completely unnecessary.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Meme Coins? on: April 15, 2023, 08:27:50 PM
Meme coins are digital currencies that get their inspiration from the Internet and social media jokes and memes. Dogecoin was the first meme currency produced (DOGE). A Japanese Shiba Inu dog meme known as Doge served as the basis for the 2013 parody DOGE.
Meme coins frequently exhibit considerable volatility. They are primarily driven by the community and can become well-known overnight as a result of FOMO and online community recommendations. However, when investors start looking at the next meme coin, their price may suddenly drop.

First of all, it is pretty obvious that this is just a pretty badly hidden shill post for your exchange, but i don't really have a problem with that. The crypto space is still pretty much the wild west and a little bit of bad shilling is really not the worst that is going on here. To the topic of meme-coins. For me they are all just shitcoins that have no purpose. I can still understand, that a lot people are liking Dogecoin because it was the first of it's kind and really just created for fun it seems. All the other stupid meme-coins that were coming out since then and especially since Elon Musk made that tweets were simply created because the people behind it want to make a quick buck without any effort.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 15, 2023, 05:28:51 PM
Wow, Bayern Munich and Dortmund look compact because they both ended the match with a draw, even though the opponents they faced were teams in the bottom zone. But it seems that Heffenheim and Stuttgart are playing with great effort, so that makes it difficult for the top teams to win in this match.

So yes, I can assume Bayern Munich or maybe Tuchel get lucky in this moment. Because if they have bad luck, then of course Dortmund will win and then overtake Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga standings. So yes, Bayern Munich had good luck, but bad luck for Dortmund.

I agree here. Even though Thomas Tuchel is very disappointed today with the performance of his team, which he also confirmed during the post game interviews, it still feels like Borussia Dortmund is the big loser of this match day so far. They were 2-0 ahead against Stuttgart already and they even had 1 player more for the most part of the game. Then after the 2-2 of Stuttgart they even managed to get in front again in the 93rd minute, but still they gave away another chance to Stuttgart after that and the game ended with a draw. That was a great performance and demonstration of will of Stuttgart but still Dortmund should have not given them a chance to get back into the game.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 15, 2023, 05:25:40 PM
The only reasonable (albeit dubious) option is that Firmino is a temporary option until Real Madrid poach a new top striker like Mbappe/Haaland. Benzema will be at Real Madrid for another year but if this year is like this one when he missed a lot of games, then Real without a second striker will suffer a lot - that's what Firmino will be hired for (if will). And by the way, yes, Latino players retire early on average, so he doesn't have much time ahead of him.

I doubt that Real Madrid is really considering to sign Firmino as their replacement for Karim Benzema when he leaves the club after the next season. Don't get me wrong Roberto Firmino is a great player that showed great performances in every club that he has played for so far, but i don't really think that he is really an absolute world class striker. He also is already 31 years old, so he is definitely no young player anymore. If Real is considering to sign him, then i only think as a back-up for Benzema for the coming season and then for the striker that comes to replace Benzema, but not as the number 1 attacker.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 14, 2023, 08:40:53 PM
4-2 at the moment for Schalke, those points are extremely important for Schalke.  4 goals is already quite a lot. It seems that Schalke has been able to recharge for this match, but things can still go wrong in the 2nd half of course. This is perhaps Schalke's most important game this season. There are more important games to come, but everyone can still be relegated there in the lower regions of the Bundesliga. This could not go wrong anymore for Schalke, could it ?

In the end the final result was a 5-2 for Schalke. I could not watch that game live but looking at the statistics it seems like Schalke was not as dominant as the final result may suggest. In terms of shots, ball possession and passes both teams were pretty much at the same level. Schalke only has a real lead in the expected goal, which is a very important statistics of course.
Overall the win for Schalke seems deserved even though maybe 1 or 2 goals too high. At the moment Schalke is in a spot for the relegation, which is already a huge success for them. I would bet that a few months no one thought that they would be able to have a chance to stay in the Bundesliga.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumping ground on: April 14, 2023, 08:36:53 PM
Many altcoins are dumping ground, after the project is launched people invest massively on it, they will carry out a burn and the burn will have no meaningful bulls and then àfter a while the project became dormant like one and only Africa project called "wakanda" I guess many are victims and aware of this falsehood and fake project.

Please which altcoin is currently the hotcake with bright future ahead?

I also noticed recently that there were a lot of projects launching in the last few weeks and months that had quite a lot of hype and also a pretty big and successful seed and private sale but once they were launched the price and also the whole mood within the project went down slowly but surely. I don't really know why this happens that often because none of those projects that i observed that slowly died were useless meme-coins some of them were even pretty good in my opinion.
I think that a big part of the problem is the mentality of the investors. It is all about a quick pump and dump for most people. If a project does not do a x2 or more right after listing then it is already a fail in the eyes of a lot of people, because they don't have patience anymore.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 14, 2023, 10:55:43 AM
It's high time Harry Kane exits Tottenham Hotspur because he's yet to lift a club trophy with the club and he's a lengthy player in the club. Manchester united have the rate to matchup the price tag of the English international, the same thing applies to the Bavarians. Harry Kane Working under different managers with absolute no cup trophy for the club is tragedy. The fans are spotting the critical problem is to be from the board, because there's alot of sketchy things rounding up in the club. Jose Mourinho and Anthonio Conte were the only two managers that spoke out and clear the air about the view of the club, no good chemistry between the players and the club board is corrupt, gambling with game results.

I am not sure if Tottenham would really be happy to make a direct competitor in the premier League stronger by letting Harry Kane go to Manchester United. Usually clubs don't want to do that. So if Kane really does not want to stay at Tottenham any longer, then i am pretty sure, that the club would prefer if Kane would leave to a club outside of England, but of course it is also important where the player himself wants to go.
Regarding a move from Kane to Bayern. I think it is still possible, but i think at the moment other strikers like Kolo Muani and Osimhen are the favorites of the Bayern Munich officials. This makes sense in my opinion because both of those players will roughly cost the same as Kane, maybe a little more, but they are both 5 years younger.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: April 14, 2023, 10:46:26 AM
Mine was BNB, ETH, RNDR, ARB. What about you guys? What do you keep following or watching these days? and why?

At the moment pretty much every crypto project is making some gains, so it is pretty hard to pick a favorite simply based on the rising prices. In the last few weeks i bought a little bit of Cosmos (Atom) and NEAR. I simply wanted to have some pretty big and already established projects in my portfolio too, because before i only had pretty small and new projects and obviously with such projects you are always in danger of losing all of your investment.
I chose Cosmos and NEAR because in my opinion they have still big potential to grow and at the same time they are giving me passive income through staking and that was important to me.
Radix could also be a good pick. It  already pumped like 30% in the last few days but it seems to just have started to gain some traction.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 13, 2023, 08:59:37 PM
HALF TIME
Bayer Leverkusen 0 - 0 Royale Union SG
Juventus 0 - 0 Sporting CP
Manchester Utd 2 - 0 Sevilla

A lot has happened in the second half of those games. Leverkusen vs. Union SG has ended with a draw 1-1. I have to say that i am very impressed by the performance of that Belgian team. In the end Bayer Leverkusen was the better team but over the whole course of the game the 1-1 was a deserved result. I would guess that players like Teuma and especially Boniface will go to bigger clubs after this season.
Also the match between Manchester and Sevilla just ended with a 2-2 as the final result. Manchester scored two own goals in the second half which is pretty crazy. Looking at the stats of the game, the result also seems to be ok though, as both teams have very similar statistics in terms of shots and ball possession.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 13, 2023, 08:49:16 PM
*If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency that will make me a billionaire, Which one do you think would be a better choice, besides BTC and Eth of which I have grown accustomed to?
*What advice would you give me?

First of all 40k$ is a very big amount of money for your first investment into crypto, so congratz to have that many funds to invest. My very first advice would be to only invest those 40k$ if you can afford to lose them and if you really don't need them for your daily life. In crypto it is still very much possible that you will lose all of your funds because of a hack, a rugpull or whatever.
Also i would not expect to become a billionaire, if you have such high expectations then you will only be disappointed. To become a billionair your investment would need to make a x25000. I heavily doubt that this will happen.

I personally invested into NEAR and Cosmos in the last few weeks because i think they have potential to grow.

Sadio Mané and Leroy Sané both got engage into a fight in the dressing room after their Champions League game against Man City. Because of his misconduct, Mane has received a one-game ban from Bayern Munich. For this reason he will not be in the squad for upcoming Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim. Nevertheless, both players have regret for their misconduct though. If there's more to this story, it has to be investigated.

That seems to be a pretty big happening now in the world of sports in Germany. I watched some sportsnews tv channel today and they pretty much reported non stop about that incident for at least 2 hours straight, even though nothing new really happened. To be honest i was pretty surprised, that Mane would do such a thing because he was always considered as such a nice and gentle guy, that is always smiling and also helping the people in his country and so on.
Seems like he is way more unhappy with his current role in the club that most people have guessed.
The truth is that he needs to perform better, if he wants to play more. At the moment he is just not playing well.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 13, 2023, 04:36:42 PM
Today Olympiacos has terminated the contract with James Rodriguez and after the news spread, now James Rodriguez has been rumored by two teams from Turkey, namely Galatasarry and Besiktas. However, at the age of 31, James can still be competitive in Europe's top 5 leagues. It's just that after leaving Real Madrid in 2020 his future became abysmal and he has often moved between clubs until now. With a market value that is relatively cheap, there should be a top European team that wants to bring him at this time. But indeed, with such a bad career, of course, many teams are considering the decision to recruit him.

To be honest i am pretty sad about the turn that James Rodriguez' career took in the last few years. After the world cup in 2014 he was probably one of the hottest and most wanted players of the world because he played so well in the world cup and he also scored that beautiful goal is still replayed pretty often even today. After that he joined Real Madrid and he also played for Bayern Munich for 2 years.
It is weird to me that now he was playing for a club in qatar and Olympiakos Piräus in the last few years because he is only 31 years old now, so he is still in his best years in my opinion. Clubs in Turkey are usually a good candidate for players with a big name, that are not really at their best level anymore, so it would make sense, but it would also be sad.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 06:33:37 PM
In Real Madrid's match with Chelsea, we rather assume that Real Madrid will handle it very well, judging by Mentality and also performance I think Real Madrid is far superior to Chelsea, this will be the perfect opportunity for Real Madrid, although at the moment Chelsea also has a good mentality and Real Madrid I think is a tough rival for him, so far maybe Cheslea's performance has been bad this season in the primary league, and they have to prepare their mentality to face Real Madrid who have so far been very consistent with their performance.

I also think, that Real Madrid is the favorite against FC Chelsea tonight. Madrid is playing at home today which always is a little bit of an advantage even though the Real fans are most of the time not that supportive if the team is not playing well, it wants to be entertained by good football. Besides that i think that Real is just the team, that has way more experience in this competition in comparison to the team of Chelsea. Somehow Real always manages to show good performances in the Champions League, even though they are not the big favorites to win the competition, the same thing was happening last year.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 12, 2023, 06:30:30 PM

I believe everyone on this forum has made both good and bad decisions in terms of investing in altcoins. I recently made a mistake buying a lot of Dogecoins after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo into the Doge logo. Price was surging and due to FOMO, I bought a lot at the price of $0.099 and afterwards it started to dump like hell. If I continue to hold Dogecoins, the price might be dumping even lower but if I sell them now, the losses become concrete and I'll never have a chance to win back. Have you ever had the same experience ? What did/would you do ?

Well one of the rules of crypto investing always was "buy the rumor, sell the news" which means that most of the time it is to late if you buy a coin after they have released some big news. You need to buy them before those news become public, that is not possible in most cases though if you are not an insider. So you at least need to be very fast once the big news are hitting. If the news are already 1hour old or even older i would not buy anymore.
Losses only become a reality when you sell those coins. So if you can afford to hold them longer, then i would definitely do that. If a new bull market comes, then Dogecoin will definitely pump together with the rest of the market and you can sell your tokens then.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XLM - yes or no? on: April 12, 2023, 12:16:17 PM
Hi,
I am looking for a new position to start DCA into while prices are low and thinking of XLM.
Be good to hear thoughts on XLM, both good and bad?

I had a few XLM myself until i sold them one year ago or so. Since then i am not really following the developments around XLM anymore to be honest, but as the other guy in the thread has already said, it seems to be pretty quiet around Stellar Lumens at the moment. That does not really mean though that this project is not active anymore. It is still in the top 25 in terms of the market cap, so it is still a very big project and to be that you have to be active. When the next bull market and the next altcoin season are coming, then i am pretty sure, that XLM will also pump together with the overall market. I am not sure though if it will outperform the general market.
