1543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 28, 2014, 01:10:36 AM
puh for a second I thought my short at 474 would get squeezed

I'll see where this goes now from the sidelines
You shorted at $474? Are you fckin nuts?

Same was said to those who shorted at 1000, 800 and 600. 10K by spring yadda yadda. No one should be listening to bulltards right now.
The point is that you don't sell DURING the crash, when a bounce could happen at any time. You sell BEFORE the crash right after a bulltrap when there is low volume and everything is fizzling out and all the indicators are going down.

Yeah. I dont see anything wrong with shorting if you think its going down, but shorting after/"during" the drop is just unnecessary risk.

And so it goes.  500 wall just pulled out--about 2K at once.

Wall wasnt pulled, it go eaten. About 2k of the 500 wall was pulle hours ago. But nothing pulled during the dump.
1547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 11:05:47 PM

1548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 10:49:52 PM
i was able to stop smoking bitcoins for 2 days then i totally lost it, i had to have me some bits.

lmfao

---

Ask wall pulled -- will it be dumped? :O

You guys are strange while taking any kind of discussion about Bitcoin with Jorge. He never owed one, he says he never will, his "whateveritiscalled" Chinese and Bitstamp predictions are crap, all in all his views are worthless.
Lol, I offered to give him 1XBT, he turned it down equating it to crack.

If you're having trouble getting rid of that XBT, I can take good care of it for you. Thanks!
1549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Aggregate bidsum? on: March 27, 2014, 08:16:39 PM
Huobi depth is wrong since it only shows a small range.

Bitfenix depth is wrong because it can be faked

BTC-China depth is almost static, but has dropped about 20% in asks and 40% in bids in a month

BTC-E depth is too small (and not rising) to matter

Other chinese exchanges - Huh

Eur exchanges - way too small to matter

So in the end, Bitstamp speaks for all exchanges when it comes to visible bid/ask depth.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FLAP] FlappyCoin ★ 0 Premined ★ TRADED ON CRYPTSY ★ GAME INSIDE WALLET on: March 27, 2014, 07:15:05 PM
Can anyone send a tweet to Dong and ask him about FlappyCoin ?

You all need to understand what you're asking Dong (the original FlappyBird developer) to do... he can't simply plug FlappyCoin into his game!

The wallet is not even designed to scale up to thousands of users with tens of thousands of transactions. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Accounts_explained#Account_Weaknesses

To implement any crypto-currency he would require major back-end database infrastructure supporting millions of users and countless transactions between those users every minute or even second... a very complex and costly thing to setup. At present he has zero back-end requirements and is making a killing on simple ad clicks with a solely front-end app..

These are just some of the reasons why there are no mobile games out there that currently integrate crypto-currency.

Unless we have a miracle... don't expect this coin to be integrated with the FlappyBird game any time soon!

--ever,

Why would anyone use flappycoin? Seriously. Its crap. Why would the FlappyBird dev give a rats ass about a coin called "Flappy Coin"? Its hard enough to sell Bitcoin to people, but a currency based on a terrible game? LOLOLOL give me a break. ZERO sympathy for flappycoin bagholders.

Its a miracle its still worth 8 litoshi, and there are morons paying 1 satoshi on Cryptsy.

1552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 03:30:56 PM
Double bottom always induce panic buy behind, at least in the book

GO bitcoin !

HOLY FUCK...... I did NOT pull the trigger, and it looks like I am losing my opportunity to buy on coinbase at $515.... maybe we are never gonna return to that price?  The buy price has gone up more than $20 in 15 minutes.... Maybe I will have to settle for some other amount.. possibly $525, since we are kind of hovering?

You're fine.  Should be a dip coming in a minute..
1553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 03:06:49 PM
2nd set of orders missed for 40 cents  Undecided

You shouldnt place your orders behind whales. Always put them a few cents up.

I haven't really looked at walls, did it this morning just before sleep without much thinking. I shouldn't put it below 505, these 5-10 numbers usually have some bids, yeah. But I bought some at 514 I sold at 550 bottom few days ago minutes before it bounced to 590 after buying at 560 earlier so it's ok.

Yeah, Ive done the same thing. So if I ever want to trade, I always check the walls. And once the price nears my bids, I check again in case some dickmuncher put a wall in front of my hill
But congrats on the good calls Smiley

holy shit 400s HERE WE COME

I think 500 will HODL for now..

Pretty sure an ask wall was dumped (which is good) but without BTCCharts working its hard to say.
1556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 02:32:04 PM
We're still above the long term historic support trendline.
It could go as low as the mid 400's until the strong buying support kicks in and we resume the upward trend again:

So everything still within normal parameters.

What is the volume in your chart? Volume in currency? Obviously its not BTCVolume

mmmm come on 400's!

Huh? Why would you want it to go to the 400's?

He sold? Shorted? Duh?
1557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 02:30:17 PM
Bid walsl being pulled, ask walls continue to pile up.
Looks very bad.
1558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 05:18:36 AM
I'm catching up here. Is this what happened?
We were going up, someone spread some fake info, the sheep panic sold, info turns out to be fake, price stays down. Correct?
Another perspective:

We we're going down, hit the minor 540 support into a dead cat bounce, then some sheep started panic buying because of all the latest 'hot news'. Now that the hype is  over, we can resume the downtrend.

I wasn't here too see what happened. I guess the answer is simple. Did the selling start when that China "news" came out?

Amazing how there is so much good news and it does nothing to the price while any person can create a fake tweet or whatever to instantly make the price crash.

Bitstamp was trending down after a failed upward breakout. Couple walls totalling about 1.5kBTC popped up before the China news. Then those walls moved down.

That was about it.
1559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 05:15:28 AM
Im cautiously optimistic.. but all these failed upwards breakouts are becoming hard to bear.

Ask and bid sum seems to be locked on 12m 20k last few days.
1560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 27, 2014, 02:55:41 AM
bitcoin banned - confirmed.

Confirmed by whom? Proof or didn't happen, and not that shitty chinese news site that spread the FUD last time.

Tarmi is a known troll, dont concern yourself. Could it be legit? Yeah. But hes just a FUD spreader.
