To date apart of Litecoin, exist some other currency with a significant scope or providing something extra (features)?
Devcoin has a lot of potential, and just had its 2nd birthday. You can buy them on Vircurex and invest them on Cryptostocks.

My giveaway in honor of Devcoin's 2nd anniversary ended last night. All new subscribers were sent 2,000 DVC. Two who weren't completely opted in were sent 1,000 and will be sent the remaining 1,000 after they complete the opt-in process (my email list service seemed to be having technical difficulties). I'm now holding an essay contest with a modest DVC prize awarded to the winner. Details can be found here: http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=announcing_the_dvc_essay_contestI'm looking forward to reading the entries Happy Birthday Devcoin!

I've decided to extend my DVC Second Anniversary giveaway as indicated in the following quote: This special has been extended. It is now good until Midnight Eastern Standard Time August 8. Also, for some reason (most likely ISP filtering) it seems to take a while for the confirmation message to reach you. If you haven't gotten it after 12 hours (and it's not in your email spam folder), feel free to try subscribing again. If you haven't confirmed by Midnight EST August 8, I will send half the DVCs in the next day, and the other half once you confirm your subscription and you are fully opted in. Thanks so much for participating

As a general FYI, I have bought into the P2PDVC bond over the past month at a range of 100.4 to 100.6 a share. The price hasn't changed all that much. I see no evidence that it's being pumped. I'm not super thrilled with the return (it's low) but it seems to be a stable asset so good for capital preservation and a little bit of growth. I like the daily payouts too. low risk/low reward One question/concern I have about it is that if you look at the order book, it appears that there are sell orders that are way larger than the entire issue of shares, which is at 20,000. EDIT: Oops, read that wrong--it's 20,000,000 shares issued so the sell orders make more sense. How does that work?ASCMDVCPT is the best asset I've encountered as far as return. For what you put into it, you get a lot more out in dividends, but the price jumps up and down a lot more so you could lose if you try to sell at the wrong time. That doesn't bother me too much as I buy and hold. higher risk/higher reward I'm glad that there are these DVC securities, especially when the DVC price is low like it is now. I'd love to see more of them

Is there a reason you require an inputs.io email? Fishing site anyone? I ain't scared of no newbie, I gots all da security. Hey Mooshire! You don't really need to put in an email. Username should work as well. Ex. you can just put in Mooshire, which is already in your signature anyways, :p. Actually, it does have to be an email, because it's an email list. But... if you're worried, it can be any email address you want (or one connected to an empty inputs wallet--you can get as many as you want for free).

Not trying to phish (wouldn't know how). It's just that inputs.io allows one to send around small transactions without having to pay fees, so if I ever wanted to send subscribers random small BTC gifts for random reasons, using inputs.io addresses seemed like a good way to go about it

Awesome idea. Thanks!
I actually got the idea of using inputs.io from you--I clicked through the link in your signature line and liked what I saw
