What is the total outstanding coins? Can someone with a synced wallet post the getinfo?
what is the full command line? Never mind, got it here. My wallet is not staking at the moment. It's telling me I don't have mature coins. Is that because it cycled through all my mature coins already? I've been mining so adding small amounts of coin fairly continuously. So it doesn't make sense to me that I wouldn't have some amount of coin that's eligible for staking atm. Is this normal? If it's not, then I definitely want to do what I need to fix it before the growth week.
EDIT: It started staking again. I guess it's an off/on thing...

On page 36 or 37 there are some instructions from Cryptzo for a forced sync. Take a look and try it I have the new wallet, but it seems to be stuck at block 4467. How can I get it to sync?

If I had to take a flying guess I'd say we're looking at a final tally of 800 seed. But that is just a guess.
Just the thought of getting my virtual hands on more than one of a coin that is rarer than Bitcoin is exciting. The possibility of those few growing to several thousand of said coin that is still scarcer than Bitcoin is... really, really exciting. We're about halfway through the mining phase. I hope everything goes well this week and next.

Stakers will be happy to know that there are currently 21 fewer coins on the network than there would be without staking.
Current moneysupply: 507.56542418 Supply w/o staking: 538.56
That means there's been 210 staked blocks approved on the network.
With that kind of scarcity SEED ought to trade for way more than one BTC each. I imagine as we get closer to the week of growth it will be harder to pick them up on the exchange as people will be moving SEED to their QT clients to take advantage of the 269 percent growth.

Just got my first staking reward. Yay! Of course it's tiny because we're only at 1 percent. That was a GREAT idea to have staking functionality well before the big week of growth. That way we can all go into that week with the confidence that things are working as they should be And because the more staked means less total coins... STAKE PEOPLE! lol Well, I'm definitely not dumping! But if y'all want to stake less and allow me to mine more out, then I'm not going to complain

Nope. I got a warning that it could be malware. I temporarily disabled Chrome's anti-phishing and malware feature to download it. Just double check the link that it is the same one as provided officially here. am i the only one getting a warning from my browser when trying to download the wallet !

That reminds me so much of how I felt when I was getting into NXT (100% POS) early on. Just when I thought everything was working... it wasn't. I'm not sure exactly what your technical issue is, but the main thing to make sure is that you have the updated wallet (see link on first page of this thread). Then if you go back to page 36 or so there is a message from Cryptzo with instructions for how to force the wallet to match the current block. Try those two things. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the client (deleting everything but wallet.dat). Just make sure that you back up your wallet.dat file if you have any coins in your wallet, then install your client in the same location as before. It may just need a fresh start. Hang in there Every time I post that my wallet now works and everything seems to be staking as it should, I soon find out I was wrong. I don't even know what it is going on anymore.

Thanks Cryptzo. My wallet was offline for about a half hour. When I got it back online I see that my weight is now 2 and network weight is 22, with 11 minutes to go for reward (though I realize that's just an estimate which can change each block). Looks to me to be on the right track. I bet things will look rosier in the morning too. I hope you had a good rest.

So my wallet just started staking. It tells me my weight is 1 and expected reward in 15 minutes. But it's been saying that for several minutes. First time. What can I expect?
How many coins do you have? And the time is just going to be off right now. 1 weight will take a while, but depending on how many coins you have, you'll build weight quickly. A bit over 3 seed, but not all has matured. What happens if my Internet connection gets disrupted while I'm staking? If coins are already starting to stake (ex says needs xx confirms to 120 for maturity) the network will continue to confirm the stake. You just can't stake additional coins until your wallet is online again I don't have anything saying x number of confirms. Just that my weight is 1, network weight 21, 21 minutes to reward. That number keeps going up. I'm guessing I'm in some sort of queue. How does going offline impact that status?

Why not just get added to this explorer ----> https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ IMO its the best one out there and would be easier than building your own. Plus it already has lots of extras. Great idea. Seems like it would be easiest, and an explorer is definitely needed and soon...

I too am looking forward to the 265% days, though the mining is awesome right now Can you tell me what you see when your coins are staking? That way I know what to look for tomorrow morning. My wallet is now staking like Van Helsing on speed.
Nice update Dev! Looking forward to the 265% days.

MinerPool is on the right fork now. I unfortunately requested a withdrawal while they were off. Does that mean I've lost those funds forever? Or will they eventually get recovered by the pool--at least the funds which were legitimate?

My wallet is on block 4058. So are Minerpool and LifeForce Pool. If your wallet matches that, then I think you're good.

Apparently there isn't a block explorer for Seed. Is there anyone in this community who is not already tied up with the other development issues who knows how to build one and would be willing to take that on?

wallet wont sync, is this an issue that you guys know about or what up? gets stuck about halfway through.
First, make sure you have the latest version. Go to very first message of this thread to get it. Next, follow the directions below. It worked for me alright. If you're sure you've got the latest wallet, then open up %appdata%/seedcoin and edit seedcoin.conf (make it if you don't already have one) and put the following lines in it:
connect=185.45.192.191 connect=198.144.184.175 connect=199.127.226.221
save the file, close the wallet if it's open, and delete everything in that folder except wallet.dat and seedcoin.conf then start the wallet again.
It will take some time, as you'll be placing the entire burden of syncing on the nodes, and they probably wont allow you to connect right away since you've been on the wrong node, but it will eventually. Once you're all sync'd up then delete those lines from your seedcoin.conf or you wont be able to connect to anyone else on the network.

Is there a working blockchain explorer for seed?
Evidently the one being used on my pool can't even find my address LOL.
