If someone is building up their own T-20 World XI then without any doubt SKY, Pooran and Klassen should be in the roster every single time.
SKY is missing the action but Pooran and Klassen are having a field time in franchise cricket. I hope the latter 2 guys continue this amazing run in the T-20 WC too, as a neutral both are incredibly fun to watch.

It's a done deal for a ridiculously one sided test series but on a funny note, Bangladesh should take a moral victory because they took this match into 5th day  . 5th day action seems like an achievement in recent times. MI vs RR up next! RR won both their matches while MI lost both of their matches and I am expecting the trend to stay the same thanks to RR defeating MI in their own backyard though I could be wrong.

Mumbai is in horrible state ever since Hardick became captain, after replacing Rohit Sharma. That said, I am not sure whether Sandeep Sharma and Chahal will guide Rajasthan to victory. IMO, these two are very ordinary players, who are extremely inconsistent. In fact I am quite surprised that Sandeep has actually managed to find a slot in an IPL franchise all these years. He can be very wayward and expensive at times. For Rajasthan, the strength lies with batting - especially Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shimron Hetmyer. And now the useless Riyan Parag is also in good form. What no "Nopotism" or "Big backing" kind of words, what happened to you? Not the first time Baulty running through the top order. Lots of Indian fans suffer from PTSD because of a few of Bault's spells against the Indian team but here many of them must be having fun. |

He was supposed to debut for LSG last season but got injured, in domestic he played a handful of matches for Delhi's side so overall he's new.
His accuracy with raw pace attracted a fair amount of eyeballs and if in this IPL season, he continues his run with the same intensity then I'd say there is a good chance.
At 21 years of age, he is already struggling with injuries. Given this, I am not sure whether he will be able to play continuously. However one thing that I liked about Mayank Yadav is that he has the rare combination of accuracy and raw pace. Take the case of someone like Umran Malik. He has raw pace, but accuracy is not up to the mark. And as a result, he gets hit all over the park. After yesterday's match, I went back to highlights from Vijay Hazare Trophy. He was really impressive in those matches. That's a biggie but overall he's not fragile and with some care his body can handle the pressure. I'd hope LSG or maybe BCCI might step up and start working on his fitness. The former is already working on it because Gautam Gambhir (Ex LSG chief) picked him up from the Delhi circuit. Also, I'd prefer to save such talent from Delhi's local management, in recent times management has gone from bad to worse and they are hell bent on ruining talent due to politics, that's why many domestic players are ditching Delhi Ranji. |

I hope BCCI fast-track him after the IPL (not in T-20 WC etc) and adds him to the new fast bowlers contract and tries its best to get this kid ready for the upcoming BGT tour of Australia.
Where was this guy? All his balls were unplayable and those that were played ended up giving him wickets. I saw the immense media coverage about him and the fastest ball that he bowled. Will he be part of the T20 contingent for the World Cup or he will stay stuck with IPL this year? Jeez! 146 overs and counting in such heat with no help from the pitch for bowlers and the Lankans are not trying to up the ante with the bat or showing any signs of declaration.
Atm it looks like a typical Subcontinent pitch. One would hope that it's a flat deck for the first 2-3 days and then starts misbehaving and assisting spinners. Hope, it's not going Pindi's way, that would be disappointing.

Dhawan and Bairstow were fantastic with the bat and it looked they would win comfortably at one stage, but their teammates let them down thanks to below average batting performances.

As usual single person carrying the RCB team (i.e, Kohli), team needs passion to win the match and there are very few who have that passion in RCB, others just seem to be there because franchise purchased them, they need to give their money's worth.
KKR is definitely one of strongest team this season, and they are likely to make it to play-offs.
There were several dropped catches from both the team's yesterday, (Narine, how can you?), which leaves me sour taste.
True but here is another point of view. If you take a closer look at 3 important partnerships Kohli was part of (with the likes of Green, Maxwell and DK), you would notice that all three outscored Kohli with much better SR. 180 was below par score at that track, KKR's batting already proved this by spanking RCB bowlers. Had those 3 batters played like Kohli (Anchor role) then RCB's score would have been well short of 165-170-ish. I am sorry to say this, but Virat Kohli will never get the same sort of respect as someone like Mahendra Singh Dhoni or Sachin Tendulkar. As a player, he is equally talented. But his behavior on and off the field has antagonized a lot of people. So I won't be very surprised in case he gets booed by the crowd.

Poor Bangladesh lost a good toss here and now paying the price, atm it looks like a belter of a pitch and for Bongs it'll be a long tiring day at work, possibly 5 full sessions of hard work.

Last fixture of an underrated but full-fledged series. Bongs did win the ODI series but overall they are trailing Lankans 3-4.
Surprisingly, the last test match was dominated by seamers and the margin was quite big but there might be a sign of relief for Bangladesh because Skakib is now in the squad and walks comfortably into the Playing XI and there won't be any surprise if they go back to usual turner for the last match.

KKR are absolutely decimating Bangalore in their own backyard and it looks like my prediction about this match was correct and the homeground streak will finally come to an end.
180 something will never be enough in this particular stadium especially against a team like KKR who have crazy beasts in their batting line-up.
Before this match, every team won their home game and many were expecting this trend to go on, at least for tonight's game but RCB is a revolutionary outfit and always upsets the trend. In fact, it sets a new trend. I Was hoping for some excitement but Narine and Iyer just killed the match for RCB. |

The only thing missing was footage of Gambhir in Dugout, it would've been great cinema if the cameraman had captured his reaction.
