1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: June 06, 2014, 09:00:20 PM
it hasn't gone below $645 yet though. Although now that it did break the support line it is slightly more likely to fall back to $630.

I agree. I am watching for a local bottom around the $630 level. There is fib confluence there with this short term triangle bottom. This could be a good base for a leg up past $700, IMO.

1502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: June 06, 2014, 08:41:15 PM
Support line still holding strong, indicating a 1.85% increase per day if it stays at the lower band.

At the current price that's about $12 per day

Having 10BTC means you could get 3600USD per month potentially tax free Wink

sadly, it has been broken just now, I hope it will recover but it's not looking good at the moment.

Interesting. You were the one who said it would not go below $645 a couple days ago, right? Have you revised that opinion? Cheesy
1503  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10/21 EMA has crossed! Weekly MACD set to cross up! Full Moon in 7 days! on: June 06, 2014, 08:37:46 PM
I must admit, it concerns me to see so many bulls. On the one hand, most people can't be right.

Bingo. At the very least, I think we need to shake out some of the exuberance. We could make a .382 or .5 correction down and feel a lot of despair. And yet the formation would still look very bullish.

And it would put a lot of the bulls into doubt over their "bubble by next month" mentality. Then if the downside movement doesn't materialize, panic to the upside could then ensue...
1504  Economy / Services / Re: My ass in a G-String? on: June 06, 2014, 07:23:47 PM
I support threads like this. Thumbs up, OP. Gimme some peach fuzz, landing strip, something at least, LOL. Tongue

(Is this a gimmick account or what? Cheesy)
1505  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You smoke? tobacco/weed etc on: June 06, 2014, 07:18:13 PM
I don't smoke cigarettes because I'm not an idiot, and weed I just don't care about.

That's very nice of you. Roll Eyes

It should be noted that smoking weed does cause the inhalation of significant amounts of tar and potential carcinogens; it has not been studied nearly enough to support the assumption that many believe (smoking weed is harmless).

And yes, I smoke a lot of weed.
1506  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: June 06, 2014, 06:48:52 PM
Bitstamp.

Btc-e deposit fee is too high.

Being someone that does not deposit fiat at this point, I should point out: Depositing at one exchange doesn't mean you can't trade at another. Once your money can buy bitcoin, you can move it anywhere with ease. Cool
1507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start earning Bitcoin ? on: June 06, 2014, 06:47:41 PM
I don't find faucets and giveaways an effective way to earn bitcoin. The best ways are to offer goods and services in exchange for bitcoin. Have anything you would normally flip on eBay or the like? Sell it here in the marketplace for some coin! Smiley
1508  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Gift cards with paypal , a possible solution to chargebacks ? on: June 06, 2014, 06:22:25 PM
Paypal is almost never going to be favorable for bitcoin use unfortunately they side with the scammers/liars all too much.

Are you sure about that? You know Paypal is owned by Ebay, right? Check this out:

Bitcoin key to future of online payments: EBay CEO

Never say never. Tongue
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TorCoin? Secure and grow the Tor network by rewarding relays and exit nodes? on: June 06, 2014, 06:19:45 PM
TorCoin: Making Anonymity Pay

This is really cool. Incentivize the operation of TOR nodes by allowing exit nodes to mine Torcoins, which can be sold on the open market. Still seems to be in the conceptual stage, but exciting stuff.
1510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop loss order not recommended on: June 06, 2014, 06:38:20 AM
Yeah, rumors of stop hunting always scared me from using trigger orders. Also, on Bitfinex, I find that their engine lags so badly (especially when lots of trigger orders are being hit) that slippage is brutal when your stop gets hit.

Don't use stops to enter either.
1511  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens when Paypal accepts Bitcoin ? on: June 06, 2014, 06:35:39 AM
That would have to be a pretty massive project to develop, given Paypal's size and infrastructure. When do you think this could possibly become a reality? I agree: moon.
1512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Block Explorer do you use ? on: June 06, 2014, 06:26:20 AM
Generally I just default to blockchain.info. But recently it was acting funny and not showing recent blocks, and the search was broken. I stumbled onto blockr.io, and have come to like it.

Blockexplorer.com was experiencing strange database/search issues at the same time as Blockchain.info a couple days ago. Not sure what that was about. Ditto on blockr.io, though I'm not talking API.
1513  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your Highest Earning IN A Day on: June 06, 2014, 06:24:39 AM
Back in like 2009, I took down a $5 rebuy/addon tournament on Cake for ~ $2500. I've come close to much bigger payouts, but have always managed to bust in the final few tables.
1514  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You smoke? tobacco/weed etc on: June 06, 2014, 06:22:58 AM
I smoke a lot of weed, trying to cut down on the cigarettes. I'm down to a couple smokes a day. But I be smoking spliffs all day. But I can get down with vaping as well.
1515  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: June 06, 2014, 06:20:46 AM
To get $$ in, I use Coinbase. Interested to see if Circle brings anything better to the table there. As far as a real exchange (trading platform), I prefer BTC-E. Least lag, atomic trading engine, and crazy swings that I love to catch. Cheesy
1516  Economy / Economics / Re: So whatever happened with Mt. Gox? on: June 05, 2014, 07:11:14 AM
They officially claimed that they still have 200K btc left with them, and the gox is now preparing to return them back.

I doubt they will be returned. I think they will be liquidated by the bankruptcy trustee/administrator and after various creditors are paid, customers will get a slice. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
1517  Economy / Economics / Re: The Promising Future of Bitcoin on: June 05, 2014, 07:09:14 AM
Great ideas, OP, and I very much agree. There is a lot of good news coming in, and the infrastructure is looking beautiful. But next time, try pressing "enter" every few sentences. It makes it easier on the eyes. Cheesy
1518  Economy / Economics / Re: Solution to poverty - Socialism or Capitalism? on: June 05, 2014, 07:05:25 AM
The conflation of socialism with Marxist-Leninism -- very common around here -- is very misguided. Firstly, there is a strong argument to be made that Marxism has never existed in practice. Only perversions of it such as Stalinism and Maoism. More importantly, there are longstanding socialist traditions that very much oppose both government and capitalism -- namely, anarchism.
1519  Other / Meta / Re: Time to bring back avatars on: June 05, 2014, 06:45:23 AM
I'd love for avatars to come back. LOL, I'm stuck with this guy. I just randomly picked one when I joined. If I knew I was gonna stick around, I probably would have chosen a better one... Undecided
1520  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Bashing on: June 05, 2014, 06:40:42 AM
It's been there for a while. Possibly made by Goat. Cheesy

The advice is legitimate, though "site is run by scammers" is more dubious.

Sure sounds like Goat. This guy really likes to cause a big stink when someone levels scam accusations against him. Kind of obnoxious to target the forum this way...
