It is going to happen sooner or later. Cryptocurrency earnings should be taxed. I think this is the best way for cryptocurrencies to be widely accepted by different countries.

Study the technology or atleast have a basic understanding. Try to maximize its earning potential. The, of course, get rich in crypto while young.

Yeah, it is important that you have enough enough knowledge before eve thinking of investing into a certain project. It is not an easy task to spot ICO scams, it take experience to do that. This post, may well save hundreds of newbies out there.

I am currently holding. My portfolio is up a little but I am not yet selling. I am still waiting for the big move. It could be happening real soon.

Doing airdrops to promote a certain project is a good thing. It brings the most number of participants and that is a good thing. Unfortunately, some projects are just scams.

I do not think it is a great way. It is probably the laziest thing to do. Participate in bounty campaigns instead where you get a higher success rate of getting paid for your efforts.

My basic three guides are whitepaper, how innovative the idea behind the project is, and the background of the team who will work on the project. Other criteria can follow.

Agreed, there are so many out there already and many more will appear.
You can start with those listed already in coinmarketcap.
Start looking for projects with low marketcap then look further into the team and tech.

You are basically asking for people their time spent in doing research which is advantageous to you. Just be careful to not fall in buying their own bags. Anyway, projects with good tech, good team and low marketcap are good investments.

It depends on the project really. Some newly listed tokens/coins are good, some are just trash. At the end of the day, it all depends of how knowledgeable are you in that new project you are planning to invest into.

Whether in crypto or anywhere else, there will always be scammers.
The practice of scamming has been there even before crypto started.
Unfortunately, some people never really learn. Greed overtakes most of the time.

Seriously now, we can't even predict the price for next week, how much more for the next few months and next year.

Any month that there will be major dips in bitcoin and alts. At this period, market seems to be down every first quarter of each year. But this could easily change. Any negative news can occur at any month so just be ready when that time comes.

You can sell it to wherever your altcoins are listed Grin

Seriously,they are probably listed in two or more exchanges, check the volume on each exchanges. Avoid those with low volumes as it is easy to manipulate the price.

There is no guarantee that the altcoin you and I invest into will be a success. The best thing to do is just to review the project carefully. Have your own basic guides on what is good or not. Use case? Team?
