1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Same thing happens to everyone who tries that! on: May 19, 2019, 10:34:10 AM
Those who claim to have that bitoin "killer" coin are not really serious. I also think it is just a marketing ploy similar to those various tokens/coins who say they are a better version of coin X. Unfortunately for them, people tend to not buy those negative marketing strategy.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Waves the Most Overrated Altcoin? on: May 19, 2019, 10:21:31 AM
2017 - news will usually pump the price
2018 - only few people buy the news

What confuses me is how is this possible when there are so many updates and things going with waves?  Shouldn't the price at least go up a bit?
You are still living in 2017.
I don't think it is overrated. The price may not be performing well as people like you are expecting but the development is still going.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Facebook Has Established New Fintech Firm in Switzerland on: May 19, 2019, 10:09:11 AM
This isn't an official statement from facebook. Yes, it's their firm in Switzerland but it doesn't mean that it's the rumor that they are going in for the stable coin. We have not seen any announcement from facebook about this kind of matter.

A kind of report, a rumor, we still don't have validation. We can misunderstood that it's part of their expansion, I have read the article and searched for other related articles and majority of them says that facebook should public it already to break the rumors.

This could just be another type of their marketing. Spread as many rumor or teaser so the public will remain engaged and talk about them every now and then. They need to stay relevant in this fast changing crypto market.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🚀Exchange Demo is Live🚀, MPCX-Project Development Update🔥 on: May 19, 2019, 10:05:02 AM
I'm one of those who tried their demo few weeks ago, pretty good so far. I believe the team is strong enough to deliver a complete investing platform.

If you are part of the team as you have claimed, why not create an official ANN thread for the project and there you can give all announcement you want to give and also get all feedbacks you want to get from the members of this forum,

They actually have an ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134791.0)

- - - - -
All these newbie accounts bumping the thread isn't really helping this project. I hope they're not hired  Cheesy
1665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WPP Energy tokens? on: May 19, 2019, 09:46:49 AM
I've seen this project before, they had a very long bounty campaign. As good as this project is, it may take a long time before it takes off. Price has also fallen a lot since it's listing. Is the team really planning to make WPP a stable coin?
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think I have found a gem. on: May 19, 2019, 09:36:24 AM
I am not really sure what makes this so special. Other than credit card or cold cash converted to appcoins, what else does this project offer really? You could presented this better. Can you not ask the team to create an ANN here? Or you are already the team representative?
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties with limitations pays higher rewards on: May 18, 2019, 06:46:45 AM
1)Quantative — when a max number of participants is set and no one is allowed to join after that.

Example: Max 1000 entrants in a facebook campaign
Back in 2017, I use to see many campaigns do this. I guess things took a turn when the bear market arrived and the interest of ICO investors declined. Bounty manager started accepting unlimited participants for more exposure and to reach more potential investors.

2)Qualitative — when the requirements are raised up by the bounty managers.
Example: Minimum 500 followers to participate in an article/blogging campaign.
This is usually the case. I seldom see campaigns allowing hunters with less than 100 followers/friends to join.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will Boom ! on: May 18, 2019, 06:38:17 AM
According to announcement of chain link, the decentralized oracle provider will launch on the Ethereum mainnet on May 30th.
Please provide a link where you got this information.

Many have been anticipating the launch of Ethereum 2.0 but whether Eth will boom or not still depends on the performance of the new platform.

So I think price will go up for surely.
Contradicting.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON to soon displace ETHEREUM? on: May 18, 2019, 06:33:05 AM
Boasting about the partnership just made Tron look like a start up project wanting to get some attention in my eyes.
I think what's currently making tron a top 10 or 20 is just the marketing effort of their CEO, not much about the technology.
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is Adding Cryptocurrency Wallet to its Budget Phones on: May 18, 2019, 06:27:31 AM
I like this news because it may increase new cryptocurrency users/traders/investors.

I remember there was some news about partnership with enjin wallet. What happened to that? Or was it just a rumor meant to pump the ENJ price?
1671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Change how to evaluate article quality to receive Merit? on: May 18, 2019, 06:12:29 AM
A newly created account suggesting changes on the merit system is quite unusual.

I did some digging and found out that you have many alt account as shown in the image below. This is probably the reason why you are suggesting something that you can easily manipulate.

I also found out that you have other accounts, aside from the list above, that have been abusing bounties as it was reported HERE

1672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Quality post really ? on: May 18, 2019, 05:34:36 AM
Being good in English is not really a requirement for a quality post. Users with poor english can simply stick to their local board and contribute. I believe there are many forum users who do not write well in English but are knowledgeable in blockhain and crypto-related topics.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate? on: May 18, 2019, 05:04:14 AM
I only know a few ICO review sites. I used to visit them before but after finding out some of their unethical moves such as giving a low rating then sending "random" users to ICO telegram groups to inform them of the low rating. They would even send someone that would act as a potential investor with a script that looks like this:

"I would like to invest but I am having doubts. I saw the review on this website xxx and the review is very low....."

1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 18, 2019, 04:51:21 AM
To be honest, I would hesitate to use BTC in buying stuff on online stores at this point. I still do not have that much that I can spend freely. If I get more profit, then I would be more willing.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What information does the participation in the airdrop focus on this currency? on: May 17, 2019, 06:58:04 AM
If I were you, I would avoid joining airdrops of different ICOs unless they have a referral campaign and you also have a group that will sign up. But if you still want to do so, prepare to join hundreds of telegram groups and deal with scammers stealing your data.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: pump end or only correction? on: May 17, 2019, 06:37:07 AM
Here we go again  Grin

Now that price is going down, the claim that we are now in a bullrun is gone again? Will we see another set of "when bullrun" questions if it goes below $7K?

I'm sure the confidence of the investors to buy more are still there.
How can you tell?
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 17, 2019, 06:18:47 AM

Dude, even without KD, they are firing up. They chose their classic first 5 before KD and cousins made it to the team.

They've already won a championship with that line up so it only makes sense to use that combination again and again. I think they can wipe out the Blazers in 4 games even if KD or Cousins don't play. The current line up might even win it all.

Doon nila kinukumpara kasi dun sila nakabili.
1679  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [TOKPIE] Gawing Totoo ang iyong Pangarap 💣💣💣[Bounty Stakes Trading]💣💣💣 on: May 17, 2019, 05:58:45 AM
Quote

Paano to? Tokpie ba ang bibili at a fix rate? or ibang traders/investors din?

1680  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Meron pa bang matinong bounty? on: May 17, 2019, 05:54:18 AM

Last na nasalihan ko was Evident Proof bounty last year, eth yung payment sa bounty hunters last November pa and nag-distribute naman sila.

Smiley
