1641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tottenham Vs LiverPool UEFA Final on: May 21, 2019, 05:26:26 AM
Two teams who loves to attack and both coming from huge comeback wins.

UCL has been full of surprises this season. I think Tottenham might pull something again in this final. This is going to be a tight game.
1642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the 1st thing you'll do if you win Megah Moolah's jackpot? on: May 21, 2019, 04:46:25 AM
If I win a huge jackpot in any lottery or game, I would probably use half of it to buy bitcoin and other type of investments that gives passive income  Grin

About 20% would be locked for emergency fund and educational plans. The rest would go for affordable but decent house and lot, then other stuffs...
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: May 21, 2019, 04:37:05 AM
I misread the title, I though it was gambling "against" your parents. That would have been very funny.

I see other kids also being exposed in gambling. Many parents are allowing their kids watch them gamble and eventually learn the games. I don't know if that turned out good, maybe it's a case to case basis.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 21, 2019, 04:31:51 AM
Portland just could not close out games against the Warriors this series. Well, any team could hardly do that, but atleast they could have won atleast one game.

On the east, Raptors is also having a hard time closing games against the Bucks. I don't think their roster (other than Kahwi) have that belief. It's probably the result of them always falling short in the past.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which exchange is going to be the next high volume Altcoin exchange? on: May 20, 2019, 05:29:05 AM
Prior to the hacking incident, there were already other exchanges that's beating Cryptopia in terms of volume. As someone already suggested, just look at CMC rankings. Anyway, Digifinex seems to be doing fine
1646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be Aware of Scams as Crypto prices goes up! on: May 20, 2019, 05:19:06 AM
I myself got scam by Icenter. I knew it was ponzi-like scam, thinking I can exit before I got ripoff BUT they were cleverer and exited before I could.

Grin This is what greed does to you.

Thanks for reminding mostly here, it's not enough to just remind them when someone will cry again as he become a recent victim of another scam. And we already have an example about this:

https://nulltx.com/someone-is-trying-to-create-bitconnect-2-0-once-again/
https://coinfomania.com/bitconnect-2-0-scam/

as long as newbies keeps coming, always expect some victims. It is usually their own actions that leads them to all these scams. We can only do so much in reminding them and posting some guides.
1647  Local / Pilipinas / Re: THE 10 SECRETS OF CRYPTO on: May 20, 2019, 05:10:43 AM

VII. Diversify into as many quality altcoins as you can. That way you can experience market bubbles thousands of times over. If you hold all the coins and accumulated them for cheap, you've lowered your risk and win every time there's pump.

Hindi naman risky yan sa mga baguhan since may limitasyon naman na binanggit "as many as you can". Kung dalawa o tatlo lang ang kaya ng pondo, hanggang dun na lang muna. Saka na lang magdagdag kung may dagdag ng pondo.
1648  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: May 20, 2019, 05:03:47 AM
Parehong factor yan.

Whoever is paying to watch the Eastern Conference finals have their monies worth. Whoever wins this series will be pretty much banged up and will likely lose to the Warriors who are doing very well even without KD.

You have so much trust on the Warriors, well, they are still the favorites whoever they will face, but we will not be seeing a 4-0 here like last NBA finals.
My prediction is if they will face the Bucks, it could go to game 6 or 7, and I will take the bucks to win that series.

The odds is very attractive and I just want a new champion this time around.

Good luck to which team we are rooting, what I just hope is the real entertainment which we just witnessed.

It's not about having so much trust. I'm just seeing things how it is. As I've said, "will likely lose to the Warriors"

I also think Bucks would win in six or seven games. It appears they have a better chance of beating the warriors.
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs Breazeale - May 18 on: May 20, 2019, 04:41:07 AM

That was just nasty. It was only the first round but Breazeale was moving like they were already in the later rounds. Other fighters would not have been able to get up with that clean and powerful shot.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 20, 2019, 04:28:51 AM
this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided.

They say it is like a quick sand, the more you fight the more you get sucked into that hole. I don't often gamble but I also experience the same. The urge to immediately recover what you've lost is too hard to resist. One measure I take to prevent that from happening to me is not bringing too much money.

But then again, if you will be thinking of it, that means you are losing too even if that is a small amount. You might think that bringing money in a small amount can stop you from gambling, as you've said it is like quicksand. Gambling is one of the hardest things to keep your distance on especially if you already know how great it can be when you already won.

You entirely missed my first point which is "I don't often gamble". That means when I lose with that small capital I brought, I do not try to come back and win them back immediately. I only play when I feel like it or when some friends invites for a get together.

Yep, that's why it's important for GSW to close out the Trailblazers have a good rest while waiting for the East showdown. And they came out fresh and hungrier and win their 3rd straight championship. As for Kahwi, he is not over rated, he had the experienced with San Antonio and he knows how important this game is and he is not willing to let it go whether 2 or more OT's.

No doubt about KL but him grinding out every game with the Bucks after that 7-game series with Philly, I'm not sure if his body can sustain it. He's already hurt in Game 3. Other starters and their bench really needs to step up.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: May 20, 2019, 04:09:55 AM
I never personally encountered someone who is seriously addicted to gambling, just some occasional bettors/players. But I heard stories from a friend whom gamblers approach to borrow some money because they lost. I've watched also some documentaries on therapies, do they really work?

1656  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to buy an account? on: May 20, 2019, 03:54:38 AM
It is totally against the forum rules, as the penalty is RED tag from DT members on the forum. Please, you just have to level up because with your first post; you can hurt your account.
~
Will advise you to read the forum rules and regulations before you fall victim. Good-luck mate.
18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.
if you actually have read the rules, account sales are not against forum rules Roll Eyes
red tag by DT member is some sort of community punishment,
to prevent them from joining (spamming) sig camp, scamming people and doing other malicious things

@Oyaberu must have mistaken having negative trust as punishment for breaking the forum rules. I can't blame him/her though, I also had the same impression back in the day.
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good investment? on: May 19, 2019, 12:05:27 PM
I'm not sure why you are still asking here as you seem to have done your research already about this project and concluded that it is good. Would you change your mind if others would have a different opinion?

1659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: May 19, 2019, 11:08:35 AM
Unless you are concern about your security, I don't think there is anything wrong with saying you are involved in cryptocurrency trading. You are actually helping in spreading the word. Don't worry about what they think and what they do after you tell them.
1660  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Tip to Earn Success in bitcoins and other cryptocurrency on: May 19, 2019, 11:03:35 AM
no one is quoting the best resource to "learn everything" about bitcoin!
https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook
Mastering Bitcoin 2nd Edition - Programming the Open Blockchain https://bitcoinbook.info/

@OP: First "learn" and then "earn".
Buying bitcoin without the properly knowledge means trash money into the rubbish!

Thanks for the reference. I agree with the sentiment, many people especially those new to crypto go straight to "learning how to earn" without understanding the basics of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. That also includes me to a certain extent.
