Can you clarify what kind of promotion you are referring here?

Promotions like banner advertising, signature, etc. helps if they hit the right target.
Other promotions like having tournaments or other competitions definitely increase the interest of playing.

This is one of the things that happens when you subscribe to any type of airdrops and also those bounties that do not hide your email on the spreadsheet. As a rule of thumb, ignore emails that offer airdrops or other incentives.

It's all bout personal interest of course. If the former CTO no longer share the vision of the Tron project, then it's only right to leave. I'm not particularly interested in Tron but I'll follow what this former CTO does next.
