1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors in 2019? on: February 04, 2019, 06:40:25 AM
1. What is the main reason for investors to leave the cryptocurrency business to date?
- Cannot endure the long bear market from lack of patience
- Maybe a strict cryptocurrency regulation from their country
- Extremely rekt from this bear market

2. Will there be a repeat of the trust, making investors interested again?
- Friendly cryptocurrency regulations
- Another bull run
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 04, 2019, 06:36:51 AM
I think it is too early to tell whether new projects could compete or not. Maybe compare try to assess again after they are two or three years into theit development.
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: February 04, 2019, 06:31:14 AM
~snip~
I honestly think kyc should be stopped for bounty hunters, reason being that we are not buying the token of the project ,rather we are rendering services  to create awareness for the project. Which ought to be paid for.
You may also think it this way, you are buying the tokens but instead of paying fiat/crypto, you are paying it in the form of services.

In another view, if a bounty hunter has to go through KYC ,then it should be at the start of the bounty, during registration, if accepted or passed, then you go on with the bounty.
There is a risk here. You are already giving personal information to a project which you are not even sure if they can reach soft cap and distribute bounty tokens.

I did a bounty which i passed, and earned some amount of the token, but i failed kyc and my effort was gone just like that, after rendering my services to them by promoting the project. I got really pained.
How do you even fail KYC? Are you using someone's account? Did you follow instructions?
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Fundamental Insight For Newbies In The Forum on: February 04, 2019, 06:25:05 AM
The title you use does not match what you explained.
Bounty Campaign is not a fundamental insight in this forum, because there are many things that can be known about the fundamental news of bitcoin and the work system of cryptocurrency or blockchain.
I was also surprised that the explanation was very different from the title given. in this forum not only about bounty campaign. All activities in this forum are of course very large, crypto-related information and others that I think are useful in this forum.

I may be wrong but I think the OP mainly uses this forum just to complete his/her bounty tasks. He/she probably never read articles or other meaningful discussions.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I wanted to know if there is a hodler right here? on: January 31, 2019, 04:34:10 PM
I've been holding some altcoins since 2017. Some I truly support while I'm forced to hold the others because I don't want to sell at a huge loss. To be honest, I would rather have the profits from selling some of them rather than getting an "achievement".
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latoken Exchange Ethereum withdrawal still pending for over 24 hours on: January 31, 2019, 04:29:46 PM
This is a common issue among new exchanges. Either they have a liquidity issue or their system is really messed up.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Smart Contracts replace traditional contracts? on: January 31, 2019, 04:23:44 PM
It is goin to take a massive information campaign before that can happen. People need to understand smart contracts first before they can accept and use it.
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BITCOIN ATM PROFITABLE BUSINESS ? on: January 30, 2019, 07:45:01 PM
I cannot remember where but I read that the number of bitcoin ATM's doubled last year compared to the previous. I guess BTC is widely used in those areas. The question here is, have you checked or asked people in your area if they know about BTC and if they are willing to use it?
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rewarding bounty hunters with EQUITY SHARES instead of tokens on: January 30, 2019, 07:33:56 PM
An interesting evolution:

Looks like the DataBlockChain/DBC.io project had some issues with their 2 bounty campaigns. It made them decide to change the initial campaign project, which was "the usual" token payment. They have decided now to reward bounty hunters with equity shares instead of tokens.

This means you have to fill out KYC, send a copy of your selfie with ID and even fill-out a tax form (!!).

I am not sure what to think of this evolution. Could this be a new step in bounty campaign rewards? What about user's privacy protection?
KYC requirement for bounty hunters isn't new anymore and many have already accepted that regardless of the type of payment.

Also, these guys are really dancing on the limits of legality. If you're promising people to pay them tokens, you can't just go ahead and change the rules along the way. Even the most radical of libertarians or anarchists will agree that the principle of "pacta sunt servanda" is the basics of any system or society.

They are not the only ones who have changes the rules, many have done it already. They always have this "we have the right to change the rules" policy.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: January 30, 2019, 07:28:57 PM
I have never even heard or read a lot of these exchanges. I was especially surprised on the listed decentralized exchanges and there might be more of them out there. DDEX is my current favorite but it may change after checking those other DEX's. Anyway, thanks for the valuable input.
1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hunter's Earners on: January 30, 2019, 07:19:56 PM
Earning $3000+ from bounties was possible back in 2017. You can even earn that amount from airdrops alone during those times.

Today, it's hard to even find one that's already worth $500. We'll have to find another bull run before rewards from bounties starts pumping again.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Exchange Run ICOs may be a bad idea on: January 30, 2019, 07:16:24 PM
I see your point and the suspicion from having only 1000 buyers is warranted. I wish there would have been more participants. On the other hand, this could turn out good too. Other major exchanges may follow soon and with better policy to distribute to as many holders.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin's New Logo on: January 29, 2019, 05:02:08 PM
I prefer the old logo. They probably changed it for marketing purposes and to signify that something big is coming from them. We'll just have to wait and see
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There too many coins to buy the dip. on: January 29, 2019, 04:59:08 PM
I do not think you have a problem right now. 2019 is going to be another bear market in my opinion. Buy whatever you can now then save up to buy another coin you want.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2019, 02:02:23 PM
I did have some regrets before like not selling because I was too greedy but it's all in the past now. I learned some valuable lessons the hard way.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: January 28, 2019, 01:58:12 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed?
But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?

Bear market may continue throughout 2019 but I do not see myself leaving crypto. The market will not stay down forever but if you are tired of waiting, doing something else won't be a bad thing
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE END OF ETHEREUM or ? Which will be much better: Waves or TRON or METAHASH on: January 28, 2019, 01:39:02 PM
When it scalability and transaction speed, I think Waves leads all on that list. But when it comes to popularity, there's no doubt that Ethereum is still on top. Ethereum 2.0 is a make or break for Eth I think. If it performs well, it will probably leave others behind.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency Happiness for everyone on: January 28, 2019, 01:31:05 PM
What the heck is this post for if you only want to read positive opinions? Last time I checked, this is a forum where users are free to agree or disagree to a certain topic.

Anyway, tough luck for you because I also do not see the market having a significant increase. I do not believe BTC will reach $1K but I won't be surprised if it breaches $3K.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: January 28, 2019, 01:26:36 PM
Some bounty campaigns have an escrow but not in BTC or USD. As much as I support the idea, would it not take so much for the start up project? With that approach, we may see less and less ICOs launching bounty campaigns. They might just opt for private funding and that means no bounty
1940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: January 24, 2019, 05:29:29 PM
You may also add this on that list - spend time learning how to trade and how to analyze projects to invest into rather than just throwing 20% of your monthly income.
