1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KARM] Karma / ₭ / X11 on: November 06, 2015, 09:35:33 PM
Dev here? Or the coin is dead? No strong buy support. Worth buying now?
I went ahead and mined a few of these about a week ago but ended up dumping them as it doesn't appear as though anything is happening with this coin currently.

*For future reference, if a coin has this little to no buy support, there's more than likely a pretty good reason for it.

Such a shame. This coin was doing so well maybe a year ago. It attracted an large investor who was willing to buy the Karma powered search engine.
Then all of a sudden all development died and the coin went downhill from there

It is a great shame, Karma was buzzing with a bunch of ideas a year ago, where did it go.

It's good!

So if a user marks a post as good then it gets more than 50% good it becomes Comfirmed and the reader gets paid ?

Also can I ask is a Not Confirmed article actaully a rejected article I.e. Did it get less than 50% good rating and now the journalist has to resubmit it?

Also what happens if an even amount of people vote good and bad ? 50/50

Why is the My Profile login at the bottom of the screen and not in the top menu?

Is there a section when I can view items I'm bidding on / that I have won? I have logged in but can't see any option.

Yes SimonTower, and we will fix it.

Thanks for the link last night, that may explain things. Hopefully we'll get it solved today. Wish we would have stayed with the simple machines forum. It was much easier to work with.

Great work Simon! Let me know guys if you need any help with anything, I'm more than happy to set you up a redundany copy of the forum once we get it working.

1507  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Sound Key - Safe Offline Transaction Signing on: November 04, 2015, 09:38:30 AM
So could you show an actual prototype demonstration ? Would be great to see
1508  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Sound Key - Safe Offline Transaction Signing on: November 03, 2015, 07:31:41 PM

For now full focus on the working prototype and the correct selection of the best components to guarantee quality, processing power, and yet not too expensive. The goal to achieve a good numbers of pre-orders eill allow us to get certain custom made boards with processors, keyboard, and disply already embedded (rather than mounted). Will be cheaper and will make the sound key smaller.

So backers are backing a prototype not a end product?
1509  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Sound Key - Safe Offline Transaction Signing on: November 03, 2015, 01:43:53 PM
Do you have any prototypes or working versions you could show us?
1510  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] NOTPRICELESS - Collect and Trade the World's Treasures on the Blockchain! on: November 03, 2015, 11:28:31 AM
Very interesting idea, i've signed up Smiley
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DGC] Digitalcoin 3.0 | Multi-algorithm, Improved Blockchain Storage | RELEASED! on: November 03, 2015, 11:26:36 AM
Nothing to see here. Move along people. No changes are under way for DGC, the forum is still dead and the price is tanking further.

The forum is now literally dead. Server box is running, but no forum and no email. The network admin says it has connectivity and knows nothing more. If anyone runs into xawksow maybe mention it to him because I have no idea what to do to get it running again.

TT

Do you have a copy of the forum or access to the box? We should mirror it to ensure it stays up

1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween greetings from the Crypto crypt. on: November 01, 2015, 11:10:35 AM
Virtual currency sounds good, I think so does alternate currency.

I do think cryptocurrency is a good term but can also pretty confusing and sometimes off putting for the everyday user.

i would prefer digital currency, and not virtual, like they do not exist or something

digital give to bitcoin a more tangible aspect to me

That's true virtual does seem in a sense to state not real or something similar. Digital currency is much more appropriate.

1517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On the cover page of The Economist on: October 31, 2015, 10:47:46 AM
I would like to find it somewhere on the Internet to read it. Is it published online too?
This is the kind of news we need.

V Here

It's great to have an article in the Economist about bitcoin. Not quite, mostly about blockchain technology. I believe this could be a better approach to have economists (people) appreciate bitcoin. Most have debunked bitcoin for it's deflationary properties.
