2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do traders pay income taxes? on: September 20, 2018, 10:30:02 PM
Here, you don't have to pay taxes as long as you do not cashout from crypto.
If you get fiat, then you must declare it and you will be taxed on that fiat.
2382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 20, 2018, 10:27:47 PM
It takes time, but when you do understand it, you will be mindblown by it's elegance.
Check "Andreas Antonopoulos" videos on Youtube. He really is the guy when it comes to explain Bitcoin in easy ways. Smiley
2383  Local / Débutants / Re: Pump/Dump simultané ... on: September 20, 2018, 10:22:52 PM

2387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A little history about Bitcoin. on: September 20, 2018, 11:13:08 AM
Bitcoin was established by a group of people who want to remain anonymous and hence uses the name Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008. A lot of people have tried to impersonate them but their identity remains hidden. The coins in his wallet is still intact and has never been used for any transaction. In August 2008, the domain Bitcoin.org was registered by another anonymous person and in January 2009, Bitcoin mining began.

We don't that for sure.
These are only speculations, given the identity of satoshi is unknown.
It could be an extra-terrestrial tech, for all we know.

The coins they mined are intact, never been spent, but do they hodl the private keys to these addresses ?

Anyway, there is a lot of mystery around bitcoin ... Except for the tech. Since it's open source, we know how it runs, hence the success..

So now you're all better and ready to accuse other members who make the same mistake? You auctioned it off, you didn't care who you sold it to and that user got negged to the ground later, while you remain clean. Yeah, there were no scams back in the day, everyone was legit lol. You're full of shit mate and I just proved it. You just wait and wait, ready to jump at any new thread about someone, ready to give your "valuable" opinion. At least I never auctioned off a forum acc to the highest bidder.

Stop seeing the mote in other's eyes and look at the beam in your own.

Kind of got you there buddy.

Yeah, super legit to sell likes and spam. Roll Eyes and you did it like, now ? This wasn't 3 years ago.. and yes, account sales gradually became controversial, sorry to teach you that fact, kiddo.
Since you are so passionate about watching users, so you can talk about them, what about you ?
What else do you do, except from pumping scams on a massive scale considering the amount of different threads you made, and social media you deal with ?
If I'm full of shit, I wonder what that makes you full of, "mate" ?
This is an open forum. I am free to post whatever opinion I have, it hurts me to know it isn't "valuable" to your eyes.

I'm not sure. Given you know all that stuff, whose alt are you ? Hmm geez I wonder ...

You cannot compare what cannot be compared.
2390  Economy / Reputation / Re: Spam service? on: September 19, 2018, 09:53:16 PM
He gave a loan, people defaulted on the loan/loans and he is left with bitcointalk accounts as collateral. Of course he will want to liquidate these accounts in order to get his initial capital back instead of being stuck with accounts that he doesn't need?

He obviously did not sell these accounts knowingly to scammers.

And he's stopping now, and i presume this is something done way back. Why are you picking up on this now?

You are free to read the whole thread this quote is from.
If you look long enough into anybody's history, you'll find probably always find things, as controversial they may be.
Your short lived history is already filled with things, and it isn't like you're saying "Oh okay, I thought I helped, just picked up implications, sorry" and move on.
If you would have been around back in the days, you'd know that trading accounts was pretty common.
It gradually became more and more controversial as the quantity of scams skyrocketed on the board. (Scams that your "service" is helping, by the way...)

Since then, never touched another account than mine (and my alt that I have tagued with a neutral from my main account, that I use from my phone).
I trade, I help around, I do stuff that makes people happy around me in an ethical way.

Can't really say the same about you, heh ?
Stop seeing the mote in other's eyes and look at the beam in your own. Trying to bring the focus from you and your spam service to other's won't work.
2391  Economy / Reputation / Re: Spam service? on: September 19, 2018, 07:41:51 PM
It actually is. I don't know where you got that picture, maybe it helps you sleep at night since you also advertise them. The damage gambling does is horrific, maybe you'll learn that someday. Addicts are sick and you are fueling their addiction for a couple of bucks? "He'll gamble anyway" is not a valid argument. It's very possible for an addict to see your signature and relapse, believe it or not, so stop hiding behind statements like those.

Same can be said for drugs, you know what you're doing, nothing is hidden, "it's the player with himself only"?  Roll Eyes See the resemblance?

Nice work on avoiding the point that's painful to you, you culprit.
Keep up the work. You're gonna go far, kid.

I would suggest everyone not to respond to Ludji's post, as they are trying to move this topic in other direction.

How is advertising gambling sites for money moral(since it's not legal in some places), but fake followers are not?

EDIT: Ah, thanks Lauda. I see you are the first to tag me. Good job losing another member.

Will be my only reply here.

Gambling (and advertising it) isn't considered immoral. Everything is clear, and known in advance. Players expect to lose, some can win.
It's the player with himself only, really. Most (if not all) of crypto-related gambling websites, are provably fair.

Fake followers give a wrong, falsely boosted, picture of the project, and hence this is a deceitful strategy.

2398  Economy / Reputation / Re: marlboroza - about the red trust - Nel.network fake team on: September 15, 2018, 06:07:34 PM
Secondly, I won't even address the fact that you compare a 65 billion dollar scam to wanna-be ICO scams. Madoff managed to scam auditors who do checks for scams, false records, manipulation for a living. Compare that to have literate ICO scams and yeah... you get the point.

Thank you actually for elaborating my point.

The scammer was sentenced for over a century in jail, yeah.
What about the scam agents ? And this is state justice, not some internet board with "wanna-be ICOs", like you say.
Which one is the most "critical" ? Were there consequences for the agents ?

Now that you repeated that, in your view, managers have responsability, can you please address my first point ?
What do you recommend to do this ? Let's find practical solutions that BMs can use.
How can managers protect themselves from a team that appears legit at first glance, with only a page on 2 different social networks at start.
Only then, they add more and more bullshit, make Linkedin plagiarised profiles, and update the project OP (that has been accepted by the manager) since they can do that.

Except from checking the whole marketing of every project that is managed on a daily basis to prevent scams, which would take forever, what do you recommend ?

I have no better solution to provide, this is why I think they shouldn't be held responsible. But meh.. difference in points of view etc ...
Since you think otherwise, what do you recommend, practically ?
2399  Economy / Reputation / Re: marlboroza - about the red trust - Nel.network fake team on: September 15, 2018, 05:37:22 PM
I was talking about o_e_l_e_o changing his statement after Lauda's post.

Quote
I don't think posting a disclaimer should be a get-out-of-jail-free card for any and all scams and shadiness.

Quote
There is really no need to appeal to the extremes. I'm sure that you've understood what I meant.

Quote
Apologies. Not my intention, and I accept a disclaimer is fine when the project wasn't obviously a scam.

Can you please explain how to prevent an edit function from being used by the team running the project ?
Other than, having to check every other social media page they advertise, on a daily basis, consistently, during the whole life of the bounty ?
And make sure this is still legit. Can you just estimate the time this would take ?

As far as I'm concerned, BM aren't responsible for the teams actions.
Were the agencies used by Madoff to advertise sentenced to anything ? No.
These topics weren't even brought on during trials.
Hey hey heeeyy.. what about Carlos ?

We take all your criticism, but what are you recommend ?
Of course, a disclaimer isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card, but there must be a right balance between immunity and blatant thievery. Where is it, in your opinion ?

Had a scheduled meeting with that guy : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2380991
Here is his sales thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5019725.0

I wanted to buy some of his items, and pickup in a public place as per OP. The BTC payment would have happened during the meeting.

Initially this morning was at 10am, he was in hangover mode so we delayed to noon.
Guess what ? I was there at noon, but the guy never showed up and stopped communicating.

Now, I noticed his thread got locked.
In his last post, he mentions "shipping" stuff for free, and in the OP, only pickup locally is mentioned.

https://imgur.com/a/ul0v6CG

I strongly inadvise anyone to trade with this guy.
