To be honest, congratulations for your achievements with the above pic. This got me thinking to find a solution that would not allow to re-use the hologram, if we imagine the case where the VOID pattern doesn't appear. So far, this is what I found as a solution :  This way, the holo cannot be re-used if we emboss something on it. It doesn't have to be a word. Maybe simple "BTC" or the ticker of the coin. I don't know yet. It can be solely some character. By the way, test generic hologs were 20x20mm, but the definitive ones will be 22x22, so more space to crush something on them.  |

Le paiement en BTC se déroule parfaitement, mais la ou les choses se complique c'est que finalement, il y a une erreur sur le produit qui n'est plus en stock. Je reçois alors une proposition pour une livraison en 1 semaine au lieu de 48h... Coup de tel hier du boss qui me dit qu'ils ont un soucis et me propose le meme produit dans une autre couleur avec un grade supérieur .... Vient le moment du paiement pour la carte.
Comment voulez vous payer ? Ha bah non en fait, on vous laisse pas le choix, on choisis aléatoirement parmi vos actifs !
Concrètement, a aucun moment il nous ait demandé de choisir avec quel actif payer la carte, et je trouve ça vraiment dommage qu'ils choisissent eux même ( Aléatoirement je suppose ? ).
Ce serait pourtant pas très compliqué d'ajouter un petit menu déroulant pour choisir quel actif utiliser pour payer.
J'ai conscience que c'est peut-être qu'un détail, mais je le considère comme important.
Bref, je sais que c'est très négatif tout ce que je dis, mais c'est vrais que pour une première impression, ce sont des points, que je trouve personnellement dérangeant.
Au final, la commande de carte est bien validé, plus qu'a attendre qu'elle arrive, et voir ce que ça va donner par la suite.

C'est une façon de parler pour simplifier le discours pour les néophytes. Un néophyte ne sait pas ce qu'est un hard fork ou un altcoin (essaye de demander ça aux gens dans la rue en France en juin 2019). Il faut prendre ça comme un document découverte pour les néophytes, pour qu'ils prennent conscience que le monde crypto est vaste. Il y a Bitcoin et plein de choses qui en découlent.
PS : Je n'oblige personne à cliquer sur le lien pour découvrir le document. J'annonce juste que le document existe pour ceux qui font le choix de vouloir le découvrir.
J'ai lu ton document, et c'est une compilation de toutes les cryptos qui contiennent "Bitcoin" dans leur nom ... et il y'en a beaucoup trop !! C'est cool de les lister et de les commenter, même si je pense que la plupart de ces projets sont voués à l'échec. A mon avis, je redoute que les néophytes soient encore un peu plus perdus par ton document, car déjà pourquoi il y'a Bitcoin et Bitcoiin ? T'a pas fait une faute de frappe ? (j'me met dans la tête du lecteur) Ton document serait plus clair si tu y mettais un petit disclaimer, un texte explicatif, disant que le bitcoin originel est né en 2009 satoshi machin genesis patin couffin, et que après d'autres ont suivis ! Je pense que de hiérarchiser le classement des coins aidera un peu à la compréhension. Tu devrais parler du BTC en premier (comme tu le fait), puis du Bitcoin Cash (d'ailleurs, question culture crypto réservée à Guillaume : sais tu pourquoi ce fork est né ? ), puis du Bitcoin SV. Au moins, dans leur ordre d'importance et d'apparition sur coinmarketcap, car là, ça n'a pas trop de sens de simplement lister toutes les cryptos qui ont "bitcoin" dans le nom. I find the prospect of mass-adopted physical wallets very exciting for a number of reasons and was fortunate to get 2 Coldkeys from Yogg for testing. Here's a description and results of my first test.

Yes, the point would be to find the way to provide the most secure ways and media for bearing crypto funds. That'd be awesome to see Coldkeys being mass-adopted as physical crypto. Yogg promised me a "surprise" and he delivered. The private key is printed on a polymer that is different from the card plastic and almost the entire key melted (probably too fuzzy to be recoverable)
Hah, so your first solvent actually took away the layer on which the private key is printed, right ? Then it'll only be the blank card. That layer is very thin and fragile. It will ruin the QR code but if some malicious person tries to tamper with it, then that's only better. So I'm pretty confident that I've found a solvent that can remove the adhesive without dissolving the private key, but will test this more in the coming days.
That "other solvant" that you used from the left looks more appropriate for this use to me, but there still is the whole work of replacing the hologram correctly, untouched (  ) and being able to put a new plastic layer on top of that. I am already starting to think of a solution to make the tampering with the holo much much difficult than it actually is, and quasi-impossible to re-use. I have access to a lot of equipment and chemicals and am definitely open to suggestions if anyone has some. I'll also be testing some optical attack vectors and will see if I can alter the public key although it looks tough.

Just got my card.. very nice. Will test it shortly. And yes.. I noticed this layer on the front side as well. I am assuming it covers the QR code to help protect from wear/damage. Thanks yogg  I'm glad you got it, minerjones ! Can't wait to see results of your tests ! Yes, the durability of a physical bitcoin is a very important matter to me. Nothing better than plain old QR codes compatible with most open-source wallets.

Based on the above, I believe Hhampuz to have used the money from BestMixer to repay his debts.

Mais est-ce que je vais pouvoir voir tout çà sur un autre ordi depuis l'appli Ledger Live.
Oui. Chaque application "Ledger Live" communique avec le Nano S qui est connecté à l'ordi. Je t'invite à faire un test et essayer quelque part ailleurs : tes fonds ne risquent rien, ils sont "bloqués dans le Nano S" donc tant que tu fais pas la manip' pour les dépenser, ils seront là. |
