Oui, je pense que c'est ça. Les deux parties qui se connaissent font un setup dans l'orderbook, de façon à ce que ce soit son pote qui se récup la plus grosse part. (Tiens pourquoi ça a bloqué à 110$CAD et c'est pas allé plus bas ?) L'exchange doit avoir un registre des transactions partielles détaillées, et je pense que tout est traçable. Mais bon, sur un malentendu ça peut passer. |

This is sufficient. You don't need third party services or multiple servers. You can query the Core via the RPC for all those addresses.
We need 1 tool for all physical Bitcoin, not 1 per manufacturer. Totally agree. We need one tracker for all. Yes, this would work, but hosting a full node today is quite hefty. Also, Bitcoin Core has no RPC method to query the "balance" of an address that isn't local to the wallet. I do not see iquidus or abe running smoothly on top of Bitcoin Core, and being regularly queried by the tracker, on an infrastructure that is affordable for the project at least. (Nope, I'm not NATing a port ) So this solution would imply to code such middleware that tracks "balances" of all addresses, analyzing all inputs and outputs to impact the balances on the database .. It still feels hefty to run. 
Some may disagree, but I like the blocktrail explorer that shows you the current value of all the forks your coin contains. Certainly would help in establishing the true value of each coin, especially those funded pre-shit forks.

There used to be a free web service that you could input your own addresses and I would get an email if any balance moved back or forth. It allowed you to give a nickname to the address like "Cas Goldie XXXX" etc etc.... I would pay for a service like that, as I haven't found one as simple and straightforward - free or cheap! Thanks Yogg either way!  That's also something that can be done in the context of a tracker ! Pfew, so many stuff to do/can be done !

I understand completely the concerns about dusting. There can be no list of aggregated addresses publicly displayed on the tracker, just data and stats, but these will always be in the wild somehow. For Satori Coins, Raimu still hosts on their website the PDFs with all public addresses that have been generated. Same goes with most of the physical bitcoins. So I am still a bit uncertain about what to do with this. |

How do you see that implemented ? Who would apply this tag to scammers ? Is it the staff ? Or the tag appears when the trust score would have been -16 ? How do you verify the violation of applicable laws ? I am not trying to annoy you, but rather trying to picture how it would work.
To be honest, I think that the trust system has flaws, but I also think it is something very difficult to manage and Theymos will always try to do his best to make things better. |

So, last year I made that tool to track Satori Coins which is currently down. ( http://www.satoritool.site) It broke sometime in January. I understood what happened : it is because of some changes they made on the blockchain service provider side. They decreased the quantity of queries you can make, per second, to their service. The Satori Tool Site was refreshing the state of the each Satori Coin every day. I realized all that when I was working on some BTCC Chips & Coins tracker, and well, this is a problem. I could make it in a way so it doesn't query a coin that has been redeemed anymore in the future, but that won't solve the core issue. I will most certainly make a tracker for Coldkey, but that tracker could also have Satori, BTCC, and why not most of the documented physical bitcoin releases. Which would make the volume of addresses to update every day massive .. Potentially 100's of thousands of addresses to scan periodically. Satori itself has 50k addresses, and BTCC has a bit more from what I recall when I formatted the addresses. If I am to make that "Tracker to track them all", the previous issues will kick in. There are solutions : - Pay for an un-throttled access to a blockchain service API. - Host a copy of Bitcoin Core and some internal explorer, and have the tracker code to check balance against this setup. - Rent multiple servers (so multiple IPs to query blockchain APIs) that will have their own, different, set of addresses to query each day and feed result in a database. The tracker website would display the result of the daily updates. Please, can you share your opinions on the project, and also as collectors, on : - What data would you like to see displayed ? - Should public addresses be displayed ? - What features would you like to see ? |

c'est un disque de recup qui vient d'un serveur linux mis au rebut après un coup d'orage avec un switch et 2 autres petites machines,
j'y ai un peu pensé qu'il pouvait merder parce avec d'autres disques/os la machine fonctionne parfaitement.
la saisie en ligne de commande fonctionne normalement et s'exécute rapidement.

Essaie déjà de broadcaster une transaction BTC par satellite, ça ne nécessite pas forcément d'être synchro a la blockchain et là tu verras les problèmes de perf que tu peut avoir. A mon avis, ton setup est largement suffisant. Bitcoin, c'est très stupide comme réseau. Gourmand en ressources car tout "pèse lourd" et qu'il y'a beaucoup de calculs pour faire les vérifs, mais une fois que ton client est synchro, ça va. La clé SDR ?? Hah tu connais pas la clé SDR ? That will happen the day Theymos successfully hires precogs to help with the forum moderation and undermine the bad event from happening before it starts. What you recall here requires a massive work-load ! If alone the standard of evidence of theft was enforced, who shall we give that hammer ? Theymos ? I think he's overwhelmed with stuffs. Global mods ? This would only move the heat from a bunch of seats to a single one. Who is going to research the applicable laws ? Should the forum hire lawyers ? The current system has it's flaws, it is not perfect, but what could be the alternatives ? Si c'étais à l'époque où la Ubuntu 12.4 était en LTS, il y'a une forte probabilité que quelque chose défaille dans ton hardware. As tu essayé d'autres systèmes sur ton setup matériel ? La raison peut être aussi simple qu'un défaut sur le disque dur que tu as réceptionné. Ton projet est très intéressant ! Je suis très curieux de voir la suite. |

Malheureusement, c'est une possibilité. Pour moi, je range le Globalcoin dans la même case que Ripple, Tether, et tout autre crypto-actif fonctionnant sur une blockchain permissionnée. Les prétendues "crypto-fiat" voulues par certains états se rangeront dans cette catégorie. L'idée de perdre leur souveraineté monétaire est insupportable pour les gouvernements. (Quand je mentionne Bitcoin, je met aussi toutes les cryptos bâties sur les mêmes principes que Bitcoin dans le même sac) Mais quand voit qu'on ne peut rien faire contre Bitcoin, alors il faut devenir Bitcoin à la place de Bitcoin.  Ce ne sera que la forme de la monnaie qui va changer. Le fond sera toujours aussi puant, centralisé, permissionné, contrôlé. Peut être que l'illusion fonctionnera un certain temps, parce que les gens écouterons toujours ceux "qui veulent leur bien". Les dés sont jetés. Bitcoin fonctionnera toujours selon le même ensemble de règles, dans son noyau. Peut être qu'il y aura différentes surcouches pour rendre l'adoption plus massive. Puisque, dans le fond, les technos comme Facebook Coin seront radicalement différentes à Bitcoin, je pense que ça ne sera qu'un hoquet dans l'histoire de Bitcoin. |
