I like Chinese CPU coins. I think they will do well with all that support in China. What ever happened to RVDCoin? Has it died already or are the Chinese still mining it?

The real BitCoin alternative it's only ProtoShares/BitShares, all rest it's BitCoin analogs.  Really? That foundation premined botnet coin? Ofcourse the philoshopy behind the coin is great but the way it was mined the first week.. sure, they did a hardfork to "fix" thing but then they already mined 500.000 coin No, they didn't.. I did, along with hundreds of others who knew how to point VPS at it. Most of them still are. Why? Because once Bitshares and other DACs are released it will be the #2 coin. |

Okay let me get this straight.
You guys claim that quark was insta-mined by 10 people.. well then post the addresses. All I read is some guy said this and that. No one has proof. Not that I have seen anyways.
Here is my take on the whole quark is spread evenly..
When it was released it was worthless. Who the fuck in their right mind would point a botnet at it to mine millions of coins when they could have been mining something that was actually profitable. When Quark was released I pointed 3 or 4 of my computers at it and let them go. I don't recall seeing huge botnets mining it. There were a handful of miners with low hashrates like me. Right up until Digital Industry started making noise about the coin. Thats when people started to jump on it. Before there were about 50 workers on qrk.coinmine.pl now there are over 2000. I do believe that the coin was evenly distributed.
ya ya I know they could have used their botnet to solo it but is someone actually going to go to the trouble to setup a private pool to mine a worthless coin?

100% agreed Why don't you guys launching coins take some hints from other successful launches? A Pre announcement would have been nice along with all the binaries so anyone can mine those blocks worth 5000 coins each. There isn't much more than that. I'm sure the creation of the coin was 10x harder. Unless this is the new "pre-mine".. |

Right now I'm mining Worldcoin and Megacoin. I think those two are going places. If I had to pick one of the two I would go with Megacoin.

Good luck finding anything in stock. I had a hell of a time sourcing cards. I had to go to local computer stores and pick up whatever stock they had. Buy the new R9 series cards if you can. As for powered PCIe risers, lol good luck..

Buy a Saphire or MSI card with 2 or more fans. R9 280x - 740Kh/s - best bang for the buck. Good luck finding them after black friday.

If the company isn't the creator it doesn't mean the coin is dead though, I would suggest another name though if that is the case.

Ok, after looking at http://www.rvdmarkets.com/en/ that they claim to own. They accept Visa and Mastercard to fund USD on their site. "In the Сompany «RVD Markets Limited» processing of payments on bank cards is carried out by the processing center PayOnline.' If all this is true, it would allow people to buy Rvdcoin (btc too also?) with a bank card easily which would be huge.. This sites user base would explode overnight. Overclocking didn't make any change at all. topping around 570 kh atm.

Its not cpu or server farm resistant. Just look at the hash rates on qrk.coinmine.pl.. Lots of server farms there. Same with Secure Coin a Quark copy.

Who knows how far away they are from an actual working product. Right now with $3000.00 you can build yourself a nice 6 card 4500Kh/s rig. Yes, it eats electricity like a pig.
