Pre-ANNs are fine if done correctly.
DO NOT delay under any circumstances. If you announce a particular time you MUST launch at that time. Not doing so will bring down BTCtalk as we have seen time and time again. If this was my site I would ban Pre-Ann all together since it seems that no one can get it right.

Making this GPU proof is simple. Make it a primecoin fork with low starting difficulty around 7.0 or less. This will allow everyone with lower end cpus a chance at finding a block before the difficulty gets too high and favors only the overclocked i7's
A primecoin fork will also keep most of the pool operators away.

I reckon the coin is not distributed evenly, probably 3-5 individuals got around 50% of the current coin circulation. We need that pool badly, been running my 32cores since launch and its still at 0.
I have been running 280 cores since the windows wallet. Found 5 blocks up until about 8 hours after launch and nothing since. I think botnets, server farms and amazon instances have taken over now. |

I propose that max coins = 1. No decimals/fractional coins. 100% premine. Then you can fix the price at whatever you like.

This is why no ones tries anything new in crypto - bunch of tards crying that since coins arent just handed to them for showing up, its a fail launch. New algorithm that might actually do something slightly useful and everything isnt perfect for computer illiterate children = fail. And its actually better than any of the Scrypt clone launches recently  +1 Launch was fine, we had a windows wallet long before the reward was worth anything. On top of that its a new type of prime numbers coin! Now we can start building a community around it. |

win64 miner shows port 9332 in minerd, but conf file is a completely different port 28332. thus gives json errors access denied.
rpcallow=* didn't help
any tips?

What is with devs of these different coins lying about having windows binaries at launch?
My take on it is that these Linux developers are so smart that tackling windows binaries is easy, until they get to that part. |

You probbably do have 12 toolbars and plugins in your web browser with three trojans and a keylogger and you consider installing some more exe file which you don't have any idea how it looks alike ? well see you then.

So those who could solo mine at launch get rewarded 0, while everyone can prep their botnets and aws farms for block 1152, at which point solo mining will become fruitless. What fun times.

I was registered at 2 pools. One was official one = total piece of shit (devs must put a lot of people somewhere because they need to instamine at own pool) and other pool with 100Mhs found only 1 block for hour. Now diff is 30+ and I am asking why for the good sick. Because these coins are just for instant profit, no for long term. After a week this coin will worth shit like many other new "fair"coins.
