2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who was behind the bitcoin and some alts movement on: January 14, 2014, 08:07:26 PM
Last  few months bitcoin and some alts risen dramatically. So who really caused the big movement? The average people? If average people moved them this far how dramatic would be the movement after big  banks join in?

First jump was when US SEC identified BTC as a currency.

Then Chinese government decided that BTC is no good for its banks so that brought the price down.

The current rise is because of all the interest I gather. Not too sure..

Overstock.com just accepted BTC as payment last Friday. So.. now the trend starts for online retailers, then we see BTC to the moon and the alts follow suit shortly thereafter. (I hope)

2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Which Alt Coin will see the most growth in 2014? on: January 14, 2014, 08:01:30 PM
I like these polls but they are really irrelevant. Most coins already have value, they go up and down with BTC. So do I think there will be a replacement to BTC? No. Never going to happen. Will there be other cryptos out there? Most definitely, as there already are and they are worth money. I don't see XPM, LTC, PPC, along with many others ever loosing value to $0.00. That will never happen. They will only go up. All of them.

2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Nother coin idea on: January 14, 2014, 07:24:36 PM
Why not FTL Drive coin? How about Mach1 Coin? Thats a kewl name. How about Kewlcoin or fuckoffalreadywithallthesecoinscoin.

I have a GREAT idea, next time someone wants to make a coin. Have some services ready for it. A dice game, pool, plans to get your coin onto exchanges. Pre-mines that are actually used for betterment of the coin and not to line the devs pockets with scambux. How about a coin with a .05% pre-mine and you tell us up front what your keeping for yourself, giving away and using for bribes.

A cool name does not make a coin.

2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDe Strong on: January 14, 2014, 04:17:04 PM
The USDe Will be at .001 BTC within the month.

USDe will be .001/DOGE within the month is my prediction. I think its more accurate.
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TBC] The Bull Coin of 2014 , CPU Mining , Get ready to be a rich man ! on: January 14, 2014, 02:32:59 AM
premine 1% for dev.

Okay so you want my hashes for your block chain? lol .. no.. from the look of things others seem to think the same.

No pre-mine, low block reward first 1000 or so blocks is how its done. Check out how c-note did it.
2309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE (K address starting) NYAN is FAKE has VIRUS TROJAN MALWARE stay away on: January 13, 2014, 10:52:14 PM
The 9 NYAN aren't really keeping their word on their giveaways either.
I mined on bitember with cpu since the launch wi zero downtime and got one bonus of 250 according to the pool but which still hasnt been paid.
For such a massive premine, the giveaways have been pretty low.

THIS IS ALLWAYS THE CASE WITH PREMINE GIVEAWAYS! scam is as scam does.

Sorry for shouting, its something that needed to be shouted out loud.
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - renting & hiring of mining rigs on: January 13, 2014, 07:33:23 PM
I love it! Now I'm thinking I can make more money by investing in equipment and renting it out per hour.

2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE (K address starting) NYAN is FAKE has VIRUS TROJAN MALWARE stay away on: January 13, 2014, 06:31:03 PM
Thanks for the heads up but you do know that mining software generates false positives.

Regardless, both the NYAN coin releases are going nowhere fast. Invest in CAT if you like that meme sort of thing.

Yup, after 4 days difficulty drops. Based on just that one pool it looks like Molecule is doing quite well.

2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NEW][PHO]Photoncoin,CPU,Released January 7,2014 on: January 13, 2014, 02:42:36 PM
Finally failed. This is what needs to happen to all these copy/paste shit coins. Do not support these scammers who are here to steal your time. You are better off mining quark than this.

If you can't afford mining equipment or bitcoins then how to get coins? Make ALTS! lots and lots of ALTS! and premine the living shit out of them!!

200 million total supply and 2 million for the dev for a copy/paste job that took 15 minutes. yaya give away 10% of that then keep the rest. I know the MO. Seen it here many times. Even hear of people complaining of never getting their freebies. So.. whatever. People will fall for anything.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ** Scifi Coin Exchange ** Launching in 2 weeks on: January 13, 2014, 02:26:54 PM
People please, fuck off with the UFO crap coin. That coin was premined 1.5% and has a total money supply of 4 billion. The only person pushing it are instaminers, the dev and his sock puppet accounts.

OP, please be picky when it comes to coins on your exchange. Don't fall for these scam coins. No pre-mine, no insta-mine coins.

People have said every alt is a scam at some point - everyone here hated LTC about a year ago. Let the ecosystem and free market decide.

Thats not the point I was trying to make. Its very simple I will lay it out from a miner's perspective.

As miners we use our time and money (electricity and hardware) to mine coins and maintain the blockchains of these said coins. Why would I spend my time mining a coin that can be crashed by the developer? Lets say we mine UFO for 3 months and bring its value up to 4500 satoshi's. Thats great! now I have mined 1,300,000 coins and they are actually worth something! The Dev starts to dump his massive pre-mine on the exchanges. 1.5% of 4 billion is 600million. After a week our 3 months of effort is worthless. Now you can sit on your worthless UFOs that you spent 3 months mining. Maybe they go up maybe not. Likely the coin dies. This happens over and over again. Its the same developers copying coins and doing this. Until the exchanges stop accepting these massively premined coins they will keep being created. These so called devs are stealing miners time and resources. Open your eyes.

2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VLD] VanillaCoin | CPU Minable | NO PREMINE | Official Thread - [update] on: January 12, 2014, 05:09:43 PM
1- dev waited for about 500 block to give any node  and then tell not premined
2- diff in few sec was over 100  Huh
3- fuck this shit of coin

Dev, please comment on these accusations. Why no nodes at the beginning? Was there a premine?

This is nonsense. A-Team is an 80's show and the movie came out a few years ago. Do something current at least. This is going to get less interest than the Chuck Norris coin. Are you the same guy?

24 Million premine. No Thanks. microCoin wasn't premined and that one came out today. So I'll just keep mining that one.
