1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get FREE WEED by mining DopeCoins + Fox news what more could you want !? on: April 08, 2014, 07:51:47 PM
Sad, I used to have plants in my basement. Now I have GPU rigs. Only because my fucked in the head sister called the cops. Stoopid beyotch.

1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][0.8.6] Hirocoin - X11 - NGW - Secured Blockchain - Time Warp Limitation on: April 08, 2014, 07:34:14 PM
A successful scam coin, ninja launched at 2am. Then instamined by the developers and a few that were up late and caught it. Look at the first page, there are comments such as "its still low difficulty there is something wrong." That slow diff adjustment was on purpose so that the instamine could go on all night while everyone else was asleep.

Well, nothing is really wrong with the scam, it went off quite well. Now selling for 1400 satoshis..
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIRE] LIRA ELETTRONICA - ELECTRONIC LIRA - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR ITALY [X11] on: April 08, 2014, 07:14:55 PM
Love Italy.

I'll mine this if you can prove to everyone that you are an italian citizen.

How?

Hmm.. how about you go out and do some shopping. Find a Tigros marketplace. Buy... a box of Ferrero Rocher, make it a large one, and a bottle of Birra Morreti. Then scan the receipt and post it here. Make sure the date and time are clearly visible.
If you can't find a Tigros near you, you may go to Esselunga.

I believe this will be proof enough that you are at least living in Italy, if not an italian citizen.

Fair enough?
Sure Wink
And Birra Moretti not Morreti Tongue

indeed, sorry about that Smiley I always get the doubles wrong Tongue
Meanwhile i've only a PERONI (Italian beer)
And it's so cold!

Now I want one.

That an over sized bottle or just small hands?

1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should DigiByte be merge mined with Dogecoin? | NYC Crytpo Booth on: April 08, 2014, 06:52:17 PM
I believe the only thing this will accomplish is give "free coins" to people to dump. Every merge mined DGB is a DGB that person doesn't feel like they really had to mine for, it was a bonus. Why would they be inclined to hold it? Furthermore, why would a miner ever mine DGB directly when they can increase productivity by merged mining it? Won't this lead to an exodus of anyone interested in directly securing the network? Would this not just decrease buying interest and investor confidence in general?

I think merged mining is a fantastic idea for some coins, but DGB has already been birthed and lived with a different goal in mind. My concerns come mostly from an investor/miner's standpoint, so I guess my main question to you is - how do you see merged mining helping DGB achieve its goal of being an actively used consumer payment system?

You know, I want to disagree with you but cannot. I think this very thing is whats keeping Huntercoin's value low.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RESURRECTION] Taking Beecoin to the Hive, Bees Back Flying!New Client Update! on: April 08, 2014, 05:56:37 PM
No one seems to consider Grosetl as an alternative algo, curious as to why?

It runs cooler than X11, has CPU and GPU support and there is no negativity around it like there is with x11 and the mysterious optimized version supposedly out there.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check out the Quark Universe Easter Giveaway! on: April 08, 2014, 05:24:47 PM
35% of entrants will receive: 5 Quarks Each
10% of entrants will receive: 25 Quarks Each
5% of entrants will receive: 50 Quarks Each
1 Grand Prize: 250 Quarks

So the grand prize is 250 cents? or $2.50 USD. Kinda shitty and not worth the effort if you ask me.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Creator (Charlie Lee) Recommends Merged Mining with Dogecoin on: April 08, 2014, 04:47:22 PM
As far as I can tell anyone can buy ASICS. Same way as anyone can buy a shitload of GPUs. The rich get richer and the poor stay that way. Capitalism at its finest.

The point has come were in order to stay in the game you need to spend money, like any business. All I see here are a bunch of GPU owners crying about having to spend money, trying to convince to world to stop progressing so they can continue to milk their cash cow. Well guess what, thats not going to happen, ASICS will rule scrypt and we with GPU farms will mine other coins for now.

1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rebrand Darkcoin? on: April 08, 2014, 01:59:43 PM
I'm a fan of the name. A professional will probably tell us it should be changed. I think what is holding back the coin is not the name, but rather the non final implementation of DarkSend. Once that is finalized I believe it will be locked into the crypto market regardless of it's name. (I will not vote, I should be considered biased.)

Whats holding back the coins is the fact that it was instamined by botnets or the dev or someone at launch. The coin was released as source only. No compiled binaries. I'm surprised that it has gained this much traction with that failed launch.

1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MatrixCoin (MTX) - SHA256 Coin - Bounties ~ Exchange! on: April 08, 2014, 01:11:57 PM
Because for one I am not a child. Secondly your opinion doesn't matter to me? You are pretty immature by making accusations and flaming my thread. Your like the 80% of the typical internet troll. No one cares about you. I am a lead graphic designer irl. Coins are my hobby and Matrixcoin is my most successful launch thus far, I will be creating new coins and developing further, everyone has to start somewhere. Just like you, your trying to become a hated troll. I just have bigger ambitions. Now I am really done wasting my time on you. Got to get back to developing! Smiley

You just don't get it do you?

Coins are my hobby

I will be creating new coins

You have stated that this is your hobby.  It's costing people time and money to mine this hobby of yours.

Why will you be creating new coins?  For what purpose other than to satisfy your hobby?

No new coins are needed.  There is already a glut of shitcoins.  200+ on coinmarketcap and at least another couple hundred like yours.

It's people like you that are destroying the credibility of cryptocurrency.  You clowns just keep pumping out shitcoin after shitcoin.  But hey it's your hobby.  Who cares about the future of cryptocurrency as long as you're having fun right?

Your bigger ambitions are getting one of your shitcoins in the top 100 so that you might be able to make some btc with you're premine/instamine before abandoning it and moving onto the next one.  People like you are a dime a dozen and easily seen for the frauds that you are.  Unless your one of the fools on this board that jump at every new shitcoin launch hoping to strike it rich.

Oh, I forgot to add, you stated "Because for one I am not a child.".  Your little temper tantrum that you sent to me via PM says otherwise.

THE IPO IS CANCELLED DUE TO NEGATIVE ACTIVITY FORM FRAUDULENT USERS! ALL BTC PAID WILL BE REFUNDED TO USERS.

There is a network of scammers that post bad things about a coin and then demand BTC to erase the posts: scam_exposer and sitefive.

This is the proof a PM sent to us, now they demand us BTC to erase all those posts:

Now we know what were they real reasons. I hope that maybe that is not the real reason and they can apologise now for the things they said. That will prove them to be not scammers and maybe they were just wrong about us.

We are now just going to launch the coin without an IPO. We have erase the IPO from main post. Just to proof these people they were doing lies and trying to make schemes with posting bad stuff then demand BTC to erase the posts. We will launch the coin!

As soon as we communicate with our web developer will update the site about it too.

EDIT: thimo is not part of this PMs, please don't hold anything bad about him or post bad things in his thread. We wish them good luck with their coin. Our apologies.

Shutup Scam Exposer, we all know you run the real SCAM

Wow, Thank you for showing everyone this. That explains a lot! Smiley Matrixcoin is running strong and my other coin release Hashcoin (X11 coin) has been released as well!

Wow that is bold. This simply justifies every new coin launch to be a self moderated thread.

1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MatrixCoin (MTX) - SHA256 Coin - Bounties ~ Exchange! on: April 08, 2014, 01:09:19 PM
How many coins did you just launch? The one from last night, I think you called it HASH is broken. You need to fix it.

1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hashcoin (HASH) - X11 - DGW V2 - Automatic Checkpoints - Instant Confirms! on: April 08, 2014, 01:06:07 PM
dark coin clone launched with a bad launch time again LOL

fuck this shit

what if op is Oriental is it a bad launch time for him?

OP doesn't matter, only the miners matter. How is it you guys don't understand this?
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ******SPACE INVADERS easy, easy solo mine this now********** on: April 07, 2014, 07:17:18 PM
difficulty adjusts every 3 days

Insta-mining this bitch!.. Oh this brings back fond memories from before the days of KGW. Back when jumping on new coins at launch was actually worth it..

Plus Space Invaders is the first video game I ever played, yes I'm that old.

1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MH370C!!!!To Mourn MH370!!And give love to the world! on: April 07, 2014, 03:46:00 PM
So people are offended yet the other scams are somehow okay? I'm offended when I see daily IPO IPCO scams and nothing is done.

You know, I keep thinking about this but feel I should say something. The owner(s) of BTCTalk.org should be concerned with these scams popping up on their site. If the authorities ever decide to get involved they could be seen as enablers for not doing anything. I'm not sure how the law works in this case and I'm sure its different for every country/jurisdiction. Just something to consider going forward.

To fix this problem all that has to happen is IPO coins get banned. I would even go further and ban pre-mined coins as I don't believe in bribery. If a coin can gain community traction on its own accord its a coin that has a reason to exist and is worthy of being mined and traded.

1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIDEN | First Crypto to use Scrypt-OG (Optimized for GPU) [altaccept.com] on: April 07, 2014, 02:43:07 PM
I here too 35Mh. Blocks not moving.. Pool is changing difficulty, now 7200.

We still trying to crack that block?
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] should Litecoin merge with Dogecoin; Charlie Lee says yes. on: April 07, 2014, 02:10:47 PM
Merge mining scrypt coins is the way to go. Its a win win scenario for both miner and the network security of the coin. The future of scrypt is merge mining with scrypt asics.

1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RBC]we give all our rambocions to cryptocurrency fans for free on: April 04, 2014, 03:36:14 PM

1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts about Spoetnik ** MUST READ ** on: April 04, 2014, 02:08:10 PM
Wow, that is certainly eloquent, far better than anything I could mash together. Am I the only one that read both walls of text?

1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][BDC]The birth of BLACK DRAGON COIN: unique scrypt-jane fantasy coin on: April 03, 2014, 04:08:39 PM
Your choice of Scrypt-Jane is a good one. X11 is flawed https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=18166.msg152706#msg152706

I also hear that some people have optimized X11 miners while everyone else is using SGMiner.
