2881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION LEVERAGING ON BLOCKCHAIN FOR COVID 19? on: April 10, 2020, 05:31:19 PM
It’s a good news, but I don’t really see a reason why some people are cheering this lol. It’s good that they have adopted the Blockchain at this time for the purpose of keeping accurate data on the pandemic. But you’re wrong in the direction you’re taking it lol; from the way you have explained things here, I understand that you think this is going to promote cryptocurrency, if that’s what you think then I’m sorry it’s not going to work like that.

They have a different purpose for making use of the Blockchain and it’s completely different from what you think, they are heading a different direction, but I do love what they have done here, it shows how useful the Blockchain technology can be in times like this, it can bring the world together.
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Platforms. on: April 10, 2020, 09:00:40 AM
Was there some requirements to be included on the list
There should be... at least as per my wish. Like only crypto based gambling houses should be listed and moreover only the houses who are providing support through this community alone should be listed. When a gambling house is not caring their reputation on this community, they never deserve a place at any part of this forum.

I am not sure what are criteria OP is following still the way they are listing with categories must be good to have on these isolation times. I guess we may hope for more fine tuning to be added for this list so that it may turn as a quick guide for crypto gamblers for choosing their preferred gambling houses which will be satisfying all their choosing criteria.
2883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: April 10, 2020, 07:46:44 AM
Once people don't have enough knowledge about gambling most of their think that all effects of the gambling is bad.
But actually it turns only bad results gambling if the player not control their self for sure most of the outcome will not good.
There are examples for positive and negative consequence of gambling and I believe people are taking only positive examples of gambling and this is the reason everyone want to mimic similar to that and only 1% of people are getting chances to repeat. The rest of 99% of new gamblers do become as negative example and unfortunately no one is ready to learn lessons from them.

Whether what between the good or bad side of gambling overcomes the opposite one, relies only on the gambler himself who experienced both.
That must be a plain truth here. Only for an experienced gambler, it will be possible to make use of their bitter experience into maximizing positive consequence of gambling or at least for avoiding negative effects of gambling in future. To overcome the negative effects of gambling, most of the gamblers are simply choosing the easiest way which must be "quitting gambling".

In my opinion the gamblers who opt to quit after many negative consequence are right as they at least will not suffer any more even they will lose the possibility of finding good effects in future.
2884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 09, 2020, 07:07:38 PM
I doubt we can really go beyond 11k these days, not before halving at least, correction sounds reasonable if it really goes that high but I doubt it can these days. Surely it can stay above 7k until halving, maybe go down for a while but at least be around these prices and eventually stay above 7k (even if it drops under 7k for a while).

However I believe around 8-9k is more reasonable for a bullish increase, not that it is impossible to go to 11k but it requires a lot of money to be used in purchasing bitcoin and the world economy is not really doing all that well so far which is why I doubt it. With something like 8k you are not just talking about the money coming it but also sellers going out, so it is more reasonable to expect such price.
2885  Economy / Gambling / Re: exbet.io | The Bitcoin Betting Exchange on: April 09, 2020, 03:22:41 PM
-snip-
Looks like a good idea. Actually, many gamblers included me give the esports a shot. After winning small amounts, it becomes more interesting to go further and check other sections of the esports. The lack of sports betting force the gambling addiction people to test the new sections of the online gambling websites and the gambling sites which have the mentioned features will start the match 1-0 score.
Right? I mean esports is definitely not any of us first choice (or maybe SOME of us I don't know) and I know that when regular sports comes back people will move back to that for sure but we all tasted the blood on the air, I think we all will continue to gamble on esports years and just lower the amount we put into it, or maybe some people will stop gambling on esports all together but there will still be some people who liked it and will stay and not move back to regular sports as well.

I think adding esports can't really hurt, you are not removing anything, you are not giving less options to gamble, you are actually adding something and I don't see how that could hurt your business.
2886  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that Freebitco.in game is not provably fair. on: April 09, 2020, 07:02:05 AM
You can calculate if your number is the one they said it was...

IF thres anyone who has an old account of this site (freebitco.in, and i mean OLD, like under the USER ID: 600000) and dont use it, i would like to buy it, anyone interested send me and MP  Grin

My account there is old, but not that much. User ID 1.535.000! Smiley
For people who wish to check hash and calculate number https://dicesites.com/provably-fair. Anyone can follow the steps and check any hash from any dice site. It was interesting for me to check hashes here and there in the beginning, but I don't do it anymore. Gambling is gambling, if you don't believe in casino choose another, if you need to check them all the time what's the point in that?!
Mine is quite old, it is 291k range, I don't know what that means or how that would really change anything at all, anyone who creates a brand new account and anyone who has an old account has the same chances that other people have, except of course I get a lot more for my freerolls because I have been wagering there for years now, considering I have been around here for probably over half a decade, I think it is fair that I am getting more for my freerolls but I have always get them so they are not that high, could have been even higher if I didn't claimed them but whats the point if they give me even 100 bitcoin per free roll if I am not going to get it, they can offer me a million bitcoins and wouldn't make a difference if I don't claim, so now its like 300 or so maybe 400 lately I don't recall. Everything else is exactly the same though.
2887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My record of information about gambling investments. on: April 09, 2020, 04:38:16 AM
Honestly there are so many times I wished I was capable of stopping myself from gambling with the investment money but it is not easy, usually the websites make the investment part so close to gambling that, it could literally take 4-5 clicks TOTAL to move the money from investment to casino to gambling, with just 4-5 clicks I would be basically gambling.

Go to casino 1, go to investment tab 2, withdraw to bankroll 3, go to casino part 4, click on dice roll 5, see I used just 5 clicks and the last one basically rolled the dice so gambled. Of course that is our issue as gamblers/investors and has nothing to do with the casino, they are not doing anything wrong and it is actually a good UI to allow people to be able to do whatever they want with just few clicks, it is us who have to control ourselves.
2888  Economy / Gambling / Re: exbet.io | The Bitcoin Betting Exchange on: April 08, 2020, 08:10:53 PM
I know that you are not fully open yet and considering you will be widely available only when the sports leagues will come back, I can understand why you wouldn't feel the rush to add in esports because that makes sense and lines up perfectly. However, right now the whole world basically stopped and saw the greatness of esports because it can be played at home and can be played whenever people want, even during a pandemic, do you really think that it will go away after the corona ends?

People will suddenly stop gambling there? They got a taste for it already during this period and I am pretty sure they will want more of it in the future when this pandemic is over (or at least not as deadly anymore). Do what you want of course, it is your own website, but I would suggest adding esports further.
2889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Iker Casillas When this Nightmare Ends, We will play a Classic Vintage on: April 08, 2020, 07:48:17 PM
Honestly they do these "old school players game" time to time but I haven't really seen too much of that recently (not recently recently, I haven't seen a regular game recently as well:D, I mean this whole year). With corona gone and all of these people really wanting to go out and play as well, because they have been stuck for a long time and would want a big bang to get all the jitters out, I think it could actually be a league concept.

Not something huge, not a big one, maybe even futsal type of small place instead of a huge regular pitch, but think about 8 on 8 and 5-6 teams, that could very well happen. In NBA there is BIG3 that allows old school basketball players to continue playing, maybe we need something like that for football as well? Wouldn't you love to watch 40+ stars play football again?
2890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 08, 2020, 07:13:25 PM
I don't get people who take a look at the volume of USDT and think that it is a trusted currency right away just because of it. I am sorry but even bitcoin cash and ripple has high volumes but nobody should trust them neither, these are coins all centralized and all controlled from one source and I will never believe into something that has a centralized place.

USDT basically has the tether company, tomorrow that company could come up and tell everyone "sorry people, we are no longer supporting it and you can't get dollars for it anymore" and the whole currency will be waste of digital ones and zeros all of a sudden, in like a minute. Same goes for all the centralized ones like BCH, BSV, XRP all of them could literally worth zero tomorrow if the owners want to, I will never trust a coin like that.
2891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is BCH∙BSV’s upcoming halving event affecting its prices? on: April 08, 2020, 05:50:20 PM
Well, it is obvious that people do not really care about BSV one, that is not miners coin nor it is anyone's coin, it is purely Craigs coin and some people may want to make some money from it but in the end nobody really wants to hold it or be the owner of it, if they can make a quick buck from it that is awesome but that's it, nobody wants nothing more than that.

BCH on the other hand is a bit different, it is a miners coin and miners got together to build it, mainly Jihan Wu and Roger Ver of course but they do have some miner backing as well, some small timers do not like them but other big ones do find parallel wishes with them so I can see that one going up a bit, maybe not to a huge place because of corona virus going around but I still see it doing quite well.
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: April 07, 2020, 09:02:27 PM
Do you really think that the whole casino business in the would would be able to live forever if there was absolutely nobody winning?

I mean surely the house edge makes sure that you lose "in the long term" but if lets say you go into casino with 10k, you go to roulette table, you put it all on red, it actually comes red and than you get another 10k, leave with your 20k and go home, can anybody stop you?

Is there a way that NEVER happens? Of course not, you can do that and you can win. The only thing that makes the casinos happy is the fact that thanks to house edge there are thousands of people play there all the time, which results with that house edge actually making a profit because winners do not win as much as the losers lose and that difference is their profits.
2893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 07, 2020, 07:47:52 PM
I am not entirely sure if that is even possible, I mean think about it if there were machines that could test withing minutes, the whole nations would have gotten it by now, it would have been basically done to every single human, however instead we are dealing with tens of thousands of people a day right now, still a good number of course but not unlimited like this article makes the machine sound like.

In the end it is always good to see NBA working towards corona virus, they are super ultra rich and the money they are putting into this would help NBA (which is why they are doing) but it would eventually help other people as well indirectly. Has anybody heard about what the salary cut thing resulted with? There was talks about something between 25% to 50% cut for this years money, I don't know what happened with it.
2894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 07, 2020, 08:36:36 AM
I agree on all of them and they are basically common sense stuff that you should be figuring out yourself without really seeing anything but at the same time it would be wiser to actually realize these people who do not follow these rules also do know these rules but still can't follow anyway.

I mean think about it, a person who takes a loan to gamble, do you really think that he doesn't realize how deeply disturbing what he is doing? But they are addicted so you can't really stop them at all. Or a person who spends so much money on gambling that they hurt their family with lack of funds for stuff they need to live with. These guys who do not follow this 6 steps actually knows what they are doing yet they are doing it again because they are addicted and have problems.
2895  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that Freebitco.in game is not provably fair. on: April 05, 2020, 09:17:51 PM
Honestly bitcoin dice gambling has been around for probably around a decade now, satosidice was the first one and I do not remember when it first ever started but it must be getting close to a decade nowadays, or maybe one year away. With all of that in mind, can people still be shocked that they can lose too many times in a row? That happens when you gamble too much, you also win too many times in a row as well but in martingale you do not realize it all that much unfortunately.

Just realize already that in a long enough period of time people will lose too many times in a row that martingale is not a perfect idea, if it was everyone would do martingale and get rich and casinos would bankrupt, the only reason why casinos are still standing is the fact that eventually you will lose.
2896  Economy / Economics / Re: We support health care in the fight against coronavirus. Join us! on: April 05, 2020, 08:01:00 PM
This is what crypto can achieve and this is why it needs to be more widely available all around the world and accepted in a lot more places. Crypto basically allows you to connect with people financially all over the world and that is really the biggest thing that nobody really talks about too much. When you are in some X country that is far away from a Y country, you can send each other as much as billions or as little as a dollar, or even less, cents, less than cents. This is the real awesomeness of crypto.

Plus, we have also done a lot of charitable work as well as crypto, this is just one example of it but there has been a ton of crypto charities going around in the past decade as well. Do you know why there were really successful? Because it can get money from every single person around the world.
2897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stimulus plus halving could cause the real crypto bull on: April 05, 2020, 05:51:40 PM
Normally, the stimulus should have the impact of giving companies a lot cheaper access to money, that money used for expanding the business or at least keep it afloat, pay the workers their salaries and keep the money making churning until all of this over and then go back to what it was.

However as we can see companies take advantage of this situation, still fire people, still not grow, still basically do nothing to make the country more profits, only take that money and make a bigger profit for themselves and pay the CEO huge sums of cash in bonuses to continue like what they do, only the shareholders and CEO makes money, nobody else makes any money at all. Hopefully, they will eventually start hiring back because there is still  so many unemployed people out there who will need jobs when this is all over.
2898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin last forever? on: April 05, 2020, 10:56:52 AM
I doubt we will ever see another coin replacing bitcoin, we will probably see "something" replace bitcoin eventually but probably not another coin. Right now we are talking about crypto currency that is backed by blockchain and all of them race each other, bitcoin is so high that it worths more than all of the other ones combined together, that tells me that no other coin will ever pass bitcoin, some other one might become second and beat ethereum one day, it all depends on if there is a good one and if ethereum falls, but nothing could pass bitcoin if you ask me.

However that doesn't mean that something much better than blockchain and crypto will never come, maybe with technology there will be something that is a better version of blockchain and we will start using that instead.
2899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 05, 2020, 08:29:51 AM
do you registerhow much you separate for gambling?
do you see it as an investment?
I understand that you are questioning about how much money people here are allocating for gambling purposes and spending money for gambling is an investment for a fee for entertainment? I never have a budget for gambling anymore as I have already lost big money in gambling. From my own experience, gambling should not be considered as an investment opportunity hence expecting a return for the money you gamble with, will definitely lead further big losses as you may start chasing your losses if you consider entire gambling as an income stream.

if yes, how do you track it?
simples spreadsheets, physical notebooks or maybe some different way?
When I was an intensive gambler I do track my all gambling activities with a spreadsheet. Because, I gambled at least 5 different gambling houses at a time with different strategies; to keep track of my bankroll and strategies, I needed some references and from that I developed the habit of tracking them with a sheet.

But, I suggest everyone NOT to go in gambling into a level where you need a spreadsheet to keep your records. Just gamble with your least affordable money and then forget it regardless of you make profits or not. Again start as a new gambler with fresh mindset yet with least money and enjoy your gambling and leave it for some time and then repeat!
2900  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: April 04, 2020, 09:01:28 PM
There is couple of stuff wrong with that link though. First of all is it just me or do you only see from 18th of march to today, I can't see anything before that, I would love to see some sort of chart that is basically exactly the same but from all of 2020 which we could analyze a lot better to see if lockdown had any affects or not. Secondly this is a second hand place, its not directly from bustabit and I am not 100% trusting a third party with the numbers devans could provide.

I still think we should wait for devans to provide some sort of chart himself, that would be a lot better and further back and more trustworthy. However, it is not something he has to share neither, he doesn't have to do it and that is something I can totally understand if he doesn't.
