3081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano a steal at current prices ? on: January 25, 2020, 05:15:16 AM
ADA has always been a developers favorite type of thing but they have failed the utility thing for years now and that is why they couldn't get any higher. They have to stop focusing on making the best coin possible in technology sense and should start focusing on what they can do to get ada accepted in many more places. If there is nowhere that accepts cardano ever, whats the point of having one? That is literally how people started to think, its cool to buy and sell but can I spend it as well?

If there is no spending, why would people buy it aside from as an investment, people are looking for coins that have other purposes than just buying and selling nowadays. Sure there could be some small time things I am not aware of but compared to big ones like btc, eth, eos so forth ada is not used at all.
3082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we estimate changes in volitions and value of the prices in exchange on: January 24, 2020, 05:53:08 PM
Lol, that is true. There is likely so many data involved with these that there is absolutely no way we could ever know it beforehand. Plus, let's not forget that there are always whales lurking around so they could end up doing something unexpected and we would be just looking at the prices like "what the hell happened". Long story short never try to shortcut anything in bitcoin world, sure you could try to find a way to predict volatility and values but in the end there is no value of bitcoin other than what people give it to be, there is no price of it like a product on a shelf.

I personally always said that whatever price bitcoin you think should be is the price of bitcoin for you, as long as you don't have to spend it on something, all you do is buy it cheaper and wait until it reaches your price.
3083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 4years Cylce by Bob lukas on: January 24, 2020, 05:10:24 PM
Looking at bitcoin cycles has always been a thing in peoples minds, maybe some people are still looking at less than 4 years because honestly 4 years is a very long time, however there are still people doing that all the time.

The difference is, if you want to look at yearly cycles (which is the most common one) you are probably a long term buyer, you are not looking at one year intervals because you want to buy now and sell at night, you are looking at it because you want to invest and forget since that is literally what the chart will tell you to do. That is why people do look at the yearly cycles, okay maybe not 4 year ones but at least yearly ones but they are very rare since there are not many people who go "I shall not touch my bitcoins for 5+ years but also would like to know the previous yearly cycles as well to destine when I should buy too" type, surely a lot less who do it for 4 year cycles as well which is a lot more rare than yearly ones.
3084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: These projects will go big in 2020, I assume. on: January 24, 2020, 04:16:33 PM
I don't get people supporting coins that are so low in the charts, I mean sure if you want to invest into a very risky but potentially rewarding thing I can honestly say kudos but I would literally suggest no one to do something like that. When ethereum is on the verge of a new breakthrough, when vechain is building so many partnerships, bnb making headlines every single day with anything binance does, monero improving their system as well, why would you need to find something small to make more money.

If you don't accept 20% increase on a full year as good, you will never be rich enough, if you keep focusing on 10x or 100x profits you will eventually lose all of your money, the things that "may" give you 10x or 100x are insanely risky, sure its not impossible but is very very low odds.
3085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Okay. What is the main factor that boosts Altcoin value? Popularity or Tech? on: January 24, 2020, 03:35:13 PM
Probably marketing would still take the number one spot because no matter how awesome your coin could be, without marketing you have no chance to get to be known by other people. However after the ICO stage and it has been few years since your coin is on the market, you know people like it or not, if people do like it they end up buying it all the time and keep talking about it and it would be popular, if people stop caring about it and sell it the price would go down and it would be forgotten a long time ago.

So technology is important, where you can use it is even more important, but these are what you care only after the first year or so, first year only marketing is quite enough to get as many people involved as you can. I would only care about where you can use it probably more than any other tho.

Well I went on Pukki to be honest , even if he's not in a great form every dog has it's day Cheesy . So maybe this weekend will be Pukki's day.
Pukki was great at the start of the season, that was his thing, he just has been rusty for a while and I am sure he will pick himself up back very soon, hopefully this week if possible. I didn't know Auby was off with a red card neither, I will change that as well and hopefully this week I will have at least 5/7 with at least something to earn even if it is not a 7/7 which looks more and more impossible every single day.

Honestly, the biggest handicap has always been spurs without Kane, dude looks like the most common option to pick whenever Spurs play, even tho anyone else can score, Kane scoring is a lot more easier, many people picked Alli this week but that is like "might as well" pick and not something any of us really trust to be fair. Same with Auby because picking someone else for Arsenal is very difficult, Pukki or cantwell is very challenging as well, aside from that, other 4 picks looks solid for everyone else.
3089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 04:57:02 PM
I think this is a good decision, after all "credit card" means you may spend money you don't have on gambling as well which is probably the worst thing that could ever happen. UK gamblers could potentially still buy bitcoin with their credit card and gamble with bitcoin which is a sad situation I know but it could potentially still happen.

On the other hand, I would suggest all nations to follow directly, you should be able to gamble with the money you have, but never should gamble with money you don't have, we have heard so many people who go into big debts over gambling and screw their own life, that is not really something we could really support as a world, some people maybe addicted like drugs or drinking so we should try to help them as much as possible with laws.
3090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2020 betting on: January 15, 2020, 04:18:01 PM
I can understand 1917 getting the biggest possibility because it was really not a "acting movie" like for example marriage story was, it was a success mostly due to its director. However at the same time, Joker was a great movie, I get that Joaquin was the person who made that movie, director played a great role in it as well, I didn't watched parasite so I can't comment on that but I certainly feel like Todd deserves it more than Tarantino at least possibly even more than Scorsese.

Plus, seeing Scarlett Johansson at both best actress for marriage story AND best supporting actress for Jojo Rabit, I don't know if that is a common thing in Oscars, I just can't recall anyone having a chance to win both of those awards before, would be very weird to see honestly but it looks like she has a low chance for both of them.
3091  Economy / Economics / Re: CEO of $150B investment fund says:it's just about time for the dollar to weaken on: January 15, 2020, 03:42:42 PM
All three reasons are quite solvable solutions but they just basically ignore it, I blame it on the american political system being built on bribes and donations so much and how politicians are basically in the pockets of the companies which is why it can never be fixed unless they take the money out of politics.

Foreigners are leaving USA depends on where you are from, some people leave because they are not wanted there (like middle east people who are treated badly by republican places) and all the Europeans saw that USA basically screwed itself and better to be in EU than USA, Asians are not leaving that frequently because that is still better to be in USA.

Fed can have a law that says it has to pass congress to print money and we would solve it instantly, but there is this cry for fed to be independent when Fed is basically banks friend so it is not independent, instead of politicians, bank CEO's decide on what FED does and that is not acceptable at all, if it was truly free and independent I would say that is best option but it is not like that, budget deficit is not easy to solve, that is actually a quite difficult thing to figure out how to stop.
3092  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain Usage In Mainstream Examples on: January 15, 2020, 03:09:15 PM
I think amazon started to do use blockchain for their warehouse systems, they are currently hiring blockchain developers as well and they have managed to make a lot of personalized blockchain services on their AWS as well, those are all billion dollar systems we are talking about here, aside from that JP Morgan has hired bunch of blockchain developers to build an inside the house blockchain systems that could track the movements of their financial activities as well.

I know there are smaller ones but these kinds of billion dollar things even tho rare are very important to us, that shows that huge compaies are turning their eyes to blockchain and its benefits which means it is only helpful to make blockchains stand in the world even more permanent than ever.
3093  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coins massive development and USA dollar on: January 14, 2020, 12:37:33 PM
I only wish governments made their own stablecoins, that would mean that they actually care about crypto a bit more and they don't want their public to be scammed by places like Tether. However, I doubt it will become a reality, not now at least and thats why I think no decent government will make their own stablecurrency, maybe some small nations in debt may do it like how Venezuela tried their Petro for example but I don't think we will see USA government do stablecoin or UK or any major EU country neither.

Still, if they ever decide to do something like that we shouldn't just be against it, we should support it so that we would have something decent that won't be a scam in the end, sure it is governments and they want something obviously out of that but at least they won't scam us.
3094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any further forecast? on: January 14, 2020, 11:49:48 AM
There is still a long way to go before we can call this a bull run, we are on a good run and I am not going to try to steal that fun out of people by saying it is a bull trap neither because bull traps usually happens faster, when the price is so high for so long that is not really a bull trap, when it is going up people buy to be part of that going up thing and price then plummets which is what a bull trap is, when you are over $8k for weeks that is not really a "trap" anymore. This is why I feel like we had a good increase but not big enough to call a "bull", not every increase in price has to be a bull, it is just a simple regular increase, it is also not a bull trap, our people have to realize (wall street people already know this) not all increases are bulls and not all drops are bears.
3095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano a steal at current prices ? on: January 14, 2020, 10:45:57 AM
Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for cardano, I mean they are really working hard and improving the development part of the coin and that is great however that is not enough for a coin to go up, there is barely any community behind it and the ones they have are not that much rich.

I called cardano "developers coin" once because they had a github that they worked on basically every single day for record breaking days in a row, that was a real true test of how much they care. There are a lot of complaints thrown at them as scam or shady and I don't know about that personally, maybe they scammed people, maybe they are shady, but from looking at it, even without that they are not really going to skyrocket anytime soon. Only hope for ADA holders is to hope for it to have a pump and dump and put some sell orders at high.
3096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 03:22:27 AM
Everyone suggest ethereum but I think there is a big chance EOS has a good year as well, there has been a lot of discussions about how ethereum may not end up doing the hard fork or even if it would make that much change. Remember the Istanbul hard fork is not the thing that will change it to second market cap to over bitcoin all of a sudden, it is a good change but that is about it.

EOS doesn't have anything major neither and I doubt it will have anything important this year but EOS has been getting more and more attention due to dapps and people buy more EOS and spend it rather than just buy it and sell it, so that is a good reason for a possibility of EOS to go up in price this year. I may be wrong about this but the "possibility" is certainly there for sure.
3097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing Price On 2019? What do you think this year 2020 will be? on: January 13, 2020, 05:13:10 PM
I think looking at just one specific time frame of bitcoins price is never really the smartest move, I mean with the same logic we could look at every February to march levels of bitcoins price and we wouldn't have that $20k peak times in the list neither, I think it is more generally looking at the average price of bitcoin in one whole year.

Definitely, we had one $20k time for example but look at 2017 as a general and you will see that average is significantly lower, plus the 2018 as well where it dropped to as low as 3 thousand dollar levels as well, so as you can see the average of bitcoin carries more weight to me than just the peak prices, the bottom is not really a better approach neither because it only shows the bottom of it, I try to avoid those two end prices and look at the averages.
3098  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hash Rate Continue to Surge! on: January 13, 2020, 04:16:38 PM
I don't understand how even while we are getting so close to halving the hash rate goes into so much higher. Are the miners just trying to have more and more mining equipment to cover the difference so that they can have higher hashrate and faster once again but also gain more money somehow?

Not talking about small miners which will be in the toughest positions but the miners who are basically whales in the mining industry that are making their killing right now thanks to having most of the hashrate and as soon as halving happens these "increased" hashrates will be shown that it was the whales and the small ones will leave the sector while letting the whales make most of the money. I mean making 300 bitcoins a day on the 1800 bitcoin per day of today and making 300 bitcoins a day on the 900 it will be after halving is the same to them anyway, so maybe they are going for that?
3099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weekly Update: Is the BTC bear market over? on: January 13, 2020, 03:46:36 PM
We can't call it really "over" just yet because we need to see some sort of bigger movements for bitcoin to call that, yes we had a good increase recently but that doesn't mean that we are out of bear right away, right now it got a bit more stagnant once again and that is really hurting our call for a bull run, that is why I think another increase is required.

Of course, this is a better situation we are in now than just a month ago when bitcoin price was trying to push under 7 thousand dollars but that is kinda what happens when the price tries to go lower and fails so whales get that it won't go down more that easily so instead of pushing even harder and spending even more money they just decide the easy way is to go up and that is what we are living right now with this price.
3100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 12, 2020, 05:38:35 PM
Let's be honest Lakers won without Lebron or AD but at the same time if they didn't had Lebron or AD they would be around the playoff fight right now at most and wouldn't be this high up. Sure they beat a very hot streak OKC but that was due to players having their best games like Kuzma and Rondo (rondo probably circled this on the calendar as "lets kick CP3's ass" game as well).

Hopefully Lebron gets better very quickly, it was just a simple cold he had but sometimes that takes away of your conditioning like hell, remember the last time you had fever and then think about being required to run and play like that, if I were Lakers I would just keep Lebron to a rest for at least a week to not really risk anything further, plus it would make him happy as well to spend time with his kids and all.
