2541  Economy / Speculation / Re: History shows Bitcoin price may take 3-12 months to finally break $20K on: September 16, 2020, 06:00:17 PM
I really can't believe that people really do not care about looking at the future and not the past and people think that is fine.

I mean sure if you want to look at the past please do it, learn from mistakes if you want to, however if you think one thing that happened in the past will happen again and again, you should buy bitcoin every November and sell it every December so that you can max profit, you don't do it do you? Bitcoin went from $3k in 2017 November to 20k December 2017, if same thing happens why don't you try to do that once again?

Nobody does it because we know past doesn't happen over and over again. Hopefully you will realize that this example can be applied to every single one, there is no way people could ever be actually repeating the same thing over and over.
2542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is It The Best Time to Sell Ethereum (ETH) on: September 16, 2020, 05:06:48 PM
Whenever you need money for something is the best time to sell ethereum. If you really need the money in real life for something, you should totally sell it, real life expenses are more important than savings, if you have savings but make a debt, that debt will eat up your savings anyway and makes no sense, the only reason why you should have savings in the first place is to pay for unexpected stuff you might face. So, if you need to pay for something, sell it.

However if you do not have any payments to be made and the only reason you want to sell eth is because you think it will go down and you want to get out before losing more money, you should definitely keep holding it because in the end with eth 2.0 it will go to levels it never reached before.
2543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: September 16, 2020, 04:04:13 PM
People should not have plans for the "upcoming bull" honestly, they should have plan for long term bull which is inevitable according my *extensive research*, all jokes aside millions of people agree that bitcoin will one day be higher in price, maybe it will find all time high ever at $20k, maybe $100k, or maybe one day it will be a million dollars 5 decades from now, who knows what the highest will be but the common agreement is the fact that it will go up.

This is why I believe that it should be quite easy to have a plan to buy now, and wait for yeeeaaaaars before you end up selling. If you could plan for that instead of the short upcoming bull which would make you maybe 20% profit which is not bad but not life changing, you could actually have a life changing amount.
2544  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun-Most trusted & coolest looking provably fair blackjack in Market on: September 15, 2020, 06:04:26 PM
I am impressed with the way that you all take the feedback of the users seriously and wherever possible also implement it within no time. For me this a good sign as such gambling site care for users and take steps accordingly and want to make the experience best for them to enjoy the game and also win some money while playing the games.
The trick here is the fact that this website has one thing guaranteed, they are a blackjack website. Obviously they are not as famous as the big places like stake.com and so forth but they are getting a great name for blacjkack gambling, but that is it, they are just going to be stuck with blackjack and nothing more which creates couple of trouble, they are basically lacking in depth and for that to go away they have to actually make sure that they have a lot of options, like for example they wanted multiplayer and they should do that quickly in order to keep the fun going.

Otherwise some people will come here, gamble, have real good fun, suggest others to play here, they will have nothing bad to say, but still leave after a while because they do not want to only play blackjack and the same one forever.
2545  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC 🚀 on: September 15, 2020, 05:10:06 PM
I have seen a lot of bets with around 1.4 or so games smashed together that won, I have done myself as well and my record is 1 to 72 and that was really a great day, but I have never seen anyone who make a big bet with 4.2 and 3.1 and the likes on the slip, that is crazy that he managed to win that.

I have actually lost some bets with 1.4 and to think that if a 1.4 can lose all by itself, to have 2+ in all those bets with only 1 1.35 and rest high and to combine them all together and end up winning? That 1 to 1100 is something surreal man, it is not something I have ever seen before, I have seen a lot of big wins but with sportsbooks never seen anything higher than this before. Dude really got lucky, this isn't just pure talent or knowledge, this is high levels of luck too.
2546  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: September 15, 2020, 04:21:18 PM
I never doubted the legitimacy of Stake and other popular crypto casino sites. I have been playing on Stake for a long time now and wagered decent amounts in their casino and sportsbook. My point was regarding jackpots and how you shouldn't depend on them.

Even if you wager negligible amounts everyday, you might never win a jackpot due to the difficulty involved.

This is why I usually steer clear of them and play games with a lower house edge like Dice, blackjack etc where I tend to have fun for way longer.
And what I meant was that if you are going to play jackpot or not even jackpot, you should play in a place you trust, stake is a place we all trust and if you are going to go for jackpot you should do it here. Obviously everyone has their own ideas about jackpot, one may love it while other hate it, I personally do not really hope for a jackpot neither so I agree with you, but some other person may love it and that is fine too, but no matter what you do you should focus on doing that on a legit place.

Think about all those shady places, let's be honest we all know those shady places and unfortunately they are not so rare neither, they are quite common so at the end of the day we end up with places where they offer you 100x jackpot whereas they do not even pay you 1.1x regular wins.
2547  Economy / Economics / Re: Can legalisation of Cannabis help US economy? on: September 15, 2020, 03:29:13 PM
People think that when you make weed legal it will suddenly be enough to cover all the expenses but in reality USA is in big trouble and just one more sector will not be solution to anything. Obviously it is money generated for the government, they tax it now instead of spending money to prevent it (which they still do in some states) which means not only they do not lose money on it, they make money on it, and this makes people think that many problems could be solved thanks to this move.

However reality is we are talking about over 20 trillion dollar debt and such a horrible inflation very soon, how could just weed sector handle such a huge task to overcome that much trouble? It can't, not alone, it is not possible but it is surely a small help for it.
2548  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and money total cryptocurrency market Question on: September 15, 2020, 02:12:45 PM
Well we know about Binance for example, they have spent 400 million dollars to buy another business. Usually when you are super rich and make that much money, your money goes to making more money, that is how you grow your business and that is how you grow your income as well. If you want examples just look at all the other tech giants, from google to facebook to any other they have all grown because they bought other smaller business' and they have used their technology and workers to make their own companies bigger.

Even game companies that are big, buys other smaller game companies they think that could help. So that is what exchanges do, use that money to grow their business, they buy other smaller companies or they just buy stuff directly out like real estate but for bigger offices and so forth and not for investment.
2549  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: September 14, 2020, 07:43:52 PM
That is the difference between bitcoin and fiat investments, in bitcoin smaller investors could take a charge as well and that is what makes this so beautiful as well. If you are already rich that you consider if you should get a real estate or you should get bitcoin, you can go with real estate by that point, nobody really cares because you are already rich anyway so it is not a big issue.

However if you have few hundred or few thousand dollars that you have no idea what to do, you could only go for bitcoin because anything else would be too little of an income whereas bitcoin could go 2x or 3x and if you invest into other coins you could go as much as 10x, which nothing else could give it to you. Sure it is riskier but at least here you have as much right as the rich people.
2550  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we be scared of zero reserve banking? on: September 14, 2020, 05:44:00 PM
Honestly it wasn't that perfect before neither, don't get me wrong this is even worse now, we are talking about a student getting 40 out of 100 back in the day and now getting 20 out of 100, he failed the class before and he is still failing, but at that point you really do not care what point you fail with as long as you got an F, which means if they really want to move to zero reserve they can do that, nobody would say anything because it makes no sense anyway.

What would be awesome is allowing banks only to deal with money they have, if they want to give out a loan, have that loan on reserves, if you want to buy shares of a company, have that much money and actually give them the money itself, not some digital number changes from one account to another. Long story short we just went from bad to horrible.
2551  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: September 13, 2020, 05:53:55 PM
That's the reason i always recommend people to play at trusted sites at stake becasue here we can win big amount in real. I regularly play at stake and hope to win the same some day.
Winning a jackpot requires insane luck and it doesn't matter whether the site is popular or not which is why you should only invest what you are willing to lose(Especially jackpots).
It is not even about jackpot or anything else, in other places that people are not sure about, if you win and try to withdraw you may face a trouble, not always because even the scam websites do not hold everyone's money, they are smart, they keep 1 person out of 100 gamblers and that is usually good enough to stay afloat and when gamblers complain they just say he was a cheater and cheated and thanks to that nobody cares and that ends up with the casino to be profitable.

Obviously not a great method all things considered because eventually you will scam too many and they will realize it, but they do it anyway. Stake and few others are not like that, it is trustworthy and you know that if you want to gamble here, you will be treated fairly and will not be scammed, 100% guaranteed.
2552  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 13, 2020, 04:58:05 PM
Zverev versus Thiem, I feel like Zverev has a bigger and better chance right now, not saying that he will surely win because let's face it many unexpected things happened during this pandemic ridden open, but he just looks like he is a bit better as a player.

Honestly I am not going to bet on it, this has been a lot different than what I expected and whatever I do I feel like it would be just rolling the dice and I am not going to just wing it for a bet. There are these kinds of bets, I usually bet on NBA for example and there are always bets like these where you do not know what to bet, both teams (in this instance players) could win and when things are that close I do not feel comfortable, for me to bet it has to be a bit more difference between for me to make a decision.
2553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 14.54% APY Returns on DeFi Yield Farming! DeFi Trend Will be Sustainable? on: September 12, 2020, 05:59:31 PM
That is still not sustainable, 14.5 is not something you expect when you make an investment, specially not in dollar format because if you could make 14% per year in dollars, you could literally build a whole business out of that, you could give people 10% guaranteed yearly return and they would give you SOOOOO much money, when this is the fact you know it is too good to be true.

The only person who could offer over 10% guaranteed over long period of time was Warren Buffet and even he is too old to talk about the future now, which means you are not going to get anything out of 14.5% per year type of deals, it is a ponzi scheme and eventually either the value will drop or you are going to end up with not making that much money and get scammed eventually.

Been a while since FJ got any promos going on for sportsbetting. The 4+1 deal was pretty decent, and waiting to see if we'll get back our beloved MajSev back haha, this time if I win freebets I'm going to be a bit less adventurous and go for 3/1 odds maybe instead of going so high.
i'm keeping my hopes up, just one week to go but, when they announced Majestic7 last season, it was in Opening Day, here's FJ post
Now Count down already started for English Premier League but no announcement from FortuneJack for Majestic Seven hopefully we will have in next few days or any other better promotion because FJ mostly have surprises lets see when this one coming out of their bag. Wink Smiley

English Premier League will start from 12 September and I hope FJ will announce Majestic Seven before the start of the EPL. Maybe they will give us a last day surprise just before  the beginning of the league. Lets Keep the fingers crossed.
Premier league is not starting anytime soon, they are not really there yet, so I guess we can't know if it is coming back or not. I believe when premier league comes back, we will get a better answer from fortunejack about the situation. I feel like there was talks about how they will come back, they talked about that, so I am not sure if it is cancelled or anything since they said they will come back.

I have even see talks about more leagues in the future but that was shot down very quickly, so I guess it is going to be just premier league. It is such an awesome thing that all the sportsbooks in the crypto world has a soft spot for premier league, we can see them all getting promotions, rewards, even sponsorships on premier league, it is becoming such a crypto supporting league.
2555  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: September 11, 2020, 03:49:28 PM
Heads-up guys, there's [Scam]: Another fake bustabit site.
thanks for your heads up. this could be a real danger for newbies who wants to play to bustabit do you mind may i ask where did you find the website? we should be really careful and check mostly all the things before opening websites that we thought safe but turns out to be a fake one.
It is obvious that when something gets super famous, people try to take advantage of that, and when a scam gets so famous that the scammers make money, other scammers sees this and they try to get part of the deal as well and soon you have a lot of scammers trying to steal money. Obviously this is not a good thing for neither the website nor the users, however if you are smart enough you can't get scammed.

In order for you to get scammed, you have to send someone money, if you do not send anyone money, you are not going to get scammed at all, how could you get scammed if you do not send money to anyone and it stays in your wallet, how could you ever get scammed? So just deposit here, make sure you are here and not some phishing website, and if you are not sure add to favorites, and gamble here, do not do anything else.
2556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: September 11, 2020, 12:44:35 PM
For you or for other people? If you and I keep holding and not sell or not buy, that means there is less money in the trading world, if enough people do it, there is less volume and liquidation, which means traders will not be able to make as much trade as they used to since it would mean that you will end up with not being able to trade due to lack of liquidation, you could hurt the market with just one big sale and it doesn't even have to be too big since there are less people trading and less volume.

This is why when you get out, personally it is not a big problem, you can hold as much as you want and you would eventually profit anyway so it is a good method, but if you do that, you are removing money out of market meaning you are slightly hurting the traders.
2557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 10, 2020, 07:04:00 PM
Things do happen in bitcoin world that you can't explain, it is something that people have to get used to, there is really nothing you can do about it which is why I believe best way is to just agree and move on and assume what could happen in the future.

For example, I realized bitcoin price is $10k now and that is enough, there is no need to drop any further so I realized this and started moving around knowing bitcoin will go up again, which it did and broke over $10.5k last night, so as you can see do not dwell on what happened, just focus on what could happen in the future, because what happened could never make you new profit, but what could happen could mean a lot more profit for you. That is what traders should realize, future is the profit, past is nothing anymore, what is done is done.
2558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who sets the bitcoin price? on: September 10, 2020, 02:43:02 PM
Supply and demand is the only thing, there is nothing else that could set the price, there is no person behind bitcoin, it is just all a big supply and demand. Sometimes there is more people buying than selling and sometimes there is more people selling than buying, which changes the price of bitcoin, that is all we have as info.

Obviously there are whales who will want to manipulate the market and sometimes they succeed but they are not changing the price because they can, they are changing the price because we do allow them to change it, it is a power we give it to them. When a whale buys short futures and sells couple thousand bitcoins, instead of saying "thanks for cheap bitcoins" we end up panic selling and we help them, if we do not allow them there is nobody that has power over bitcoin.
2559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we at the first sell off point now?. on: September 10, 2020, 06:39:27 AM
Holding right now is the smart way to go, people are too much in panic mode and we are not really at that level yet, people are overreacting to what's going on. Obviously this is not ideal and we would have been happier with a 15k price or even 100k price to be honest but just because it is a bit down doesn't mean that it is over, we are still looking strong and the price will definitely go up eventually.

It means if you do not panic right now and end up losing money, you could make more profit later on, could be today could be a year from now but you will make that money, I would rather way around for my profit to come versus just losing money and hoping my next trade could be more profitable, we never know how the next trade will be so it is smarter to just wait.
2560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish! on: September 09, 2020, 07:21:04 PM
Can we really say this is bearish now? Don't get me wrong I have seen the fall and I agree that was bad for the price but can we call it bearish right away? We just went down about 15% and we stayed there, didn't went down any more, at what point do we call a fall a bear or not? I personally wouldn't want to say that it was a bearish fall, I could say that it was a bad fall, even a correction but I wouldn't call it bear.

Of course point of view changes from person to person, I got in a lot lower so this wasn't bad for me, but some person who got in at $11.5k or so saw this and they could call it bear unlike me. Which means bear could change from person to person, one persons bear could be another person's correction. At least that is what I think when it is such a small drop.
