2361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 Lottery Winner Losers on: November 05, 2020, 07:40:26 PM
Everything else would be something easy to stop, I am not going to change the person I am just because I got money, and almost half of that money doesn't really require you to change your life neither.

Anything until 10 million dollars would be good enough money to have 3 lines of generations live comfortably if you are careful with your investments but it will not become money that would be world changing for everyone, it would easy life but it wouldn't be spend it on everything you find type of life, you have to still live a proper sane but above middle class life, your biggest expense could be a house and even that takes up a huge chunk of your money. Above that would be silly to earn that is for sure but I don't know what would happen in that case. Family and friends are the only trouble here, that sounds like a real problem.
2362  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency exchange for beginners on: November 05, 2020, 06:35:09 PM
If you are newbie and you want to deal with regular btc/usdt type of deals I would suggest coinbase and kraken they are very known and they are very good at what they are doing as well, you would be at very safe hands when using them. Obviously if you are not capable of doing USD deposits and from another nation that has trouble with swift type of deals that would mean you have to pick something from your own nation and we can't suggest any about that.

However if you want bitcoin versus alts as a newbie that is definitely binance without a doubt. I do not agree with people saying everyone should pick the ones they like and all, binance is a great gateway to start and after that you could change however you want. Uniswap on the other hand is getting very famous for DEX reasons and if you are newbie that can understand that, it could be potentially very great for you as well.
2363  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best DEX for trading? on: November 04, 2020, 06:59:48 PM
Uniswap became something huge with the tech it provided, I don't know what their token will be like because it promised way too much and I doubt that would happen but we should be able to differentiate the token and the exchange itself.

I am sure many people got the hold of it and showed interest towards Uniswap all due to them offering hundreds of dollars in bounty prize, which I believe will not be as high as advertised, but thanks to that fake looking bounty, they managed to get a lot of interest towards a product that is unseen anywhere else.

With them allowing people to exchange and trade without worrying about centralized exchange getting hacked or anything, their exchange part will become huge. I only worry when the bounty rewards come in and look like it is few dollars at best, many people may complain and try to destroy its credibility.
2364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 myths about crypto trading tools on: November 04, 2020, 06:29:19 PM
Not gonna lie, everyone could call themselves a "crypto currency consultant" or whatever crypto tag you want to have, doesn't mean you are going to be credible or even respected, look at linkedin, there are tons of unemployed people who call themselves "blockchain expert" or "crypto investor" and stuff like that. At the end of the day, I would say the best way to approach these kind of people to check what they wrote and see if they know what they are talking about and how valuable what they bring to the table.

Looking at this one, he knows what he is talking about and not talking about something wrong, that is a good sign, but it is also nothing too shocking or things we don't know so he is not awesome neither, I would give him 7/10 for this topic alone, didn't check his medium.
2365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 04, 2020, 05:45:47 PM
From these options I would say IEO could be the best according to which exchange doing the listing. If you see a coin doing IEO at binance you know that it will be liked and traded, even on the dex platform it will at least get some attention and that is why I like it a lot.

But, obviously if we are talking about a bad exchange that you do not trust, or a shady looking newbie exchange, or anything that had a problem before, that means IEO or not it is going to suck for that project.

Second in like would be IDO because that is the popular thing right now and looking at all the bounties and airdrops, some of them actually do end up being decent, not all of them though because there is a small chance of it being awesome but you could find some gems. The rest are not really that great in my own opinion.
2366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $20+Day! Villages in Philippines survive Covid playing Axie Infinity on: November 04, 2020, 04:36:37 PM
This feels like it could potentially be just a shilling of a product and not the reality and there is really no other way to check if this is a fact or not by actually using the app and seeing if you could actually make a profit.

I can tell you that if there was a legit way of making 20 dollars a day, it would be used by not only Philippines but all around the world, even in countries like USA where life is a lot more expensive, kids would be doing this like crazy to get their money up and buy some games, even the most expensive ps4 game is about 60 bucks so a young kid working 3 days on this could buy the most expensive game without asking money from parents (just permission) and 600 dollars a month would be a very good side income for them. It would be literally higher than minimum salary in 100+ nations.
2367  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 03, 2020, 05:23:52 PM
All these sportsbooks giving Biden or "winning party democrat party" type of bets under 1.6 for the past few days really started to excite me. I do not want to talk about politics here, you pick whoever you want to pick, but in wagering world I have a lot of money wagered on Biden so to me it is more than just politics, it is about money in my pockets Cheesy.

Thankfully I got in at 1.88 way back when and I got in with some other websites as well so at the end of the day I have like 250 dollars laying on Biden in probably 6-7 different places, and each of them had Biden starting from about 2.2 at highest I believe during primaries to now as low as under 1.5 odds which is quite low considering that is like Liverpool vs Sunday league team type of odds. I will have about 150-200 dollar profit if he wins!
2368  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 03, 2020, 04:11:02 PM
It actually makes a lot of sense. Why? In the previous elections, Clinton was projected as the clear winner through all the polls and the popular vote seemed to be in her favor, but majority of the world were shocked to see Trump win in the end by conquering key areas.

This is why many bettors are betting big money on Trump since he has succeeded as an underdog in the past. I feel it's 50-50 at this point between Trump and Biden.
I have never said Trump will lose, I wouldn't know that, I am not a political science major nor have any type of credibility when it comes to guessing election results neither, I wouldn't trust my own guess let alone someone else should. What I simple said that it is way too close to risk that much money and I am 100% sure it doesn't matter if you think Trump will win or Biden will win, you should realize that it is close, it is not going to be like some candidate will get 450+ or whatever, that is not the case at all, it is going to be deadly close no matter who wins.

This is why it doesn't make sense to bet on Trump 130k+ dollars, does it make sense to bet 130k+ on Biden? Doubtful, but at least he is seen as the favorite right now, doesn't mean he will 100% win but at least he has a higher chance, whereas trump does have a chance to win but it is lower than Bidens so putting up that much money on the underdog is just way too risky for me.
2369  Economy / Speculation / Re: history loves repeating itself. the only question is when! on: November 02, 2020, 09:02:24 PM
There is no exactly the same situation, especially when it comes to Bitcoin. Besides, conditions in the market are never the same and there are so many factors and circumstances that might affect Bitcoin price.
History might repeat but that is not the only argument you can stick to to predict possible price growth, in crypto world that doesn't count.
Different people are having different perceptions. I am seeing this year very much similar to 2016 regardless of what we had due to pandemic. I mean that even world economy got suffered due to consequences of pandemic, bitcoin must need to be performing like gold as gold and bitcoins are falling into same category compared to stocks and other bonds which are related to economy of a country.

Moreover, we are going to see a new ATH by the end of this year which will make us to assume that potential of bitcoin is more than enough to defeat the consequences of pandemic. This way history will repeat itself and I am not having any doubts about its timing as well because I am foreseeing the possibilities of coinciding time frame as well.
2370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stays Above USD 13,000, Altcoins Take Hit on: November 02, 2020, 08:30:43 PM
It has been more than 15 months since the last time we witnessed bitcoin at $14000. And according to my knowledge, 15-months is a fair amount of time for any big investors try to accumulate bitcoin in order to find a ticket for the next bullish run
By the times of May/June of 2019, bitcoin prices peaked only up to $13,800 and never got power to test $14k levels. So, the last time we had seen prices around $14k was when the prices were falling from ATH by the first quarter of 2018. It has been more than two and half years since bitcoin markets traded above $14k price levels.

I also believe that with the improvement in price so far, two years into the halving of bitcoin this year, the bull will fully come and including altcoins.
What is two years and halving? The next halving may happen by May month of 2024 or earlier to that also possible. Bitcoin market is slowly gaining momentum and it last up to end of next years (as per the four year cycle of BTC markets) and only after that you may see most altcoins may test their new ATHes.
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ARE NO LONGER VIABLE on: November 02, 2020, 07:14:26 PM
Airdrop shouldn't really be a good source of income to begin with. Let's take a look at what you do with airdrops? I can find some right now on airdrop directories, it shows that I have to like their tweet, I have to like their facebook page, I have to follow their instagram, I have to join their telegram.

These are the most common ones and usually ends up with all of them being like this, you can have additions on top of this like bitcointalk signature bounty or maybe there is a tweet where you have to follow them, retweet them, like their tweet and reply with tagging 5 different people? That is an airdrop too. All of these are not that much work at all, these are things you can do in under 10 minutes, how much money did you think you could get for something so quick and easy to do? I think few dollars is more than enough.
2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: November 02, 2020, 06:43:41 PM
I live in a nation where crypto acceptance is sky high, we use crypto for anything if we want to and other party accepts it, legality wise there is no problem at all. Yet we still do not have too much places that accept bitcoin or any crypto easily, adoption is very slow compared to what it could be, considering the law allows you to accept crypto I would assume it would have been a lot more common but unfortunately it is not.

This is why I believe it is going to be a bit different to have a mass adoption one day, it is not about legality, it is not about price it is basically all about people not having the trust in crypto enough to accept it and cash out later, they are afraid of the volatile price situation of crypto and this is why I think it is not going to have any sort of mass adoption until it is more stable.

There are some massive bets being thrown down on trump. It seems like he has attracted all the betting action at every point of this election. Look at this one just today  Shocked

https://stake.com/sports?iid=sport%3A4134923&modal=sportBet
Pheww~

I may not lived in US but I can tell this guy activate the Trump Card. Cheesy

The lead is in Mr. Biden but it is still difficult to predict who will win.

Damn, that is a massive bet! Hopefully for him, he will win the bet, but all the polls are pointing to Biden to win.
A surprise could still happen, but I think it will be an (easy) win for Biden. I placed a 1$ bet on Biden to win  Grin.

Stake is a huge site to accept that huge bet, I think other crypto sportsbook would not accept that huge single bet.

Now I have a feeling that Trump is going to win this time again because he still remain an underdog.
But, it doesn't make sense to wager that much on Trump unless you are very well off financially. Right now, nobody can deny that elections could go both ways, I am not going to say that Biden has 100% chance but he does have the "bigger" chance from everything else, and I understand that Trump is also in play and he is very close to Biden, it will not be a race where the winner will be decided right away, it is going to take a while to see who wins and whoever ends up winning I can guarantee that the difference can't be all that huge.

This is why betting 130k dollars on either Biden or Trump would be something silly to do, why risk so much money when you do not know who would be the favorite of the people? Only logical answer could be having tens of millions of dollars and doing this for fun.

I have gambled a bit today but I have never checked the minimum withdrawal amount before until today, which I find a bit higher than should be. I didn't had too much money left to gamble for today so I just sent my 6-7 bucks into wolf.bet to have some fun, it was definitely a good amount of money and I gambled for a good long while, at the end I had about 12-13 bucks and I said to myself since I doubled my profit I should probably cash out and leave for a while before I restart.

After that I realized the minimum to cash out is 0.04 and that is about a bit further away from what I had. So I had to gamble a bit more to cover the difference and obviously as is gambling tradition I lost during that period and now have none Cheesy. Since it was a tiny bit amount it is not a big deal, but I would have been happier if withdraw allowed me to take my money out without restrictions.

US Presidential Election - Trump vs Biden - The Biggest Bet at FreeBitco.in!

Only 3 Days to Go before the American public votes for their new President.

Joe Biden leads the polls and also the bet with odds of 1.75 to Win.

Meanwhile, Trump isn't too far behind with odds of 1.97 to Win.

Combined, there is a total of 28 BTC On the Line! Betting ends and the American people vote on 3rd November.

Get your wagers in NOW. Predict right and win a share of the 28 BTC Prize Pool!

There are now 30+ bitcoins going for the presidential race and interestingly it is 1.8 vs 1.9 between them which is really weird considering usually when one option is about 1.8 the other one is more like 3.5 and not 1.9 back to it. Probably they are both high together "against" other options given which is why we do not see these odds.

I am not going to lie, if you want to wager on the presidential race, because of the parimutual situation, I would say check another place if you want to, in any other game parimutual is better but for this one only it is not really giving you the best odds. If one thing is low odds the other should be a bit more higher, both odds being low together, under 2.00 together, is not really that common and shouldn't have happened no matter what.
2376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price of Bitcoin, gold and the unemployment rates in the USA. on: November 01, 2020, 06:47:24 PM
Bitcoin has crashed only for like a week before it recovered. Stock markets and everything else is coming together maybe a bit, not even fully corrected, whereas bitcoin is double of what we were at the start of the year. How many stocks, or gold prices or anything else moved  DOUBLE PROFIT in this year?

While everything else was down, bitcoin was down too and I agree with that, but the price started at $7k and we peaked at around $14k right now, so the fall could happen and I understand it but recovering is not even a question for bitcoin, while everything else is trying to recover bitcoin is way beyond that and doubling your profit year to date. This is why the traditional markets are wrong and this is why classic financial theory is wrong, because bitcoin is above all of them.
2377  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran accepting cryptocurrencies to avoid US Dollar on: November 01, 2020, 05:52:38 PM
Everyone considers to be something huge and think that this is going to change too much for either Iran or even crypto but the reality is there has been sanctions by USA for a very long time towards Iran and they have managed to survive this much by going around those sanctions anyway, this is just another step and I think it is not going to be a huge one neither, so there is really no need to hype about crypto getting more use in Iran.

They were always a country that used crypto and you can see that their peak was as high as 27k during 2017 peak times for example, being closed down to other nations do make them a bit more volatile in crypto prices as well. So, this was already something Iranians did but they just didn't do it legally, now its legal and not much will change.
2378  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ? on: November 01, 2020, 05:03:54 PM
What this pandemic period showed the world is that we could totally move into a more digital world that is possible and we haven't done that for way too long. The year is 2020, there is very little you can't do at your home anymore and that is why the tech should be catching up to people instead of people trying to downplay the improvements of technology. Think of all the people who go to work, or do anything else, most of them are doing that because it used to be "required" for them to do that right?

Now think about how hundreds of millions of jobs could switch to homes, that is just business side of things. So, digital age is coming and people realize that if you see digital age coming maybe digital money is coming with it so they increased their investments on digital currencies as well.
2379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DeFi is high risk investment on: October 31, 2020, 08:42:02 PM
One of the biggest reasons why I find defi risky is not because defi itself could ever be risky (it is just a term) but more about how people see it and how they react to it. For example it has made a lot of money for a lot of people and that is why it is seen as something great as of right now, people think it is such an awesome technology that they could potentially make 10x with all the defi they invest into and all the yield farming they make income from.

However what I fear is exactly this; because people think like this, there are fake defi where project team tells everything you want to hear about a good defi project, get your money and leave with it without doing anything at all. I do not know a true real good defi project versus a bad scam one, since I can't see the difference I also do not know what to do with it neither.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: October 31, 2020, 08:08:55 PM
It is not going to stop because scamming is easy when you offer people free money for their work. It is even easy when you steals others money, you could literally ask people for money in return of something and not give that and keep the money and scam them, this happens constantly in the world and unfortunately it hasn't stopped, been a thing for centuries.

So, to actually not even ask for money, but just to tell people work for money, they will obviously keep working and ask for money and you could just not pay them and get away with it, it is not going to stop at anytime at all. However what people can do is focus on retribution, for example there is a project that failed to pay you? Just start a topic here, and get together with others who got scammed and just write EVERYWHERE you can find online about how you got scammed by this project. That should hurt them enough to never become successful.
