2401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 25, 2020, 07:40:42 PM
Neo has lost its chance to be a competitor with ETH and there are rumors about the huge financial support by China government. My guess is EOS but there is a probability of explosion by NEO, DOT, SNTVT if the market turns its back to ETH. Maybe DEX will bring a new competitor for established blockchains too but I doubt ETH will be replaced by competitors soon.
I also like TRX because of the recent developments and the news coming from their team. I am amazed how quickly they move and you might wonder what's the latest news then you may check this out: https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/tron-trx-ceo-bittorrent-announces-acquisition-of-e-sports-platform/

I am not sure if it has the potential to be the next Ethereum though because ETH is like the Bitcoin of the altcoin market where everything flows under but really I am a firm believer that we might see a good price boost in coming months and there are good stake rewards too so people can easily earn some free coins like I earn on my TRX.
2402  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price now and something interesting on: October 25, 2020, 06:14:30 PM
like every sell order getting eated. Roll Eyes
so all the profit takers sellings have immmediately buyer
simple words we have big accumalation in 13k price
This is not the first time, we are seeing bitcoin market is trading around $13$ region. But, it seems bitcoin market is slowly heading toward a new ATH which may happen by end of this year or completely in 2021 but definitely a new ATH is due after the recent halving. So by considering the long term trend of bitcoin markets, we can assume what ever things will happen right now may just pass away or will push prices toward bullish. This is as per what historically bitcoin market did just after every halving.

People may book profits around $13k and may re-enter lower than $13k but being a long term holder, I guess I do not need to bother them. I am just eyeing big target like $20k to take some profits. I believe when more people do target like me, I guess we may jump more quickly toward ATH rather than bothering these middle things.

Wangtang hasn't played in a large bet in 3 days or so, his last big bet was 3 days ago, so maybe he finally realized that he has to stop before he could lose all of his money, and that is a very smart decision.

If he stops gambling with huge numbers and instead focuses on gambling with smaller numbers (can't believe I am talking about few bitcoins and calling it "small") because if he tries to keep gambling with hundreds of bitcoin each time, he is not going to really come up with a big amount of income in the long run, he will end up with losing all of his money. Dude is something else, he is special, I have never seen anyone play millions of dollars on a regular crypto betting this easily before in my life, he must be an insanely rich dude who made this money, he probably has a lot more than this for not-gambling part of his life too.

When a certain ANN thread becomes self-moderated then you cant really remove on someones mind not to have doubts when a gambling site do have a self-moderated thread and we
know that they know on whats the con's on having it but i do agree on what you had said that issues like these or shall we say non-sense topic shouldnt really be given any
attention or we can just simply report it since it is really out topic.Asking for gambling sites assets? Pathetic...
The difference between having a self-moderated topic and "not being able to complain" is not mutually exclusive. There is also a scam accusation part of bitcointalk. So, if there is any doubts, any complaints, any scam accusations for a website that gets removed, that person could start a new topic at the scam accusation part of the website and could talk about it there for days, you can write 10 posts a day about your complaint every single day without stopping for years, nobody will stop you from doing that.

However when you are not in a self-moderated topic and that dude writes here multiple times a day here, he is not only exercising his right to complain (which he has a right to) but he is also bothering other people as well. That is why I am in favor of self-moderated topics, it allows people to read about the website and not about just one person.
2405  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 24, 2020, 06:54:45 PM
I wholeheartly agree that oil will be replaced, I know it is huge right now and it would take decades before we could replace it as a whole, but for the past decade or even longer we have started to replace it. The problem is oil is an energy source and in order to replace it we have to find another energy source, whereas bitcoin is a financial currency, it could replace gold maybe but that would be few decades at least, but it can't replace oil at all since there is no way oil could be replaced by anything but another energy source.

It means our solar and wind energy resources are the things that will replace oil, those renewable energy ones are actually doing pretty good, back in the day they were a lot more expensive to worth a try but the price of them started to drop as well.

Some gamblers just wanted to feel the rush of winning but in reality they are already losing a lot than winning. If player vs player like poker its about skills, so the more you are skilled about the game the higher the chances that you might win every round. Just don’t get hooked too much in gambling its only good in moderation.
People should not play for money was not a way for me to say "play with faucet money" or something like that, no you could spend money on it, lets say put in 50 bucks into the casino for the week (change the money however you are feeling) and spend only that money and you could have a lot of fun, you should be depositing and having fun with that deposited amount that is not a doubt in my mind.

What I meant by "do not gamble for money" was do not try to win money constantly, if you try to bet and try to win each time you are going to be upset more often than not. Because of the house edge people do not make that much profit and that causes people to actually end up chasing that loss and they end up losing a lot more money as well. Which is why I highly support not gambling for money but for fun.
2407  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 23, 2020, 11:03:48 PM
This discussion has been going on for a very very long time, this is why I always support self-moderated topics on every single casino since there are people who are copycats of game-protect (or maybe it is actually him) who makes ZERO sense at all. I have never seen ANYONE in the entire world who requests assets of a casino, there is not a single person in the entire world who would go to a casino (real brick and mortar casino or online casino) and asks about their assets, it makes ZERO sense to ask for their assets and that is none of our business at all.

If you are worried that they might scam people one day, well that starts with withdrawal problems, how many people withdraw their money from bitdice without any issue at all? If btidice allows people to withdraw whenever they want, that means there is no scam going on at all, why wonder about their assets?
2408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 23, 2020, 09:16:49 PM
Blazers had young players that they could improve with, they even paid them a lot of money as well, around 2016-2017 period they were really looking like a team of dame+cj plus a lot of promising young talent yet that talent never really became too good, which ended up causing them to lose in the long run because they had to get people from free agency to get better, which turned out to be alright but it was all due to getting good free agents (and getting Nurkic was lucky as well).

So, Portland is at that bad spot where they are not contenders but they are still pretty good, which is why I really think that they need just one more superstar, like proper superstar though, and they would be awesome but unfortunately they do not have the popularity to get it easily.
2409  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian currency big problems on: October 23, 2020, 06:58:06 PM
Russia was never a country that cared too much about how much their currency worth, they knew that if they do not act in the best interest of other nations they will cease to do business with them and their "de facto dictatorship" under Putin is basically just a way of telling the world that you can't trust Russia at all no matter what so companies are not really going there to build new places, hell China is the biggest dictatorship in the world yet people still build factories there, but not in Russia.

So, basically all of these currency problems are because Russia loves to intervene with other peoples business and always be shady and not trustworthy, that is why their currency never gets accepted globally, it is only viable in Russia and that is why it never worths anything.
2410  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shit Hits the Fan: Australia joins US, India and Japan in Naval Exercise on: October 23, 2020, 06:11:32 PM
Exercises are just show of force, it is a way of saying "look what I have" and that is it, there is really no point to them at all.

Look at Azerbaijan and Armenia right now, there is absolutely no way those two could ever be similar in fire power, right now AZ has turkey backing them as well so it is combined over 90 million population with automating drone strikes and far superior military power going against 3 million population and not even remotely closer to that level military power and you know what is the result is? They are in stalemate that is not going anywhere at all. Reason? Today's wars are not fought and won with guns, sure you can go kill people but it is not going to make it stop nor it won't make it further the cause.

Australia, India, Japan and the whole world can show what weapons they have, hell USA has x30-40 more power than China, but just because you have big guns doesn't mean you can attack and win.
2411  Economy / Economics / Re: usa dollar future on: October 22, 2020, 09:22:43 PM
I am not a banker myself but my friend works in accounting in one of the four horsemen and I can tell you that they are getting more and more accounting request for crypto related stuff. He was already interested in crypto for the past 3-4 years and I can tell you that they didn't really had any crypto at all when he first started and nowadays they get like about 70k per month from the crypto companies.

Now obviously this is nothing because they are getting tens of millions of dollars from the regular companies but we really didn't expected crytpo to be equal to others right? So that still shows you that crypto is getting bigger and fiat is getting lower. One day everyone will prefer bitcoin because who wouldn't want a currency that doesn't change depending on the politicians?
2412  Economy / Economics / Re: btc value and currency inflations on: October 22, 2020, 07:10:44 PM
You will know by being able to buy the same things for the same bitcoin price instead of same usd price. For example, check how much 1 kilo of apple worths in bitcoin and how much it worths in dollar right now. If it is let's say 10 dollars (probably not that much) and let's say its 0.0001 bitcoin (or whatever btc to dollar rate is at that moment, this is just example) if the price of 1 kilo of apple stays at 0.0001 bitcoin but becomes 20 dollars one day, you will know dollar has gone up, but bitcoin stayed with the same valuation and worth.

Of course all the rates and the apple one is just example, you can calculate it based on today as well. 1 bitcoin is almost 13k, you can buy X item for 13k or 1 bitcoin, in 10 years that X item becomes 30k let's say and it stays 1 bitcoin, that is what we are trying to achieve.
2413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 21, 2020, 04:47:28 PM
The market can go anyway, the best you can do is predict both ways so that if it doesn’t go the other way, then you’re certain of the other, that way you can be sure what actions to take if it’s negative. As far as I am concerned, never traders realized that market conditions are easier and favorable to them; it is always a challenging one and who are all able to ride along the market direction, enjoying the profits.
Maybe it is time to stop analyzing bitcoin and maybe end up just putting our money in there and stop nagging about every single move. I understand that some people wants to be "traders" that buy and sell everyday and maybe 1000% profit yearly or even more, but that is a very rare and unlikely situation and there is no need for that.

There is nothing in the world as trustworthy as bitcoin that you could put your money in that will make you profit in the long run. I don't know how much is left until you retire but to me it is around 25 years so if I keep saving money and putting all of them in bitcoin constantly and only cash out 25 years later (unless something major happens) that means I am going to be super wealthy, I trust that and I do not get why others don't do that.
2414  Other / Archival / Re: Grayscale bought BTC for $690M in the last 100 days on: October 20, 2020, 08:59:43 PM
These big companies getting involved with nearly a billion dollars total are actually setting an example for the other huge ones as well and that is what matters to us right now. Grayscale is just a milestone, this one did this huge bet and if they lose a lot of money jp morgan will probably think they shouldn't, but if they make a ton of money jp morgan will say maybe they should get in.

These are the type of stuff that I really care about, if there is tens of billions of dollars going into bitcoin soon in the near future looking at these examples, that means this is a great example for future. Even if they end up losing though (which they won't) in the long run bitcoin will continue to rise, even if it falls time to time it will make a profit which is why I think big companies will get in sooner or later.

Limbo has been around for a while as well, some other places did it before too, I just do not really get why people see it better that way, I mean multiplayer is like a thing you do with your friends, and when you have a chat as well you probably will have talks about out of ordinary stuff as well when you are playing together.

Like let's say there is x1.0 crash twice in a row, that is a whole new topic to talk with them, or there is a x3000+ which rarely happens but does happen, so you talk to people about what a big luck you could have profited from, basically all around playing together against the house which is fun. When you are playing limbo, it is just dice but with random end result, that is the only thing, in dice you know what to bet and your odds, here you do not know that and that is the only difference.
2416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 20, 2020, 05:43:48 PM
People should not gamble for money, that is the start of every discussion when we are talking about gambling. If you are a poker player things may change, it is still risky and it is still not profitable honestly but at least you are playing against other people. However when you are gambling against the house, you are going to lose your money, there is no doubt about that, maybe you will get lucky and win huge one day but if you keep going like that forever eventually you will lose it, the house edge makes sure of that. So why gamble?

Well, when you are watching a movie, you buy a ticket a popcorn a drink and maybe a chocolate if you are craving right? All of that comes down to some amount of money, when you are watching that movie do you hope to make that all money back? No? Well gambling is like that, you just try to have fun and if you lose it, that is just cost for having fun.
2417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rare Batman art sold for ~$200K (302.5 ETH (~$111K) and 540.86 ETH) on: October 20, 2020, 04:36:44 PM
I think it is more about the context than anything else, there are now painters who are actually doing realistic drawing that you could can't see the difference from a photograph, like literally looks like a photo when you look at it with each and ever detail into it, you could google "hyper realistic drawing" and you will see the results. Do you think those people can't draw stuff like this? They can draw whatever they want if they can draw reality like a photo.

However there are context involved as well, and art is all about context, usually even the artist itself can't make it change neither. Banksy got one of his pictures sold and the moment it was sold it got shredded and now it worths even more, even banksy couldn't stop it becoming nothing in the end.

The difference between gambling on dice or similar games and gambling on bets is the fact that in sportsbetting there is a chance that you could be almost always right and that is more than enough. There was talks about playing 100 dollars (or any amount) on each game Liverpool played last year and being on the profit.

This year they didn't started that well but they are still doing great, so on betting there is a bigger chance to make profit because if you wager on the highest chance of happening, more than likely it will happen and on the rare times it doesn't happen you will recoup whenever it gets back. So, you have to realize that one of them is automatically decided and guarantees a loss in long term, other has a human matter in it that changes constantly.

^Marketing is not always for getting more and more customers neither. Sure there is a situation when you do marketing you want to acquire customers and the better your rate of money spent on each customer the better for you in those ones.

However signature campaign is not there to acquire customers most of the time, sure that is a good bonus if you could get a lot of people and that is what everyone would hope for, but the main idea when it first started was to get your name heard, when you are a brand new casino you did signature campaigns so that people would know who you are, and when you are an old one you would have promotions and campaigns that you want people to know so you did signature campaigns. Basically it was a PR move instead of just getting more money for your buck.
2420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Altcoins That Suddenly Make the Top 25 Marketcap List? on: October 18, 2020, 08:01:05 PM
I think they are looking into CMC a lot as well, because you can have like a billion dollar coin if you want to, as long as there is just 10 people who are buying and selling and they are all in the project that means they can fake a 100+ billion dollar market cap if they want to, which cmc can't allow it to happen which is why it is important to vet all these altcoins very carefully about how much the volume is, what the marketcap is, what the price is but at the same time about the liquidity as well.

CMC when exchanged hands and became binance's thing it became really important to care about the liquidity as well. With that changed the lists became a lot more realistic, it is not like the old CMC when even the silliest things could have shot up high for a day or two but with fake movements.
