3301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money by stablecoin on: November 19, 2019, 02:48:15 PM
People talk about how they would actually lose money by holding stablecoin and how investors can't make money with stablecoins but they are forgetting about the trading chances the stablecoins create. Sure you can't make money by "holding" stablecoins, that is not possible but if you have 1000 usdt and buy bitcoin at 7k then sell it at 10k and get usdt and then buy it again at $8k you have used stablecoins to make money.

If you can do it with fiat directly and have an exchange that allows you to buy and sell crypto with fiat directly then you don't need stablecoins for sure but places (specially exchanges with ton of altcoins) can't really allow you to do fiat trades directly which is why they have options of stablecoins where you can use them instead of fiat.
3302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption of crypto in retirement savings plans growing on: November 19, 2019, 06:14:35 AM
I am one of the people who have a retirement plan with bitcoin in it. I don't know what life holds for me and if I would ever need it before retirement but I do have some savings in my bank account and additionally some bitcoins that I want to keep forever and even buy some every month.

In a perfect world I would never use any of that and let them grow over time and when I retire (I still have 30 years to retire) I would have 3 sources of income, one is my retirement plan that I pay from my salary, the other is the savings account that I have from money I saved from what I didn't spent from my salary, the third is bitcoins that I have.

Now, I know 30 years is a long long time and I will be 60 by that time so we have no idea what will happen but if everything goes according to plan my children will get a ton of money and a ton of stuff from me when I die.
3303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020 on: November 18, 2019, 06:15:18 PM
Honestly considering China decided that they are very fond of crypto all of a sudden when they were actually very against it just in recent months, it looks like EOS could have a huuuuge increase. Dudes print out a great detailed report of which coins are best to invest from the government directly and they always list EOS as the top one and it looks like this could be one of those times when a coin actually has a skyrocket in the future.

I am not saying it will be right now but as soon as China and all of Chinese people have a green-light to actually do whatever they want with crypto world, they will instantly start to put all their money back into crypto which will be billions upon billions of dollars and that would make EOS the prime candidate to have the highest increase.
3304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum ERC20 Tokens Are Gaining in Total Market Capitalization on: November 18, 2019, 05:24:32 PM
The reality is that if you look at  "all ERC20 tokens" they are actually not gaining market cap, there are hundreds of them losing market cap and actually dying slowly and some are even skyrocketing to death Cheesy However there are few of them that actually has some use case and some has dapps and all that which in return gives you the ultimate "increase in market cap" for the total because those few successful ones had insane returns.

ERC20 token doesn't equal to a good idea, sometimes they are really horrible and sometimes they are just useless in the end, however having that ease of use and easy wallets like mew and meta and so forth gives you that comfort of using it with couple clicks without having to deal with billion wallets or exchanges with KYC and security questions and all that.
3305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 18, 2019, 03:59:43 PM
Honestly, the answer of this changes depending on my mood and what I play and how much money I have.

Sometimes, I play on sportsbooks because it increases the fun I get from soccer matches, I used to watch them and get bored very easily because the results were always boring no matter who won unless something major is going on (like champions league is always fun but is regular season game is still fun?) so I gamble on the game and watch it and get a lot more fun.

If I gamble on dice or something similar then I usually gamble as low as possible and don't spend too much money, I just want to pass some time since I am bored and dice could give me some reason to kill time a bit. And sometimes I gamble on poker because it is the most fun I could get if it goes well and it is not so well if it is not going well, 50%-50% chance of having a great fun or being upset depending on cards I get dealt.
3306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymous Gambling and Self Exclusion on: November 18, 2019, 02:19:35 PM
I have never been that much of a fan of "self exclusion" rules in casinos and what people impose on casinos. If you are a person that can't stop from gambling that means you should see a professional about it and try to stop, casinos do not have the responsibility to make you stop. If one casino stops you and excludes you because you wanted it, an addict could either have another account or just go play somewhere else as long as they don't stop themselves.

Casinos are there to make money, maybe it is not "ethical" for your standards to make money from an addict but if the addict wants to lose their money in casino then casino should be happy to have his money. Is it immoral? Maybe. Is it good business model? Definitely. Does mcdonalds stop selling burgers to fat people? No.
3307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 17, 2019, 05:28:06 PM
It is not the same as Derrick Rose, rose was a very young player when he got injured and he never really recovered from his first injury and dude played very very few minutes for years and he came back when he was still relatively young, dude got injured when he was 23 or something and he is still around 30 I believe right now, he had some 60 games or so but got injured multiple times that was season ending injuries.

Melo is already 35 and he played a whole career worth of games so there is no need for him to comeback aside from the fact that dude really wants to play, if he quit by his own choice and decided to retire it wasn't really a bad age to retire if you ask me. I hope he is at second unit and plays against other teams second units, dude could carve up any second unit in the league.
3308  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed Ups Its Wall Street Bailout to $690 Billion a Week as Media Snoozes on: November 17, 2019, 04:04:34 PM
It is just a regular expected thing that FED who is very wall street friendly and enemy of the regular people would do something that would help the wall street people and put the whole economy in danger. That is one of the most "awesome" parts of being wall street, you can do as risky as possible stuff to make money, you can leverage your position into billions and even close to trillions in derivatives and whatever but in the end if you don't really have any reason to make a loss, why would you care? That is why it is "awesome" for them, dudes risk it as much as they can and when they fail, FED just prints money and gives it to them and they die.

How could you not really love the way they do business, it is either win for them or lose for us, what an amazing business model.
3309  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal Drops Pornhub Support, Pornhub Is Now Exploring Cryptocurrency Options on: November 17, 2019, 03:29:43 PM
Considering paypal has always been doing bad things for their customers and why people are looking a way out, there is no surprise that they stopped working with pornhub and I am 99% sure they will go bankrupt soon. Maybe in 5 years maybe in 10 years but paypal will be gone for sure, they can't sustain this horrible business model where they are doing something against all of their customers and still get away with it because they are the most common one we know.

Aren't there other payment methods? There are, which means the more people complain about them the more companies will start to offer other options and people will use those options eventually and paypal will be gone. The only good thing paypal is doing right now is ability to integrate on any website, when other payment solutions get to that level paypal will be gone.
3310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of Bitcoin rise by the end of this year on current time? on: November 17, 2019, 02:29:36 PM
Bitcoin is known to always be better at the end of the year and secondly, this is the celebration season, there is going to be lots of money to be sent to love ones around and which I think that bitcoin will be one of the method chosen to carry out some of these transactions, especially from countries where they are finding it very hard to send transactions easily across the bother.
I think there is just 1.5 months left for the whole year to be over which means there is really not that much time left for it to go too high. Of course, it is bitcoin and I have no clue what it will do but I feel like anything between $8k to $12k is realistic enough to not expect too much from bitcoin.

Yeah, it could go down even further or it could go up a lot more but honestly do you really think it will? I feel like there is a very minimum chance it will do any more radical moves. Whenever bitcoin wants to do a radical move whales and manipulators end up doing their best to stop it, why? Because of leverage, some people leverage their positions and whenever it starts to do the reverse they try to stop it so they don't get cashed out but since both sides do it, there are no more huge moves.
3311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin cannot be banned on: November 16, 2019, 04:03:30 PM
This is not something we didn't really know before. I mean there are two ways to approach what a "ban" is.

One is, there is nothing really stopping you from buying/selling bitcoin even if your government deems it illegal, killing a person is illegal as well but there are people who still kill other people which means you can't really stop people from doing something but you can at least make it illegal so you can jail them later when they are caught.

Same idea for bitcoin, they can make it illegal but you can still trade it and if you are caught there would be a fine probably, I doubt it would be jail but it would probably be cash fine where you have to pay a certain penalty for it. The other way is governments can't even ban it because it is anon and they don't have proof of who owns which coins if we all store it on our computers, how could they track it?
3312  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwC Poker ♣️ BITCOIN POKER 3.0 ♣️ BBJ ♣️ BIG BTC ♣ Win✅ Mac✅ Android✅ HTML5✅ on: November 16, 2019, 03:26:37 PM
I went back a few pages but couldn't find an answer. It is almost impossible to read the entire title. Does anyone use the Android app? Is it safe?
I want to try but, I can't be sure if it is safe. As you all know we are holding cryptocurrencies or other infos in our mobile.
Of course, it's safe, you have to download the application on the official website of SwC because this application is not listed in the play store/app store. I once played Cash Game and Tournament using an android application that runs smoothly and I am sure your money will be safe there.
I can say it is not that easy to play on ios though, never tried on android so I can't talk about that.

Will there be any other changes or marketing to get more people? I feel like we are actually easily the best poker game out there in the crypto world, literally better compared to any other poker game out there but for some reason we are not getting users that much, hell feel like we might actually even dropped in numbers a bit in the past 6 months, the first months of that 3.0v thing there were some but gradually instead of going up it went down.

Or at least feels like it, I find hard time finding 9/9 tables for example, that is one of the most important part of the website if you ask me, the more the merrier and the more is not always around (it does happen sometimes but we should have multiple 9/9 tables not "time to time" one table).
3313  Economy / Gambling / Re: WavesTokenCasino.com - Play with most established Waves tokens on: November 16, 2019, 02:27:22 PM
Waves token has always been a front running figure in the world of dapps, now considering it is a wildly used and loved token among altcoin people it is not a shock that it would of course have a casino in the end. I have seen plenty of casinos "add" waves as an option and that has always been enough for everyone so far but having a "waves only" casino that takes waves into the main spot for it was probably needed. How much was it needed?

Well, it depends on how great the casino will be like, if the casino gets a good rep and it is liked by the people there was a need for sure but if it is not good and has some issues (coding related of course, otherwise scam has always been a problem for every token/coin) that means maybe people will continue with other websites that has waves as an option only.
3314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best alternative to Tether? on: November 16, 2019, 01:44:15 PM
Facebookcoin will be a very different beast and we don't know whether they'll allow it to touch any exchanges beyond their approved ones, and even the approved ones may only allow exchanging to proper fiat currencies.
If libra were to happen that would have been the best alternative to it but unfortunately it looks like it is going to be postponed for a while and probably even cancelled so I doubt we will have Libra as an alternative.

Everyone was against Libra and the whole world wanted to stop Facebook from creating it and they might have managed to achieve that from the looks of it but what they are forgetting is that facebook would have been an improvement over the horrible companies we have right now, plus would be funny to see Winklevoss twins having a stable currency and Mark Zuckerberg also creates a better version of their stable currency Cheesy.

Right now, the only one that looks semi-legit is USDC and even that doesn't look too comfortable to me right now so fiat is where I directly go to.
3315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Newbie Traders Lose money? | Risk Management Basics on: November 15, 2019, 08:36:06 PM
Veterans may end up not looking or caring about these things because they already know them and they sometimes get too confident.

Not because they don't know them or they don't understand them, they do know all of these if they spent a bit of time but unfortunately sometimes they get too snob and confident about how they trade and forget to check these things which ends up with them not caring about it.

Yes, that is still a mistake and they should be checking every single risk management but it is not the same as newbies not even knowing what these are and that is why losing money, both end up with the same result but they go there from the different routes. I don't know if it should matter if their routes are different when their results are the same but there is that difference for sure.
3316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving Price Prediction $55,000 - $130,000 on: November 15, 2019, 05:49:19 PM
Maybe on the other halving? I mean right now the cost of bitcoin is around 8 thousand dollars, I am not entirely sure how they calculate it because the cost is different everywhere depending on how much you spent on the rig as well but in the end we can say the minimum it could go is around 5-6 thousand dollars and the max is around 10 thousand if you have a horrible setup with a high electricity cost.

So, if you get it to halving how the hell could the cost make it go to $55k to $130k? It is not possible, even on the greatest of possibilities it is around 20 thousand dollars and that is a really high stretch. So all we have right now is $55k to $130k all because people hyped up the bitcoin halving way more than they should and we are predicting on that?
3317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitgoin is going to moon 1.5.2021 it will hit 236K on: November 15, 2019, 05:04:33 PM
What the hell is "bitgoin" Cheesy could it be "bitcoin" ? I get that sometimes we mix words together in our minds and bitcoin+going became bitgoin probably but that is one hilarious typo Cheesy.

I feel like $236k is not really sustainable for bitcoin ever. Not now, not ever, probably around $100k is the max we will get, at least for now, sure in 100 years time $100k dollars will not worth something much, that would be literally a "cheap car" price like we have at $10k right now, however this says 2021 so it is not that far off and inflation will not go that high in 2 years.

So, long story short bitcoin will not be $236k in 2 years, it won't be like that in 10 years, maybe it will be in 50 years, that is possible because it is long way down the road and we don't know what the inflation be like.
3318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: November 15, 2019, 03:58:13 PM
I guess if common sense dictates that anything that looks too good to be true that means it usually is, however anything that looks fishy and scammy is also that as well. So, there is really nothing that you can invest if you go into common sense, bad looking ones are bad, good looking ones look fake, what the hell do you invest?

Hence, all you have to do is check the team, that is what I do and it worked not bad so far, if the team is hard working and actually does anything that means they are good, if the team doesn't really do much other than creating web pages and designs and market their product instead of actually working on it, that means they are bad. Try to stay away from the ones that has the biggest marketing budget, the good ones always have a big development budget instead.
3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 15, 2019, 01:29:56 PM
What happens if BTC is still rally to 100K ?
ALTS ?? dump to zero
at the moment BTC sideways until end of the year
Alts do not go to zero, what people really forget is that when bitcoin price goes 50% higher and ethereum price goes only %10 that is still a profit in dollar terms. So, that is why altcoins don't have to go to zero when bitcoin goes up, sure it could go down in bitcoin but if bitcoins dollar price goes up and altcoins bitcoin price drops down less that equals to altcoins price going up faster.

In the end there is really not that much to do when you are left with a choice of biggest coin going 10x up and your altcoin dumping, if bitcoin reaching to $100k is only going to happen if my altcoins goes to zero I will take that because bitcoin going up could recover all my losses from my altcoins and put some profit on top of that as well, lets hope it does really happen.
3320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid falling into a FOMO trap on: November 15, 2019, 08:42:20 AM
Well, FOMO is not really a "trap" there is one thing in bitcoin world that I always trust and that is bitcoin will always go up, maybe not today, maybe it will be lower next year but in the end it will definitely be higher in the long run. Same goes for not that many coins, ethereum looks good, eos looks good, but tbf there are not that many.

So, if you want to pick a coin that you want to invest then you have to trust yourself and work hard and research hard of that coin and just trust the coin because some other people told you it is going to skyrocket. Other people who own that coin will always talk about it like it is the last coin that ever existed and will ever exist and it should be going to 100 billion dollars market cap real soon because they honestly believe that.
