2681  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: July 15, 2020, 04:28:12 PM
I just noticed the new look, it is wonderful IMO and I have no reasons why I need to switch it into the old one.
Adding theme is possible but I think it will only for something like the background and font only.
If you ask for them to have an option the switch the overall look (old one to the new one or vice versa) I do not think they will do it.
New look is usually happens for update, and update version is also better as there might have few changes for make it better. But when any major changes/updates that may take few time to understand the system of the updated version as many a days/months/years used the previous/old version. Also, at beginning the updated version might make uncomfortable.
Yeah, that happens whenever something is updated in design. Remember when facebook had design changes? I mean each of them got super amount of anger from the users because we get used to one and use it for years and years and suddenly one day we wake up and all of that is gone and now everything is somewhere else and we are having hard time finding what we want and where we want it. Same happened with reddit as well pretty recently as well.

So, all I can say is, stake might change some stuff, but when they do that change, do not expect people to be super happy about it right away, some very loyal fans will support stake no matter what they do, but rest of the people may not like it at first, but not because design is bad, it is because they are just too used to the old one.
2682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why hasn’t Bitcoin’s price skyrocketed? on: July 14, 2020, 10:11:34 PM
Why it hasn't in 2019 or before that? At least now we have pandemic and slow economy movement everywhere but 2018 and 2019 were full of downfall markets except few weeks. Just due to recent halving, is it right to expect bitcoin prices to be skyrocketing right now? Probably the concept is right, but we must give it time to accumulate and then starts its rally. Moreover, bitcoin is obeying its four year cycle almost with all aspects. So, this year could be bullish mode in the second half but pandemic condition is making us not to conclude in concrete manner.
2683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you buy/use Bitcoin if you knew its price would not reach a new ATH? on: July 14, 2020, 08:58:31 PM
I am not using bitcoin for its price? I mean I do get that some people are actually using it for pure trading and making more fiat. But you do realize that bitcoin is a currency right? Like it is not some stock market share that you buy and sell to make a profit and that is all it is good for? I think it is quite important to realize that bitcoin, even without any outside fiat currency help, is worth something.

Just to give an example, if you remove all fiat in the world, you could basically sell an apple for 50 satoshi, you could sell a computer for 1 bitcoin, you could basically use bitcoin purely as a currency without needing to use anything else like "x amount bitcoin is 100 dollars" type of understanding. So yeah, I would definitely use bitcoin even without price going up or down.
2684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 14, 2020, 08:08:47 PM
There is a big difference between the economical problems that you feel, and economical index of countries. Just to give an example, if 3 super rich people make 100 billion dollars each, that 300 billion dollars richer in economy as overall and that means financially nation will look like it is improving, while everyone else could lose 50 bucks overall and that wouldn't change anything about it.

So, as you can see everyone got poorer and only 3 people got richer but economy "looks" better. What bitcoin works is right at that moment, it works when they say "it is doing better" but it is actually not, and it works when everything is actually for real getting better. How will it be when poor people are poorer but also rich are poorer, basically everyone is poorer, I do not know.
2685  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 14, 2020, 07:04:12 PM

Nobody is going to beat this guy.
Is that really possible?

I mean, during those rounds. He did not even click on a freeroll to claim the BTC faucet and have free lottery tickets.

Only one of three possible events:
First, he just bought a lottery ticket using a satoshi.
Second, from one of his referrals who only once claimed the faucet for a week.
Third, from his play Multiply BTC wagger a total of 500 satoshis

Is he so lucky?

I also think that he is really the lucky one and no one can beat him.
I think there was a way to check out the lottery winners provably fair as well, just like dice, so you would know they are not lying.

However the thing is, there is no reason to make that up for freebitcoin, if they want to cheat people out of money, they could just picked an account with a lot more tickets and gave them the win instead to make it look real, but they do not have any reason to do that, because they are already making profit.

Not on lottery obviously, because tickets are given away free from everything, hell they are giving free ticket to free faucet claims, that is how much they like giving away.
2686  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: July 13, 2020, 08:19:50 PM
To be honest Ferrari looks like a brand new team in formula 1 right now after the FIA investigate them last year they seems to have no pace for Q3 or getting podium ( the 1st one was pure luck from them as a lot of cars had 5 seconds penalty and they had the lowest fuel in the car ).

Also Renault has made a statement to FIA against the Racing Point F1 team as they think the car is to damn similar to Mercedes but that doesn't mean they don't have the right to compete... . In my opinion Renault is annoyed that they can no longer compete for that 5th spot in championship as both McLaren and Racing Point are strong this year.
I am starting to get a bit sick and tired of these Mercedes wins. I mean don't get me wrong, they deserve it, and they are working very well making the perfect car ever and they are paying (or however they do) the best racers and get amazing racers, but at the end of the day, when you know that Mercedes will end the season with championship for sure, it becomes a bit boring.

Kinda like the period where warriors were so good that nobody had chance to beat them at all. Of course things could change, warriors had curry-klay-durant-dray-cousins lineup at the start of the season on paper, so everyone thought it was %\100% guaranteed win, almost everyone got injured and they lost to Toronto in the finals, same could happen here with some crashes and some unexpected stuff, but if nothing goes unexpected, it is going to be pretty boring.
2687  Economy / Economics / Re: The Covid19 Curve is Flattening on: July 13, 2020, 06:36:14 PM
It is not really a curve that would get flatten more like get more used to it by now type of situation. We are already at a level "we do lose fewer people every day" type of situation where people are used to losing people to covid and started to expect that is something expectable.

I think the point here is really that covid will become part of our life and since there is so many people infected everyday and very few dying, I think people will start to look at it like it is not a big deal anymore. Of course that is a wrong thing to think because it is still a very important thing but we are doing much better (maybe except USA) than we used to thanks to prevention like masks, but that does't mean that we should just go back to how things were and suddenly be better, that won't happen.
2688  Economy / Economics / Re: Privacy Coins and The Shadow Economy on: July 12, 2020, 09:50:30 PM
I never really understood why it was so important for people who didn't do shady stuff as well. However if that is a thing that people really want and who am I to judge them, if that is their thing they should do it. But there is no way this could get better and one day become something huge.

I mean we are talking about something that could keep the pedophiles of the world hidden thanks to being such a privacy focused thing, now don't get me wrong I am not saying every user has to be shady, some of the mare quite smart people who just doesn't want others to be in their finances and that is a very good reason, but just because you are using it for the right reasons doesn't mean that everyone else does it as well. So in the end privacy coins could face some troubles in KYC form.
2689  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 12, 2020, 09:09:43 PM
The name "free bitcoin"is very commonly searched by everyone who needs free bitcoins and hence they land on FreeBitco.in and rightly so because freebitco does offer free bitcoins after every hour.

I guess people may not be looking for gambling, but they are gambling here by dozens. You could see how much is gambled (and yes free one is included in that) and thequin can tell you how much is wagered per day, but this place is far from just a free bitcoin place for the gamblers as well, they are looking for gambling here as well. If I am not wrong I remember something like 150+ bitcoin wagered per day for a while? I might be wrong thequin can fix me on that.

So yes, people do search for "free bitcoin" and come here and get their free coins as well, hell I do get free coins in form of interest right now because free faucet is not the only way, there is interest too. But, that doesn't mean that that is the "only" thing people do in this website, they totally gamble a ton here as well.
2690  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Keeping it's limitaion Between 9--10K on: July 12, 2020, 06:36:42 PM
There are times when bitcoin is stable and doesn't move too much, people think that bitcoin is a volatile currency but in reality whenever there is a price movement that is usually not a price movement that is constant and for a long period.

Normally bitcoin stays around the same price for a looooooong time then it moves like 50% higher and 50% lower and so forth in order to change, for example if we take the current price, it could stay $9k for like 3 months, then go to $4k and then to $12k and back to $9k in just 2 weeks, and stay at $9k for couple more months. This is why I keep trying to say people that the volatile nature of bitcoin is not constant and always, it is something that happens time to time and we should be waiting for that time, not expect it to move all the time.
2691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Miner's Strike! on: July 12, 2020, 05:36:47 PM
^That is the trouble with waiting for miners to do something but also being hyped about the halving. With halving we are requesting the nature of bitcoin to give less power to miners, we are happy that there are less bitcoins mined per day, and 900 bitcoins less per day as well, so we are happy that miners do not make as much bitcoin as they used to do. However we end up waiting for them to stop selling, or even buying so that the price would go up as well.

We have to decide, do we want miners to have power so that they could change the price higher, or do we just not want them to have any power at all? If we are happy about the halving and the fact that they are mining less bitcoins now, that means we should hoping that they would do something that would benefit us as well.

I wanted to check Lando Norris and the dude is still at 32.60 odds. I mean I get it, he had only one race where he made the podium and he only had one "fastest lap" so far, and just because he was good in the last one doesn't mean that he will be great on the next one neither.

However that doesn't mean that he is not going to achieve anything similar ever again neither. Dude is a young kid who basically "practices" his racing every single day at home, of course it is probably nowhere near to the real thing and if it was we would watch just streamers all day in real races, however it has to be at better than not doing anything.

All the older racers are not doing anything during Lando practicing at streams, so even if it is not great it has to be somewhat better. Which is why I think with time Lando will eventually get a first place, and I  think it will be soon as well.

Warrn Buffet has a nose for money. You can't really compare us to him Cheesy

As for long term, i agree. But you have to realize, most people are impatient, and check their balance every day (i know i do), and when they see few consecutive days of negative numbers, we start to worry.
Few days of that, and weak hands kick in, and well, you know the rest...
Well, you do not have to be like him, that is not really something anyone can easily do, it is really not that easy at all, however one thing is for sure, if you watch him closely from his start to finish, you will realize that there are few things you can do in your life that mimics his life style and even if you do not make as much money as he did, you would be at least outpacing inflation and that means you would be getting richer.

The whole point of that message was to tell you that warren buffet has investments dating as further as as 1980's and if you are looking at 6 weeks of results or any "weeks" of results even if ts 50 weeks, you are not really doing yourself a justice. Find a 100% trusted investment and just put it in there for 10-20 years and you will realize that it is higher than you could ever imagine.

-snip-

Oh I wasn't criticizing them at all, or asking for 24/7 events. Did my wink not suggest that? Anyway I don't have the time to participate in events these days and the ones on Bitvest can get really crazy with all the crowded chats these days.

I'm just for some auto, mainly small manuals, taking part in promotional periods more than events. Good luck to all, keep that events channel popping:)
Yeah, things could get a bit out of hand when that many people all trying to do the same thing and leaving the number aside, there is whales as well. I think bitvest managed to reinvent themselves with the recent marketing and I think that is why the chat is so crowded as well. Rains probably play a big role as well in these situations normally but I don't know here.

I think investing into a casino is one thing that people really feel in love with and because of that people really just make it their job to promote it as well, because at the end of the day you are not just promoting one website for their sake, but you are promoting for your own sake as well, when you are investor and find whales to come play here that means you will make money too. So, they give a great incentive for affiliate marketing.
2695  Economy / Economics / Re: What they mean whenever they say Bitcoin was born in the wake of 2008 recession? on: July 08, 2020, 10:11:03 PM
Well, it was never intend to be profiting thing, do you really think that when bitcoin was created, the idea would be "buy bitcoins at lower dollar value and sell it at higher dollar value so that you would have more dollars" ? Do you really think that you would create a currency with the idea of making more of another currency? Of course not.

When people say bitcoin was created because of 2008, they mean that governments gave bail outs to banks to keep them open while punishing absolutely no one and causing hundreds of millions of people worldwide being at an unfair disadvantage because they still need to pay their mortgage while banks didn't had to pay for their own debts. So bitcoin was created in order to create a decentralized and fair situation and not to make more money.
2696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: July 08, 2020, 09:53:57 PM
I would say one important part of trade bots that if you are using online ones, you are putting all of your money in danger. Not because the bot company will steal your money, they are making tons of money thanks to you anyway and they do not need to steal anything, this is a very lucrative business that earns people millions of dollars so no need to scam people.

However, it is quite risky because people would want to hack that centralized location and if they achieve it they will manage to take a control of everyone's money and they could pump and dump any coin they want (hard to withdraw them) and take your money away that way. This is why I would say that its crucially important you pick bots that you have to download to your own computer and install it to make it work.
2697  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: July 08, 2020, 09:29:27 PM
I think there should be some sort of insurance plans for the big companies. If you are a big enough company that you make over a billion dollars in revenue, that means you should be paying over a billion dollars in insurance so that you would be saved.

This is not really that bad for the big companies because they could do whatever they want and if they go under like they ALWAYS do, they would be saved by the country like they ALWAYS get, but this time the companies will be paying for it with the money they previously paid for. This way the public wouldn't be affected neither, because right now governments print money to save the big companies and that affects the inflation and that hurts the people who are already barely surviving when they did nothing wrong.
Well, if you really want to beat up inflation rate you need to be rich, no poor person with 100 dollars will beat the inflation and actually make a change. Let's say you have 20% increase in your portfolio, that is what... 20 dollars? That will not help you get any richer, which is why working towards beating the inflation is not really a good idea.

However if you have enough to money to actually make a change, the best way to go is almost always gold, it really does increase above the inflation rate and if you want you can put it in bitcoin as well that would help too. If you can buy real estate and rent it out, that would be superb as well, that way your estate will gain value over years but also it will give you rent income as well, with enough places you can turn that income into another purchase and another and continue to grow bigger.
2698  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: July 08, 2020, 09:08:43 PM
People just like bitcoin but it is not only about bitcoin as well, everyone focused on that part. I agree that "whatever people are willing to pay for bitcoin, that is the price" mindset and that is most of the reason why it worths so much, however there is one more reason that people are forgetting about.

It is also about how much people think dollar and other fiat currencies worth as well. When you say something like "one bitcoin equals 9 thousand dollars" you are not only saying that bitcoin worths a lot, but you are also saying dollar doesn't worth that much as well, those are hand in hand stuff. Which is why I believe dollar loses both value and also worth in people's minds over the course of years as well and that is exactly why I think a big reason of why bitcoin worths so much is that dollar loses value as well.
2699  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest, ETH Number Hunt Competition just started! on: July 08, 2020, 08:19:18 PM
the fact that you will not instantly earn a big percent amount in just a couple of weeks. Probably it takes years before you will have a good result and there should not have a variance of your investment that the most you worried about. I saw a thread on the gambling discussion board about their investment in Bustadice and Yolodice but as what I saw there it seems all went good. Their profit was still there even OP updated the thread weekly.
Let me add few more things on investments and how much they worth. For example, the first time Warren Buffet invested int geico was 1996, that was 24 years ago, or coca cola in 1988, that is 32 years, or Gillette for example 15 years ago. As you can see this dude has investments stretching 4 even 5 decades in total. He is one of the richest people in the world and he didn't made that much money by investing into silly stuff for a quick return. No, he did smart and wise decision into what he should buy and made profit in decades, and I mean really long periods, so you know he has waited for those profits.

In the end if you want to invest into yolodice, that is a smart decision, but if you want to actually make a difference in your life, you have to wait not "weeks", doesn't matter how many weeks it is, you have to wait "years" to make it worthwhile.

You are, probably, the only site around with so many users(38 million) and so small team. You are doing great, guys! Amazing!
By the looks of it there is two potentials that could happen (well probably three but the third one I doubt it). This place is so awesome, and so much profitable for the owner I am sure, that it is getting to that level where they are just way too big to not get attention from super rich.  And I mean people with billions of dollars, probably not their own only but also a group of people, like hedge fund for example or just a startup angel investment firm type of deal.

Either wetsuit will decline all offers and realize that he has a gold mine so he could just mine gold "small" (not small by any means but not collectively compared to offer) instead of taking 5-10 year profits in front and just leave, and keep going. Or one day someone will offer him so much money that wetsuit will have hard time saying no this time Cheesy.
