3521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you really think bitcoin will reach 100k $ in 2021 on: August 21, 2019, 05:02:10 PM
It is not about how much number looks big or what people think, it is about how much money is in order books for both sides (going down or up) and it looks like there is way too many sell orders compared to buy orders when we are going up, hence if you want to go to 100k I am sure some of the orders we have will be gone because people will want to sell higher when they see price going up however there will be A WHOLE LOT more put on sell orders because people will want to cash out on their profits, we are talking about billions of dollars cashing out of bitcoin world which means we need at least that much and then some to make it keep going up.

We don't have that kind of hype or interest towards bitcoin, sure we have some but not billions of dollars of trading.
3522  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY 21 MILLION BITCOIN CANNOT SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD on: August 18, 2019, 05:01:18 PM
21 MILLION bitcoins that is, you are forgetting how much satoshi that would end up with, right now we do not have that much of a problem with how much bitcoin we have and how we can actually make sure everyone gets their share but in the end if bitcoin becomes so popular that 21 million bitcoin won't be enough for everyone we can literally find a way to drop prices to satoshis instead of bitcoin (getting a coffee is satoshi anyway) and that way we can easily send and receive in satoshis and talk prices in satoshis etc etc without a problem.

Real problem is think of bitcoin at 210 thousand dollars for example, even 1 satoshi will be super expensive and I don't know how we can deal with both fee's and spending bitcoin on small items like lets say a cup of coffee, which is why number is fine but price is dangerous, getting too high might create problems.
3523  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong Kong Activist Leader Calls For A Run On Chinese Banks Tomorrow (Friday) on: August 18, 2019, 03:15:22 PM
I think the problem will not go on as much as people think it will continue. The good part about Hong Kong is that it is not a one party regime like china, which means if people are really against the president then they can vote him out next term, if he doesn't lose and still gets many votes then the protests we are seeing doesn't mean anything and only a vocal minority that doesn't mean it is what the whole country wants.

Of course, the police brutality part is bad but there was movements all around the world some of which made changes in the government but at the same time there were few who didn't counted to anything and government got voted back to rule which meant it was actually vocal minority that was making the scene. Lets wait until the next elections and we will know whats going on for real.
3524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calm down. on: August 17, 2019, 06:43:58 PM
^^ It could be called pump but definitely not dump because there is no going down Grin. The method is basically pump and dumps just the pump part but its so much big and so much money involved that it doesn't considered as a pump but a bull run.

All of the bull runs we had so far in crypto has always been people who are getting into a coin all together, that could be bitcoin that could be altcoins but when there is a hype about the price of a coin that is considered to be going up there is a huge rush and everyone buys it and that creates a big pump looking movement. That is why pumps and bull runs are so different you have to literally do a fake volume and fake purchases for it to be considered a pump, if its legit a hope that it will go up than its called a bull run.
3525  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC delays decision on ETF again on: August 17, 2019, 06:07:46 PM
Honestly, as they have rejected so many until now, these decision of delaying do not bring me any hype neither, that is actually a good thing too.

Think about it, if we were expecting a lot and assuming it would be getting accepted and than it got delayed again or got rejected we would be let down and the price would fall, however considering nobody expects this to get accepted now there is no pressure and even if it gets rejected than the price would be not affected however if it somehow gets accepted (Doubtful) than it would affect the price greatly and it would go up.

So, there is no downturn here, there is nothing that could affect the price badly, its either gonna be zero affect or it will be positive affect which is why I think its awesome. I personally love the situation right now because of it.

3527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction – $24,000 BTC/USD before Christmas 2019 on: August 16, 2019, 03:46:21 AM
I think in order for this to happen we would have to have a reason for bitcoin to go up. Right now, people are making a good enough amount of money from trading between certain levels and that is enough for them, others are happy that they are not making too much money but at least they are not losing too much neither, everybody goes home happy undamaged.

This is the reason it is really hard to change the price right now, it is doable with a certain amount of buy orders but right now that looks like a no deal since nobody is idiots enough to test out if that would work or not and nobody with that kind of money would be willing to lend it for such purposes. That is why we need a huge news that would change things up and shift money around so we can actually rally up that much.
3528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 13, 2019, 06:00:15 PM
Looking at how they played against a team like Manchester united (still not a bad team obviously but not as high on anybodies list as Liverpool or city) I doubt Chelsea will have a good season, I am guessing the turmoil in the team last season has moved to this season as well and they have been not doing so well this summer neither, I think they will finish top 10 anyway because we are talking about Chelsea and even though they may not be as good as the teams at the top they would always be better than the teams at the bottom and beat them easily which would give them enough points to be at worst 7th in my prediction but I do not see any top 3 from them let alone a championship this season, its more Liverpool and city era right now and until that is over (god knows when) no other team would really rival them I think.
3529  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: August 13, 2019, 05:13:33 PM
Did they announce something new? That game has been coming soon since i joined this site. Even the not unannounced games are scheduled to be released in summer and fall, and they are supposed to come after HILO. I don't give up hope, but things should be more transparent on what's going on and what's the reason for the delay.
Unfortunately there hasn't been any announcements about the new games, there should be though because we have been playing the same games for a while now and it is really getting boring so a new game could see a surge in wagered amounts, after all people would love to test out new games.

People who play on other games already would move to new games to test them out and try to have fun a bit there, people who have stopped playing on old games would comeback to play a bit on the new games as well which means there would be more people playing the new games (at least for a while) than old games. It would actually be a great marketing too, they could just publish everywhere that they have a new game and just make some sort of banners about it and people would flock to it.
3530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie - when to take profit on: August 13, 2019, 03:23:05 PM
I think when considering something as low as 700 pounds you should look to increase your position and have a big portfolio instead of trying to trade, that is an amount that could be valid as an investment not as a trading capital. Of course there are tons of people who trade with less and so can you if you want to but I wouldn't suggest it since making just a couple bucks would mean nothing whereas if you increase your position with time and invest more money in the end you can do a big deal.

Unfortunately, in economics small scale investments rarely have big impacts whereas big investments actually can make a big difference in your life, that is why wealthy people manage to keep making more and more money since investing big amounts have bigger returns even in % not just pounds.
3531  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to daytrade on bitmex with leverage on: August 13, 2019, 02:51:43 PM
I think more than these you gotta realize that leverages makes it very quick to liquidate and lose if you make x100 leverage and whatever you go down (ie; x50, x10) more chance for you to not lose all of your money all at once.

People look at margin trading and think that they can make x100 of what they normally can but they are forgetting that they can also lose all of their money in return as well. Lets say you wanna buy 1 bitcoin at 11 thousand dollars, if you normally buy and it goes up to 13 thousand you make 2 thousand profit and if it goes down to 9 thousand you lose 2 thousand, if you do leverage you either win 20 thousand dollars or you lose all your 11 thousand dollars, that is a huge risk to take and I don't know if anyone realizes this enough to risk all their money.
3532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: August 13, 2019, 05:15:35 AM
I think technical analysis has some merit to it, its definitely not the end all be all and there is definitely more things that go around for bitcoin for sure but at least its showing us the path that it took which rest of it up to us, I mean if you see the path it took it doesn't mean it will take the same route once again but it at least means that we know what path it took when something happened and it could very well be a guidance for us in the future, that is something we cant just neglect.

Hence, I still think that even though technical analysis means absolutely nothing for the future its great for analyzing the past and try to estimate the future. Do not give it too much importance but do not just let it be and not care about it neither, find the middle ground.
3533  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Risk worth strengthening our economy ? on: August 13, 2019, 04:22:09 AM
I think there is really no risk involved, after all you can always have a double method system for a long time until people start to fully to bitcoin. For example, if a country wants to improve their economy they could potentially start to accept bitcoin for the resources they are selling, which means they would have bitcoin in their reserves instead of dollars or any other currency when they are making money.

This would allow them to leverage their profits against the dollar, normally dollar may gain value against that countries money and everything could get more expensive but if they are getting bitcoin then they could profit from bitcoin going up higher than dollar, so they would recover the difference. Its just very minimal risk and would definitely create a safe space.
3534  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: August 12, 2019, 08:02:06 PM
I think this is going to be more like a test run for the bigger companies in financial world. I know you are thinking facebook is a giant and they are making a lot more money than most other companies and so forth but they are literally a social media company that could literally go to zero as soon as another company becomes bigger, just to give an example if instagram decided not to sell their company to facebook and whatsapp decided not to as well and they joined forces as just one company I am pretty sure the combo of instagram+whatsapp would be a lot bigger than facebook right now.

Myspace and all similar stuff is a known story as well because they went up a whole lot and than right now they worth nothing, whereas financial companies who will be watching this libra run closely have a lot of money that can't be gone that quickly plus they bribe politicians heavily so when they actually go bankrupt they get bailed out by the government.
3535  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: August 12, 2019, 07:28:55 PM
I think if you are not careful about your bottom line then you are not going to be happy with the high tech as well.

A country can't survive on just high tech without having farms for example, if your farming and food production is insanely low then what matters if you are building apple or Samsung or have google, look at USA for example, dudes have the biggest technological companies in their country but they are also building the biggest farms as well, there are farms as big as some islands for example.

Hence, if you don't take care of your bottom line then you are going to have hard time with your upper levels as well, take care of small stuff first then move to big stuff. Some countries do not take the needed steps in the right direction for small stuff so they just keep failing at the big stuff as well.
3536  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: August 12, 2019, 06:38:48 PM
I triggered a BTC payout yesterday, the transaction was very fast and I received my coins almost immediatly. So it may be an issue with Doge-payouts only?

Did anyone receive any infos from the support?
Dogecoin has a problem of their own as well recently, I know its quite cheap to move it around but even cheap ones could have their own problems when the network gets clogged because at that moment you already sent and nothing you can change if the network is clogged.

However, the bad side is this is windices first test of not individual customer help but more about community request which they are already a bit too late, they have to deal with this and even if not at least talk here about what the problem seem to be, they haven't made a public announcement on a subject that has been asked by man here for days now and they haven't responded to anyone yet.

Maybe they don't see this as a big issue which could be true but great casinos take care of tiny stuff before they get bigger.
3537  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰TrustDice - We've listed USDT 💰Time to bet with USDT :) on: August 12, 2019, 04:02:34 PM
How do you give out usdt on claims and allow people to deposit usdt to eventually gamble with it? Isn't usdt basically usd itself?

Wouldn't that make your website a fiat gambling place as well? Shouldn't that have different type of legal issues with it? I mean you would have to have a license that would guarantee the safety of the money we are giving based on the nation you are in for something like usd gambling, its very rare and very difficult to achieve.

Crypto is one thing because not all countries see it as "money" just yet and any "gaming" license you have would be enough, like the slot games on mobile where you play to have fun with fake money but than you end up spending real money to get more fake money so you are basically still gambling with real money in the end, that works for crypto however as soon as you put USDT in there thing must have changed.
3538  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bustabit: scam or hack, you be the judge. on: August 12, 2019, 02:02:04 PM
On contrary, I think I am playing with a default account whenever I join, like I don't care enough to open an account because that would give me nothing of importance aside from keeping my nickname stable because I can deposit and withdraw from the account given to me anyway and that is enough for me, I deposit smallest possible amount, gamble a bit on auto to see if I am on my lucky day, then I just leave when my money runs out (I would love to see "then I withdraw my winnings and leave" but I haven't ended up with more money ever, it is always losing all my money Cheesy ).

So, basically multiple accounts is nothing, we all talked about how dude has no criminal activity neither, as everyone who reads this topic can see there is no shady thing going on neither with bustabit nor with these accounts neither.
3539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every thing I touch go down (gravity rulez) on: August 12, 2019, 01:15:09 PM
Everyone feels the same thing but it is not about you, unfortunately altcoins are having some bad times and all of them are falling very critically, which means even if you buy any coin and then sell it and move to another coin and that falls and move ... you can keep doing that forever and as long as the market falls whatever you buy will fall.

Only thing that is not constantly falling is bitcoin and even that is falling time to time and going up on other times so there is a big chance you hit that too. So, it is not just about you, anyone who ever bought any altcoin in the past 1.5 years will be saying the same thing and that applies to all of us here without exception. Only coin I know that went up during this time period has been BNB because binance managed to do some great things.
3540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What methods currently exists to buy Bitcoin with fiat without a third party? on: August 12, 2019, 12:20:20 PM
How do you plan on buying bitcoin with fiat money without a third part if you do not want to go to localbitcoins. I mean you can post on your countries section here on bitcointalk telling people you want to buy certain amount of bitcoin or want to sell certain amount of it but aside from that there is nothing I know. Maybe try to find ATM machines or maybe look for exchange offices that takes bitcoin? Those are all valid options. Aside from that there is really no way you can trade bitcoin without using some escrow because those escrows are for you.

I mean how do you plan on trading with someone using absolutely no escrow and hoping that you will not be scammed? Most of the time you will be scammed hence why there is a third party app to begin with, it is for your safety.
