3021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways To Distribute & Promote a New Coin on: February 10, 2020, 03:06:40 PM
Best known ways of promoting your own coin that you are planning on building is bounties, if you have funding via some sort of coin offering and spend bitcoin instead of your own coin/token that is not even published yet, you will get much bigger support since bounty hunters prefer to get paid in bitcoin instead of a made up coin/token, that is to be expected of course.

However for some reason, people who create a new coin promotes their own coin by spending their own coin which in return both diminishes the value of the coin by spreading it for free and also doesn't get as much attention as it could. Distribution should be limited to only people who buy/invest and help you get funded, which in return should be used to promote it with the funding you received for it.
3022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: February 10, 2020, 12:34:52 PM
USD Tether is a Bitfinex issued ERC-20 token which is claimed to be backed by dollar at 1:1 ratio. There are controversial opinions about this and some say it's a scam.

Do you trust USDT or believe it might be a scam?
Definitely it is not a scam but it may get collapsed at any time when more number of people cashing out their tether savings. I highly doubt about their reserve funds at the ratio of 1:1. They had stopped their transparent auditing functionality of their bank accounts which were held in Bahama islands. I am sure like most governments in the world, tether also must be having more circulating volume than the worth of their actual reserve funds.

I am currently not holding any tether but my exchange uses it for P2P trading. I hear many people are using tether for locking their profits of cryptos. You agree or not after the introduction of tether, people are able to short bitcoins even in the spot trading.
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whoa, Ethereum breaks the $200 barrier on: February 10, 2020, 08:52:07 AM
And it already reached 230 dollar levels, it literally made over 10% over 200 dollars right now and it keeps going up as well. I feel like maybe this increase could be attributed towards the hard fork but it is said that even on the best of terms the expected proof of stake update is literally expected about 2021 and not this year. Muir Glacer put forward the next one towards over 4 million blocks and that will be in a few years, which means there will be the ETH 2.0 with proof of stake before the difficulty bomb happens.

If they reach the proof of stake first in 2021 and in 2022 they do the difficulty bomb, then they will add in a quicker transactions and cheaper ones very fast which will not create a problem with the proof of stake slowness that everyone keeps talking about. So in general, this increase may have come a bit quicker than expected.
3024  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Rocketpot.io 🚀| 1 BTC WELCOME BONUS | Multiply Your BTC ✅ | Win Jackpots 💰 on: February 09, 2020, 05:08:16 PM
However, there is a distinction between doing something good and not doing it good and I fear that this website who have every right to be a place filled with jackpot hunters may not be doing the best they could ever do since their numbers are not really that high. If it was 100+ people gambling all for the jackpot that wouldn't be a problem for them, but when its 10, that sounds like a problem.
Depends, if those few users they currently have are wagering constantly every single day then it doesn't seem like a problem. In the end its all about the overall wagers made.
We don't really know the overall total ones, you can't just check a certain amount of period and check what happens. I mean if you just watch the place for 1 hour and try to calculate it from that, it won't work.

People could be not around during that hour and then they could end up coming in later and gamble more in the later stages? You could never know about it. That is why the only one with enough data is rocketpot and I doubt they will share the bigger picture, you can even find the wagered amount but you may not find the amount people won or lost, you can take an average but in the end maybe some big whale lost a lot? or won a lot? That is why only one who can tell if this few jackpot hunters who constantly play makes them any money or not is the rocketpot team themselves.
3025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 09, 2020, 03:45:24 PM
Lakers beat the warriors by just 5 points, I don't know whats wrong with them nowadays but I feel like they know they made the playoffs easily already, they wanted to show off and prove people that they are the best team in the west right now and played the best game they possibly could but now that more than half of the season gone, they know that they don't really care about proving people how good they are anymore, so they may have let the foot of the pedal and just coasting towards playoffs.

In playoffs they have to really get better than this and start playing like they played at the start of the season, specially Danny Green who started to score very bad recently. And also, this season looks like the first time Spurs will miss the playoffs in over 3 decades, gonna be a hard April for all of them.
3026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy only bitcoin or take chances in altcoin casino? on: February 09, 2020, 03:12:42 PM
At first I thought about "casino" as in literally casino, like buy altcoins and go gamble with it on a casino and I was confused why these were two options which are totally different from each other. To everyone who assumed the same way the way I assumed, normally what OP is trying ask is the fact that "would you buy bitcoin which is guaranteed or risk it with lower altcoins with a higher chance?".

I personally think you could divide your portfolio a lot in order to make both of it work together, for example lets say you are going to invest 10 thousand dollars right? You can put 5 thousand dollars into bitcoin, 2000 dollars to ethereum, 1000 dollars to xrp, 500 to dash, 500 to stellar and continue like that for all coins you like. That way you would be heavily into bitcoin but also have smaller coins as well.
3027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run confirmed ? bitcoin ready to $10.000 on: February 09, 2020, 02:19:40 PM
AAAAND we are over $10k. Maybe just a tiny bit and that is not really a lot, but at the same time we are making a ton of improvements on bitcoin constantly thanks to this new increases. When price keeps going up constantly, even if its just small and tiny increases, its really awesome because it keeps the wheel going on.

Price standing still or going low is not helping anyone out at all, price going up even just 100 dollars would mean the bull run continues, the price going up 5%+ means the price is literally going up like insane and the bull run continues in a way that we may have another 5%+ anytime. Maybe for a week we will stay between $9.8k-$10.1k or whatever but as long as it stays like this, we will see $11k very soon, investing into bitcoin right now would be a great idea.
3028  Economy / Gambling / Re: Malubit.com | new bitcoin betting platform - Same as Bet365 platform on: February 08, 2020, 06:30:05 PM
It is understandable that there are third party organizations that help you with sportsbook building a lot, just offers you a chance to open up your own website and when there is a winner or loser that place pays for it with you getting basically an affiliate income even tho you look like a whole website yourself. I realize this but still feel like (even tho most places use that system) maybe getting your website individually acclaimed is more important to promote the system you are using.

Just to give an example I am sure even stake is using a third party right now, but that doesn't change the fact that they are promoting themselves first and foremost. So this place (even if they are legit and good) is starting on the wrong foot by stating what should have not been stated.
3029  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: February 08, 2020, 05:59:59 PM
Jazz didn't even win the game for real, sure the official result is a Jazz win and if you bet for Utah to win you got the money, but we all see the replay, the ball bounced off the glass and Dame scored the points and for some reason Refs refused to call it a goaltending even tho it was clear as a day that it was a goaltending, nobody can ever deny that was 2 points at all.

NBA has been doing very well lately with viewer numbers going up and all that but if they do not stop with these horrible REF deals they are going to get a big problem, they have to get decent and honest refs that will do their best to officiate the best they can instead of just trying to dictate whatever goes on the court because they have some ego problems against players and if NBA doesn't stop it, they will start to lose views.
3030  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC restoring faith in bull run. on: February 07, 2020, 04:58:02 PM
This is kind of what we need as a whole community. When bitcoin starts to go up people get hyped about it on both sides. The buyers start to buy more because it is going up and they fear they will miss out on the potential profits and the sellers start to remove their orders of selling because they fear they will be selling for less than what it will be. That is exactly the reason why the resistance point keeps changing as well, people remove their orders from lower resistance points and put it somewhere higher which kinda helps and hurts us at the same time.

It helps us because we can "break" the current resistance easily but it hurts us because they keep putting it somewhere else, I mean if they are willing to remove it, let them remove and not put anywhere and just sell on market when they feel it is better, which would mean they could sell higher without a resistance point.
3031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Realistic 3x - 5x on: February 07, 2020, 04:08:43 PM
Shills of any coin would literally just say anything in order to get more and more people interested in their coin and maybe get bigger. Just to give an example, you can check coingecko and there is literally no 3x in a year, you can literally go there and check the chart and see that it has been around 10+ cents all its life but there was a small uptick during when it first happened, for the past 300+ days it has always been around 13-18 cents with exception of being 8-9 cents for a while and 22 cents for a while and that is literally the all it has happened.

They are literally not even listed on coinmarketcap even tho they have been around for over a year so I can honestly say that shills will be shills and say anything they can to shill their coins.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance price prediction for 2020 on: February 07, 2020, 02:49:51 PM
BNB wasn't BNB because of IEO, sure there was a lot of reason to buy it and use it during those days but the reason why it was created is not really for use of IEO at all. The more things BNB is used for the higher the price will go and that is why IEO was a good example why Binance should find a reason to get people to use BNB.

However, in a scenario where BNB is never used for anything else, there are more and more trades and volume on binance every single day, there isn't a single day where nobody trades on binance, every day millions of dollars changes hands there which means they will get trading fee and many of those traders uses BNB for trading fee payment as well. So all in all the need for BNB will never be gone, it could shrink but will never be gone.

BTCHello!I do not know what is happening on this site in poker, before there were freerolls where you could win some money for tournaments or cash, but now it is practically impossible because freerolls have become 4 where 40-50 people play!
But that's not all they did 50 and 20 mbts tournaments where the same people are constantly winning, with the 2 nd 50 mbts tournament ending in 2 minutes, where 12 people played, 3 in 20 mbts ended in 1 minute, today and yesterday just as possible, you support multi-account, or use bots, or launder money!
that means you are giving 120 mbps a day to these 12-13 accounts, super users!
Just Incredible!!!BTC

So basically you're complaining that 40-50 people play these freerolls , if possible sportsbet should host exclusive freerolls just for you , so you can make sure you win the prizepool alone . And because there are some regulars who play it for you it means they're bots ?

Well , maybe I'll join aswell , so these freerolls become +1 .

What's incredible is that you're throwing a tantrum over them providing you with freerolls with a pretty nice prizepool , and a 40-50 people registering to it means it's quite easy to cash-in on the prizes .
People who lose on poker will always claim that there was something else going around because poker is not a provably fair game.

On dice games or plinko or any other technical stuff there is always a provably fair system that casinos can show to gamblers that they don't scam them because they don't have to scam them thanks to house edge since they will win anyway, with sportsbook the teams play, if the teams sell the game themselves (like how there was issue with Serie A about 10 years ago or so where Juventus and all dropped leagues) that is something no sportsbook could ever deal with, that is individual issues with the teams, which means there is no way any sportsbook could scam customers on sportsbook as well.

But, when we talk about poker, there is literally hundred ways people can claim a foul play and that is why poker websites do not work well on crypto world.
3034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 06, 2020, 06:44:07 AM
I have been able to achieve a lot of things by using Bitcoin. When I started Bitcoin in 2013 there is a huge difference compared to now, I wasn’t even expecting it to have gone this far, it really surprised me with how far it has been able to go.

I discovered Bitcoin as a freelancer. I was working on a project and the contractor asked me whether I accept Bitcoin, before then I have came across it because I have done other online jobs like Paid to Clicks and some of them mentioned Bitcoin as one of their payment method but I never used it till then. Fast-forward to when the contractor asked me about it, I told him that I accept Bitcoin. And he told me to get address when I’m ready, I rushed and did some research on it and got the best wallet as recommended then which is Coinbase. That’s how I got into Bitcoin.

Bitcoin feed me and helped me to lead a normal life like most other people in my city. Before adopting bitcoins, I was in debit but now I have some savings in bitcoins. I guess the improvements in my financial status could not become possible if I would have ignored to accept/adopt bitcoins.
3035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 06, 2020, 06:03:58 AM
You have quite a really good idea for convincing people and I might be trying that out someday. Though most people I have met, the problem is not that they think Bitcoin is a scam, the problem is mainly that they are afraid that the money they put into Bitcoin they might lose it.

There is one of my colleagues that likes Bitcoin but the fear of losing his money keeps discouraging him from buying Bitcoin. He’s always afraid, and the worst part is that sometimes the price of Bitcoin would go up and he would start regretting why he never invested, and then within a short while it drop and his fears will come up again and he’d start he’s lucky for not investing lol. I stopped talking to him about it because I understood he doesn’t have enough money so there isn’t money to risk.
3036  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Rocketpot.io 🚀| 1 BTC WELCOME BONUS | Multiply Your BTC ✅ | Win Jackpots 💰 on: February 05, 2020, 06:26:02 PM
I guess it has been always a jackpot hunter type of website and that is why there is always a low number of turnout on any given moment and most of them are just there for the jackpot. They have never been one of the places that actually does anything for the players who do not care about the jackpot, like the regular people who do not play the jackpot but just the crash part like in the bustabit people, they do not really come here, this is not the place for that, this place is only viable and entertaining if you want to play the jackpot game and that number is very low.

In the end, they only know themselves if they are happy or not, if they are not happy with the number or the profits, they know what they can change, if happy then they can continue what they are doing.
3037  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the best broker to change bitcoin to fiat on: February 05, 2020, 04:31:12 PM
Yeah, the technicality involved with going further would both increase the cost and also sometimes doesn't worth it neither. I would prefer coinbase as well if I was in USA, thankfully there is better options here in my nation, yet that doesn't change the fact that even tho Coinbase has a steep cost, it is still making things incredibly easy for you as well.

You send money via bank transfer, have the money in your coinbase account, buy bitcoin with it, do whatever you want in between, then when you want to sell your bitcoins and get dollars on your coinbase account, transfer it back to your bank account and everything will be there. This may sound easy but it is insanely difficult to build a business like that, so their costs justify the expense for the users.
3038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Trading Make The US Economy Stronger? on: February 05, 2020, 03:45:05 PM
If countries can increase the UBI system to a level where it works (right now there are unemployment benefits in some countries) there won't be a need to have a nation with workers, we can literally have a whole nation with absolutely zero workers and still make a profit at the same time.

All they have to do is sell the information they have and that would be enough, for example if one nation has a patent for the greatest car ever built, they could rent that patent to another nation and they will manufacture it and sell it and make money while the other one collects rent for the patent. I am not saying that makes sense or doable but it is literally possible. A whole nation of academics would still survive theoretically yet it is not practical and would eventually fail in the current system.
3039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: February 04, 2020, 06:42:30 PM
Honestly, I don't really mind that kind of trading if you really needed the money. Bitcoin should not be something that stands in between of you and your needs, it should be something that supports you for your needs, so cashing out to pay for something is actually the perfect reason to not care about the bitcoins you have, an even more perfect version would have been spending bitcoins directly but I suppose we still have few years until that happens.

If you want to increase the amount of bitcoins you have and keep working on your portfolio, you should do that in between times but when it comes to paying your bills or paying for something else, I do not see a reason not to cash out, don't care about the satoshi value or altcoins, just cash out and live a better life.
3040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 04, 2020, 06:07:27 PM
If you think you can find that "right" altcoin, it is always the right time to invest for it, yet it is really hard to find that right coin.

The trouble is not the time for altcoins but the option of which altcoins. Historically speaking, on every single day there is one coin that has the most profitable one that increases insanely high, even one horrible days there are ones that make 20%+ profits, which means it is always the time to invest into altcoins as long as you find the correct one that will make that jump that day.

I personally feel like right now is a great time for accumulation and not going all in, I would buy small by small every week on the coins I personally like, which goes to show maybe it will go up or down but I would increase my numbers slowly.
