Resistance zone from 465-476$. Moontime if >480$? I can't see any PnF resistances, only the tops from january(465) and december(475). Very, very thin market currently.  3 more milestones for Moon IMO: 1) Close at Sunday above 2950 2) Close at least 1D above 3100 3) And of course break the previous high from November EDIT: The above are Huobi prices |

Some more long term view (for investors and more long term traders):  The box size is based on ATR 100 and it is about 14$. Pay attention to the double bottom we formed at 220$. Relatively 'safe' longs: 350-395 450-520 540-680 700-1000 >1200 EDIT: But basically if we break 440$ it is a buy. If we break 220 next stop maybe 165$.EDIT2: Updated image with bullish support line. Holy crap, I had seen it coming! lol |

Why I told my subscribers to take profit (and go long in ALTs, especially ETH):    What ETH did:  The situation in BTC now:  So is BTC doomed? Probably not. This was a nice short term trade up to now but we are still short BTC until we break the 2810-2820 resistance (Huobi). This could go really bad medium/long term so no need to buy back unless we hit 2825-2830 (or some very solid support). After all, we made again (in China) a lower high - last times did not end up well. First warning sign would be 2730, then if 2700 falls. Very bad if we break 2650, doom if we break 2600. |

Medium term trend is bullish again. 2850 (Huobi) would probably mean moon. Here is BTCChina mid term (BTCChina 1D HL 1%x3):  We are still on buy mode and 2785 will give another buy too. Here is a long term chart from Huobi (1W HL):  Still on buy mode here too. Triple top break at 2850, triple bottom break at 2600. Both very strong signals. The buy column gives a Price Objective of 3950, exactly where the yellow bullish resistance is (for a possible new X column). EDIT: Some people here gave me feedback that my signals are for day traders - quite the contrary, most of my analysis is for medium/long/very long term.

I am long too BTC (playing with alts with them).
The medium term chart maybe bearish now (above 2813 we are bullish again) but long term we are still bullish.
Add to this list openbazaar which will might bring some more dumping relief at exchanges.

Sometimes a Fibonacci is all you need:  The Fibonacci drawn from November high (3340) towards the low (1884), shows that Bitcoin struggled to break (and failed) 0.786 resistance. It found temp support at 0.618 but broke below and now it become resistance again. 0.5 is invisible. Soon we will visit 0.382 (2415cny) and maybe even 0.236 (2200). Below 2000 cny it is abyss. |

Trend is BEAR...
There will be no bear trend. There will be stagnation between 400-420 USD for some weeks. Technically, for a certain chart I use, we are in bear trend. Other charts (more long term) still bullish but I don't think that the halving alone is enough to reverse the trend back up from 450-500. Actually, it may was already priced in from 240 to 500 and it can create (combined with a bear market) a severe negative feedback loop for BTC. I want to remind everyone that BTC follows exponential trend in changes.... You are hardwired in your brain not to see exponential changes until it is too late. |
