Lol I was making a joke that we reached the TOP.

Anyway, 331 is a buy signal....
China did not follow and it double toped at 334.

so what happens next?
A new bear trend is now 33% probable (we closed daily below 318).
Another 33% will be if we close below 310 and another if we close 296 and lower.

If this was only a pullback, next stop will be between 345-385 (can't be more accurate at the moment).

As for lower targets we have 274, 255, 248

Very cool stuff as always!

I agree with 270s and I also see a top (if really bullish) around 330 as you depict in the main near-horizontal trend line.

After that, no clue from me...

This will go nuts above 385, let's see if it will break the 335-350 zone to test it.

china already broke it. ^^
Yeah, I mean for the western exchanges  Cheesy

Huge accumulation between 215-305.

POs for this chart are:

Vertical 673
Horizontal: 330

I will go with the more conservative one (330) because it is confirmed by the 1st bullish resistance too!!

Because we have daily close, I expect the price to close at 330 area and spike higher, probably in the 340-355 area.

This will take time of course. Or not.

Mind you that the PO of the below long term chart for the upside maybe 350$ but for the downside is 102$:

Bitstamp 1d CLOSE 3%x3

The PO are based on the Vertical counts of the following columns:

1) The reversal X column from the 173$ low, which was partially hit (305$) but then was INVALIDATED by the triple bottom break. I still give this count though a chance because I wanna be good with Bitcoin (but this may be very wrong).*
2) The triple bottom break at 213$, which will need a new buy signal to get invalidated...

POs may be soft targets but they tend to give a pretty good feeling on where the pressure is heavier regarding the trend.

*Also because the trendline held.
Apologies, the X column vertical count gives 673, which is IMO invalidated for good. The PO was based on an horizontal count.
What we get from an horizontal count in case of a new breakout is 330$, which is about at the second bearish resistance line too (334$) and it makes more sense!

So to sum up, until we have a new breakout, the PO is 102$ but as long as we hold the bullish trendline we can have this only in the back of our head...

So, is it here?

I wonder in which currency BTC will be withdrawn after the dump?  Fiat, LTC, Doge, XRP?   Roll Eyes

That would be a personal preference, I'm afraid. In any case I'd like to diversify to an "unlinked" to BTC currency / or crypto. The obvious reason is to try and hold your buying capabilities right after the crash... Wink

This "unlinked" currency is Fiat and XRP. Almost 50% of XRP trade volume comes from fiat. So I agree with klee - fiat and XRP are real candidates.
Also DASH & XMR had strong rallies in a point that BTC was bleeding but there were some hack/theft/exit scam incidents too so it maybe not relevant.

Fiat & XRP IMO (regarding XRP it happened in ALL BTC bubble pops so why not? Also, it is reaching all time lows...)

BITSTAMP 1d CLOSE 2%x3

BITSTAMP 1d CLOSE 3%x3

These are CLOSE charts, it may spike higher from the resistances (both bullish & bearish). Data are from yesterday's close price (305.67$).
755  Economy / Speculation / Re: PnF TA on: October 29, 2015, 08:03:36 PM
Speaking of PnF, any chance of an update Klee?  Smiley  Still see 335-350?
Been insanely busy lately, apologies for disappearing from here.

There is strong resistance there IMO.

Last bearish resistance is 1d CLOSE 450$. This means that if we close more than 1d above 450 a new ATH is very likely.

Of course there are horizontal resistances (mainly 650-750 and 900-1150) but I think it will get insane beyond there.

But we have to go 325 first....
756  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin long-term exponential trend (updated regularly) on: October 29, 2015, 06:31:19 PM
Remember to sell when it goes up 100% a week, the final day is 30% per day. We are not yet there but things can evolve quickly. When this happens, it is a local peak, has been many times before and is now Smiley

when do you recommend to buy back after this happens?
130$ lol

Everyone is following XMR as well. Some strategies don't involve shouting.

Everyone is following XMR as well Grin but Monero community following DASH Grin I suggest that you to sell your moneros coz it ll go down under the 100k soon. and then it may pump again.
Thank you captain obvious - it has 50% chance of this happening.

It will either crash & bounce lower or bounce now.

Bravo!!!

I've been watching XMR price closely for more than a year now.

Someone is selling aggressively XMR (profoundly a whale) to break the price and buy back lower. Unless it is a hacker/thief who had laundered the BTC to XMR and now does the opposite (I don't think this is the case because the selling is aggressive but very careful, done from a serious trader).

I hope he does not use leverage  Roll Eyes

I've been observing this as well. He/she/it also has a pretty sophisticated bot, that constantly places random asks etc. In addition, he nearly always places a group of small asks (mostly something like 150-250-300) near the price and some bigger random asks (1-4k) a bit further away. His "manipulation" is quite salient. This behavior started after that massive (shortsale) dump until 0.0013, when basically all the loan offers were taken out (not immediately by the way). I've also seen this bot in a sort of reverse mode, but it mainly supresses the prices currently (like Klee pointed out).

I don't think its anything more complicated than some whale has a boatload of xmr and they want to cashout to fiat. Currently the only process is to go from xmr -> btc -> fiat, because at he/she/its level of holdings, an OTC trade probably wouldn't be wise ("oh yeah here's my 10k USD paypal transaction doop dee doo"). The value of all cryptocurrencies are linked to btc value, so this could be someone just seizing the opportunity to cash out of cryptocurrency while the gettings good. To do so at maximum value requires using a bot due to the liquidity of xmr. I'd say this is backed by the fact that this action has been going on since btc started its multimonth rise.
I think not, he is too aggressive to suppress the price when it tries to bounce.

Agree with Klee here. Also, if he wanted the best price he wouldn't push it this aggressively. He would cash out in a more elegant manner. Also, I think he is not only running a bot, but also occasionally market dumping like Klee pointed out before.
Huge news for ETH - http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2015/10/28/bitbeat-microsoft-to-offer-ethereum-based-services-on-azure/

Maybe they were dumping to get in ETH!
