TPTB talking with David? I wanna see this...
I'll ask David to invite you into the convo. Wish every success to this project btw (it does not need my wishes of course, it will be a sure success).

Thus I will open private discussions with the Iota team (apparently mthcl and Come-from-Beyond only?) now to see if they are interested in collaborating.
Contact iotatoken instead of me, please. I'm just a programmer who happened to know some stuff because of necessity to implement it in the code. TPTB talking with David? I wanna see this...

Bought some more XMR today!
In this alt slaughter I added significant amount of XMRs, BTS & ETH in my portfolio (ETH gave a buy signal by the way).
BTC owned = 0
I've heard a lot of people were getting into BTS, but I've never really understood the value of it besides more than mere speculation... Idk if they offer something new in the crypto world like XMR or ETH. But then again I really don't know. Bitshares 2.0 is more anonymous than Monero with mandatory stealth addresses and an implementation of Confidential Transactions already live on the blockchain..... it seems less speculative than Monero's plans to implement their own version of Confidential Transactions. https://github.com/cryptonomex/graphene/wiki/StealthTransfersI've always thought investing into purely privacy concerned Cryptocoins is too risky, as the technology is bound to improve upon itself and nothing is stopping other coins with more features from adapting the same privacy techniques. IMO- if Cryptocoins are to grow into real-world use, rather than geek-land use... they are going to have to be simple to use and install, have a lot of beneficial features, and have slick GUIs. Most real-world people are too sheepish to worry about privacy. That is why you've never seen me on the Monero train. I got tired of coins fundamentals long time ago - I have PnF now that works wonder with volatile instruments like alts. I only need volume. I should have clarified that all my alt investments is based mainly on this (volume). But I prefer 'old' and established coins or new with serious backing (like ETH). I avoid pump & dumps meteors! Hey, I mined PTS back in the day...

If BTC breaks 275 all alts* will get hammered hard. At some point they will bottom (regardless of BTC price action) and then they will bubble.
If BTC goes below 230 I expect XMR to rally hard too.
*(The alts that I have under my trading radar are XMR, BTS, ETH, XRP & a bit NXT - I am afraid that the latter may never bounce, so I am watching only for the moment..)

And before you post some more BS make a google search (that you love) to find when Greece was last at war.
Also, when we had the last victims from hostile Turkish action even if in 'peace' time...

rpietila,
I read that East Ukraine was being funded, trained, supported, and infiltrated by Russian paramilitaries.
Hitler sliced through many nations of Europe with ease.
I am writing about the will, means, and philosophy to turn away from socialism and toward individualism. Europe is not doing that. How can you accuse me of generalizations when I write factually.
Europeans are not fighting for gun rights for example. They don't mind the overly restrictive gun laws. Some Americans are fighting every day about this. Instead they are fighting over political organization of socialism, such as fairness, taxing the rich or not, and austerity.
You even said yourself that Europe is more socialist. The part we disagreed about is you think Europe has equivalent numbers of individualist-minded people as the USA and ask you to please prove that to me, because I haven't seen it yet.
Even Eastern Ukraine was not an individualist result. Eastern Ukrainians are fighting over whether they join Kiev or Russia. They are not fighting for their sovereignty. All the Europeans want to join some bigger political system to gain what they perceive to be advantages that come from larger collectives.
Maybe because they are burned, sick and tired of ALL these centuries of conflict, war, blood, GUNS, discord etc? Mind that Europe (especially Balkans) and Middle East are the places with the biggest historical depth and most bloody ethnic/politistical/religious conflicts (China was far more homogenous). Also, when you say Europe you have to understand that there are many Europes - like Balkans and Mediterranean countries, former Easter block, Teutonic, etc etc Finally don't be naive that Europeans don't have guns - they have maybe more than US citizens in certain places. Do you really think that in Balkans not 1 out of 2 people don't have AT LEAST one shot gun? Kalashnikov's are abundant too I can assure you. Europeans don't need to 'fight' like naive Americans for laws regarding guns - they either have in secrecy or not. Try a trip to Crete and you will be convinced. It is almost an independent state. You are a google search polymath (like in medicine/biology & probably maths, cryptography, programming etc). Same applies for your knowledge in Europe.

Economy / Economics / Re: Winklevoss Exchange Gemini Struggling to Win Bitcoin Traders
|
on: October 17, 2015, 08:39:04 AM

Gemini, the long-awaited New York-based bitcoin exchange founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss and billed as the "Nasdaq of bitcoin", finally debuted on 8th October. Featured in articles by The Financial Times, TechCrunch and Wired, and promoted via a TV appearance on Fox News, Gemini it succeeded in grabbing the attention of the mainstream media like few industry products before it. While a success in terms of promotion, however, Gemini is showing signs it is struggling to appeal to bitcoin's active trading community. Though representatives of the exchange stated they're seeking to attract a more institutional clientele than their competitors, avid bitcoin traders tell CoinDesk that they believe this strategy will be difficult to execute. here is the full article : http://www.coindesk.com/winklevoss-bitcoin-exchange-gemini-win-traders/Anyone knows how much is the trading volume on their website comparing to the other exchanges ? it's kinda crappy because they don't make their price or their stats on the first page and we can't make an account unless we are from USA . https://tradeblock.com/markets/gmni/xbt-usd/1h/

Very cool stuff as always!
I agree with 270s and I also see a top (if really bullish) around 330 as you depict in the main near-horizontal trend line.
After that, no clue from me...

i've opened some longs on ltc nao.
let the dice rolls! ^^
This is the spirit! With cryptos only insane trades make sense... hehe, also, how about ppc? seems quite resilient despite a total lack of interest. any chance of a mechanical pump resulting from some btc rise somehow? is the bottom in? btw eth is crashing to oblivion Have never looked at PPC, I will check it though later! ETH, BTS, NXT, STR almost all cashed hard. I am hoping XMR will make another leg down but chances are 150K will hold (unless BTC goes nuts from here which I doubt - probably we will have a pullback here or at 260-262).
