501  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Improving Bitcoin Protocols against attack on: October 19, 2023, 11:38:29 PM
Most likely would be the Bitcoin Discussion area.

A "Fix to weaknesses in bitcoin architecture" would be rather technical, they don't fit in the Bitcoin Discussion area in my humble opinion.

His topic would be best suited in the Bitcoin Technical Support board, although if it's mining-related, this section would fit best.

Alternatively, you can just post it here and then let the moderators decide where to move it to.

Code:
34xp4vRoCGJym3xR7yCVPFHoCNxv4Twseo

504  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: DON'T mine to Antpool -- KYC imposed. on: October 19, 2023, 09:27:52 PM
Couldn't pools in less restrictive locations just take over? Do we really have the risk of them all becoming KYC mandatory?

All of them becoming KYCed is probably not possible, but then if only 1-2 large pools end up not being KYCed -- that won't be good for decentralization, however, I think the world will somehow reshape itself at one point in the near future, as it stands right now, the main country that makes the universal rules is the U.S, if the U.S bans or imposes something, all of its followers (mainly west and center EU and the other countries that you all know) will have to follow the footsteps, with the current war in Ukraine, the BRICS, possible takeover of Taiwan, the war in Palestine, all of these things happening at the same time and as sad and devastating they are, it looks to me as a huge change is coming, the world will be less decentralized and enforcing monetary policies won't be as easy as it once was.

I expect some large BTC mining operations will take place in Russia, and some large Russian mining pools will emerge at one point as well.

With that said, I personally don't trust any government, whether it's the U.S., Russia, or my own government, and thus, a decentralized pool of some sort will be a must at one point.

505  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Solo mining help on: October 19, 2023, 08:05:44 PM
Thank you very much for your response.
I think I will stay with ViaBTC as it was the only one that opened properly.

Viabtc is a good pool, however, using only the fact that stupid firefox opened that without an issue unlike the rest of the pools is a terrible idea, it should not be your point of judgment, most browsers and security applications are stupid and paranoid over anything crypto.

Did you try a different browser?
506  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gaza and international law!! on: October 19, 2023, 02:13:47 AM
I haven't claimed anywhere that New York Post is OSINT community.
You clearly didn't read that article and you also didn't bother to check the OSINT community yourself.

Alas, you cited NYpost article and said "look, they said that OSINT confirmed that Hamas struck the hospital" and I said, there is no such claim, link leads to GeoConfirmed which I followed closely, and read all the analysis, and nothing there that claims what you claimed, and since you failed to quote the source I now have the right to assume that you did not read anything past that NYpost article.

If you even follow GC you would have seen their last thread where it say

Quote
It rules out a rocket misfire. It means the possibilities are:
1) Israel uses heat-seeking missiles (via cruise missile or airstrike) to destroy the rocket launchers, they fired some here and accidentally also hit the hospital, perhaps locked onto hospital's power generators
.

There are all sorts of speculations and analyses of what has happened, NONE of them say that Hamas struck the hospital, so again, where is your proof?
Quote

I've just posted one source from all the sources I've read about this. Is it so difficult to look it up or are you afraid to see some Hamas propaganda getting debunked into pieces?  Cheesy

You have not, you just posted a link to NYpost and claim it's solid proof, am asking where is your proof, you expect me to find it for you. Cheesy

So, you are saying that there were two explosions happening?
From the pictures we know today, that can't be true.

I don't know, you need to ask that official Israeli account where they got the video from, and why they deleted it after being confronted.

Quote
And like you've seen in the picture in that wired article, the hospital seems to be intact, doesn't it?  Wink

But you said Hamas struck it, so make up your mind, which one is it, the hospital is fine or Hamas did hit it?

Also, you seem to confuse missiles with nukes, the hospital is 27,500 square meters large, you could hit one whole block and the rest wouldn't be affected, now whether 500 people were killed or not is up for debate, based on all the evidence I have seen so far, adding that to what I heard from friends in Palestine, I think it's highly exaggerated, I doubt the number is that large, but as in every war, when you launch an offensive you take the blame for the actual and the fake deaths, if a Ukrainian dies from a heart attack during a Russian offensive, you can effectively blame the Russians for it, the same thing applies here, when Hamas attacked Israel they had to bear all responsibility, they can't say that person died in a car accident because he was running away from us, it's common since the attacker pays the bill.

Quote
Your strawmen proves exactly what? I can go to Twitter and pull out fake videos from any side so that's proof enough to debunk a claim? This is proving exactly what? - Nothing!

It proves that Israeli officials posted a video dating back to 2022 to "prove that Hamas did it", and then it was deleted, why did they have to have to do that if they were not responsible? why did they need to make an obvious false claim if they were too sure that they were innocent?

Quote
When Russia attacked Ukraine, there have been videos from a chemical explosion in China from years ago, normal Twitter users are not the OSINT community. They will re-post anything for clicks.

What normal people? the account that posted the video and then deleted it were

1- Michael Herzog (Ambassador of Israel to the United States)
2- Israel state account (State of Israel's official Twitter account)

Why do you think they posted the videos and then deleted them? these are not my words, these are Kolina Koltai's words, and the fake video posted by the two accounts can be found online.

Quote
Hamas is a terrorist organization and everyone is suffering from them.

so are the IDF and the Israeli settlers, so if Hamas considered a terrorist organization when the the IDF is not? if we were to take the number of civilians killed by both sides, the IDF would win by an order of magnitude, you could call Hamas a terrorist group that's fine, Hamas could disappear after the war but nothing will change, the resistance ideology of Hamas will live forever, until the Israeli's elect a government that would put an end to all the suffering of the Palestinians, ditch the idea of building their Zionist empire that extends beyond the current occupied lands of Palestine to Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.

The Palestinians lowered their demands over the decades in order to reach a mutual agreement with the Israelis and put into effect the two-state solution, they are now left with the last bit of land since Israel never honored any of its agreements, when someone has nothing to lose - they would do anything to take revenge, they couldn't care less what you call them or think about them, if you want to help the Israeli people live in peace, then help them get rid of this radical governments, sit on the negation table and have one last serious negotiations to bring peace to the whole region, launching airstrikes, invading Gaza, killing every Hamas member will not end the suffering for both nations.

The collective West has the power to enforce that, but they are not willing to do that, it's almost like they are happy with the conflict since it does achieve some benefits for them.

Quote
But what these Hamas terrorists did there, murdering thousands of israeli civilians in such a brutal way, is not acceptable at all.

Killing civilians is unjustified for anyone under any circumstances, fighting for your freedom is a right you were born with.

Quote
The fact, that we now have in Germany antisemitic rallies from "pro Palestine" (pro Hamas) folks, who are shouting "down with Israel" or "gas the jews" in GERMANY, is not acceptable. Houses, where Jews are living, were marked like in Hitler's 3rd reich. This is not acceptable.

So now you are going to blame the Palestinians for the new Nazis? the Arabs and the Muslims alike have no problem with Jews (unlike the Nazis), the problem is with the Zionists, very different categories.

Quote
Unfortunately, international law applies and refeugee crisis is a very hot topic in Germany right now. Yes, we need changes but when we make changes there, someone will be unhappy instead.

As far as I know, most refugees there come from Syria, a country that was living in peace until (the U.S and its allies EU, Saudi, UAE, etc) decided to destroy the country, American troops are still there, making sure the country stays miserable, I think Germany shouldn't be the only one responsible here, you should divide the refugees between all the countries that helped in destroying Syria, and hopefully, this serves as a good less for Germany not to follow U.S steps in wars that bring nothing but tragedy to everyone except the likes of Lockheed Martin.

Quote
As I've said, the radical folks trying to force Islam onto European countries are very few. But they are existing and they won't refrain from suicide bombing our societey to death. I'm not interested to get an escalation, where more and more people are radicalized due to political islam. We have tons of nice Muslims in Germany, they don't make any issue at all, the problem are the radicalized ones and the past days have shown that we need to take it seriously. Like you, I'm also for a peaceful society.  Smiley

We don't blame the Germans for what Nazi Germans did, but you guys keep labeling those extremists as Muslims, painting the picture that this is what the average Muslim, when in reality the most affected people by those extremists are the Muslims themselves, in your previous post you mentioned "Allah Bullshit" which is a direct insult to every Muslim reading it.

What I know is, that the vast majority of people around the globe want to live in peace, I live in a Muslim country where most people can't even point Germany on the map, they don't even know the capital city of Germany, all they know is that BMWs are Mercedes are made there, many of them support Germany in the world cup (oh ya not much after the LGPT flag thing lol anyway) but in reality, they just don't care about Germany or any other place in the world, the sad part here is that many people in the West think that we wake up every morning to plan on how to harm you, invade you or anything of that stupid propaganda that the media spreads when in reality, we are busy working and hardly have the time for all that bullshit.

It's also worth mentioning that comments like yours where you tie the word "Islam/Muslim" to every extremist/terrorist will make things only worse when someone in the U.S shoots 10 kids at school, you don't say "A Christian terrorist", so it's only fair that we treat everyone and every religion equally IMO.

Anyway, this will be my last post in this thread, I always try my best to stay away from Politcs but my feelings get the best of me, sorry if I offended anyone here.

507  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: DON'T mine to Antpool -- KYC imposed. on: October 19, 2023, 12:10:52 AM
Antpool is done for, Foundry was never an option, I assume Binance is already full KYC since you need an account with them in the first place, Mara is private(?), Luxor is US based also, SBI is owned by former SoftBank, SBI Holdings so .....via and f2? Solo mining at ck?

Yup, we are running out of options, that's a whole brand new fudge we got there.

Probably the time to make a community-owned PPS pool will come soon, I always thought it would be to fight decentralization but it seems to be now needed to protect privacy, an anonymous PPS pool would be an interesting idea, something like the old p2pool with a smart contract of users funds that acts as a pool fund to distribute rewards to miners where the people who provide liquidity get paid some %.

Nope, just do PPLNS mining at the pool that is best for bitcoin Smiley KanoPool

You are based in Australia as far as I know, what are the chances that you will be forced to implement the KYC b.s to your pool?
508  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Solo mining help on: October 18, 2023, 11:37:37 PM
I tried to find the pools you mentioned above, and for ckpool & kano pool the browser did not want to go there saying that they have malware.
Ckpool (the normal pool) is no longer running, there is only the solo version of it online, and you probably don't want to use that unless you know what you are doing, the correct link to it is https://solo.ckpool.org/

Kano pool is a small pool that doesn't find blocks way too often and thus you will likely have to wait for way too long to get paid, in theory, eventually, the payout should be higher than the other pools since it has the lowest fees, I personally don't like to bear such variance, but to each his own idea.

Viabtc is a good pool that has all 3 payment methods PPS+ , PPLNS and Solo, you said you got the link to it, so i won't post it.
509  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gaza and international law!! on: October 18, 2023, 11:16:22 PM
Because it turned out that the rocket was fired by Hamas itself and it crashed near the hospital, like the OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) community has confirmed:

Since when did NYpost become  "Open Source Intelligence" ? where is your OSINT source?

Quote
It would be nice to get some facts instead of unproven speculations that. Because it turned out that your claim aged like milk.  Cheesy

You used the New York Post as your "fact reference" which is funny, where is your source of all the info you posted above? if you are going to quote another Western legacy media then spare yourself the effort. Cheesy

in fact:

Quote
In the hours after the attack, @Israel, the official Israeli account on X (formerly Twitter), posted a video it claimed was proof that the explosion was the result of a misguided rocket launched by Islamic Jihad militants. But within minutes, Aric Toler, a former Bellingcat researcher who now works for The New York Times, pointed out that the time stamp on the video showed 8 pm local time, a full hour after the explosion took place.

The post on Israel’s official account was subsequently edited to remove the video while maintaining its claim that the attack was not the result of an Israeli strike.

https://www.wired.com/story/al-ahli-baptist-hospital-explosion-disinformation-osint/

Kolina Koltai a senior researcher at open source intelligence (OSINT) Bellingcat said in response to the IDF putting that fake video and then deleting it:

Quote
“When you see people in such a capacity putting out a claim, walking it back, putting out a video, deleting the video, it makes it tough, not just for us to do our job, but even for the public to find out what’s going on,”

She also mentioned in response to some Israeli fake news

Quote
Head ups, there is a claim that the hospital bombing in Gaza was by Hamas. If you see the video below, it is actually from at least 2022.

So I ask again, where is your OSINT resource that confirms that the hospital was attacked by Hamas? if your source claims that it wasn't an airstrike conducted by a fighter jet, it doesn't change anything, your source needs to prove that Hamas was indeed the one who launched it, it's common since the attacker bares all responsibility unless proven otherwise.

Quote
Stop getting brainwashed from Hamas propaganda and find out, what really happened, backed up by proof.  Smiley

Hamas is a political movement, I couldn't care less what they say or do, just like Netanyahu's government, they would use everything at their disposal to win, and that includes propaganda, it's perfectly normal to dislike or a hate a political party including this army and leader, but what you doing now is hating on all the civilians who have nothing to do with Hamas.

what I care about is the lives of the innocent Palestine people who have been suffering since the Zionist state took place back in 1948, the radical government and settlers have put the lives of both Palestinians and Israelis at stake, you keep mentioning Hamas as if they are superpower who control the whole area, you don't seem to know that they don't extend past Gaza, but despite them not having a foot in the West Bank, Israel did not stop the killing of the Palestinians in the west bank.

You seem to be pretty misinformed, about the religious aspect in the area, Israel is fighting both Muslims and Christians, it's part of the Zionist doctrine which you don't seem to understand, it's Zionist (God's chosen people according to them) vs everyone.

Are you aware that ALL human rights organizations state that Israel committed war crimes and has been brutal to the Palestinians for decades? and that includes ALL Israeli human rights organizations.

B'Tselem one of the largest human rights organizations based of Jerusalem mentioned this:

2,260 children were killed by the IDF and the settlers from 2000 to date, 519 of them were way too far from Gaza in the west bank where Hamas does not exist, 1,741 minors in Gaza were killed by the IDF vs 4 Israeli minors

You would find a lot of interesting reads there such as "Top Israeli officials criminally liable for knowingly ordering strike expected to harm civilians, including children, in the Gaza Strip"

All Israeli human rights organizations will tell you the same thing about the brutality of the IDF and the settlers, if you are not satisfied with Israeli resources you can turn to amnesty which also states

Quote
Israel’s continuing oppressive and discriminatory system of governing Palestinians in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) constituted a system of apartheid, and Israeli officials committed the crime of apartheid under international law. Israeli forces launched a three-day offensive on the occupied Gaza Strip in August during which they committed apparent war crimes.

But no, this is all Hamas propaganda, they control the Israeli and international human rights originations to spread fake news.

Quote
I'm a very tolerant person

Hard to tell to be honest. Cheesy

Quote
that if you come to Germany

If you are annoyed by a certain group of people regardless of their religion or background, don't let them into your country, it's as simple as that to a superpower country like Germany, unfortunately, it wasn't the case for the weak Palestinians back in 1948 since no matter how hard they tried to stop the Zionist from taking their land -- they couldn't.

Quote
Yes, after Israel is wiped off the map, which is the goal by extremist organizations like Hamas or Israel etc., EU and USA will be next.

So why does this have to be in the order you mentioned, why can't it be EU, USA, and then Israel for example  Cheesy, I find it hard to believe that a country with 2% the GDP of the U.S, a small population of 10 million with little to no natural resources is standing in the way of the "extremist organizations" who plan to take down the EU and the USA, it's also worth mentioning that Israel as a state only come to existence roughly 70 years ago, so who was protecting the world from the "extremist organizations" back then? we know for sure it wasn't the Jews so who was it?  I am not trolling really, I just don't have what it takes to understand arguments with flawed logic.
510  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gaza and international law!! on: October 18, 2023, 12:42:22 AM
There is no international law, there is only "power" in this world if you are strong enough to do whatever you want -- you will always get away with it, the human rights and all the rest of it are just pure propaganda to feed the average joe.

As for the hospital blast, the Western media already has the plan to justify that given that the majority of their audiences are brainwashed, they could claim that this was done by Hamas on purpose or by mistake, they could also claim that Hamas was hiding rockets under that patients' beds, and those folks will happily accept the death of all those civilians and continue to send their hard-earned money in form of taxes to Israel because somehow, they think that if Israel is gone, the next target will be their country, and surprisingly this is common western propaganda, because the Americans think the U.S will be next after Israel, and so do the French and the British and everyone else who supports Israel, it's like the Palestinians have some secret nuclear weapon which will deploy to erase the whole world and the only thing standing in the way of that magical bottom is Israel. Cheesy

511  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't Stand With Either Palestine Or Israel on: October 18, 2023, 12:31:05 AM
If I would follow what Western media says, then I wouldn't even call Hamas as terrorists. They are too afraid to call them so and using words like fighters or miltants instead

You are making this up, Western media refers to Hamas fighters as terrorists which is where you got the word from, your subconscious mind led to you write that word when you were addressing Hamas but it didn't when you addressed the Israeli army simply because you are not used to hearing it.

Quote
I can call Israeli army if you will be more happy after that

It won't make me any happier, it would only make you sound less hypocritical to anyone with common sense reading your posts, you said you are not siding with Israel, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Quote
, but still their methods is a bit different than Hamas.

Since when do "methods of killing" define a terrorist? and how different? what is the difference between kids killed in an airstrike carried by an F-16 or a kid who was killed by an old-fashioned surface-to-surface missile? what seems to be the case here is that you are just making up excuses to avoid calling the Israeli army and government terrorists, what is your next excuse? Hamas and the IDF wear different colored clothes?

512  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: October 18, 2023, 12:13:41 AM
(2) After analyzing Hhampuz's reply, together with the thoughts he already had about canceling everything, that person decided to stop everything just like that, having no guilty conscience about signature campaign users, since he already informed Hhampuz that there are already enough funds to cover any financial damage (and he was right, as the funds were used for paying the campaign participants).
Leaving $14k behind in escrow doesn't make sense, and that's after the escrow paid all claims.

Leaving funds in escrow would still make sense even if we were to assume that this was an exit scam -- if the potential income from BTC transactions was higher, then the scammer would leave that money in escrow to keep the trust status while keeping the BTC deposits, it still stands correct now if this was a successful scam operation of 13 BTC why would they risk exposing themselves requesting a tiny bit of money compared to what they already have?

However, this still doesn't add up as a scam to me, not because of the DAI they left but because of what I said back then.

Quote
Let's think as a scammer, your main goal is to scam the most money, so now regular users of the forum are aware of your scam and they will no longer use your service, but everyone else who isn't active here and isn't lucky enough to read all the updates doesn't know, so in order to scam even more people you would want to

1-Fix the clearnet
2-Make some withdrawals from the multisig (to addresses you own) to make things seem normal
3-Change the color of the main banner on your website

Basically, anything that would make anyone attempting to use your service more comfortable so you can scam more and more money, if you don't do that, then it's one of four.

1- Stupid (obviously not the case here we know WW person here was pretty smart)
2- You feel bad and don't want to scam more people (would bet my first born that no scammer would do that) p.s you would just shut down the whole service if this was the case.
3-You are not a scammer and something bad actually happened to you.
4-You are indeed a scammer BUT something bad actually happened to you.

They did not fix the clearnet, they did not bother with writing a single comment here to assure everyone that everything was working great so that they could scam more people, they did nothing of what you would expect a scammer will do.

The most plausible scenario I can think of is that WW was run by a single person who had a history of running another mixer and stayed off the radar for a good while until they decided to launch WW, the person made a mistake somewhere along the line and got exposed by the authorities, he probably had to leave to somewhere "safe" where he actually had no access to the mixer's backend and was communicating with Hhampuz using a mobile phone or something, and then he got arrested.

Another very similar speculation:

Now if we track back to when all of this took place it was around 15 Aug 2023.

On Aug 17 Western District of Texas: U.S. District Court published case  1:23-cv-00312-RP document Document 94, a case between OFAC and Tornado Cash.

On Aug 23 Roman Storm (one of Tornado Cash co-founders) was arrested in the state of Washington

Hugeblack did mention the similarity between WW and Tornado Cash, adding that everything that happened around that period gives more "credit" to this theory, it looks like Roman Storm was forced to abandon the project, probably because his lawyers knew about the case and the arrest coming and asked him to stay away from everything crypto, which is what anyone would do knowing that you are about to be arrested and taken to court for a similar project you worked on in the past.

Furthermore, the person behind WW is indeed an intelligent person who knows a lot about blockchain + coding and also speaks very good English (probably someone who lives in an English-speaking country), and has a lot of funds to run and advertise such a project, Roman is a good fit for all of these categories (I am just speculating)

When adding everything together, I just can't believe that this was an average exit scam, it's just a project gone wrong as far as I can tell.(again, I am just speculating)

513  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Where to fix your Asic miners. on: October 17, 2023, 09:48:50 PM
For ASIC miner repairs or fixes, it's best to reach out to the manufacturer's official service centers or authorized repair providers. Many major ASIC manufacturers offer specific repair services for their products. Additionally, online forums and communities often provide recommendations for reliable repair options.

Only if it was this simple, in many cases, you can't just count on the manufacturer-authorized guys, these cases such as but not limited to

1- When you need a single hash board fixed and the manufacturer forces you to send the whole miner.
2- Long waiting times to get a miner fixed (happens during bull markets and when Bitmain launches a shit quality series where more miners need fixing than they can fix).
3- The nearest repair center is way too far and shipping alone would cost more than fixing it locally.

And the list goes on, if mining gear manufacturers offered a close to perfect repair service, none of this would have been needed.

Steamtyme has not been active for a very long time now, I hope he is alive and well.

It's worth mentioning that much info on this thread is outdated and shouldn't be used for reference as of today (10-17-2023) unless Steamtyme shows up to update it, some info stands correct regardless of all the things that have changed ever since but the things that changed make the overall of this topic outdated and inaccurate.

The most important outdated part of information would be the reference to the "Current list of competitive hardware", sadly with how fast things change, even the most efficient model mentioned in that article is now unprofitable to 99% of people, this topic used to be a great guide for newbies I wish Steamtyme would show up again to update it.

I am writing this a warning because I would hate for a newbie to come to view the outdated info and make decisions based on it, like buying an old S17 that runs at a loss now thinking it is the most efficient gear in the market.

515  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet would you recommend? on: October 17, 2023, 08:54:40 PM
Miners are using noncustodial wallet as the receiving payment, not a custodial wallet.

How can you tell? unless you meant to say "miners should use noncustodial wallets".?

OP.

First thing first, this has nothing to do with mining, mining ends the moment the pool sends you your payout to the address you registered on the pool's portal, what happens next is Wallet related, so your subject does not belong here.

To answer your question, you want to use a wallet in which you control the private keys, ditch all web-based wallets, and thing "Exchange", preferably a hardware wallet but then again not something like Ledger, your topic has been discussed a dozen times in the appropriate section of "wallet software".
516  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: how unknowns can solve more blocks? on: October 17, 2023, 04:21:56 PM

Unknown simply means whoever found the block had nothing that identifies their identity in the Coinbase transaction, so we don't even know if those blocks are found by individuals, small / medium pools  or even large pools doing this on purpose for some reason.

Now looking at it from a percentage standpoint, unknown blocks combined made up 7% of all blocks in the last year which is less than the 5 top pools individually.

He means Micro USB, the Amlogic C76 A113D has no Sd/Tf card slot, only a Micro USB, regardless, as Phill mentioned above, the k version is not supported by BraiinOS yet.

I also have a paranoia over the letter K in any Antminer Bitmain makes, this letter brings back sad memory of the S9k, I think k stands for KABOOM!, Bitmain collects all the bad chips and stick them on all the bad control boards they have and ship them to us like hot potatoes.

down load angry ip or advanced ip

search all your ips

typically your range may be

192.168.1.1-255

or

192.168.0.1-255

or

192.168.2.1-255

you will get a list of every piece of gear you are running

just search each one by one

you should find the s17 that way.

Most home routers DHCP's table would start with 192.168.1.2, but some will have say the first hundred reserved for static ips and dhcp table starts from 192.168.1.101, also, despite not being very common, some routers come with DHCP disabled.

I have also seen many people screw up the details of the miner network page by setting a different subnet, this will make you lose the miner and you would need to reset the miner either by hard reset or sdcard.

So now idk what is wrong is it the dhcp. Not sure what the dhcp tab did in the antminer tool....

DHCP does not belong to your antminer -- it belongs to your router, when you set the miner to DHCP it means the miner will have to request an IP address from your router, if for whatever reason your router does not do that you can't access the miner.

So first thing first, make sure your router has DHCP enabled and that the search range on the Bitmain tool covers the entire DHCP table, or even better, get the miner's IP using the router itself.
