Damn I'm having such a hard start on this competition this time :/
All my lost parlays were for one selection, and now another big loss because of Portugal. Six goals vs Andorra and 19 corners and now also 6 goals and just 6 corners, and I needed 11 :/

Oh well, waiting for better days.

Also any news about the new bonus system for side competition?
Where will the schedule for challenges be announced?

Made a few bets for the qualifying games of the world cup. I'm hoping France will win their game, on worst case scenario probably  a draw, but I don't expect them to lose it. As for Sweden, it's a hard game, but I think they must win because they are playing home. I fear a draw, but I decided to go with them anyway. As for Portugal game, and after last win, I will go for the corners market. I expect an offensive game, as they are motivated, but odds for goals and win are bad, so I think they will get some corners in the process, and the odds ofr over 10.5 are decent in my opinion.

Faroe Islands v Portugal
Corners Over/Under 10.5, Over 10.5 @1.69

Netherlands v France
France @ 2.22

Sweden v Bulgaria
Sweden @ 1.43
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: October 08, 2016, 02:00:26 PM
Could be. Actually it is. You use a lot of capital for it and there is this really big risk whenever you use it to play. Still it is not a good way to invest. Should be just for game and fun.

i think that its true because in gambling, we risk our money just to hope that we can win the games, if we are win, then the amount of money we can get is really big than our bet so i think gambling is considered a "high risk investment".

I think it would depend on the type of gambling. When you invest we should assume that you did some research and you think that the odds are in your favour. When I talk about odds here, I'm considering long term. So the investment might be hard to get, but since the return is so high, you expect to win in the long term. In gambling you don't really expect that. You are just trying to see how your luck goes, but you know that in the long term you will end up losing. Unless you are talking about sports betting or poker. In that case, since I think you can win long term in those games, then I agree and I would say it's the same as a high risk investment.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: October 08, 2016, 01:54:57 PM
Boavista vs Belenenses it seems under 2.5 goals has pretty high chance there, just 3 goals scored into last 5 matches into both teams there, I am quite sure under 2.5 goals will be profitable to place bet there, I think Boavista has more better chance to win this match because it has to play infield there.

Can't find that game, it's not for Primeira Liga right? Next games are just in two weeks. Is it for Portuguese Cup or something like that?
Anyway those teams don't score many goals when they play together, so I would say it's a nice tip. I just need to find the game.
But if it is for a cup or something like that, there is probably a higher chance of more goals since normally only one round is played.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 08, 2016, 01:49:46 PM
Grigor win walkover, seems raonic has let go this tournament to concentrate to another tournament. i never get this situation if one player walkover the bet will get refunded??

Normally it varies from house to house. You need to always check the tennis betting rules on every house you play, but normally they need to finish a set so that the bet is validated. If they walkover I think it should be refunded. The problem is that in some houses, if they play some service games before completing the set, and then retire, on some houses the bet is settled, and on other houses it's refunded as well.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling any one got cheated by house? on: October 08, 2016, 01:45:16 PM
In Gambling any one got cheated by gambling house?

Just share your bad experiences with any gambling houses so other people will be aware of it.

I don't think the house will ever cheat. They just don't have to. They have the edge on their favor, so there is no need to cheat. Not saying they can't lose money, because they can, but in that case they will not cheat, they will scam you and run away with your money. It's still a different thing in my opinion. I've never been scammed by the house as well so far, but I try to filter them as much as possible.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: October 08, 2016, 01:40:26 PM
yah play games on pc is very good and it was free, but there will be a sensation in itself if you're gambling. perhaps it makes people become addicted to gambling. besides the gambling game, everyone compete and try their luck, and if you feel lucky most big, maybe you'll win in that game. Well, maybe because it was a gamble that make people always addicted

I think it's a completely different thing. Computer games and gambling doesn't have the same appealing. Games offer pleasure for the game itself, and in gambling it's all about the risk and trying to get some profit. I like both computer games and gambling, and for completely different reasons. I won't say I'm addicted to any of those things, but the pleasure I got from any of them have different sources.

wow congrats to Junamalik. Already 100% and we are just in the first week. He still has over 50 bets to place, but he is doing a nice and steady profit, with decent odds, so I guess he will continue to increase his profit. I must say it looks really promissor for him.

Today I'm going for the games of Italy vs Spain and Austria vs Wales. I'm going to take some chances on these two and I'm going for wins of both Italy and Wales. Right now I only have what they did on euro, but I will trust them. On the Austria v Wales game I also expect it to be over 1.5 goals.

Italy v Spain
Italy @ 3.05

Austria v Wales
Wales @ 3.55
Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.43
Your bets are to risky because it's all of the time good to take a margin of error with a +1.
Plus, for me Italy v Spain is a match where we must to not do a bet. All the cases are conceivable in this match.

Yes you are probably right. Like I said I was in a mood of taking some chances when I made those xD
I think I was a little mad because kerber mess up my tennis parlay. Anyway I still think it's possible, but of course I could have done those in a much more "safe" way.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: my bets on: October 06, 2016, 04:00:01 PM
Just saw this post, that is a really good start, specially because your odds are quite nice.
I will keep an eye on your tips. Also I got the same doubt as JackpotRacer. Does your partner bets go for your win/loss ratio on your OP?
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who here bets more than $1000 a game? on: October 06, 2016, 03:49:42 PM
How much do you guys bet? Are you overall a winning bettor or a losing bettor long term?  IF you are a winning bettor who bets big, i would like to know if there are another books that is as good as pinnaclesports who won't shut you down or limit you if you win long term.

I think I'm winning medium term right now, because I don't bet long enough to be a long term betting, but I'm in profit.
My biggest bet was around 700 euro though, and I don't do it regularly like that. Actually only made two or three bets like that, so I never had any problem in submitting my bets right now.

Actually when I was trading I made larger bets, around 1000 euro top, but it was on betfair and I still did not have any problem with that. But since it was trading I was never completely exposed to that value, since I would close my trade.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From 5 mBTC to 526 mBTC in couple hours! on: October 06, 2016, 03:36:59 PM
That's sick man, at least for me. I never did any good on slots. I did some coins in roulette and blackjack but on the slots always sucked up my coins when I tried them :/
Congrats on your win man, and I'm glad you recognize luck and decided to withdraw to take advantage from it, and left only 9mBTC just to see if it lands again xD

IN Beijing two games are still to be today

Jaziri M. (Tun) - Raonic M. (Can)
Mannarino A. (Fra) - Nadal R. (Esp)

confident that Raonic and Nadal will win this matches today

Agree with you. Nadal is done, so only Raonic missing and it shouldn't be hard.
I got really disappointed with Kerber, as she messed my parlay with Karlovic and Monflis :/
Hope she doesn't turn on one of those players that just plays for the grand slam, and just uses the others for points maintenance.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: October 06, 2016, 03:17:19 PM
Yes, trading can be considered gambling as both need luck because markets may go against us and during that situation, we cannot do anything. The only advantage we get here is we are able to cut the losses by getting out earlier, while in gambling, once it goes, it never comes back.

That is the big difference. In gambling you lose it instantly while in trading there is this last minute that you can save your coins from plunging down. There would still be something left better than nothing.a

Well that doesn't always work. I know that's the point and it should be like that, but sometimes the market goes completely against you and you end up losing everything as well. No point in closing the trade, because it's the same as losing all the stack you were using. I'm not a very good example because I sucked at trading and stoped, but I ended up losing entire stacks not because I did not follow my exit strategy, but because the market just went completely the wrong way and there was nothing left to do than accepting a complete lost, like a "normal bet".

Betting on sport = gambling?
Please write your mind.

Well I voted for "yes", although I agree profession sports betting is not a myth. Although it's not a myth it's still gambling. You can call it professional gambling if you want, and I think it's possible both in sports betting, and in poker as well. I can't see it in any other place. Trading of course is the same, and you can even talk about sports trading (I tried it for a while). But even sports trading is still sports betting and gambling, but if done correctly it can be done in a professional level.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: October 01, 2016, 04:07:01 PM
I'm putting my faith in Monaco again. Thay usually do well vs Metz, and they are in great form, so I expect a win here.
I will play safe though and use the draw no bet on a parlay.

Metz v Monaco
Draw No Bet, Monaco @ 1.32
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: October 01, 2016, 04:04:26 PM
Today I'm going to Benfica and Braga. Chaves is doing well and is unbeaten, a good surprise for now, but are no match for Benfica that is motivated and wants to keep the lead. Of course that a surprise is possible but I will still put my coins on Benfica. The same goes for Braga. They only lost vs Benfica and have a draw vs Rio Ave that is also a good surprise for now, so I think they should win this one, specially since they are playing at home.

Braga v Setubal
Braga @ 1.54

Chaves v Benfica
Benfica @ 1.42

Good day for me, hitting almost all of my predictions!
Today i'm going for Guimaraes v Sporting Lisbon. Everyone gets a hard game when playing away vs Guimarães, but Sporting can't lose points after that big defeat vs Rio Ave. I will not risk much and use the draw no bet for a parlay.

Guimaraes v Sporting Lisbon
Draw No Bet, Sporting Lisbon @ 1.21
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 01, 2016, 04:00:57 PM
Tomorrow I will go for the RB Leipzig v Augsburg. It's hard to predict this one, since Augsburg is playing better away, and RB Leipzig is doing well at home, and they even won recently vs Dortumd. For this reason I will risk a win on them. I will also go for both teams to score, since it should be a balanced game.

RB Leipzig v Augsburg
RB Leipzig @ 1.69
Both teams to Score? Yes @ 1.91

Don't we all love when our predictions go perfectly well xD
Today I'm going for the game Leverkusen v Dortmund. I'm risking a draw no bet here for Dortmund. They look very solid to me this season, so I'm thinking they won't lose this one, but I don't wat to risk a straight win, since it's a hard game in my opinion.

Leverkusen v Dortmund
Draw No Bet, Dortmund @ 1.55
