I will follow your parlay, but since direcbet does not have that option for fognini, I will just add him as a winner tot he parlay, so my odds will be 1.66
Hope it goes well xD

Yep I missed this to. Didn't made any bets because I'm in holidays, and not using my home computer. Hope he continues doing well from when I comeback xD

Juventus & Napoli have come to an agreement over Higuain. The player is having a medical with Juventus today.

Source - Sky Italy

Are you sure this is real? Do you know the values? These things keep changing so I only believe when he officially signs xD
(almost the same thing with Pogba, now he seems to be heading for Real and not Manchester)

Milbourne Victory beat Juventus 4-3 in penalty shootout , after the 90 minutes ended on draw score 1-1 , I watched the match , Juventus didn't show any interest , although they scored firstly in 59' , but Milbourne managed to score  in the last 10 minutes .

I agree with you. Juventus didn't really tried win this game. I don't think care to much for this competition, they use it like a normal pre-season game.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 23, 2016, 11:50:08 AM
I must agree with FrueGreads, using bonus or prizes is a very good way to gamble.
I used to bet with sportsbook bonus, and used betfair to guarantee a clean profit from those bets. Right now I don't have more bonuses to clean, but I like that competition. Manage to get to prizes two times grabing 450mBTC in prizes (plus 260mBTC to use on their casino, from which I managed to keep around 200 after completing the rollover), so a total of 650mBTC in prizes in the three competitions I joined, plus my own profit from my bets.

So yep, I think this is a smart way to gamble, at least I'm happy with it xD

Like I said, we would love to offer better prizes, but right now I don't see it serving the main purposes of this competition, that is promoting the tipsters of this forum, adding value to your bets, and creating a good/safe experience for those that just start betting.

As for the 13% bonus of your bet stake, is the best way we have to reward those that risk more and make higher bets.

Related 13% bonus if we have to post ID bet on the main thread  or automatically added to the Leaderboard ?
Of 100 bets I just post some bets in the thread simply choose high stakes I was worried it was a spam campaign because there are too many to make post.

I'm pretty sure it's added automatically, I just don't know if it's added before or after the bet is settled.
As for spam, you can do what many users do. They make a post and then they edit that post to add new bets.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipster Competition (EURO PROMO) - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: July 18, 2016, 09:57:52 PM

Did you check out the competition before? Tipster Competition VI the same thing continues to decline
Moreover, it is only one reason not the main reason , can you imagine the competition without a prize?

side competition I agree   but I think not many people know it let's look at the next competition if more participants

hmm I think you are wrong about the VI Competition at least. There was an increase from V to VI, I think they actually had a record of participants on the VI, around 140 or something like that, and full prizes were paid. I think the problem on this one was because it was dedicated only to Euro and Copa America, and maybe that was not even the full problem. It started in a shorter interval from the V competition and there was a smaller time period for registration. Maybe that was the main reason, but we will see it on this one since it looks they will have more time to prepare it.

Nothing against bigger prizes of course xD
Just sharing my thoughts, about what I think it was the real "problem".

Well somehow that is what we are showing with our Hall of Fame.
Players compete in our monthly competition and they can try to climb their way to the top by accumulating ROI% and winning prizes in our competitions.

Right now bitbollo is leading that very special rank.

Well what about us as the winner of the side we do not have  ROI in the list only a few mbtc as prize
We did not have a chance to get a place ? I mean place between 1/25

I see you there. You have a special mention:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1256522.msg13024635#msg13024635

Finally, a special mention goes to the winners of the side competitions: Omikifuse (+240 mBTC), Free1bitco.in (+210 mBTC), and MonsterV (+280 mBTC).

I think that list is only for those that won top7 prizes or the entire side competition.
I think the special mention should be more visible, because winning a side competition is not easy as well.

Important Update: (Hall of Fame)

Hello everyone, we are about to create a Hall of Fame that will be displayed on the first post of this thread.
Right now we only have the winners of the VI Championship, but it will contain, as soon as u9y42 updates the post, all the winner from the previous competition, the number of wins, and the accumulated ROI% and prizes from all editions.

If you see your name there, and if you have a tipster thread, you can ask us to put the link of your thread there.
So as for now, you not only get your get prizes, but you also get free promotion to your tipster thread just for participating in our Competition!!!

I will let you know as soon as it's done, and then we can start adding your links if you want.

See us at the next competition!

Just saw it, looks nice.
Next objective trying to reach Top10 in the Hall of Fame! xD

I don't have a tipster thread yet, but I will consider creating one to add my link to the Hall of Fame.
It sure looks like a good place to promote yourself as a tipster, given that we now have a place with our public stats in the long run.
It's impossible to deny the value of that, since it's not just a self proclaimed title in a tipster thread xD

EDIT: Congrats to everyone that has their name in the Hall of fame, but a special congrats to bitbollo and Omikifuse, their stats are quite impressive.

VIII Tipster Championship update

Hello everyone, now that the VII Tipster Championship (Euro Promo) is over, it's time to prepare for the VIII Tipster Championship!
As usual we will take this week to get your feedback to see if we need to make any improvements on the next one.

So here are the dates:
- 12th to 20st July (Time to listen to your feedback and ideas)
- 21st July to  7th August (Registration period)
- 1st August at 00h UTC (Live competition)

Also I would like to listen to your feedback regarding the side competition. I really enjoyed this new format, compared to the daily challenges, but we can go back to the daily challenges format if you prefer. I think this one was more challenging, as you were free to develop any strategy you wanted and were not limited to fixed daily challenges, and the prizes are more solid, meaning most users still got a chance to win something, but as you kept progressing the accumulated prizes sure got better, compared to the daily challenges.

The registration thread and live thread will be locked as usual, and will be open on those dates.

See us on the VIII Tipster Championship!!!

Hurray!! Manage to go from the 70mBTC participation prize to 167mBTC and completing the rollover on the roulette.
Counting the days for the next competition! xD

As for feedback, I agree with Free1bitco.in things were pretty good on this one. The main competition was good as the others, and I liked the new side competition. I prefer it to the daily prizes, mostly because it's more exciting. I actually won the same bonus on the last two side competitions (60 mBTC each), but it's much better to compete against other players in this format, and having the chance to compete in a final xD

PM sent, thanks for this great competition. Is good to be back to top7 again.
Can't wait for the next one xD

Bet for today: France vs Portugal over 1.5 goals. Odds are 1.55x

Event lin k. https://sportsbet.io/sports/live/event/8693594

Betslip :

Definitely very likely to happen. I also think both teams will end up scoring but went with over 1.5 on this one.

This game went different way. As Ronaldo got injuired and France was not able to strike any goal it went 0-0.
I was able to bet on Portugal to win in extended time for nice odds and won, but this is different story.

I think this was a hard one to predict. A defensive approach was expected by Portugal, but of course that if any of the teams scored on goal, then things would change since it was a final. I lost a lot of over 1.5 bets because of games like this, and I usually place a correct score 0-0 bet, before the game just to get even if things go wrong.
Didn't went for the goal market on this one though, just made a bet on Portugal to win Euro @2.74 that made my day! xD
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportstips - Basketball/tennis/soccer 🔥 Wins 93 - Loss 10 🔥 on: July 07, 2016, 09:07:56 AM
I followed both picks, but made a larger bet on just the first one.
Let's get back on winning again! xD

Congrats to bitbollo (1) he took some risks and it went well for him.
Hope I can keep at least second place or I will hate Argentina for ever xD
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipster Competition (EURO PROMO) - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: July 06, 2016, 08:41:34 AM

With 1% bets he can get 1.33% ROI bet without loss. He would have to do slightly better than that in 10 bets. Not impossible task, but not easy, because there are only 3 games remaining

If he just keeps doing fill in bets @1.01 he can't just bet 1%, he needs to bet 5%, that is the same as 10% of his initial bankroll, to win around 1.4% on each bet (because of the 13% bonus).

So he is risking 10% to a 1.4% bankroll increase. If he loses one bet he is out, unless he makes "normal" bets of course.
It shouldn't be that hard to win 7 bets @1.01, so he will be the winner for sure.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportstips - Basketball/tennis/soccer 🔥 Wins 93 - Loss 10 🔥 on: July 05, 2016, 07:56:42 PM
I have taken up Murray and Federer along with other picks as well. Do you have any MLB picks for later or do you limit yourself into just basketball, tennis and soccer? Btw, Fnatic was a bummer. Nobody thought they would lose. Lost a good $25 on CSGL because of them.

hmm he just posted one for MLB. The one with Murray was to boost the MLB game San Francisco vs Colorado, with San Francisco to win.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportstips - Basketball/tennis/soccer 🔥 Wins 93 - Loss 10 🔥 on: July 05, 2016, 07:52:00 PM
My parlay with Federer was with him and Berdych. I wanted to add Raonic to, but since Querrey beat Djokovic I don't know if it's safe.
I don't know anything about baseball but Murray sure is a good bet to boost the baseball game a little, and since you normally give good tips, I followed it anyway.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportstips - Basketball/tennis/soccer 🔥 Wins 93 - Loss 10 🔥 on: July 05, 2016, 07:41:26 PM
I already made a parlay with Federer, so I will follow that one with Murray as well.
Thanks for the tip. I got it @1.5, decent odds
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportstips - Basketball/tennis/soccer 🔥 Wins 93 - Loss 10 🔥 on: July 05, 2016, 04:23:51 PM
I agree with that. I don't waste time and money on gambling on other games, but betting on sports has definitely helped me make a good bankroll over time. Its probably the best way to gamble including poker if you are good at it. I know of a couple people who regularly make bets with parlays over 10x, and hit a lot of times and are in huge profits.

Completely agree with you. Now I only hit casino games with bonus money, otherwise I will stay with poker and sports betting.
You tips are really helping a lot, thanks for sharing them. I remember you were considering opening a service for premium tips, or an investment, if you are still into that, and your tips will be even better than they are now, I think I would go for it.
