Buy on rumor, sell on news....right? Depends on what the news is....right? Can someone give me some cliffnotes? Any idea as to what might revealed?

Made a withdraw for a masternode but has not shown up in the wallet can see on the blockchain any ideas when it would show up?
Would it need 251 confirms to show in wallet?
It should show in the wallet as soon as the transaction is broadcast to the network. You will need 16 confirms to run your masternode.

So how many 88 bloks was mined ?
blocks 1289 - 1888 → 88 coins (HiPoS Blocks) Do the math!! Hhaaha ok thanks I thought hiPos bloks from blok 11500 but now I see dev mean 1.2 per blok Yeah, 1.2 total in each PoS block .88 goes to masternodes, the rest goes to stakers.

I want to set up a MasterNode. I have got an AWS account. Is there a step by step tutorial?
I wrote a guide for setting up multiple masternodes a couple of pages back, with pictures. Make sure that you open the appropriate TCP ports under security settings when you configure the instance. Also, make sure you open the ports under Window's firewall in the AWS instance. If you have any specific questions or run into any problems, feel free to ask.

My problem is I tried several times to do port forwarding on the router but it is not working and I still have masternode connection problem. So I am staking now but every time 0.3 8bits reward and several hours for confirmation.
Open a free tier microinstance with windows server 2012 on amazon aws. You can run your masternode easily here. Thanks for the tip. Finally I opened the port but I am still getting same error. The thing is right now my spendable balance is below 112 and majority of my coins are in stake to be confirmed. Is it possible that could be the reason now? Set staking =0 in your wallet. Wait until the coins are spendable, and then try to run the masternode again.

This is a nice one for sure I need to setup my dev donation address. Follow through with item 5 on the roadmap and I'm sure the donations will be flowing. Also, maybe reveal more information about item 6 Post screenshots of the 8-bit game...etc. No offense, but right now the community isn't seeing anything here that isn't already going on somewhere else. Let's see what you have in store. (In other words, you have left the price of the coin purely in the hands of speculators)

I'm showing 105 masternodes up and running.
At what point will you be implementing darksend functions dev?

You will always think I need to prove myself to you, and to me that's the least of my concerns. But if one day you do want to shake my hand, then that's fine with me.
Cheers
Nope, I don't want you to prove anything to me. I just shared my opinion about your coin and that's it. What you have to prove is that you are going to work on your project and nothing more. I don't want to talk about some "Crypto Gods" and who knows what. That doesn't matter or concern anybody here. Everyone has his own opinion and can think/act as he like. P.S. I would shake hand to anybody who is honest and transparent. Take care. Cheers, Spartak Can you guys get a room? We are not arguing just pumping the thread I think we reached an agreement now. LOL I was just joking. Get a room is an expression that can be directed towards two or more people who are displaying public affection

I guess with earning almost 10 coins for each masternode (112 8bit), a gradual decline in price of 8bit is inevitable.
it's possible due to very low quantity of MN's The more MN's the less reward
Bittrex volume in the last 24 hours is down due to the BT scam. It takes time for the market to recover, as lots of people lost considerable amounts of BTC. We should have more nodes up by now but I guess that will give early node adapters a little advantage which they deserve. I think volume suffered and some people lost confidence but that's not our fault, we just deal with it for now. We are in a different league, people will start looking for other projects to try and recover from the loss, and we are at a good entry point right now. We should push as a community to gain from this sad episode.
Some people posted game over for us, but it was game over for them. No problem they can always deposit another coin into 8BIT and click " Continue "
Game on.
Respect. I knew you guys were different from the beginning. It's clear that 8bit is a legitimate project in a sea of shitcoins right now. Unfortunately, some people did bail out to jump on the next P&D train and probably even labeled 8bit as just another scamcoin. They will be back, and you couldn't be more correct about how ripe this market is for entry. Keep up the good work.

Did anyone ever figure out if there was a way to stake masternode earnings without affecting the performance/functionality of the node?
|
|

I'm averaging around 10 8bit per masternode per day right now.
How about you guys?

Just received my first 0.88
massive accumulation going on, be careful guys.
Received 5 payments on 8 nodes... They confirmed like 15 times and then orphaned.

I had 2 payments for my 3 MN's. But what guess what, both of them orphaned or whatever... Status: conflicted Date: 27.4.2015 02:10 Source: Generated Credit: 0.88 8BIT Net amount: 0.00 8BIT Transaction ID: 9dc3ddb91b3323fcd635c29613abfe552ea73c3f90e4781f8864a1f9efb38124-000
Generated coins must mature 251 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.
Please confirm if you are getting these aswell. I see some old wallets still staking. working on adding a block on the hardcoded node. Thank you. Hopefully this resolves the problem.

Please confirm if you are getting these aswell. The wierd thing is, in block explorer it seems like I got the payment right, even my balance is higher. http://8bit.website:1888/address/8R8tv1CfPaHdzTSLy9kbpTQbrS3z7Z44b3Ok I am getting really confused. Second one just happened. It shows ok on block explorer but it doesn't work on wallet. Back to back 3. I've only gotten orphans on my masternodes since block 11,500. Hmm...
