In all seriousness though I feel like 112 8Bit is too low for a masternode. If the price gets to 0.01 BTC per 8BIT then 112 shares is just over 1 BTC. That's nothing in comparison with other coins. Even at 0.02 BTC that still just over 2 BTCs to own one. I think it might be worth exploring a number closer to 150 or 200 8Bit to own one. Am I out of line or does everyone else agree?
Low coin requirement for masternodes is a good thing. It will help with distribution and build the community. The developer has big plans for the coin; he will need a strong, distributed masternode network. That's true I just don't want someone showing up at the last minute, buying a dozen masternodes, and then dumping all of the profit every chance he can. It would force the price down and inflation is good in a currency. Dumping masternode profits will be good for distribution too  I'm planning on setting up 20 of them. I will use my profits to set up additional nodes. Plus, 112 is a multiple of 8. Numerology seems pretty important to the dev. 8 is a very lucky number in chinese culture. Maybe that's a sign. If 8 is a lucky number translate this to a chinese ann I can't... I just know because I have several Chinese friends. That is a good idea though. |

The richest guy moved his coin from Trex.
what is the balance? Yesterday it was 4829.85. Today after a price drop off from14k to 12k it was 3695.99. During past hour it was disappeared. Now the richest guy is holding 3126.81. He has been number 2 since yesterday. Someone has been buying a shit ton of 8bit and pulling it off the exchange... Look at the top 100 balances on the block explorer. The top address grew by 3,000 today. (This is called accumulation btw  )  Oh, and check this out. Who here wants to 10x their money? Get your masternodes, and sit back. |

This Masternode system will only work if there are transactions after the PoW phase.. which there probably won't be. There will just be people who mined converting to BTC (because right now mining SLING is like 50% more profitable than mining BTC directly)..
Anyway. If there are no transaction fees because people aren't conducting economic activity in SLING, well then these nodes will be worthlesssssssss

I can't wait until people realize that this is actually a legitimate project in a sea of shitcoins.  So much room for growth!!! I don't see any other coin out with this kind of potential. agreed the video game industry is huge it shall be a success I'm telling you, the game is a distraction (maybe to keep the project under the radar) Yes, it's cool, but item #6 on the roadmap will be the bread and butter of 8bit. |

Wait for it , it will go all down to 100K maybe , maybe then buy . That's what i'm wondering. This kinda "hype" typically falls within the first 12 hours and we are right back down again. Game servers will be hosted on Masternodes that choose to host the game.
All in game purchases will go towards participating nodes depending on
CPU speed/ space allocated / bandwidth used.
The game will be a standalone release, but can be integrated into wallets as well.
