At 1028 8bit per masternode, the cost of entry is still incredibly cheap at this stage, and the rewards will be greater for masternode holders. 112 8bit per masternode was a disaster. It doesn't take any level of commitment to run a masternode and the payouts were insane. Rapid inflation led to a rapid decline in price. This is EXCELLENT news for 8bit. Everyone wins, as the value of the coin will surely increase. |

Update:
- new stealth wallet release in 5 to 7 hours
- on the next wallet release with torrents, node price will change to 1028 8BIT
- Nodes that will host torrents (optional) will get a fee for the service it's not free.
- MMO game will be free open source, but nodes hosting game servers (optional)will charge a fee.
- nodes that do not choose to host torrents or servers will only get reward from POS.
Good call dev. Don't complain guys... would you rather have a ton of masternodes worth nothing? I'm very excited about this news! 112 coins for masternode is too low like for me i need to create 40 masternodes just to keep up with inflation ain't no body got time for that!  112 coins is a great number for masternodes... If our masternode network is 400 - 600 strong.... imagine the possibilities! i don't have time to make 40 masternodes lol Exactly! The developer is trying to create a strong, decentralized masternode network. |

Welcome to the community! Good luck setting up your nodes. Ask away if you need help. People just keep dumping node stakes. I don't think so. Most of the people running large numbers of masternodes aren't selling. And even if people were selling their stakes, it's good for distribution and doesn't create too much sell pressure. Going down 10k sats per day since last week, what do you mean "doesn't create too much sell pressure". I can see if we were going up and down alot, that's a healthy market, but straight down with no buy pressure doesn't work either. You are speaking to a veteran trader man...I'm calling this one done for a while. I could be wrong, we shall see. I agree that the rate of inflation is a little much. And it's difficult to have any buy pressure when there is no reason to buy (yet). I'm all for the price plummeting. If the dev actually delivers, it will just increase my return on investment. But I don't think masternode holders are the ones destroying the price. |

So there is a proposal by one of the new guys, basically, he wants us to release 230K fro the 6 mill fund. This will be placed in a faucet that will give out 23 BCR. This will be a means to reach out to new users alongside a massive marketing campaign.
Thoughts?

A little more communication from the dev would be nice though.
Communication is key, however I believe "WE" as a community need to communicate directly with each other. There are a few of us on this board that are willing to invest our time and skills to help push this coin to the next stages and I believe these individuals need to work together as a team and directly with the Dev. After a few brainstorming sessions and some leadership we could really push this coin to greatness. What do you say Dev? Let's schedule a time this community can have a open conversation about the direction of the coin and what "US" as a community can do to contribute. Perhaps some kind of group call. Nice coin, love 8Bit! Haven't sold 8bit, only build up masternodes with them (14 running now) Lost 224 coins because of 2 corrupt wallet.dat files (...it was my fault, both killed in about 2 min after making them and my backup program wasn't fast enough... -> ok thats life) One thing, if you setup maternodes and have the problem that it's not working (and you did port-forwarding and setup correct) the problem is your router!!!!!! I changed from ISP to an older netgear and everything was working fine. Dev, thanks for your hard work! I think it's not necessary that you deliver as fast as possible -> much more important is a "safe working coin" so take all the time you need to do this! I like the understatement style you work, this will get huge in the long run. Community, do you realy want a PR-Manager soon? Think about it, now you can buy cheap coins for the long run  A PR manager would aid in community development. A stronger community means more donations for the developer and more contributions to the project overall. I think it's an absolute must. There needs to be some level of organization here. |

Looks like the price held pretty steadily at .0007 last night. That's a good sign.
I don't know why everyone is so worried. The price has been doing fine the last few days. The dev is working hard and putting out updates faster than any other coin I have ever seen. I don't think anyone is worried...I'm not. A little more communication from the dev would be nice though. |

We need a better easier implementation of the masternodes. I don't know why I cannot easily just setup a masternode . I have everything in place for that, but yet it doesn't work and I cannot make it work. lets get what is actually enabled in this coin to work properly with little effort. for you people that will say I don't know what im doing etc.. instead just give me some examples how you overcame my obstacles instead. If im the only one other than dbs that has had this problem.. then I'd say out of the 200 odd users this coin has a long way to go for adoption.
Nowhere near 200 users. Just 200 masternodes! I wonder what happened to the masternode contest? Care to comment MasterTrader? I did my part, set it up, got the graphics done, put up donate address's....and guess what? Nobody touched them. What am I supposed to do, pay for the prizes myself? Fat chance...I have my own expenses with ToshiDesk and MTR. Not going to promote something the community doesn't support. It's that simple. So now I'm getting antsy, and feeling like I wasted my time here on this, have this ugly bag...and a bit sour about it. No hard feelings man. I was just wondering.
