I just can't wait for the day when this thread is booming, and we are all stoked on DCR.  It's like a group therapy session atm  

There really is no structure to trade from at this point lol.  I agree though, focus on the fundamentals.  I finally moved all of my DCR from exchange to buy stake tickets.  I'm not going to trade this.  I'm just going to let it become the monster it truly is.

Remember, eth was in a 6 month downtrend before it took off.  We are 9 months in!  It's depressing to watch the state of things, but I still feel strongly about the potential DCR has.

It's always worth buying DCR.  I picked up some more at these levels... and at .0022, .0023, .0025.

Fundamentally, there really is nothing that compares to Decred and what it is trying to achieve.  

One day.. sooner than you think... DCR will be a massive DAO.  The community can push this project in whatever direction it needs to go to be successful, and the funding will always be present.

Put the pieces together.  To build a mansion, you need a damn good foundation.

Make sure to check out the Decred forums and the roadmap I posted a few posts back.  

Imagine how much interest / development will pick up once we enter a bull market...

Dave Collins did a complete rewrite of the database layer in btcd throughout 2015 and committed it in August 2015, which is relevant to Decred because the database layer of dcrd is inherited from btcd. The new database is a substantial improvement over the previous version performance-wise, both for intial block download and RPCs, and improves how blockchain consensus rules are organized. As such, this is obviously something Decred wants from a performance and code improvement perspective, but it is also a prerequisite for syncing new code from btcd.

This database upgrade is an enormous change set, at +22,685 / -9,155 lines of code, and touches consensus rules, so extra care must be taken with this upgrade. "

0.5.0 sounds like a significant upgrade.

+1, I'm in this for the long haul. We all know $4mm cap is a total joke for a coin like DCR. Would love to average down more.  Bring it on.

You guys are just making assumptions that miners are dumping the DCR they receive from the dual miner.  As someone else stated, it increases the amount of electricity used by your gpus to mine both eth and dcr at the same time. 

It's not like it's "free DCR".  Most serious miners are very conscious about their power draw. 

This is simply a bear trap.  If you read the forums, the tentative deadline for the new database integration is Sept. 25 (I believe).  This new database structure will bring several new capabilities to the DCR blockchain.

Not the best time to sell, unless you like selling bottom (for a loss). Happy trading

That would be illogical... it's free exposure for the DCR project and aids in distribution.  You're assuming that everyone using the miner is dumping every DCR they mine.  I'm sure the miner has brought new faces to the project.
