how exactly does the ping pong strategy work? if a stop-loss is triggered, will it let go of the coin completely until i set it up again?

Yes. It's an emergency out and that's it for now.

More advanced features will appear in future releases.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I'm really enjoying trading on poloniex again and using leonArdo's new indicators  Wink

Dont tease like that.... when do you expect it to be available?
Btw do I see hints of the new BB bot?

Don't tease like what? That is the release version with leonArdo's new indicators!

I could tease. We are working on the Bollinger band bot and the visualisation in leonArdo when setting up the bot is awesome Smiley

I've been fiddling with this for a few days, and maybe I missed some things.

Is there a way to see an aggregate of your trades? In running the demo, I've been trying to determine some strategies for when I pull the trigger and go live, but for the life of me I cannot tell which ones are paying off

I do wish there was more extensive documentation somewhere as I know I am not fully catching on to some of its capabilities.

https://imgur.com/a/dDwQY

You can view all your successful trades through the bot.  On the bottom left, you have 3 options to view.  Those are, "Show active orders", "Show completed trades", and finally "Show logs".  Click on the middle option, "Show completed trades".  You can refer to the image above.  I've highlighted it there in red.

As for seeing your profits.  The bot doesn't show that(maybe something to add in the future??? Tongue ).  But you should be able to get a rough estimate if you already knew the amount of funds you started with.

I did go through that. It's a bit of a pain to have to have to add it all up - It really should be something that the program could track. I've taken to adding up the values in the wallet. Close, but if you have orders in the pipeline, it doesn't tell you the full story. Even if it's just a simply current value of portfolio in BTC and/or USD, along with a % change from X date.

Definitely on the way in an upcoming version. We want it too!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Problem sort of solved itself after a couple of hours, so i guess it had something to do with bittrex API.

Yes, that's an issue with the bittrex API not responding correctly more than likely due to a high load.

People who use POLONIEX:

How is your experience with the latest version of leonArdo during these times of high load? Do you experience fast responsiveness from the interface, especially when placing/changing/removing orders? I'm considering changing from Bittrex to Poloniex, but since that requires me purchasing a new exchange license, I'd do it only when 100% sure it will perform better than Bittrex.

Thanks!

Placing, changing and removing orders takes a few seconds, up to 15 seconds when the market goes very fast. I might not complaint about that due to the automatic nature of the api call. What is really lagging on poloniex is the rate of depth update. On the poloniex website, orders and depth change as fast as 1 second. This does not reflect on the bot. Again, it might be attributed to the api.

Hi,

on what OS are you running leonArdo and which Exchange are you trading on?
Also how many pairs do you have open?

All the best,

You guessed correctly Smiley We would also like you update the information as fast as possible, but we are limited on the API calls.
The current market/graph in focus is updating faster that the others btw.

Thanks for your support and all the best,

  Rene

We are not allowed to give any detailed trading advice. But there are many tutorials out in the internet.
A quick google/youtube search should give you access to some tutorials.

All the best,

Can I configure leandro so that he can buy if X currency has a dollar drop predefined by me or in percent?

Another question, when it has been in operation for less than 24 hours, it collapses. Runtime error and I have to reset it.

You can use the static ping pong bot to set a fixed price at which to buy at.

As for the crashes you are experiencing. Can you send a mail to support@marginsoftware.se with the following details:

OS
Number of pairs/bots
Any other information you think might be helpful

Thanks!
Jonathan

I'm sorry, I have not explained myself well. I want that the bot buy if the price difference with respect to X minutes is Y.

With the current bots that's not possible right now.

Although the bot sells on high and buys on low, it always buys the exact same amount of coins it sold, even when it can buy much more, making me no profit. I always have to cancel the buy order and manually increase the quantity of coins to be purchased. Why is this happening?

That is how the bot works ,you set your order size, and it trades it.
with the check box to "allow the bot to increase amount" can have some effect. but pretty sure the units traded remain the same just there value changes.

I can confirm that the bot does not increase the amount. Not sure if a bug or something else, but never seen it trade more than what was set. Can someone else verify this because it's happening to me, too.
