561  Other / Meta / Re: Does deleting our own posts harms our acccount ? on: October 08, 2023, 04:59:09 PM
Anyhow I want to know that if we delete our posts ourselves, does it have a bad effect on our account and can we still get tagged or something or it is completely normal ?

Deleting some old posts likely won't get you tagged. But if you erase a ton of stuff you posted, people might wonder why and the internet never forgets. Things you put out there are hard to take back completely.  Here on this forum, we have at least two archives keeping copies of posts even if you delete them from your profile. So once you hit publish, you cannot really hide it after that.
562  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources use feelings when giving out Merit? on: October 07, 2023, 09:13:19 PM
Merit-sources are supposed to look at the quality of a post, not who wrote it.  The whole point of merit is to reward good post that helps the community, even if it comes from someone you do not like.  but let us be real, we all have our preferences and can be hard to be totally fair and unbiased.
I mean there arent any hard rules here. Some merit-sources try harder than others to stay objective.  The important thing is using merit to recognize people who are making this place better, not just your buddies.  Easier said than done though.  We are only human.  Wink

You cannot give any reason why I am wrong. You are just a shithead who hates science. Well, this is what Bitcoin attracts. Bitcoin attracts shitheads.

Speaking of shitheads, take a look at this guy:

~
This is really rich coming from a chlurmcklet like yourself who has come on this thread accusing me of a lot of shit. And this thread is not about me. It is about morons like you. You are a fucking piece of shit. Go poop on yourself. I call people on this site stupid because they are fucking stupid. If you don't like how I call the people here stupid, you should work on trying to be a little bit less stupid. Defending the morons on this site is stupid. You are only defending them because you are a hateful worthless piece of shit. FUCK YOU. MAY GOD DAMN YOUR MISERABLE SOUL!!!

NEARLY EVERYTHING THAT EVERYONE SAYS HERE IS FUCKING HEINOUS, AND YOU HAVE THE FUCKING NERVE TO BLAME IT ON ME. YOU ARE A FUCKING DISGRACE. WHEN YOU GO TO HELL, YOU WILL REVERT BACK INTO AN INFANT AND BE TORMENTED FOR ALL ETERNITY IN YOUR INFANTILE STATE!!!

565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery with a twist on: October 06, 2023, 09:17:52 PM
The concept of the rug pull does not apply here, because there is no liquidity pool, coin pair.
It's a contract, that is deployed. The contract handles the deposits, the rounds, and the payouts. Everything by code. It's immutable, so it can not be changed. Actually if it would become successful, new copy's would appear so fast, because it's open source, so everyone can just launch their own in the matter of seconds.

Smart contracts, like any other form of code, can be vulnerable to exploits, and even well-audited contracts have faced challenges in the past. The concept of a "rug pull" may not directly apply in this case, but vulnerabilities can still exist within the contract itself.

Regarding your idea, I do not think the concept of lottery-style games is particularly popular in the crypto world. In fact, not sure if it is even popular among younger generations in the real world. The appeal of such games likely depends on demographics; generally, younger demographics tend to lean towards high-paced games with a significant adrenaline rush involved. That said, there could still be niches or unique features that could make your idea stand out and appeal to a specific group within the crypto community.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many BTC does the Forum's Administrators Have? on: October 06, 2023, 08:52:25 PM
I understand that some members have no reason to hide their Bitcoin holdings, but I see no reason to make it public either. For example, I have nothing to hide, but I still want to exercise my right to privacy. No one needs to know how many Bitcoins I have in my possession, just as no one needs to know how much money I have in the bank or in a private safe.

As for the mods and admins, I believe most of them are very well aware of how to keep their Bitcoin holdings safe, and I doubt they have made their cold store addresses public.
567  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin social communication on: October 06, 2023, 08:21:44 PM
Stalker22-It sounds like you are in denial about how miserable Bitcoiners really are. The only thing that Bitcoiners are passionate about is their hatred of science and intelligence. Bitcoiners love and worship their own stupidity.

@jvanname, I understand that you have a strong viewpoint on Bitcoiners, but I think it is important to acknowledge that people's perspectives and attitudes can vary widely within any group. While there may be individuals who hold strong opinions, it is not fair to generalize and label all Bitcoin enthusiasts in the same way.

Maybe I am in denial, but the impression I have formed from interacting with people here does not align with your perspective. Have you considered the possibility that the issue might not be with people at all? If you continue to use derogatory language like "stupid" and "worthless" when referring to individuals or groups, it is likely to create a hostile and unproductive atmosphere for discussion. While I may not agree with everyone's perspectives, I believe in the value of open and respectful dialogue to better understand each other and potentially find common ground. But that is just me.
568  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin social communication on: October 05, 2023, 10:01:41 PM
Stalker22-It looks like you can display decent social communication skills if you really tried to do so.

Thank you.

Have you ever communicated with a Bitcoiner? If you have done so, then you would know that they are some of the most insufferable chlurmcklets imaginable (just like middle schoolers; middle schoolers need to be locked up because they are violent and evil sickos).

Absolutely, I have had the opportunity to communicate with quite a few Bitcoin enthusiasts. However, I usually don't categorize people in such a way. Who are Bitcoiners really? Drawing such conclusions from a few sentences exchanged online, like here, seems unjust and unwise. People have diverse opinions, and it is true that some can be rather passionate about their views. I get that vibe a lot. But aren't we all guilty of similar behavior? In fact, if we take a step back and reflect, we may find that we all, at times, display passionate or strong-willed behavior about topics we deeply care about. Would you not agree?
569  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin social communication on: October 05, 2023, 09:12:44 PM
Stalker22-"Seriously, Dr. Van Name, what is wrong with you?"-You are displaying some of the most horrendous social communication skills imaginable.

"Why so grumpy?"-You continue to display the social skills of a middle schooler (middle schoolers should be locked up).

"Who or what caused you such pain?"-Why the @#$k should I tell you (if anyone)? I do not trust you with anything, so I will not tell you this. Please learn some social communication skills so that you know how to communicate with others without coming across as an insufferable asshole.

I am sorry if my previous messages came across in a way that upset you. That was not my intention at all. My intention is to provide assistance and engage in friendly conversations, and I want to assure you that I will make every effort to engage respectfully in our future discussions.

Now, let us refocus on addressing your concern. I couldn't help but notice that the way you have been communicating suggests there might be some stress or tension on your end. If you are comfortable sharing, I am here to listen and offer support. I genuinely care about helping you.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: next bitcoin? on: October 05, 2023, 08:47:26 PM
I learned about Bitcoin, but it's too late.

That is your opinion, but you cannot know that. No one knows what the future holds.

But as history tells us, bitcoin killer will emerge one day.

That is wrong. History tells us that many have tried but none have succeeded.

I hope this post becomes a legend.

I doubt that.

but on the internet there is no such a thing as trust, only idiots trust random anonymous individuals.

That is debatable. Yes, trust can be a bit tricky on the internet, but it is not entirely nonexistent. You may not know someone personally, but you can still trust some individuals or websites based on their reputation. For example, when you shop on a well-known and reputable online store, you trust that they will deliver your order as expected. Similarly, you trust your online bank that they have a secure website and provide encryption for your data, and that they will keep your data safe. Also, when you read reviews or recommendations from people on social media or review sites, you are placing some trust in their opinions to make informed decisions, even though they are just some "random anonymous individuals". So, yeah! Trust is still very much a part of the online world.
573  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 06:49:28 PM
Yeah! Mindless automatons.
Automation? How. I think this is one of the worse manual labor.

Not automation. I meant automatons - those mechanical beings (low-budget robots) designed to carry out tasks in a repetitive manner, like clockwork! They hardly ever bother with evaluations or handpick projects to support. They just keep on doing the same tasks in these bounty campaigns, hoping that at least a few of them will eventually pay off.
574  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 04:15:02 PM
Maybe someone can do some experience like, get some random image, marge them together and post on the bounty (altcoin) section. You will definitely see some of those proof of participation or something with their wallet details LOL
That's something I would like to see: some nice bullshit image, standard text with applications forms etc and then at the bottom of the post "This is fake bounty campaign, do not enter" written in big red letters. I can assure you that dozens (if not hundreds) of lemmings would apply anyway. Cheesy

Yeah! Mindless automatons.

I have a feeling that majority of these bounty hunters operate with law of large numbers in their mind, hoping that if they apply to every possible bounty campaign, few of them have to bring them some profit and that's why they usuauly don't mind about escrowed funds, does altcoin project they promote makes any sense etc. And its be realistic, its not like they put any real effort into this (at least not those that do social media part of bounty campaign).

That is true. But I have a feeling that the majority of projects that organize these bounty campaigns are actually banking on that law of large numbers mentality. They do not care about quality; they only go after quantity. They do not care about low-effort tasks because they are throwing away a bunch of worthless tokens anyway. So, it is a bit of a numbers game for both sides.
575  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Harizen users spreading viruses? on: October 04, 2023, 10:19:43 PM

Therefore, I highly expect that whoever posted the RadiumX ANN topic, which contains a Trojan, is not the original owner of the account, perhaps another superficial scammer who knows nothing about the forum.

It is good that the topic has been deleted now, and I hope the account will be locked ASAP because it will harm many people who may trust what will be published through Harizen's account.

Yes. It has already been confirmed that his account has been blocked and harizenbanappeal has already started a ban appeal thread in the Meta board. He claims that he did not post the ANN topic with the malware link and that his account was probably hacked.
576  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quick outcome of 100 plinko bet in one second on: October 04, 2023, 09:39:52 PM
~

Most online casino games are all about having fun and giving you that real casino vibe, even when you are playing online. Take online roulette, for exmple. There is no actual wheel or ball in the digital roulette and there is no "physics" that will determine the outcome. Instead, it is all about fancy computer programming like random number generators and provably fair algorithms. Those cool animations you see with the wheel and ball spinning are just for the show; they do not change a thing about the final outcome. The same goes for plinko and other games.

578  Economy / Reputation / Re: BD Crypto violates forum rules and should be banned. on: October 04, 2023, 07:55:00 PM
I used that address for only once because it was not a big payment for me and it was not sure to be selected too. So for a little payment I used that wallet address but if it was a decent amount of signature campaign payment and for several weeks then I may choose my personal wallet to keep safe of my funds. But I have done a big mistake that I used address from another user who was trusted to me to minimize transection fees for a little payment. That's why I am really very Sorry and hope you all will allow me to grow again freshly. You can see my previous posts to know about my effort to grow my account. And I don't wast to bear negetive trusts because of this misunderstanding. Hope you will realize my situation.

You said: "Same things is happened with alik111 he was also from the same community group and I was used to sell Bitcoin or other tokens in address as I can remember." So I ask you again: Is there any concrete evidence to support this claim? As I previously mentioned, the blockchain records do not seem to reflect any such transactions. There are no transactions that point to your involvement in coin trading with alik111 or to that specific address.
579  Economy / Reputation / Re: BD Crypto violates forum rules and should be banned. on: October 04, 2023, 04:14:58 PM

That time to minimize Bitcoin transection fees I told him to send his Bitcoin address so that he can pay me in our local currency when I get paid and I don't need to pay another transection fees because it was little bit higher.

But that is not really true, is it? You used the specified address only once on the forum to apply for signature campaign (8 months after alik111). You never actually sent any funds to that address, so it cannot be the address that alik111 used to buy the coins from you.

Like I said, I am still waiting for any tangible evidence to convince me to remove the negative tag.

Satoshi has been gone for more than 2 decades now, ~

Maybe you would like to fix that?

No. Satoshi has not been gone for more than two decades. At least not yet. Bitcoin did not even exist two decades ago.
