This may get deleted but it's not off topic i live in Maryland at present were i live i get the best rates any place around me for the next year I'm at 0.0855 anytime of day or nite no mater how much i use it's what BG and E gets a way wirth and does that kills it all with there lame fees . not saying that's the best rates in Maryland it's not, Ive scene some places here it's as low as 5 to 6 cents but were I live in this part of Maryland because i have to deal with BG and E, I'm screwed , you will find that most plans other then business plan that are low or 4 cents and lower are based in Washington state, i even went on line one time looked at the nations power rates by state you can  . and only one other state then was lower then Washington state that was Ohio at that time. |

Hi, i had 5 of the compacs running, then switched a few around for better airflow, and 1 of the 5 wont start to hash - (it was previously) The green light is on, nut no blinking. I've had the same problem with a stick not mining when I'm changing voltage. I find that turning the adjustment screw back to default works, sometimes it takes a few attempts and use no higher than 300 with good cooling / 150 without. EDIT: Several times I've thought I'd killed a stick only for it to come back to life after a small screw / voltage adjustment . i guess sense i haven't done anything other then change the freg like 200 to 250 etc never touched the reset or back panel, so i guess that's why i don't think of it, i know i can, but i never use it , so it never comes to mind. |

lol ...yea, it looks like the BUYAHASH company just re-branded it and gave bad specs? so first they say: Super 10 separate USB ports, support 10 devices simultaneously, supports 500TB large capacity hard disk; can support 10 phones ,While charging (available for ipad / iphone charging). Each USB port provides charging current 500mA then in the QnA they say: 3, use the product that can recharge the device or IPHONE? Answer: (1) the product each port to provide 5 v, current 750 ma, in your time limitation of the charging request is not high, can charge, because of the device, the IPHONE must to charge when activate the USB protocol, so the charge must be connected to computer at the same time, and charging current is limited to 500 ma. so what is the real deal? lol nice that sound some tihng like what this does which i use . http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817707235 i have a few other hubs laying around that turned out to be junk and even has good reviews . i still cant get that 1 sad guy to hash. also in minera am starting to see more entries like: COMPAC11 COMPAC12 COMPAC13 COMPAC14 COMPAC15 It seems to be reproducing them, looks like this:  any idea on that? reboot the PI from time to time minera does that i found, if i reboot the pi it loads in right, if you didn't if that doesn't work turn off everything then turn on the pi and go from there . ON my Gblack one time i think i saw it load in 30 blades so i did reboot and it loaded up the 10 i have in the right order etc . i think i even saw it once load in 6 compac when i run in miera one time til i rebooted then it showed one . |

unplug it and plug it back in i my stick stops some times even if i use CG I just unplug it then plug it back with BFG run in and it picks right up you didn't try that yet but it worked for me . i only really wanted one stick or id Polly have more I'm waiting more for the pods and the bigger miners to comes or hope to come from GekkoScience later down the road . There miners seem to run better then any i have used in the two years Ive been mining. I'm not just saying that they do .i don't kiss but so to speak i do get in a lot of trouble form time to time because i don't care what i say . yea ive tried unplugging and plugging back in a few times, just wonder if it got messed up somehow, even though it has a sold green light on it? what i had to do when that happened to me on my windows machine i had to go into device manager and uninstall and delete the drivers for the compac's then refresh and let windows find the drivers for a Silicon labs cp210x usb to uart bridge (com) then if they dont work do the zadiag usb driver change and that worked I use PI's, but yea I guess you would have to on a Windows box .I guess that's the nice thing about PI's you never really have to deal with driver ever just other issue like updates won't update due to bad paths form the last up date etc . PI use way less power , i have yet to try to run Windows IoT on PI i don't see a reason to . |

if you don't know how export a BFG.config in BFG its the same as CG hit your S key in BFG while it running then i think it says W to write in the list if that helps any and name whatever and don't for get were you saved it unlike minera were you hit save In UI it asks were to put it on your PC at bottom of one of the setting .

I don't know exactly how to explain but understand how it works but the last number over like in minera is what you are doing pool side per stick that's pretty sweet actually 16 + GH per stick pool side. The other two speeds do a lot but the main thing is some thing like what side just said CG does . |

I don't know about BFG, but cgminer-gekko has a fairly granular lookup table (the first-post list is copied directly) and does a greater-than lookup to pick the highest available frequency not exceeding the input value.
same with BFG they all do about the same maybe in different ways at different times but it's all about the same . the only really big difference between the two is the falling out the Developers, had with each other .  sadly . but i won't being that up any more, but that's what happen. |

if you want me to . i can update there firm ware on my pi's then post it some place the only thing i really haven't learn to do is how to save a image of that image off PI's . once it been updated etc . i need some place free to post one or two images. but it won't have fixes or any thing else in it , just work enough to use on a PI b + or PI 2.
