Hey , I love minera over them all well if you look around there is no better one to be had that does what minera does or will do as time goes on .

i have been meaning to ask thu why minera all ways show the wrong % for hard ware error if you need screen shots will supply but it's all way been that way the rest of minera seems on track .,..

example what i mean minera shows the right Hardware error but if like at the command line for bfg or cg the % is different

minera shows 5.39% for 74 while CG shows 74 (0.003%)

same with BFG but i just rebooted BFG so right now it will be off a lot . seems my Alchemist miner from time to time needs a reboot i don't think that's minera at all ... i only have five out of eight boards online right now due to i need to have another 240 line installed if i want to use it at full speed and the rest of my very small farm to gather  on 240 power ( i don't like the idea of a lot of miners running over 110). it is one of the best script miners you can get right now beside the A2 till later this summer ......  when the A4 comes out if you think about it,the A4 is not really gonna use less power just do more but not use less power. my thought on less power would be 500 watts @  500 MH not 1100 @ 500 MH to me that is truly using less power (500@500) but don't get me wrong the A4 will be nice ..if i have the cash and they sell to the public il be getting one of there 128 MH A4 miners and will be buying some A2 once they hit the market cheap im sure they will be but still very use able with minera.

This only open up a new door to them so be care full this time you all know how they roll .!!!!   don't invest in them, in any form unless you like being used abused etc ....

we should start seeing a lot of KNC stuff being sold cheap like Unacceptable said, they got what was coming to them it was just a matter of time.

They could have been top dog all most forever but they got greedie and then tried to take over the bitcoin network which can't be done.

1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethOS - Ethereum Mining Platform on: May 27, 2016, 12:16:46 AM
Does this OS work out of the box with my old motherboard ASUS P5GC-MX 1333?
It's a sata ssd it should work with any mobo that has sata, I wouldn't be concerned about that.

I don't mean the SSD, but the OS per se, because I would have to pay A LOT with import fees, so I am interested in purchasing just the OS instead. The OS should be cheaper, by the way, because it doesn't make sense to cost the same - for U.S custormers, GpuShack offers free shipping.

I'm also wondering if it's worth buying it, because I only have one R9 280x, although the target market is the farm miners. Why?

It's should be cheaper downing loading it with out the hard ware it's not thu according to the what i saw on the GpuShack site . sense I'll have to pay the same price for the down load with or without hardware which btw made no sense charge less if it's with out the hard ware . i hope they give a down load link when i  buy it with the SSD which i don't need and i live in the US and don't want to wait a week for it to try the OS
but will take the free SSD but greed you know .. US way
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone Use The Newest AMD Drivers for Ethereum Mining? on: May 26, 2016, 11:41:47 PM
I'm using Crimson Edition 16.5.3 Hotfix 5/23/2016 clean installed with 2 R9 370 and one 280 with win 10. no issue to me the one before that i had issue with.!!!

not really sure what MH to expect  my 2 370 do 27 to 37 mh or so with out the 280 , the 280 is for every day use so i don't use it much to mine with.

I also have a 7870 i may fire back up in a few days that's WCed .

I am gonna set it all up in a open frame once the frame comes and might buy eth OS to see how well that does sense i don't care much for win 7 .

looks like i may be having the same issue aarons6 is only i have the full miner or miner his usb chip is based off of it's running with 5 boards off a pi not the controller it came with I'n running it in BFG a lone right with no issue. on clevermining.com with the below setting if that's helps.

Code:
./bfgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://us.clevermining.com:3333/#xnsub -u  -p d=8192 -S ALC:all --set ALC:mode=1 --set ALC:clock=320

1469  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BITMAIN!! Make a 200-400 Watt miner!! on: May 22, 2016, 07:44:30 PM
Right, but the solution to "I want a 400W bitcoin miner" isn't "mine something that's not bitcoin instead", assuming the goal is to mine bitcoins. And I don't accept "mine altcoins and trade them for bitcoins" as a valid answer because, for the most part, any given altcoin exists as a flash in the pan and every dollar made from one came from someone losing that dollar when the brief and entirely expected bust is over. Ethereum might actually stick around, but for every coin that lasts there are what, 200 that briefly spike, make profits for the cheaters with exceptionally good timing, and then go under?

I might have to take some time and read up on ethereum, but nothing's yet convinced me to like proof-of-stake and a couple other things I've heard.

But I do like the idea of a sub-500W miner like what we used to have before the industrial circlejerks took over.

you should read about it, they are pushing it hard it maybe here for ever or till whatever im building a 2 card rig that can handle 6 which I'll take it to, parts should be here next week i'll mine other coins if eth takes a big dump.
and still hope you get chips or some one.....
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alchemist updated support added for RPI with a broke controler on: May 22, 2016, 01:40:42 PM
Just discovered all you need setting wise is

Code:
-S ALC:all --set ALC:clock=320 --set ALC:mode=1

and fix it above !!!! .

http://www.alcheminer.com/alcheminer-scrypt-ii-project/

your right i miss read it but they did go bankrupt that was reported before the lite coin forums were hacked and put on read only .  yea that is nice 1100 @ 400 mh way better then the A2 that 110 @ 1200 i think . can't say im all ways to late on any a2 deals i come across to find out guess im not meant to have one but my Alchemist 256 does about on four blades i have running off a PI as the controller thanks to  jstefanop or = to the a2 in power use age.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AlcheMiner Scrypt-II Project on: May 22, 2016, 12:06:28 PM
I wonder how many got ripped off in per orders when i find that post again on the lite coins forums were they went bankrupt ill post it .
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alcheminer II supposedly is coming out ..so this blurp says 128mh $1299 280 watt on: May 22, 2016, 11:55:22 AM

yeah if you are correct in a previous post I'd expect the price of an A4 Innsilicon to be about 4k. IF it is 400mh and 1150 watts as specified.

still damn tough to get ROI on LTC at that price with difficulty rise that would result from their above data center of such and units hitting the world too boot.

Another difficulty increase 'arms race' as it were...

(then again I'm an old jaded asic miner from 2013 ..back in the day...vacuum tube miners lol Smiley (well not that far back ..still it seems like it with all the crytpo drama)

kind of but if  Innsilicon are the only ones then they own the scrpit market were never see one script miner new go below 1200 sadly unlike bitcoin miners maker were if bitfury does come thu like they said the other day well have three big names there .

but with script coins atm Innsilicon is king with no end in sight .

Well if you mean the innsilicon A4 Dominator IF it comes out in July 2016 as stated.....I still think it depends

1) is it gonna be a token unit kinda thing (less then 500 units like sfards and also that blink dash miner) just to show the flag for IPO $$$ for their 'private big (perhaps)
data center?

2) is it mostly to get the IPO $$ they needed (took like 5-6 months)  to build the 14nm assembly equipment at their chip plant...and as I mentioned such
could be used for 14nm chips to make of  a non asic type in the future..huge way to finance your infrastructure with little risk.

3) the above IPO $$ and the side equip 14nm equipment benefit of your NOW data center with equip/chips you built/own to dominate scyrpt. How many A4 Dominators
or bulk chip sales would you do if you were the only one (in say that 6 month period) mining the hell out of scrypt and LTC and were the only equip chip/game in town?

4) my Titans could benefit from all this. NEW equipment not a Titan end game only for equipment for scrypt coin. Could even make the price of LTC say jump from $4 to $6.
and at 350mh for a Titan at 1250 watts and an A4 Dominator at 400mh and 1150 watts I can still play this game and my stuff has ROI'd ..not to menton all the other
Titans who also have ROI'd etc. Then again that would work for say 6 months till other equipment folk jumped in with chips/equip at a $6 price. But just saying probably
would not hurt me $$$ wise even with difficulty rise in the least for that point in time if it sparked some 'excitement' and 'hope' in scrypt mining again with asics.

5) Will people 'buy' them? I mean really 400mh 1150w for 4k on a 90 day warranty? or Just get some GPU cards and mine Ethereum and as an example for the same
electric  miner 2x the $$$ in ethereum for 1/2 price of a current Titan Cube on Ebay? (of say $500) .the A4 would be much more then that. The 90 day warranty is
the killer for me..most asic machines did not even get a decent working firmware patch till month 3 at the soonest....

So anyway $6 LTC say in 6 months everyone would pile on to make chips/equip/maybe home miners/etc for their data halls and all that to mine big. IF Innsilicon is
smart they will make just enough A4's to peak interest...mine on their data halls themselves ...raise say LTC difficulty up like 20% and then have what happened
to the Titans..just sit as king of the pack for the next 2 years and mine LTC or other scrypt coins to btc for the next 2 years.

just saying...(then again they may just mine the hell out of scrypt and a big ass data hall and be happy with all the nice 14nm chip infrastructure they also got out of this
for use with other types of 14nm chips....call it a win that way)

sadly your out look is about right i do hope  Innsilicon doesn't do that but it seem as it's heading that way and A2 prices should drop some well Polly see a few  A4 sell on zoomhash for a week or two if your right then never again . GREED !!!!!!!
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alcheminer II supposedly is coming out ..so this blurp says 128mh $1299 280 watt on: May 22, 2016, 11:29:28 AM

but with script coins atm Innsilicon is king with no end in sight .

I'm guessing on the prices of A2 Terminator even the titans but price for them can't say , A2  well see them drop but not much but id say around 400 for the 110 and still have a use for a while but

Unacceptable is right sadly unless they slow it down it may take a few more years but bitcoins or any of it may be gone .

According to another post Alchemist went bankrupt on the lite coins forums how ever Innosilicon  A4 is due out soon with the all most same nm chip and price for there 128 is about the same.

I think we can all agree on this:  More flashing lights.  Christmas color leds.  Even more leds.  More flashing frequency.  brighter.  faster.  longer.

here here i love to see those lights don't know what i do now with out them but yes more lights please on those miners.
1477  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain New Miner S7-LN 2.7T @697W discussion (Not official) on: May 20, 2016, 11:41:13 PM
IF it's real

awesome not really i see why no one really wants it now i don't even think i do @ 300 to 400 USD imo as other said wait: S7 will be the same price if not cheaper, there milking it till they get there new chips ready .

and hit us with a over priced s10 s11 s12 or what ever name they give it and it will sell unless bitfury  does what they said https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1291890.msg14898273#msg14898273 the other day and BW comes thu we should see nicely priced miners again everyone can enjoy.
1478  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BITMAIN!! Make a 200-400 Watt miner!! on: May 20, 2016, 10:53:49 PM
I loved my S3's at the time they were tanks.   Truly was a great miner.   So I can see why some want a miner in this area, espically if in a home setting.  But now that I have a mining area I have to admit I like the big miners like the S7.

I could be in the few but I would rather have cheaper cost with big hashing speed.   I am more worried about cost then power needed to run.

Ive all ways wanted lower cost never really worried about the power cost if they had priced the s7 right i would have bought a few .my S5 paid half the power bill in the house and did Roi in no time but i didn't even notice till a friend ask one day was it worth it.( but Ive said that before )shows how much i care about Roi , i didn't even notice having to much fun just mining and covering cost, i was happy till the s7 .was so hoping the S7 was gonna be better or be more home minded .

I wouldn't under volt under clock one if i had one because i would use what i pay for . id keep it at defaults.
1479  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 on: May 20, 2016, 10:37:02 PM
Cooler Master is generally very bad quality products. Ive had nothing but issues with them in the past. But I am sure it will do what you need it to do.

I guess you must of had bad luck or im just lucky.. i have yet to have one issue with anything i bought from them , but that wasn't the reason i bought it i wanted to try 200 mm fans, I like them ..

I have seen posts of others having issues with CM stuff, i think my first cpu cooler was from them, i still have it and use it.

Saw these on amazon shopping for parts for miners , bought 2,  one just came man they are big, hope it works.
