Hi Stefanop,
I've mining steadily for a while now, no probs here but I thought why not make my miner web interface available externally (password enabled). The thing is, if I enable a port forward to my Apollo and try to access the (already configured and running) Apollo it shows the setup wizard again. Obviously not what I want, since its already running and also I don't want anybody else to really set it up again ;-) Is this something that is just not supported, it seems to be using some detection for triggering the setup wizard?
Thanks!
Yes this is a known issue that will be fixed in the next update.

Please jstefanop, try to add an IDLE mode, with less possible power needed, for (offline) Internet failures. Last weekend my Apollos were working "full speed" 28 hours, without Internet connection . My GPU rigs stops GPU mining until pool online again, and saves 75% (a lot of) electricity. We need this for Apollos . yes this is on the to-do list. I should have a small release out with a lot of these bug fixes soon, before the big full node update. When is the full node software expected to launch..... Or when is the Bug fix update going to be launched so we can test drive it First version of full node is running...got a bit sidetracked with Litecoin Summit stuff happening next week, so should have a release out be the week after. https://twitter.com/JStefanop1/status/1186794067541315584?s=20If anyone is in Las Vegas this weekend/next week stop by and say hi!

is there a recommended clock speed to run these fanless? all of my fans have failed on mine and at this point its too expensive to go out and buy new ones.
Anything under 600 MHZ you should be good, but you'll need to bring down core voltage as well to be safe.

hello dear, I have the possibility to buy it in EU for 350 € ..
I wanted to know if there is really the possibility of earning something ... as with me the cost of the current is € 0.21 (kw / h) and therefore I have to be on very low hardware as consumption, for home, I wanted to know if it's worth it or not .. thanks to all .. hello forum ...
If you want a way to slowly collect litecoin without buying it, and don't care about burning a lightbulb 24/7 to do it, then yes right now is the best time to be mining since difficulty is almost half of what it was during it peak (and you earn almost as much litecoin as you would have pre-halving). If you only care about fiat, and dumping crypto for fiat so you can 'ROI' then no this is not for you. thanks for the reply, but there is also the possibility to connect to any pool and undermine any crypto with the same "algo scrypt" Thanks in advance Yes this can mine any scypt algorithm coin, so there are dozens of ways to mine. You can mine dozens of scrypt coins, you can mine on mutipools, you can mine on nicehash and get paid out in bitcoin, you can solo mine etc etc.

After gamecredits marketcap tanked we noticed the profitability of Scrypt mining start declining, some more bad news, Gulden the last of the non merged mining coins that has a decent marketcap has created their own Algorithm called SIGMA which they are switching to next week. This will ensure profits on mining pools decline further for Scrypt mining. I have managed to sell most of my hardware this last week and just kept a couple of Antminer L3+ miners to mine litecoin for future profits as it won't be worth selling now. You have been warned, Gulden moving off Scrypt will be another death knell for scrypt miners, it's a shame because Gulden was the last Scrypt coin doing actual development. Lol yes sound the death bells. Gulden which has a total of 300 GH/s network hash rate, and a 4 mill market cap. Thats literally 600 L3s supporting the network, or 0.1% of the Litecoin hashrate network. Even if ALL of Guldens hashrate moved to litecoin, it would barely have a statistical effect on the DAILY network variance on litecoin. Currently you can mine almost as much Litecoin as you were pre-halving...this is the best time ever to mine scrypt coins not the other way around. I know few understand this concept though.

Has anyone managed to get multiple moonlanders to work with BFGminer, I have 1 to test and its working flawlessly, Im thinking of getting probably 2-3 more to ramp up the hashrate, and my usb hub will allow that, or should I just shell out for the Apollo?
Im really not interested in all that industrial asic crap as my house is not soundproofed! Thanks in advance
If your going to get more than 2-3 Moonlanders your might as well get an Apollo. And the Apollo is designed exactly for your use case, its an ASIC miner that can compete with all the "industrial ASIC crap" as you put it, but without all the heat/noise. It runs as loud as a CPU fan in your computer, and you can run it on your desk anywhere in your house.

FYI bitshopper.de now has a small number of batch 2 units in stock for anyone interested in Europe!

When it wants you to save and restart after changing auto settings I get a spinning wheel for about 30 sec then I get miner is offline message. Red light consistently stays on. Doesn't look like it actually reboots.
Do you have Batch 1 or 2? When its doing this is the fan spinning at a constant speed or starting/stoping? Batch 2. Fan comes on for 1 second when powering up then off after that. Network info on dash says I'm connected. Sounds like corrupt SD card when you try and save settings. Try re-flashing the SD card or using a different one.

You have to specify the COM port for each stick in both software, so they dont mess with each other. If you leave it at the default AUTO scan then the software will scan both sticks while they are running and cause it screw up the first running stick.
Humm ok. But when you mean 'each stick ' you wann say each USB Hub or really all sticks.? Because if that I have some work to do😂😂 ( got 6 of each) . Thanks for last reply btw Yes each stick, its not that complicated, for all Moonlanders you just have to specify the COM port for each one and put all 6 in the start.bat file (ie -S \\.\COM1 -S \\.\COM2 -S \\.\COM3 etc).

I already try start with one and then start the other and the other way arround also and always got some erros. If moonlander works gekko dont, the same if gekko works moonlander getting usb inactive... When installing drivers for one change all and the other stop working Dont know if even possible You have to specify the COM port for each stick in both software, so they dont mess with each other. If you leave it at the default AUTO scan then the software will scan both sticks while they are running and cause it screw up the first running stick.

Ok for the last few months this has been bugging me! Im trying to get my Moonlander 2 set up with prohash dodge coin pool and im getting this issue? What am and have been doing wrong? C:\Users\root\Downloads\bfgminer-5.4.2-futurebit2-win64\bfgminer-5.4.2-futurebit2-win64>bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333 -u noobminer19 -p,d=128 -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=600 'bfgminer.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
C:\Users\root\Downloads\bfgminer-5.4.2-futurebit2-win64\bfgminer-5.4.2-futurebit2-win64>pause Press any key to continue . . .
Any help much appreciated! Sigh....read the first page of this thread and the FAQ section...your anti-virus is deleting bfgminer when you unzip it.

Yes Batch 1 fans were 6k RPM fans which were overkill, Batch 2 Fans are 5k RPM which allows them to be even quieter on ECO mode.
Hi Jstefanop, do you have ref/brand for batch 2 fan? is it possible to install it in batch 1? thanks No its a custom made fan.

I just started mining with my new moonlander 2 yesterday. I currently have it directly plugged into a USB SS port. I have had to dial the frequency back to 384, since anything above that causes large amounts of HW errors. I also checked the temp and it is running around 100f. I am assuming that this is a power issue and not a defective unit but figured I would run it by the community to see if you all have experienced this before. Thanks in advance.
Yes your USB port is not providing enough power, you can also try moving the bottom pot slightly (~10 degrees) clockwise to increase the voltage and see if that has a change. Thanks for the quick reply. Just to verify while adjusting temps should not exceed 80C correct? Ok I now have the mem at .9 and the processor at .79 and still 450 just produces mostly errors Whats the error %? Did you try another computer/USB port?

It means either you router is not providing an internet connection, or you have put your pool info wrong and its not connecting. Double check your pool info and/or try a different pool to rule out any pool issues.

my miner is acting funny. not mining. started from scratch, new sd card, new image, new etch. it loads up, see it on the dashboard, starts mining then goes offline within 10 seconds starts back up. repeat. repeat. this pops up. Error: ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:4020 thoughts?
Do you see a Red LED when it does this? I do yes. It seems to be in a cycle of restarting. When it boots go set the fan speed manually to around 25% and see if it stops. I've turned the donation on and also turned fan to 25%. Still cycling on and off. connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:4028 with this error. I've been having the same problem for around a week. Miner was working for approx. 5 months without any problems. I can pull up the dashboard but when I try to start the miner it gives me the message 'Error: connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:4028' Miner being shown as ONLINE and temperature is being shown. I have changed / replaced the SD card and set the fan speed to 25%. This has not changed anything. The YELLOW light is constantly flashing on the miner....... Can anyone give me some help here? MAybe somebody from Futurebit themeselves have some ideas??? Seems a shame that the miner only lasted 5 months (on ECO setting) not overclocked! Thats a network issue/pool issue...did you move the Apollo or change something on your network?

I have an ML2 that has quit working. I had 2 of these for some time running with an extra USB fan blowing on them in addition to their own fans as an extra measure of cooling. The fan on the unit still works when I swapped it to the other working ML2 and vice versa.
Is there any other testing that can be done to see if this is completely dead or still salvageable?
Not sure if this means anything but when I plug it into my USB power monitor the screen blinks rapidly.
you should be able to see it as a COM device under device manager, if it does not show up there then either windows blocked the silicon labs driver and/or you need to reinstall it. If it still does not show then yea it could be dead. No reason something is wrong with it if you haven't overclocked it like crazy or overheated...they should last a pretty long time. You can also try a different system in case its system related.
