Little less in real-world, just under $800 minus your power costs.

Not sure where your getting that number from. This thing is making me nearly 1500 per month currently dual mining.

How so? The calculated #'s are just around $1K USD right now.

Also when I posted that last post it was earning exactly what I said, a week ago.

As of today this rig is making 1800 per month when you factor in dual mining.

So looks like LTC1BTC's data center caught fire....over 2TH of hashrate has disappeared....
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Post your GPU rig uptime! on: June 09, 2017, 08:53:06 PM
Just logged into one of my GPU rigs i forgot about the other day ( never need to touch this thing), and check out the uptime below...can anyone beat it ?? Cheesy Would have easily been double this if I didn't upgrade claymore over a month ago.

And no this is not stock BIOS (heavily undervolted....these are running @ 800mhz with about 100watts each card), and not in some datacenter (sitting in my basement).

1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Caution! Pandaminers catching fire! on: June 04, 2017, 11:05:00 PM
Its not the connectors. Where it melted was the GND not the +12V lines. They got some bad grounding problem or the PSU is just faulty in someway.

This is just bad engineering...

Yes the ground lines are the most likely ones to fail when you don't have enough connectors for the current draw your pulling. This is why the higher power draw 8 pin GPU connector has two extra ground lines.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Caution! Pandaminers catching fire! on: June 02, 2017, 06:49:14 PM
Nothing to do with PSU it self nothing to do with how much current system draws. You can produce flame with AA battery as well.

Looks like just faulty soldering or faulty connectors. Loss of proper connection causes open circuit > resistance closing to infinity thus current without other path will try to flow trough and heat up at point where resistance is high causing connections to catch fire. Might as well be just your own fault if you did not connect wires properly but I would go with cheap connectors used that doesn't fit together too well.

They are using seven 6 pin connectors to power 8 GPUs + aux power. This is bound to end in this type of failure eventually. Technically there should be 16 6 pin connectors to play it safe. They used the bare minimum.  (don't forget a normal 400/500 GPU is pulling half its power from the PCIE slot/riser and another half from the 6 pin).
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Possible to set up mining rig with Xubuntu on USB totally headless? on: June 01, 2017, 06:28:01 PM
You mean there is absolutely no display device where you intend to use that rig?
Crazy idea, that.

All of my rigs are all Ubuntu server based and none of them have displays. I find using displays with mining rigs a crazy idea :p

1531  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB Alcheminer / MAT Scrypt ASICs / Boards on: May 30, 2017, 05:49:58 PM
I need about 36 Alcheminer/MAT boards (each whole unit has 8 boards so need about 4 units). Will take whole miners/broken boards whatever you have. Paying up to 100 per board depending on condition.
1532  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 170MH 8 x 380x Plug and Play Rig on: May 29, 2017, 08:23:32 PM
Could you give me a shipping estimate to 66062 KS?

And if I give you a payout address, could you set it all up to just plug in, start up, and mine?

Yes I could...but this runs Ubuntu server...so if you can't at least SSH into the system and know how to edit files etc I wouldn't recommend it. Ground shipping to Kansas will be around 100USD.
1533  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 170MH 8 x 380x Plug and Play Rig on: May 29, 2017, 07:52:45 PM
Can you show us how how to run 10 gpu's on 1 mobo? I know its doable but having hard time finding info.

that discussion is not for this thread...you can check out my other posts...either way you can't do it without custom hardware and low level changes to motherboard BIOSes. If you want a plug and play solution buy the rig Wink
1534  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 170MH 8 x 380x Plug and Play Rig on: May 29, 2017, 07:28:52 PM
Asking around 1 BTC plus shipping.
1535  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 170MH 8 x 380x Plug and Play Rig on: May 27, 2017, 06:20:23 PM
It's mining with 10GPUs per the status screen, but the rig is only for 8? Huh

Yes its not ship-able with 10, since they are not secured in the case.
1536  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 170MH 8 x 380x Plug and Play Rig on: May 26, 2017, 06:40:19 PM
Is there a cover to the case and if there is are the temps still good with the cover on it?

Yes this is designed to run 24/7 in a server rack environment.

Here is a screen of the system still running. As you can see its been running 24/7 for over a month...zero downtime and temps under 60c for almost all GPUs.

hashnet stock updated but the price is like high in air 3600 USD

What do you think about this price of 3600 USD on hashnet ?

its fair to get it right now
if you calculate what you earn till 15 august
without price rise of litecoin and quite a bit of extra diffuculty i still get break even near a 100-110 days.
meaning you can buy now and get near 300-400 dollar to go once 30 august hits (assuming it will only arrive around then).
NOTE: thats without price rise which in my eyes is likely meaning roi is possible before that time even.

i got 20 on the 2k usd batch and 20 on the 3k usd batch.
even considering this batch for another 10 they are awesome.

You do realize there is a july batch as well right? Diff will most certainly doubly by July, and probably double again by end of summer.
1539  Economy / Computer hardware / SOLD [WTS] 170MH 8 x 380x Plug and Play Rig on: May 25, 2017, 04:21:39 PM
Have an 8 x XFX R9 380X plug and play rig for sale. Does about 170 MH eth @ 950 watts. Rig is setup for 8 GPU mining so you can pop in any 8 x GPU if you want to upgrade and youll be ready to go.

8 x XFX R9 380X GPUs (about a year old, all fans working no issues)
1300W EVGA G2 PSU
Gigabyte Z97 Board modded for 8x GPUs
PCIE splitter to accomdate 8x GPUs
Celeron CPU
4GB Ram
32 GB SSD with ubuntu 15.10 server installed
3 x High CFM fans (keeps all GPUs under 70c)
19inch rack case

With Eth + SIA dual mining you can easily get 1.5k+/month out of this at current rates.

Pic is the actual case, but cards are sapphire NOT the xfx cards sold here.

Found 2 blocks today. That makes 3 in 9 days. Earned 27 LTC in pool, solo would have been 75 plus fees. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Just on one unit? Or across multiple miners?

2 units (504x2)

what pool are you using? I ordered as well but its my first time.  I already asked for some pointers but no-one replied.

and how would you mine solo? do you need special software and setups?

litecoinpool.org
They raised PPS rates from 102% to 105% to 108% this weekend. Either they are tracking ahead on finding blocks or people are moving to other scrypt alts as Litecoin isn't the most profitable scrypt alt at the moment.

Doge has double in price (the main merged mine coin with Litecoin). Thats the only reason PPS went up to 108. FYI for each LTC block they find, they mine an equivalent of ~2.7 of LTC worth in Doge...thats an equivalent of ~111% PPS so effective pool fee is 2-3%

Is there a way to solo merge mine? without having a lot of tech problems?  Do i need to set up my own pool?

Pretty much....if you want to solo mine in the short term just point your rigs at my pool in my sig...I set it up to help with segwit activation but no one is on it right now. If you find a block its all yours Wink
